[2:08]this program will also continue tomorrow night the topic of tonight's program
[2:15]will be the mission of imam hussain was it a victory or
[2:18]not and this will be delivered by our dear sheikh basil and
[2:22]following his discussion we will have a short mesolithic message recited by
[2:28]sheikh khali so please help me welcome our distinguished speaker sheikh basil
[2:33]haddad with a loud s muhammad foreign of the most difficult tasks
[3:20]is to discuss and actually to grasp the greatness of imam hussain
[3:25]now we can look at this and try to prove this from
[3:30]multiple angles and multiple examples but today i just want to mention
[3:35]one one aspect of this to show that we don't have the
[3:38]capability to truly grasp the greatness of imam hussain alaihis and that
[3:44]is the aratua see i'm sure many of you have heard of
[3:49]many of them in your life at the center at home on
[3:52]different occasions different events you recite this yada or that ziara so
[3:57]we have many many ziyarats and you can open up the books
[4:00]of is the most famous and the most authentic that is where
[4:09]we visit imam hussain so putting everything to the side about the
[4:14]authenticity that's another topic but the conclusion the most famous and the
[4:19]most authentic now let's look at the content how our imams describe
[4:24]imam hussain okay in the very beginning it starts with what peace
[4:30]be upon you all inheritor the imam hussain is the inheritor of
[4:35]these famous personalities adam ibrahim so what's special about this is that
[4:52]this is unique to imam hussain go look at all the ziyarat
[4:54]and how they describe the imams all the different ziyad for the
[4:59]different masu mean and then take a look at zyatwara it's unique
[5:05]because imam and hussain al-islam is the only personality that is described
[5:09]like this that he is the inheritor of all of these important
[5:15]great personalities now what did he inherit when you think of inheritance
[5:19]what comes to mind some people inherit from their parents from their
[5:25]grandparents wealth property some people inherit physical features right what else can
[5:31]you inherit so when it comes to this type of inheritance nobody
[5:35]claims that it's referring to imam hussain al-islam inherited some physical features
[5:42]or inherited you know some property or some wealth and this is
[5:47]this is unique to imam hussain so it has to be something
[5:53]connected to these specific individuals these personalities from prophet adam the ones
[5:59]i mentioned what did they have that was special that was unique
[6:01]to them that was connected to guidance to their divine mission and
[6:05]imam hussain inherited that and no other muslim inherited what imam hussain
[6:12]islam inherited so this topic of what exactly he inherited will save
[6:19]inshallah for tomorrow but just for us to get an idea we
[6:22]can't truly grasp the greatness of imam hussain i mean just looking
[6:27]at ziad atwath a thousand four hundred years later we're still debating
[6:31]on on what the secrets are of what imam hussain inherited from
[6:35]these personalities that makes him unique and different than all the other
[6:39]muslims so today as brother ahmed mentioned the topic is the mission
[6:51]of imam hussain alaihissalam and was it a victory or not so
[6:55]you know i thought for a while what should i talk about
[7:00]what should i talk about there's so much to talk about but
[7:02]you know i'm nobody famous but throughout the few years that i've
[7:09]been around on this planet and this continent even in iraq and
[7:11]seeing different people from different countries and from different communities and from
[7:16]different backgrounds when you talk and discuss about imam hussain about his
[7:20]mission it seems that so many of us are confused we are
[7:25]confused about his mission we're confused about what it was and they
[7:30]were even more confused about if it was a success or not
[7:34]if he even was victorious why do i say this we're confused
[7:39]because when you first ask a young she brother or sister from
[7:42]different backgrounds like i said different communities they'll describe iman hussain's mission
[7:46]as a success but then when they described what happened they sound
[7:51]very confused because it sounds like he wasn't successful actually according to
[7:55]what you're saying so because this topic is important and we out
[7:59]of all people should be able to describe imam hussain alaihis mission
[8:04]better than anybody else and we seem to be confused i think
[8:09]this is probably what i'm going to talk about today some of
[8:13]you might think that it's too dense or this or that but
[8:16]to be honest uh enough is enough you know i think imam
[8:21]hussain deserves more effort than from us when it comes to researching
[8:28]things that are important to us than we do on tick tock
[8:30]right enough is enough you want to keep learning about your religion
[8:35]from instagram reels and tick tock i'm sorry there's no excuse you
[8:37]have to go you have to seek knowledge you have to demand
[8:41]classes you have to demand courses and if you feel like the
[8:44]content is too much then you have to do something about it
[8:47]we live in this day and age where you have so many
[8:48]sources let's stop making excuses for ourselves okay so s [Music] so
[8:59]when it comes to the mission of imam hussain when we i'm
[9:05]going to look at three topics okay his personality okay his mission
[9:10]and the people of kufa now when we look at the narrations
[9:18]all of the history books go collect them all put them in
[9:20]a big line and analyze all the narrations possible okay we're gonna
[9:23]have three main categories that describe imam hussain's personality what kind of
[9:31]person he was describes his mission okay and finally describes the people
[9:36]of coolfoot we're gonna have three different categories and you when i
[9:39]discuss you think how have you been describing these topics okay which
[9:44]category do you follow under which narrative are you supporting sadly so
[9:50]many so many of us are supporting the narrative of the enemies
[9:53]of ahlilbit the enemies of imam hussein so i hope today if
[9:58]you get anything you get this all right and you take it
[10:02]home with you and you make sure you don't support the killers
[10:03]of imam hussain when you discuss about imam hussain and when you
[10:08]teach your children your sons and daughters you make sure you teach
[10:12]them the narrative of the so we have three groups three narratives
[10:15]the first is benign described iman hussain's personality what kind of person
[10:23]he was they described his mission what was the goal and they
[10:27]described the people of kufa the second group the second narrative comes
[10:31]from the beni abbas sadly most of us probably in this room
[10:35]have been pushing their agenda they described his personality his mission and
[10:41]kufa and the final narrative that we should be holding on to
[10:47]is who the narrative of ahibit the imams from the lineage of
[10:52]imam hussein so how did benny umayyad describe imam hussain's personality when
[11:00]we look at the narrations that branch back to benin how did
[11:04]they describe imam hussain as a person you can probably guess they
[11:10]described him as a horrible human being who deserved to be executed
[11:14]in the worst of ways and they justified it and that he's
[11:18]basically worse than any atheist and he's a you know seeking power
[11:21]and he had no right to do anything and he got what
[11:25]he deserved now some of us like oh this is a bit
[11:29]too much no it's not a bit too much you can go
[11:30]to ezra right now university international university in today's day and time
[11:36]we do they describe iman for saying the professors and academic circles
[11:40]described imam hussain exactly the way benny olmay described imam hussain that
[11:45]he was seeking power he was thirsty for the throne he had
[11:49]no right to to you know to rise up against the against
[11:53]yazid and he got what he deserved and yazid had the legitimate
[11:57]right to do what he did okay so that's the personality of
[12:02]mount hassan or koreans benny oh my i doubt any of you
[12:05]or anybody you probably even know describes your mom saying that way
[12:09]so we can say that's a rare group but sadly it still
[12:11]exists today when you go to universities and you look up islamic
[12:15]encyclopedias this is how you'll find some statements describing mom saying like
[12:21]this the second group is who benny abbas how did they describe
[12:25]imam saying well they described iman for saying alaihis name the way
[12:31]mainstream muslims describe imam hussain he's the grandson of the holy prophet
[12:36]right he's a good person he's actually one of the masters of
[12:41]the youth of paradise right and they pretty much stopped there you
[12:45]know he was a good little kid in the time of the
[12:48]prophet in the time of his grandfather he'd play on his back
[12:51]when he's praying and that's pretty much all we know about him
[12:55]really if you go really ask me go go survey people ask
[12:59]them about imam hussain other than when he was a child and
[13:02]other than the last 10 days of his life it's awkward silence
[13:07]most people don't know what to say they don't have any information
[13:10]so let's conclude he was a good person he had the right
[13:17]to rise up against his eid but you know his goal was
[13:19]to what you know to reach the throne it was his legitimate
[13:23]right but you know he depended on a bunch of backstabbing betraying
[13:26]people and uh he wasn't successful okay it's a sad story and
[13:31]didn't like that and then we have a debate we go back
[13:36]to their narrations from the resources how do they describe imam hussain
[13:39]kind of like how i just opened up today's topic that he's
[13:44]the inheritor of all of these important personalities right he's one of
[13:49]the greatest of god's creation and he had a holy mission and
[13:54]it was successful so i mean you already know how the added
[13:58]bit described iman saying so i won't spend too much time on
[14:01]that that's the personality of imam hussain now let's get into his
[14:06]mission and what i'm talking about you can apply this to all
[14:09]of the important personalities you first and foremost should apply this to
[14:14]the holy prophet himself the holy prophet himself we also have these
[14:19]groups of narrations describing his personality in a horrible way horrible horrible
[14:24]way okay and then describing his mission and all of that so
[14:28]we finished the personality let's get into his mission what was imam
[14:34]hussain's mission according to the ruaya the narrations that branch traced back
[14:39]to penny omaya benny omayo says like i mentioned earlier this guy
[14:43]hussein he's like his father he's thirsty for blood he's thirsty for
[14:51]power he just wants the throne and he has no right to
[14:53]do so and he rose up and he got what he deserved
[14:57]his mission was horrible to start with and it was a horrible
[15:02]failure for him all right that's the conclusion now what about benny
[15:09]abbas benny abbas says what mainstream muslims say and many i accidentally
[15:15]say the same thing imam hussain rose up his mission was to
[15:22]seek the caliphate yazid did not deserve to be khalifah it was
[15:27]imam hussain's rights so imam hussain rose up to do what to
[15:31]seek the caliphate the throne it was his right yazid was a
[15:36]horrible person he played with monkeys he drank alcohol he had no
[15:40]credentials to run the muslim empire but imam hussein had so that's
[15:45]what imam hussain's mission was imam hussain's mission was to become khalifa
[15:50]and guess what did he succeed at it obviously not did he
[15:57]nobody claims imam hussain reached the caliphate that's why we commemorate so
[16:01]according to beni abbas imam hussain failed at his mission but it
[16:07]wasn't his fault he had a good intentions but he relied on
[16:11]the worst people you can rely on the people are known for
[16:13]their treachery and betrayal and no loyalty whatsoever the people of kufa
[16:18]and he made a mistake by taking his women and children with
[16:22]him he was advised by his relatives you know not to take
[16:27]the woman and children but he didn't take their advice and he
[16:29]trusted people that you can't trust and sadly he died on the
[16:34]planes of kerbera now i'm focusing on this because when you actually
[16:40]are discussing ninety percent of the time you're actually pushing this agenda
[16:44]that i just mentioned so that's about imam hussain's mission from benny
[16:50]abbas now some of you might be like oh this is too
[16:52]complicated no it's not too complicated you should know your islamic history
[16:56]like i said earlier enough is enough you have enough time to
[17:00]spend on tick tock and instagram reels take some time to learn
[17:04]about your religion it's okay it won't hurt you okay all right
[17:15]so now according to bait the narrative of bait what was the
[17:22]mission of imam hussain was his mission to get reach the caliphate
[17:27]and become the khalifa is that what his mission was so if
[17:35]we want to figure out the mission of iman hussein where should
[17:38]we look where should we go go to the words of iman
[17:43]hussain himself right so imam hussain alaihissalam himself he clarifies his mission
[17:47]right he actually has a mission statement you can say where he
[17:50]makes it very clear what he's looking for and he he makes
[17:54]it very clear he says it's a part of a long letter
[18:00]but i'm just going to take this part he says so i'm
[18:16]just going to focus on that point okay and i'll read you
[18:21]the translation he says i did not rise up for the cause
[18:24]of wickedness or amusement or corruption or oppression but rather the only
[18:30]reason for my uprising is to seek reformation in the nation of
[18:34]my grandfather and to follow the path of my father ali ibn
[18:41]abi talib what i say what did i just read he said
[18:47]what when we want to ask what was the mission of imam
[18:48]hussain he made it very clear he said the only reason why
[18:53]innama according to arabic linguistics is very clear the only the only
[18:58]reason why imam hussain rose up was to seek reformation and the
[19:04]nation of his grandfather prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi and to follow the
[19:09]steps of his father ali nevitali so if we ever talk about
[19:11]the mission of imam hussain we better get it right we better
[19:15]describe it the right way the way he described it which is
[19:17]what seeking reformation and the nation of his grandfather nothing else he
[19:22]made it very clear so we shouldn't come and start talking left
[19:26]and right and making things up so that's his mission seeking reformation
[19:29]so i'm gonna take the next few minutes we should ask ourselves
[19:34]what happened to the nation that needed reformation why is reformation needed
[19:41]is this a problem with some guy named yazid like i said
[19:44]likes to play with monkeys and drinks alcohol and this type of
[19:49]stuff is it just about yazid and imam hussain wants to just
[19:53]remove yazid is that the whole big deal he said seek reformation
[20:00]so what reformation is needed and i keep focusing on your yazid
[20:06]so you get the point let's not just put all the focus
[20:09]and blame on yazid yes he didn't just come out of nowhere
[20:12]like genghis khan and just invade the muslim empire right yazidi is
[20:15]not of some foreigner who came and took over and imam is
[20:18]trying to kick him out there's a problem in the system there's
[20:23]a problem in the nation now how are we going to even
[20:30]grasp this mission to seek reformation in the nation of my grandfather
[20:34]so one we have to first identify what the problem was with
[20:38]the nation and how he was seeking reformation and two he said
[20:42]and follow the footsteps the path of my father ali've never taught
[20:47]it so we have to go and ask ourselves well what was
[20:49]the mission of imam ali right if we identify the mission of
[20:55]imam ali then we can figure out what imam hussain's mission was
[20:58]because he's continuing the work of his father and now this is
[21:02]all connected so i only have a few minutes so i'm going
[21:06]to try my best to fit it all together in a few
[21:11]short minutes there's a lot to talk about because imam hussain that
[21:17]shahada 61 right the first month the first 10 days of the
[21:22]year 61 is when the tragedy of karbala took place and prophet
[21:29]muhammad when did he pass away in the year 11 the second
[21:32]month of the year 11.
[21:34]so do the math you know talking about a good amount of
[21:39]chunk of years here that a lot has gone on and and
[21:42]you know 50 years so whatever yazidis it was just he he
[21:46]just got on the throne so whatever has been taking place going
[21:50]on for 50 years approximately so let me try to my best
[21:59]to take such a big topic and fit it in five minutes
[22:02]so prophet muhammad what was his mission or what did he accomplish
[22:07]what what did he accomplish we can say he delivered this religion
[22:12]of islam to the world right can we simplify it like that
[22:14]what does this religion of islam contain what is it put together
[22:19]of what are the parts of islam the system of islam whatever
[22:23]you want to call it we got the quran and we have
[22:28]the sunnah when i say the word sunnah i'm referring to the
[22:31]sunnah of the prophet which means his words his actions and his
[22:35]affirmations so the teachings of the prophet the traditions of the prophet
[22:41]is what i'm referring to by the sunnah so we got the
[22:46]quran and the sunnah the quran al hamdulillah it remained up to
[22:50]the time of imam hussain and before imam hussein we'll get into
[22:54]the we can get into those details later but conclusion quran was
[22:57]there there's a book it's right there everybody has it in their
[23:02]shells what happened to the sunnah of the prophet so to con
[23:06]to summarize the sunnah of the prophet the prophet have found established
[23:10]this thing called the sunnah it's a source that we gain our
[23:15]take matters of our religion from when it comes to prayer when
[23:18]it comes to fasting worships transactions spirituality tough city of the quran
[23:25]we refer back to what the sun of the prophet is islam
[23:30]complete without the sin of the prophet you should ask yourself that
[23:36]is islam the religion of islam the system of islam is it
[23:42]complete without the sin of the prophet can you just rely on
[23:44]the quran by itself so some of you like oh that's a
[23:51]pretty simple question obviously not we need the sun of the prophet
[23:54]well it's not that obvious apparently so many muslims think no the
[23:58]book of allah is enough right famous statements by famous individuals the
[24:03]book of allah is all we need we don't we don't need
[24:07]the sunnah so the sunnah of the prophet was established it was
[24:13]there in his life and when he right when he passed away
[24:15]but once he passed away the sunnah of the prophet was attacked
[24:20]it wasn't attacked by the romans it wasn't attacked by the persians
[24:24]it wasn't attacked by the africans it wasn't attacked by the chinese
[24:31]or the europeans the son of the prophet went through a horrible
[24:34]assault all right but who was attacking the son of the prophet
[24:39]turns out it's muslims themselves all right and like i said this
[24:42]is important because what happens to islam when you remove the sin
[24:45]of the prophet it all falls apart the quran itself commands us
[24:48]to hold on to the sunnah and to obey the sunni of
[24:54]the prophet so the sunnah the prophet went through multiple levels stages
[25:01]of attacks by the time imam ali alaihissalam started his mission it
[25:06]was really to revive the sunnah of the prophet and the son
[25:11]of the prophet when you look at it academically and put a
[25:13]timeline together and look at all the events the sun of the
[25:15]prophet was on life support maybe even less okay now let me
[25:20]give you a few examples why what the next few minutes i
[25:25]have so the prophet passes away in the year 11.
[25:27]most of the muslims had joined islam when if we look at
[25:34]the life of the prophet 24 23 years he's preaching islam okay
[25:37]and we want to see out of this year when did when
[25:41]did we have the most amount of people join islam he 13
[25:49]years before hijra he was in mecca in about 10 years and
[25:52]two months he was in medina okay all those years when do
[25:57]we have the highest jump in the muslim population turns out in
[26:00]the very last few months of his life majority of muslims joined
[26:06]islam the last year and a half of his life and the
[26:07]biggest jump was in the last year so the majority of muslims
[26:12]of the arabs at the time they didn't really get a chance
[26:16]to get proper exposure to the sin of the prophet it's not
[26:19]their fault they didn't have access to it then the prophet passes
[26:24]away what's the very first thing the government does now some people
[26:29]might get upset whatever but this is all in the history book
[26:34]so you can go check it out yourself if you have a
[26:35]problem we can discuss after but what did the government do directly
[26:38]after the passing of the prophet very first night according to sahih
[26:43]bukhari and i'll just i'll use some discretion here summarize for you
[26:48]is that they burnt the journals of hadith of the prophet the
[26:52]sun the companions had wrote down the words of the prophet they
[26:58]would sit down and hear him speak and then write down what
[27:00]he would say so you have a bunch of eyewitnesses writing down
[27:04]the different teachings in the words of the prophet and the very
[27:06]first thing the government did is confiscated these journals i didn't burn
[27:10]to them no i know you know there's some justifications they really
[27:14]wanted to preserve the quran and they didn't want people to get
[27:17]confused with the word of god and the word of prophet i
[27:20]mean so they burnt everything okay no problem so they burnt everything
[27:22]but then they didn't stop there next thing is that they prevented
[27:28]the companions from narrating the hadith of the prophets we have multiple
[27:31]multiple examples of this you were you were punished if you narrated
[27:37]the hadith of the prophet that the government did not narrate before
[27:40]you now this is a problem but okay so now we stopped
[27:44]the circulation of hadith we burnt what was already written and then
[27:48]as if things are not worse enough and then this thing called
[27:53]fabrication distortion comes in you got all these fake narrations jumping into
[27:57]place filling in the void and then you have this thing where
[28:01]the ruler of the government head of state can supersede the authority
[28:06]of the prophet the guy can literally get up there in front
[28:10]of all the masses and say in the time of the prophet
[28:16]x y and z were halal and i choose to forbid them
[28:18]i make them haram and anybody who practices in them i'll punish
[28:24]them now this is a huge problem forget about the details the
[28:29]concept here where somebody can publicly supersede the authority of the prophet
[28:32]what happened to the sin of the prophet now why is i've
[28:38]just mentioned to you some concept some points and i want you
[28:43]to put into consideration that i told you earlier the majority of
[28:46]muslims in the town of the prophet had just joined islam right
[28:50]before his passing they were all arab okay except for a few
[28:54]converts from different lands here and there but the majority of muslims
[28:59]were all arab all right then the prophet dies and i mentioned
[29:01]what happened about two to three years after the passing of the
[29:06]prophet what happened politically when you go look at the maps and
[29:10]territories and borders the muslim government picked up the arab tribes especially
[29:15]the yemeni tribes are known for their population and their warriors split
[29:18]each tribe in half and sent them where one group went to
[29:23]the byzantine empire eastern roman empire and the other group went to
[29:26]the persian empire and within a few short months two massive empires
[29:32]fall to the muslim armies some battles took place some battles didn't
[29:37]take place conclusion is now you look at the islamic borders and
[29:41]they just multiplied it went from a few guys in the arabian
[29:46]peninsula most of it was desert and now we're talking about almost
[29:49]to the atlantic ocean from one side and the other side to
[29:53]the borders of pakistan all right what happened to the muslim population
[29:57]who became now the majority of muslims the majority of muslims now
[30:04]became persians and romans citizens of the byzantine empire and citizens of
[30:09]the persian empire did these people have know the prophet did these
[30:12]people get to sit down and chat with the prophet and listen
[30:16]from the prophet no they're given the quran this is the book
[30:20]of that was revealed to prophet muhammed and whatever they know about
[30:23]what the prophet said is whatever the government taught them so let's
[30:28]just focus on the people of sham real quick on the father
[30:34]of this yazid he was the spiritual leader of sham al-kubra for
[30:37]almost like 50 years where he's teaching them what prophet muhammad said
[30:45]and did and his policies so we have a huge problem here
[30:49]because the majority of muslims don't know the sin of the prophet
[30:53]now the prophet when i say he died in the year 11
[30:58]24 years later is when imam ali al-islam became khalifa and that
[31:03]only lasted for four years so if you want to guess what
[31:08]the mission of imam ali is i just told you about a
[31:11]bunch of important events that took place in the nation of prophet
[31:14]muhammed prior to imam ali becoming you can just guess what his
[31:20]mission was and because we don't have enough time to mention quotes
[31:23]the mission of imam ali was to revive the sunnah of the
[31:28]prophet did imam ali do so did he succeed yes but where
[31:30]only in the limited territories that he had control over the areas
[31:36]that maui had control over imam ali was not able to get
[31:40]the sunnah the purified sunnah of the prophet to those people okay
[31:46]so so that was the mission of imam ali imam ali only
[31:50]succeeded in the eastern territories but the western territories he was not
[31:54]able to get his mission that way all right then imam hasan's
[31:58]treaty comes and he breaks that blockade and allows people to mix
[32:02]now okay let me just uh because of time i lost track
[32:06]real quick so did imam hussain succeed in his mission his mission
[32:10]was to seek reformation right so if we look at imam hussain's
[32:16]mission just in his lifetime we can't say yes he did in
[32:18]his lifetime technically majority of the muslims still are under maui's rule
[32:23]now his policies they didn't have access to the sun of the
[32:27]prophet but if we look at imam hussain's mission if we look
[32:29]at the events that took place after and we look did the
[32:34]sin of the prophet start to reach the masses then yes it
[32:38]did imam hussain's mission led to the collapse of this system that
[32:43]was filtering and and holding limiting the sunni of the prophet and
[32:46]we find that the grandsons of imam hussain are the ones who
[32:51]led what paved the way led the way when it came to
[32:53]spreading the sunna of the prophet so one if we ask didima
[32:58]saint succeeded his mission yes he did why because he said so
[33:03]what he said so he said very clearly woman whoever joins us
[33:13]will be martyred but whoever does not will not witness the victory
[33:18]so he made it very clear it was victorious when we look
[33:21]at the words of the imams it was a victory now let
[33:25]me just throw at you some numbers and i'll end because of
[33:27]time to prove imam her saying his mission of reform seeking reformation
[33:32]was a victory we can look at the imams after him so
[33:38]imam ali alayhi salaam this is the research of sheikh tusi muhammad
[33:44]hassan one of the sheikh of the shia over a thousand years
[33:46]ago he established housing njef he's one of our greatest scholars and
[33:50]he's you know he provided for us some very deep research where
[33:53]he followed up on all the narrations in the chain of narrators
[33:56]and he compiled for us some statistics on the the amount of
[34:00]narrators from the imams so imam ali only 442 people narrated from
[34:07]him that i heard alibne say one two three imam hassan only
[34:14]41 different people said i heard al hasanev xyz imam and her
[34:20]saying only 109 different people narrated from him all right now i'm
[34:25]going to jump a little bit look at imam assad because of
[34:29]the revolution of imam hussain paved way for imam assad how many
[34:32]people said i heard jaffare muhammad say xyz 3217 different muslims narrated
[34:42]from imam assad and what was imam assad teaching the people what
[34:48]were the narrations that came out of his mouth other than the
[34:51]purified sunnah of the prophet inshallah tomorrow we will continue this topic
[34:55]due to time i'm going to cut it off now alhamdulillah muhammad
[35:15]thank you now we will have a short message recitation by sheikh
[35:21]brother so please help me welcome him with a loud okay this

[39:36]return of the imam's household from damascus to karbala on the 20th
[39:42]of safar it is narrated and attributed to imam assad that he
[39:53]once said the heavens cried for 40 days with blood weeping over
[39:59]hussein the earth cried for forty days being covered with darkness the
[40:11]sun cried by being in eclipse and turning red the mountains were
[40:20]torn apart and dispersed and the seas gushed out and the angels
[40:26]cried for forty days over him a blessed poet takes us to
[40:33]the scene of karabakh [Music] one one companion name jabber came to
[40:40]visit his beloved imam jaber visits caraballa while stole them blind grief
[40:55]grips his heart and sorrow torments his mind he hears a man

[41:40]and his voice is shaken jabber over here the ansar were taken
[41:48]and no one was left to protect the children hussein stood crying

[42:06]do you hear them oh jabber here they massacred our costume a
[42:13]young boy and the swords towered over him with armor too big
[42:23]for him we brought him to his mother a body looks like
[42:29]mohammed [Music] [Applause] was killed thirsty and within his father's arms he
[42:42]passed away who brought him water at last muhammad and fatima did
[42:50]abbas clench your fingers when he was born o jabber here i
[42:59]saw the moon's arms were torn yet only when he lost water

[43:20]have returned to return my father's head jabber his grave weeps from
[43:30]the blood his blood when i buried him he cried bring to
[43:42]me [Music] as they arrived in kerabala jabbar would perform the bath
[43:54]in the euphrates river and he would change into a pure shirt
[43:58]and he would ask atheia for some cologne or sent to quran
[44:06]he then walked until he reached the place he would recite allah
[44:23][Music] [Music] was on the grave of abba abdullah he would recite
[44:46][Music] that a lover does not return the salutations of his beloved
[45:02]but how can you return the salutations when your head was severed
[45:13]from your body and the arrows pierced your body [Music] and the
[45:25]horses of banumaya would trample on your chest as the captives the
[45:41]caravan of abba abdullah had finally been dismissed from medina they were
[45:49]led back on the road to medina when they would ask to
[45:55]stop by karubala stop us in the hardship land so we can
[46:08]smell its holy sand where hussain was killed him and his band
[46:16]and abbas gave even his hand as jabba was there with those
[46:28]that were with him they saw a caravan of people come towards
[46:33]them he would ask is this is this caravan for ahmad assad
[46:39]so that we may leave but if it is for imam abedin
[46:44]he says to his slave then you are free to go he
[46:50]says to him ojab arise and welcome the woman of rasulullah rose
[47:06]and he began to walk therefore until he reached the imam the
[47:13]imam would ask him if he is jabber he would say yasuo
[47:17]o son of rasulullah he would say to him o jabber it
[47:25]is here our men were killed it is here that our children
[47:31]were slaughtered it is here that our women were taken captive our
