[1:48]thing that he realized is they need schooling there's no schools so

[3:35]you dream usually a lot of your dreams are manifestation of your

[3:38]day that's why i pay attention to your dreams the next world

[3:41]is a manifestation of this world all your actions all the things

[3:49]dream your mom could come to you your dad your brother but

[3:52]it's actually just you just like you're in the womb of your

[3:59]mother and let's say you look at your hands you say i

[4:03]what are these for i don't need them and as soon as

[4:08]you leave the womb you look at your father who's that well

[4:10]that's your father oh that's why i need hands that's why i

[4:15]need feet and in the same token when you go from this

[4:19]world to the next as soon as you leave oh that's why

[4:24]i should have been forgiving that's why i should have been forgiving

[4:27]that's why i should have prayed on time because now i would

[4:32]have manifested all these things but if you would learn that by

[4:36]living this way now that you can manifest things right now then

[4:41]you realize oh wow not only is it for the next world

[4:45]it's for this world so how do we do it well you

[4:49]have to realize that you're building your own house there's this famous

[4:53]architect his name is koda he wanted to retire he was one

[4:58]of the best architects in japan his boss asked him can you

[5:02]do one more job just one more he said i really want

[5:08]to retire i planned a vacation with my wife we have a

[5:09]plan i don't want to postpone it the boss begged him please

[5:13]just build this one more house reluctantly he accepted reluctantly so he

[5:19]built it but he didn't put his heart into it he hired

[5:25]other contractors the house was built at the end he comes to

[5:28]his boss i did my job the boss says one more thing

[5:32]the guy complained he says what do you mean he said i

[5:38]could go he takes out the box the boss he gives him

[5:40]the box says what's this he opens it and it's a key

[5:46]what's it a key for his own house the whole time he

[5:51]was building his own house that's us we don't realize we're building

[5:58]our own house right now when somebody cuts us off we have

[6:01]to get angry we have an ego problem we open up the

[6:04]door for somebody what do we expect for them to say thank

[6:08]you and if they don't say thank you what does the mind

[6:12]say how dare does this person not say thank you for opening

[6:19]the door isn't it so you know that's your ego why are

[6:22]you expecting something from somebody just because they don't say thank you

[6:27]so one of the things that i do the people who've been

[6:30]hurt the people have been abused because what happens is if you

[6:34]have an emotion you take a snapshot because you're abused you are

[6:36]betrayed what happens is you take that snapshot and you apply it

[6:41]to everybody in your life now everybody's a betrayal so then you

[6:45]see a woman what happened my husband cheated on me i can't

[6:49]stand them and i just can't live with myself anymore can't believe

[6:53]the person i love the most betrayed me how long ago 15

[6:58]years ago why because every day she's waking up to the same

[7:06]thoughts and her body's convinced that if that is happening every day

[7:10]in that stress what happens when you're stressed out that way eventually

[7:15]your body shuts down see we're matt for short-term stress if there's

[7:21]a lion chasing you right now what's the worst what's the thing

[7:25]that's going to come in your mind this line is going to

[7:29]eat me which is the worst possible scenario which is okay because

[7:31]you're in a state of stress that's good because now you have

[7:37]to run or high or fight back that's good but how about

[7:40]when it's just your thoughts and your thoughts because that line disappeared

[7:45]it went away your body calmed down but those thoughts that line

[7:51]doesn't go away so now your body is always in survival mode

[7:55]so when you're always in survival mode can you think about tomorrow

[7:59]can you pray with an intention in love can you worry about

[8:04]other people what's the only thing you're thinking about is survival how

[8:08]many people know somebody that's addicted to suffering you tell them to

[8:12]read a book you tell them to come hang out i can't

[8:16]why well just this thing i can't let it go and they've

[8:20]become addicted to it and the body the animal is taking over

[8:25]the mind so what you have to learn to do is meditate

[8:28]supplicate when you shut off the body you say i'm going to

[8:32]get to you but not right now and when people have done

[8:36]that and overcome themselves overcome overcome you've become somebody else when that

[8:40]father i met prayed to abu fateh islam he had no other

[8:47]option he couldn't go to the doctors anymore they couldn't help him

[8:49]nobody could help him and then he was so zoned in he

[8:55]looked at no other opportunity but allah and allah saved them if

[8:57]it could happen once can it happen again can it happen to

[9:03]you you guys ever hear of the four-minute mile scientists said it's

[9:10]impossible you can't run a mile in four minutes it's physically impossible

[9:14]well guess what one person did it he broke the rules of

[9:20]science so even now what's going to happen you know if we

[9:24]went 1400 years back and we would have told somebody you could

[9:27]speak to somebody on the other side of the world through this

[9:33]phone what would they have told you no way how about what

[9:36]we could do in 100 years from now if those people could

[9:39]come and speak to us they'll be like you know you can

[9:41]heal people just through frequencies of the brain just by changing their

[9:46]brain waves really well people are doing it now just like as

[9:49]soon as that person ran the four-minute mile what happened 1400 people

[9:54]after him were able to do it why because there was evidence

[9:58]and the loudest voice in the room is evidence when you see

[10:03]somebody that was able to do it like wow i could do

[10:09]that that's why reading is so important study somebody's brain or study

[10:17]learn to mimic them so if you want to be an entrepreneur

[10:20]find out the most successful entrepreneurs and mimic them don't mimic your

[10:28]right it's like if you're in a relationship just think about it

[10:33]and if you can't think greater than the way you feel and

[10:37]a person texts you hey you want to meet and this person

[10:41]knows you're meeting them behind their mom's back and your mom's back

[10:48]but your feelings overcome you just like a drug addict you can't

[10:53]think about tomorrow you're in survivor mode you got to get this

[10:56]feeling you got to get this joy you need something outside of

[10:59]you to make you feel whole that's why when you're a follower

[11:03]and you're such a strong believer in god there's nothing anybody could

[11:07]seduce you with imam hussain allah his whole family was going to

[11:12]be massacred and they told him just give allegiance to yazid said

[11:54]says don't do it this way tell your parents then get to

[11:57]know each other but you go against allah allah says not for

[12:01]me but for you do it the right way why i do

[12:05]marriage counseling the biggest issue in our community it's cheating we fill

[12:13]a void because that person now that went behind the parents back

[12:16]they got to know that person well what happened they got married

[12:20]but this person is used to doing things behind her mom's back

[12:24]or his mom's back so if that person is willing to go

[12:29]behind his mom who loves them the most what do you think

[12:33]they'll do to you what do you think after three four years

[12:37]of marriage well i'm not feeling joy anymore okay i'm gonna do

[12:42]something behind my mom's back oh my now my wife's back and

[12:44]thus that's why one out of every two marriages that we go

[12:47]to end up in divorce for this reason because we were looking

[12:51]for some outside thing to make us feel whole for the prophets

[12:54]and imam said no it's within it's all there ali says the

[12:58]universe is without why are you looking for something outside and then

[13:02]when we look for something outside we're willing to lie steal and

[13:05]cheat and do anything we had a brother in this community he

[13:10]wasn't whole he owned a printing company he sold more he had

[13:16]the the contracts for ford gm and chrysler it was a multi-millionaire

[13:20]living in west bloomfield he wasn't whole his friends started gambling with

[13:25]each other he said you know instead of gambling taking each other's

[13:30]money let's go to the casinos he's wealthy so what do you

[13:33]think las vegas told them we'll send you a private jet come

[13:39]on in sure he would go outside feeling when when you get

[13:42]that what do you need more of just like when you smoke

[13:44]one cigarette and you feel good can you stop after one when

[13:49]you become addicted or a drug gambling's the same way so he

[13:55]started going started playing what did he have to do when he

[14:00]was gambling for ten dollars what did he have to do gamble

[14:03]for what more just like if you go from one relationship to

[14:08]another to another then you get married and somebody tells you stop

[14:13]now stay with this woman are you gonna be able to not

[14:18]if you didn't do the work not if you didn't have a

[14:21]transcendental moment of allah what's transcendental is when you end the trance

[14:26]of yourself so he started going and then one day he went

[14:30]he went bankrupt he lost all of his money now you have

[14:35]to wake up to yourself the trance is gone the money is

[14:39]gone it's just like when somebody does sorry it's been a rough

[14:44]week you can tell i've done a lot of marriage counseling and

[14:46]when the husband comes my wife left me that's when they get

[14:51]a wake-up call so you can tell what i've been doing this

[14:52]week so he comes he plays he tells the dealer you're killing

[14:59]me you're killing me he goes home no money bankrupt in debt

[15:09]what do you think his thoughts start going i should kill myself

[15:17]but right before he does that what does he decide to do

[15:20]it happened in our community it's a muslim brother i went to

[15:26]the funeral before he killed himself shaytan probably whispered to him and

[15:31]if you can't think greater than the way you feel and everything's

[15:36]always about you you're going to listen to shaitaan kill your wife

[15:42]so she doesn't have to suffer with you being broke and kill

[15:46]your kids so they don't have to suffer without being without a

[15:50]mom or dad so right before he shoots himself put that gun

[15:57]through his two kids heads and his wife's head for what because

[16:03]he started shaytan says don't allah says don't follow the steps of

[16:07]shaytaan he gets you with one step one bad friend brothers if

[16:13]you have any friend that treats you better than they treat their

[16:15]own mother run run away if you have a bad friend ibamus

[16:22]says our brothers are four of kinds two of them get happy

[16:27]when you do good the other two either get sad or jealous

[16:30]when you do bad or they get happy i mean when you

[16:35]do good or they get happy when you do bad and they

[16:36]go tell you secrets to other people but he says the believer

[16:41]gets happy without condition find a friend like that not a friend

[16:45]that makes fun of you and calls you names every other day

[16:47]that you guys are constantly picking out each other not that type

[16:52]of friend trust me it rewires your brain you need to end

[16:57]that trance see i've i always found it ironic when i've met

[17:01]people who've had a moment where an angel comes to them they

[17:04]were saved but then they go back and they're hanging out the

[17:08]same people doing the same things i've known people who have had

[17:12]moments where they've gone to hajj they'll tell me we went to

[17:16]hajj we had this amazing moment but they'll come back within one

[17:20]week they go back to the same habits why here's why there

[17:27]was a new york group pretty this is mind-blowing 70 and 80

[17:33]year old men paint back shorter they lost their height because they

[17:43]got older so they they measured their height kind of abilities fingers

[17:46]and some other tests for one week they had them reminisce as

[17:50]if they were in their 20s and 30s or for one week

[17:55]and they had them watch things and do things for one week

[18:00]by the end of the week they threw away their canes were

[18:04]playing flag football they measured their fingers fingers through cognitive group one

[18:11]week i've seen people after one meditation i've been in meditations of

[18:16]1500 people where somebody's blind or paralyzed they ask allah they got

[18:20]out of the way they shut off their body they told their

[18:22]body not right now i'll get to you and something miraculous happens

[18:27]but the interesting thing is as soon as they took those older

[18:33]people back to their environment what happened their back started to hurt

[18:38]the cane came back they were reminded to be old because somebody

[18:41]told them so this is just a lecture about your consciousness it

[18:46]won't do you any good lectures don't change people if they did

[18:50]then why was the prophet silent for the first 40 years then

[18:55]the next 13 years in mecca it was silent persecution then he

[19:00]went to medina last 10 years eight years of battle two years

[19:06]of speaking the rest was what the body telling people through action

[19:10]is how you change not through words so when you hear something

[19:14]you say yes i should probably get rid of this friend or

[19:16]i should stop being i should pay attention to these thoughts that

[19:20]i have and maybe change them or maybe i should read a

[19:23]little bit or hang out with this person or maybe tell my

[19:25]wife or my mom or my dad the truth but as soon

[19:29]as we leave here that's consciously what do you have to do

[19:33]you got to have the body aligned to it and you have

[19:36]to change your habits otherwise you would be just like those older

[19:40]people in new york or the people who go to hajj and

[19:42]come back and nothing happens because it was all conscious it wasn't

[19:45]rewiring the body and until you overcome yourself how do you do

[19:51]it you wake up every day pick a supplication look i do

[19:55]it with everything in my life before i ask anybody i ask

[19:58]allah then i'll ask my mom mom pray for me i remember

[20:03]there was two brothers playing basketball and they threw a basketball as

[20:09]a joke at a little boy on the other side of the

[20:13]court and it hit his head and they were laughing i was

[20:14]like what are you guys doing what's wrong with you so then

[20:18]they tried to start arguing with me mind my business are you

[20:22]guys okay this is funny to you i was so discouraged i

[20:27]left i didn't want to play i used to go to this

[20:32]gym and play every day i love basketball so i remember i

[20:36]said what am i going to do i don't want to go

[20:41]back there anymore and somebody said why don't you pray there's a

[20:46]sahib says where there's a duan number 49 to repel evil people

[20:53]so i did it i submitted i tied an emotion of joy

[20:58]that allah is going to help me with evil people and i

[21:01]gave the intention the next day i'm working out but i don't

[21:06]want to go play basketball with them and what happens they fight

[21:12]with who each other and they got kicked out i've never seen

[21:18]them again you know and imam hussain of islam says gain certainty

[21:24]because when you're so certain that when you ask allah and you

[21:29]get out of your own way that he's going to answer you

[21:31]no longer have to look for anything you already have it within

[21:35]but if you keep looking for things outside of you to make

[21:41]you whole the next car the next outfit the next relationship you're

[21:47]always going to be looking here's why there was a guy who

[21:51]lost his keys it's an analogy but think about it so he

[21:55]lost his skis inside of his house two things if you lose

[22:01]your keys for a day will you keep looking for them how

[22:05]about two days three days four days about a week about a

[22:11]year eventually what you'll stop looking right but our soul is the

[22:17]same way if you get into sin and get into bad habits

[22:21]you'll stop looking and you won't change and then you'll blame everybody

[22:27]else outside of you why you got a divorce why you dropped

[22:30]out of school you know there's a brother in our community his

[22:34]name is catfish mohammed baidu who's 18 years old he's one of

[22:39]the top salesmen now in our community sells cars just like alirido

[22:43]he said at 18 years old his friend came to him and

[22:47]said can you stow credit card numbers from your gas station brothers

[22:51]and sisters god gives you these tests every single day from the

[22:55]opportunity of waking up to helping your mom to taking out the

[22:58]garbage without being told so when somebody cuts you off you don't

[23:01]beep at them get angry every day is a test and if

[23:06]you rewire yourself then you elevate yourself and allah gives you things

[23:08]then you can keep going and the goal is to be like

[23:12]the prophets and the imams every day is a day to elevate

[23:17]yourself every single day so sven says can you steal the credit

[23:19]card numbers the same when we go to school do you have

[23:23]the answers to the test you know one of the things when

[23:27]i went to the universities here i was discouraged everybody cheated and

[23:31]the teachers knew it students everybody people would look at me funny

[23:38]like why am i not cheating so don't you guys believe in

[23:43]the that allah could see you you know what's funny is the

[23:47]one that went after prophet youssef you know what she did right

[23:51]before she went after yusef alayhi salaam she put a a material

[23:56]clothing over the eyes of the idol that she worshipped so you

[23:59]said islam says why would you do that because i don't want

[24:04]to have god see what i'm about to do because but i

[24:07]believe in a god that's all seeing all knowing you can't do

[24:11]that we one of the reasons why we sin is because we

[24:15]truly believe that allah is not watching us we lack that belief

[24:21]so catfish tells them brother muhammad i should call him by his

[24:26]real name tells him no i can't steal credit cards for you

[24:28]because he's like steal him and we'll split the money he don't

[24:32]don't know his friend looked at and says you're going to be

[24:35]a loser your whole life see one of the things we're scared

[24:38]there's a resistance to change and change is not making the same

[24:42]choices yesterday we're scared of being alone for a short time we're

[24:47]scared of having a new personality some sisters that want to put

[24:52]on the hijab they're scared because none of their friends have hijab

[24:55]but if you cross that river change watch out something unexpected is

[25:01]going to happen some synchronicity something is going to happen so muhammad

[25:34]i borrow 200 you know my family is kind of you know

[25:37]i'm having a rough time you know if you're 40 years old

[25:42]you're born here and you asked for 200 you've made a lot

[25:44]of bad choices in your life isn't it true because there's a

[25:48]there's a there's a science of making money it's pretty easy there's

[25:51]an art for fulfillment that's different but then he gave him money

[25:56]he says you could keep it it's not alone it's a gift

[25:58]hamid told me he was basically crying he said if 20 years

[26:03]ago he would have listened to his friend that would have been

[26:07]him and some people have gone through things done things that 20

[26:12]years ago and they still haven't learned to let go everybody here

[26:15]do you have somebody to forgive somebody that's hurt you you know

[26:18]i've dealt with people who've been raped or hurt and i teach

[26:21]them the art of forgiveness how can i forgive my rapist it's

[26:24]because forgiveness is not accepting what they did it's just you're now

[26:29]releasing the energy now you have that energy to do other things

[26:31]we don't worry about this person anymore you leave them to god

[26:35]and you forgive them you know the power of forgiveness brothers and

[26:40]sisters they've done a study think about this they've tested people's vertical

[26:44]jump they tested their vertical jump and they had them run up

[26:51]hills then they had them do a forgiveness meditation i forget and

[26:54]you know sometimes i do it every morning like i forgive the

[26:57]waiter i forgive you know myself or other things so they had

[27:01]to do a forgiveness meditation five minutes that's it right after that

[27:06]they tested their jump guess what happened to all of them they

[27:09]all jumped higher when they went up the hill they all felt

[27:14]was easier so when you let go of these negative emotions and

[27:17]you forgive people and you're compassionate and you're loving not only is

[27:21]it a spiritual it's actually physical that you feel lighter now you

[27:26]have energy you're out of survival mode you're not worried that everybody's

[27:30]going to betray you you're not going to worry that's going to

[27:34]rain every day and now you have energy to create you have

[27:38]energy to ask what does allah want of me today you know

[27:42]imam hussain allah he goes through his companions are all dead all

[27:48]became shaheed he's the last one he goes to he says can

[27:53]i go with your blessing she knew the faith of islam is

[27:57]in her father's hand she says bismillah which means go why there's

[28:02]tears he's on the hill before he goes to battle and he

[28:07]screams is there anybody there to help me but who is he

[28:19]the enemies he's talking to me and you he's talking to the

[28:23]women the brothers the sisters he's talking to us you know we

[28:30]we're doing eden with we recognize it you know every day you

[28:33]overcome yourself the prophet said that's eid every day you go without

[28:39]sin and when you have an eid allah says now you get

[28:41]to ask me for something and allah doesn't reject those prayers every

[28:46]day everything that i've ever gotten in my life i've asked the

[28:50]law i envisioned it just like you could envision when you first

[28:53]rode your bike you tell me instantly was it raining was it

[28:57]sunny who was there of your past correct you could it could

[29:00]be so clear well you should do the same with your future

[29:04]that it's just that clear you tie an emotion of gratefulness either

[29:08]if it's pencils for promises you want to start a school it's

[29:11]so clear to you that's the vision that people had that was

[29:16]greater than the environment that's what the prophet islam had even though

[29:20]he was surrounded around idols he had a vision that was so

[29:22]clear that was more real than anything around us that's the way

[29:26]gandhi had it malcolm x what is the vision that you have

[29:31]every day that you're working towards because if you don't have a

[29:34]vision of the future that means you're living in the past that

[29:37]means your familiar past becomes your predictable future and if you don't

[29:43]change and you're waiting we're all waiting for my wife to change

[29:47]my mom to give in my brother to let loose no you

[29:51]don't wait you become the change and then that change in your

[29:58]personality changes your personal reality and it's that simple i want everybody

[30:07]here to reflect on one thing starting tomorrow when they wake up

[30:13]that they're going to change either it's the way you talk to

[30:18]your brother or sister talk to your mom a friend that you're

[30:20]going to stop talking to and habit that you're gonna start and

[30:22]then you're gonna ask allah show me a sign i recommend picking

[30:27]either a dua supplication from the imams or the prophet like i

[30:31]could give you so many miracles just from that dua just pick

[30:36]one or just do a meditation and then ask allah show me

[30:42]something show me a sign we have a god that speaks to

[30:45]us but not through the way we think in different ways allah

[30:48]is going to show you something that someone expected this is how

[30:52]i've helped people overcome cancer but you've got to overcome yourself so

[30:55]make a promise today what's one thing when my husband leaves the

[31:36]one of my co-worker friends told her i got the raise because

[31:39]how did she know so she said she sits there and he

[31:45]opens up a card says i knew you could do it i

[31:50]believed in you i knew you could do it she had roses

[31:53]for him made him feel very good but as she was leaving

[32:01]another card fell mistakenly and the husband picks it up and he

[32:06]reads it he says honey even though you didn't get a raise

[32:12]you didn't need it because you're so worthy to me and that

[32:14]raise doesn't show your word so the wife was ready for what

[32:18]both scenarios that's a believer and no matter what situation they elevate

[32:24]they don't pick they don't demote unfortunately as soon as somebody tells

[32:29]us something the wrong way you know we get angry you didn't

[33:34]give back don't start small habits because each and every one of

[33:39]us has the potential of one day of cheating of killing our

[33:43]families of hurting people where the body can take over we all

[33:47]have if somebody would have told that person that killed his old

[33:51]family do you see yourself doing this 20 years from now he

[33:55]would have said never you don't know that's why even the small

[34:00]sins pay attention to them say no i'm not going to belittle

[34:04]my wife anymore i'm not going to make fun of my sister
