[0:01]so here's a story that some of you might be familiar with

[0:05]it involves a character by the name of ahmad duhani it's a

[0:10]very interesting encounter that takes place in the time of mama in

[0:17]the city of kufa ahmad duhani is summoned to court to provide

[0:22]a testimony the judge presiding over that particular case was the supreme

[0:28]judge appointed by the umayyad regime at the time a man known

[0:34]as ibn abi leila now ibn abi leila was a notoriously anti-shia

[0:40]and he despised every iota of the followers of the bait so

[0:46]when ahmad duhani goes to court ibn abi leila refuses to accept

[0:52]his testimony and he says to him get up and leave my

[1:02]court because your testimony is not accepted and then he provides a

[1:07]justification if you like which in a way was a bombshell as

[1:14]far as ammar duhani was concerned because you are that's why your

[1:19]testimony cannot be accepted in this court so ahmad gets up he

[1:30]was trembling he was shaking and he began crying and weeping in

[1:43]a vigorous manner looks at him and he says i've known you

[1:51]to be a man of knowledge a man who reports narrations if

[2:00]you're insulted by being labeled then all you have to do is

[2:11]relinquish your raffle faith and you'll be one of us you'll be

[4:36]god then forgives me then me wearing the title of rejecter the

[4:42]title of [Music] [Music] to provide me with their intercession that is

[5:11]my only hope of salvation and redemption and then ahmad says and

[5:17]the reason i cry for you is because of the enormity of

[5:22]the lie that you have just committed you have given me a

[5:25]title that i don't deserve [Music] and i sympathize for the great

[5:34]chastisement and punishment that you now deserve for given me a title

[5:41]that i don't deserve a title that you perceive to be the

[5:45]worst majority of the worst insult i cry out of sympathy how

[5:57]will your body persevere how will you bear the punishment and the

[6:02]pain now people understand this hadith the wrong way they think it's

[6:09]a license to call ourselves rafales and rejectors they even put a

[6:13]cute little ra character in front of their facebook and twitter and

[6:17]instagram profiles you know in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way that i'm

[6:21]a shia and while i admire the sentiment the story is telling

[6:26]us to do the exact opposite ahmad duhani cries because he says

[6:30]now i see that people think of me as a follower of

[6:35]imam assad when in fact i am not nothing about me says

[6:40]i am a shia nothing about me says i reject falsehood and

[6:44]sin not the way i look not the way i speak nothing

[6:48]about me resembles jaffa the ever truthful master of the righteous ones

[6:55]so then the imam praises allah listen to what he says imam

[7:02]says those sins would be wiped clean for sake saying those words

[7:20]and making those statements in the presence of the judge and those

[7:27]words that he made that declaration will increase his rewards and the

[7:32]eyes of god to the point that even the smallest grain will

[7:35]be amplified and exaggerated until it's it becomes greater than the entire

[7:44]earth by a factor of a thousand the imam praises ammar but

[7:48]for what exactly because ahmad disavowed the imam from his sins and

[7:54]wrongdoings in other words and i want you to think about this

[7:56]carefully as it's a very delicate and rather nuanced understanding of the

[8:04]story he is honored by imam assad for having effectively vindicated the

[8:08]imam by seeing himself as farthest from being a jaffari he's almost

[8:15]screaming who am i to be a rafale who am i to

[8:19]be a follower of imam assad now brothers and sisters we cry

[8:24]for the fact that the shrines of our imams have no domes

[8:27]to shade them we cry because their graves are devoid of visitors

[8:32]we cry for the desecration to which the formerly glorious shrines of

[8:37]bakiya have been subjected and we should but you know what for

[8:41]once let us cry for an even greater travesty of justice let's

[8:47]cry for something that's even more soul-screeching you know what that is

[9:06]our followers the imam says stop talking for once let's stop using

[9:14]words which for the most part are nothing but empty rhetoric let's

[9:17]albeit for once in our lives opt for actions instead of words

[9:48]with [Music] how shameful that our imam even has to ask imam

[10:02]alhadi is saying be pious then he says be a source of

[10:10]honor for us don't be a sign of shame for your imams

[10:13]it's disgraceful allah is disgraceful let's make an also feeble attempt to

[10:20]realize that it's shameful and disgraceful to hear that a business run

[10:27]by an atheist is more honest than that of a muslim it's

[10:31]disgusting to have retailers panic when they see a conspicuously muslim man

[10:37]or woman walk into their store and send a sales agent to

[10:41]ensure they don't steal something it's disgraceful that in an attempt to

[10:45]absolve the prophet of islam from our misdeeds and immoralities there are

[10:51]now those who say islam is one thing muslims another don't judge

[10:56]islam by the actions of muslims they will say this by god

[11:02]it's shameful that even we've begun to believe this as if to

[11:06]succumb to this scandalous and reprehensible reality islam is one thing [Music]

[11:19]he says be pious be observant be honest be trustworthy and when

[11:26]you do that people will say [Music] when your good people will

[11:35]say here's a shia and that pleases me when you don't when

[11:43]we assume ourselves to be above god's law that despicable inflated sense

[11:49]of entitlement and self-conceit that because we are muslim or because we

[11:52]are shia we are taking the fast lane straight into paradise when

[11:57]that happens you want to see how disgusting deplorable and bad islam

[12:10]is just take a good look at muslims and that hurts us

[12:15]that's what we should be crying [Music] [Music] [Music] you
