[8:54]when you come to Abbas salaam you find that unfortunately for us

[8:58]many of our examinations of Abel father tend to revolve around The

[9:03]Bravery of Abel father only there is hardly any other mention of

[9:10]what the imams of salaam have said about it doesn't resonate or

[9:15]correlate that a man who was only known for his bravery could

[9:19]be admired or adored by millions in the world today if it

[9:25]was just a matter of Bravery then there are many out there

[9:28]who are brave however when a person scrutinizes the literature on you

[9:34]find the Hadith bring us with attributes that we can Implement in

[9:44]our life from Abbas alaihissalam why I want to ask you today

[9:47]apart from bravery what other attributes would you incorporate in your life

[9:55]you'll find that many times people will struggle to mention other attributes

[10:00]whereas the likes of imams and the likes of Imam all of

[10:10]them have mentioned specific attributes of that made him reach the level

[10:16]that he reached on the 10th of Muharram that's on the first

[10:20]level on the second level is which were recited say outside of

[10:27]the Arab world in particular hardly ever does the Zakir or the

[10:31]mawlana on the mambar ever mention the Poetry of Abbas alaihissalam when

[10:37]he was dying many times if you go to the indoor back

[10:41]subcontinent you'll hear a Muslim by 15 20 minutes the mawlana saying

[16:18]imagine that's when people talk about many times you'll imagine that these

[16:23]same people who talk about him you imagine that he's 50 or

[16:28]he's 60 from the maturity about father was born fifth of shabbon

[16:38]Abdullah son of Imam he was 25.

[16:46]and then after Abdullah who was born said when he was with

[17:34]convert to the religion of Islam so Imam made it clear that

[17:40]just because he is called othman and that I may had a

[17:43]difference with another Atman does not mean I can't have a son

[17:48]called othma at the end of the day I could have a

[17:51]son called othman who I name after someone who I respect because

[17:54]if it's a game of names and you want to reach a

[17:59]conclusion on the game of names then the first three caliphs themselves

[18:02]don't name any of their children Ali Hassan therefore does that mean

[18:08]they don't like him because they don't name their sons that if

[18:12]you want to play names because people ask that's it karbala Imam

[18:18]Hussain or others they have sons that called Omar yes they do

[18:23]a little bait had Sons with those names and had Sons with

[18:26]the name Osman but there was no Monopoly on those names for

[18:31]anyone at the end of the day I can name and you

[18:32]can name therefore the third of those sons was uthman the fourth

[18:40]of them was born literally shortly before Imam died and that was

[18:45]who that was the last of them by the name of what

[18:51]jaffar Imam loved his brother so he named his son after jaffarattaya

[18:57]these four from a young age especially the Elder two were trained

[19:05]by Imam Ali and their sword skills yes one of them was

[19:13]five according to narrations another was around 12 that being Abbas bin

[19:17]Ali Imam Ali from the beginning taught them the sword skills how

[19:21]they would face the opposition highlighting the importance of the father's influence

[19:27]on his sons sometimes today you may have fathers who haven't got

[19:30]a clue what their sons are doing or don't take any active

[19:35]role these four could not have fought the way that they fought

[19:38]at Carabella were it not for having a mother and a father

[19:43]who had given them the best of attributes and of course the

[21:10]rode their horses or went by footage was in charge of the

[22:02]the 10th of Muharram there may be water but not the water

[22:05]that's sufficient for the whole Camp to drink you might have small

[22:10]water bags that are there and those water bags on the morning

[22:12]of the 10th of Muharram are going to end up finishing anyway

[22:15]because you're not going to be able to drink it off and

[22:19]you're in thirst and you're in pain therefore number one and his

[22:23]brothers and his companions they went out to fight number two on

[22:30]the night of Ashura when Imam said that all of you can

[22:33]leave the first one who stood up and said I will be

[22:37]loyal to you was Abbas Ben Ali first of them he's straight

[24:43]cause of Allah did that Abdullah turn around and Flinch did he

[24:52]on the battlefield he fought valiantly he got killed another of them

[24:57]othman telling his brother Osman go out on the battlefield fight holy

[25:10]said I'll finish this one holy shots an arrow at him he

[25:19]out his sword and beheaded abbased his brother in front of him

[25:24]right in front of him he took off the head and he

[25:29]went like that will say he lifted his head he said give

[25:36]me my reward now look at his head Omar Ben said to

[25:42]him go and get your reward from ibn's yard what have I

[25:47]got to do with this reward and holy had waited until he

[25:50]got to Kofa he had the head with him and he went

[25:54]towards ibnc I'd like the rest of them as we come towards

[27:06]basira that is one thing that you should always pray Allah give

[27:11]me basira so that I can decipher between right and wrong good

[27:30]zero basira there are many who have basar they could see but

[27:36]they don't have basira and you develop that basira but that basira

[27:40]is also a gift from Allah where your heart sees everything clearly

[27:51]Imam also says what and he was also Iman he had unwavering

[27:59]Iman we should pray as unwavering what is unwavering Iman I don't

[28:11]do Haram that's unwavering Iman by the way that's a killer Iman

[28:16]why because I want to be one of the boys I want

[28:17]to be one of the girls I want to be someone who

[32:51]somewhere Imam said to him but you're my flag bearer the line

[33:11]who love Abbas but they're hard they're they're not soft-hearted vicious arrogant

[36:49]why would they mention Indian Rome number one sometimes the non-muslim has

[36:53]a softer heart than the Muslim and may Allah never show us

[36:59]this in our lives that we as Muslims we are meant to

[37:01]be people who have the softest heart the beauty even when you

[37:05]come to Carabella the beauty is when you see everybody generous and

[37:08]hospitable and so on that's Islam that we want to portray not

[37:13]in Islam where we want to kill each other and demolish each
