[2:14]of our loud salaat in honor of [Music] muham a second even
[2:26]Lou and of IM [Music] a third with your loudest voices in
[2:36]honor of the Imam of our [Music] time respected Scholars brothers and
[2:55]sisters cursing yazid without a doubt is an act of work worship
[3:01]on yaid is an act that gets us closer to Allah subhah
[3:07]wa taala according of course to original Islam but then when a
[3:12]person looks at the Sunni school you'll see that they're still not
[3:16]decided as to whether a person should curse yazid or they should
[3:24]not as to whether yazid warrants a curse or not as to
[3:27]whether yazid could be blamed for what happened at carala entirely or
[3:34]not as to whether yazid could have been amongst the repentant or
[3:38]not indeed this is somewhat flabbergasting because the reality is that when
[3:45]you send Al on anyone Al is a Dua a Dua asking
[3:51]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to withdraw his Mercy from an individual sometimes
[3:56]when it's translated in English with the word curse it start to
[4:01]be thought of as inflammatory whereas the reality is that in the
[4:08]Arabic you find that it means that it's a Dua that Dua
[4:12]is a Dua where I raise my hands and raising my hands
[4:18]for example in the famous segment of zat zat as you all
[4:24]know came to us from IM in that Zara there are a
[4:35]number of times in which you meant to raise your hands in
[4:37]Dua many don't many read the Zara in parrot fashion without knowing
[4:44]what much of it means but if a person reads the Zara
[4:47]with understanding it's a completely different thought when you get to the
[4:53]stage where you say for example the people of Maran and the
[4:58]people of omay these people you raise your hands in Dua when
[5:04]you do that because is a Dua you are raising your hands
[5:11]asking Allah to remove his Mercy from that particular individual or that
[5:17]particular group of people sometimes within the Shia and outside of the
[5:23]Shia you have people who may OB to they may be members
[5:27]of your own household or they may be members of your own
[5:30]Community when you say to the one who's not sh and from
[5:37]the school of sakif why is it that you don't do they
[5:39]refer to certain and that's their right to as well amongst these
[5:46]for example is the Hadith in sah Muslim where the Prophet peace
[5:50]be upon him and his family says that I was not sent
[5:56]as a curs rather I was sent as a nice Hadith when
[5:58]you listen to it nice easy listening that Hadith I was not
[6:03]sent as a cursor I am not a a person who curses
[6:09]rather I am sent as a Mercy to Mankind as if therefore
[6:17]from that statement the ones who do are opposite to the if
[6:22]you do you are therefore opposite to Mercy therefore in the Sunni
[6:26]school you'll find that hadiths like this come forward and are quoted
[6:35]as hadiths to prove that you shouldn't do on anybody you say
[6:40]even if that person insulted alai or his family or he raised
[6:43]his voice against the prophet or his family or he was rude
[6:49]to the prophet or his family or he fought the prophet or
[6:51]his family or he killed the prophet or his family they say
[6:57]yes no leave it to Allah to decide that is the common
[7:01]opinion of which school the school of Sak in the sh Community
[7:06]you may have people who object to you may have people in
[7:09]our own Community who'll say to you that listen I don't like
[7:14]them but I won't do say to them why and they may
[7:17]give different reasons let's look at some of their reasons one group
[7:23]May for example say that look my mother is Sunni and my
[7:25]father is Shia I don't want to hurt the feelings of my
[7:33]mom and therefore I will not do this you say yes but
[7:35]your mom has her grave you have your grave your mom has
[7:39]to decide on herself you have to decide on yourself at the
[7:43]end of the day if your mom has decided that a man
[7:46]who fights Ali in or a man who fights Hussein atal does
[7:52]not deserve a Dua against them asking Allah to withdraw his then
[7:56]that's your mom's prerogative why should you put it on yourself if
[8:00]your mom is insulted because you do then your mom has to
[8:07]readdress her priorities that's on the one side then you have a
[8:10]second group what do they say they say we have many Sunni
[8:16]friends and therefore we don't do why because we don't want to
[8:19]hurt any of our Sunni friends at the end of the day
[8:24]our Sunni friends have their reading of Islam and they have every
[8:27]right to have that reading if my Sunni friend today believes that
[8:31]Abu Talib is a cfir it is completely up to him I

[8:40]someone a cfir through your reading through your history through your analysis

[19:47]means a person who hurts Allah and his Prophet Allah withdraws his
[19:52]Rah from him when you hurt rasol Allah you could either come
[19:55]and stab rasol Allah yes or you can come and slap Ras
[20:01]Allah and ifas Allah has died how could you hurt him by
[20:03]doing the same to his children isn't that true if you come
[20:08]and slap Allah's beloved or you killol Allah's beloved you have hurt
[20:12]what does it say those who what that's why the prophet in
[20:24]another Hadith said look how the two words in Quran and Hadith
[20:32]those who hurt Allah and his Prophet f is a part of
[20:40]me whoever hurts her hurts me Quran said Allah withdraws his from
[20:51]them in someone says what do you mean in how does Allah
[20:54]withdraw you never know that guy himself might one day get stabbed
[20:59]up or that guy himself May one day die only a limb
[21:01]of his horse Remains the rest of his body no one knows
[21:05]where it went in sham that day you know who I'm talking
[21:07]about Allah works by removing theah from whoever hurts the prophet or

[21:30]in Surah 5 verse 70 prophets the prophets of Allah was to

[26:42]in the books of Hadith of course the books were controlled by

[28:02]flower say what's your family tree Surah 17 verse 60 tree the
[28:12]cursed tree one opinion is that that's the nasty tree called zakum
[28:20]yes that's the one opinion but the prophet sees a tree Z

[28:58]it saddened him why because who was the biggest enemy ofas Allah
[29:03]Abu sufyan imagine he sees a dream the Quran is saying the
[29:06]cursed tree descendants of Abu sufyan are now sitting on the member
[29:10]of Ras Allah did the dream actually occur or it didn't occur
[29:17]of course it occurred died the Muslims and as we said those
[29:20]who went and broke off their sects and become the first sect
[29:25]in Islam that was the sakif sect before that Islam did not
[29:27]have sects is was Muhammad and Al Muhammad the first sect in
[29:34]Islam was which one s sh were not sh mus sh was
[29:36]Islam we only called ourselves sh when we saw an election take
[29:41]place while the prophet was being buried otherwise we would have called

[30:40]tree is cursed you'd kill yourself yes a cursed family tree that
[30:44]was that family tree and that's why someone says did on these
[30:50]people yes I ask you to hold on to two books you
[30:57]all know it and the other one is bed and and their
[31:03]other works as well in there there are a number of times
[31:08]where Allah does on who Abu sufyan and mua and where he
[31:14]makes a number of things clear because sometimes someone might say did

[32:15]I walk around with flowers there is principles to it or read
[32:23]balad for the following hadiths one day Abu sufyan was on a

[32:38]had a son called yazid they were they were right of course
