[3:07]at 9 30 PM after us and this program will be live
[3:14]streamed so if you cannot make it to the to the center
[3:18]online um three is our general housekeeping I've not mentioned these for
[3:31]a while but now that we're approaching the weekend and all the
[3:36]original nights of to Ashura let's consider neighbors noise pollution again let's
[3:42]try to keep keep as quiet as we come um all parking
[3:48]again please avoid using Bridge Road or Duxbury Road for parking used
[3:51]Spence street car park or also the other surround is the factories
[3:57]um also at this point I just want to thank all the
[4:01]volunteers that have been working technically outside table Rook with the car
[4:05]parking with the program management Etc so I'm sure somebody will thank
[4:11]them tomorrow but I just wanted to say a thank you because
[4:14]without them these events would not be possible announced is the bottle
[4:20]for Imam Hussein charity that's why I was slightly late bottles that
[4:25]we've received from Imam Hussein charity they're recite you're not you're supposed
[4:30]to fill these up not throw them away so those who want
[4:34]to come right if you just pick one of these up from
[4:38]outside they're selling whether they're free so that's another good thing but
[4:43]if you're using them then please take them and you can come
[4:47]to the to the center inshallah and then finally we've got um
[4:53]in TV um so today we've we've got the team from Iman
[4:57]was saying TV here today and they want to give us a
[5:02]quick presentation so could I please ask Brother Ali jagani to the
[5:07]police a lot please foreign to help us stood all alone when
[5:51]he called out it wasn't a call for that moment it was
[5:58]a vibration and every Shia till today has to answer that call
[6:01]you see 13 years old five brothers initiative and they decided that
[6:08]this call is their responsibility to answer so they started Imam Hussein
[6:13]TV when they started saying TV they were blessed to be in
[6:16]the city of so they set up the first office in bainul
[6:22]haramain if we can keep as close to the essence of Jannah
[6:25]our mission will stay steadfast the mission has been such now 22
[6:33]we have five different channels in five different languages not just that
[6:39]we have a news agency that reports every single Shia in the
[6:44]world further to this on social media alone last year we had
[6:49]72 million views and we wanted to make sure the channel is
[6:52]accessible to everyone so our Apple TV smart TV Roku TV YouTube
[6:59]and as of Ramadan we launched on Sky Channel 789 but that's
[7:03]not all you see people will ask here's a knight assuring that
[7:09]the message is accessible and their inspiration is actually truly you see
[7:17]people think that the sacrifice of above so everybody becomes becoming it
[7:24]is about the speeches and the sermons of say the zainab every
[7:30]speech she gave was the first form of media in the name
[7:32]Islam every time she gave a sermon every time she spoke out
[7:39]this was propagating the message because the message of the law is
[7:42]a university and it's a university like no other you need other
[7:49]qualifications to access this University is for children adults alike this University
[7:53]merely needs the love of Hussein this message isn't just for ideas
[8:01]we need to assure is spread to non-muslims non-shias every person because
[8:07]Hussein belongs to all of us and thus this opportunity with Imam
[8:13]Hussein TV became such you see Imam Hussain TV see his debate
[8:19]Alchemists are those our heart pieces of lead without much enrich our
[8:30]hearts the love of Hussein which you shed is that which allows
[8:37]your heart to become open and free for her sin and that's
[8:41]why our entire ethos is Imam Hussain TV so gateway to karbala
[8:47]a lot to have access to karbala day in and day out
[8:51]it's my role in this well there are three things to end
[8:56]with the first thing is yeah whenever you see a dedication in
[8:58]the name of Imam Hussain in Islam in particular because he'll Enlighten
[9:05]them sometimes you'll think I'll keep this oh I don't need to
[9:07]share that because I promise you it can make a difference secondly
[9:10]and onto your hearts in these 10 nights I was one of
[9:15]those that attended the majalis of Hussein and if you can't physically
[9:17]attend a TV that's where we come into play switch on your
[9:22]TV you'll have live access to multiple lectures multitude lastly spirituality and
[9:28]that's why I've come here today Imam Hussain CB has brought two
[9:34]flags which were gone last year during each and every one of
[9:41]you to sign these flags as a form of Allegiance in saying
[9:43]that I wasn't there about but when my Imam calls out I'll
[9:49]be the first person to raise my hands so to end with
[9:53]I request you all to raise your right hands with me and
[9:56]call up times on this night Hussein Hussein Hussein the Lesser jamaat
[10:11]has also to ask you all to take part in your imaginative
[10:14]for expanding and you guys are building new things important and pivotal
[10:21]that every single one of you take part in this because one
[10:23]person's initiative there can be different future generation is set up lastly
[10:29]tonight smudge is being sponsored by a few families whose motherhood means
[10:33]have passed away their names will be on the screen shortly so
[10:37]I request you all together foreign I'd request you all to please
[10:57]move as far forward Muhammad please come as far forward as possible
[11:09]on these nights we want to assure every man child woman is
[11:15]able to get Space able to grieved comfortably so I request you
[11:21]only some as far forward as possible can we please now welcome
[11:24]Dr Samana um Muhammad [Music] there's just been a delay for a
[12:13]few moments so I wasn't in reciting will recite amayogbo five times
[12:16]because especially in these nights that are unwell and having difficulties it's
[12:20]these nights especially in the name of Abdullah we can make a
[12:24]difference so together join me in writing on my you five times
[12:29]um [Music] and in doing so please come as forward as possible
[13:14]also thank you the Lord foreign foreign Bahrain was happy hello I
[15:06]mean Anna second available foreign foreign the first of all outside the
[16:27]third with your as an honor of the Imam of our time
[16:32]Imam respective Scholars Brothers Islam in the media have a quite checkered
[16:50]history some cases citizenship it is it's been a very awkward relationship
[16:58]in each and every human being at one stage or another has
[17:02]been affected by the media of their time that's why it's vital
[17:07]for us to scrutinize the importance of within Islamic thought reality is
[17:13]that every time every Empire every government have always sought to make
[17:19]sure people who are in charge or in control of the mean
[17:24]because that the media has four effects on the human cognitive effect
[17:28]and affect that cycle affect that in terms of emotion and a
[17:36]term where one sees the media affects our belief system sometimes the
[17:40]media can literally shape our reasoning our ideology our world view at
[17:46]any moment our life depending on how well Spin Doctors work within
[17:53]that media environment that which is truthful could at times be seen
[17:58]as that which is false and that which is false could at
[18:00]times be seen as that which is the truth and you find
[18:05]therefore that's in our time the world of the media is probably
[18:08]better than it's ever been before literally now when you open your
[18:14]phone and you look at your main screen how many there are
[18:17]highlight to you the different ways that the media relate to you
[18:23]on its most positive level or psychologically affect you reality is that
[18:28]the app that you download is an app that highlights how the
[18:32]media is in your life because when we look at our phone
[18:38]it gives us an understanding of where we are the media has
[18:41]either shaped us to have apps for example related to religion or
[18:46]we may have apps related to gambling or we may have absolutely
[18:51]example movies or apps related to education the media has reached such
[18:58]a level where literations in our households in the past that was
[19:02]only the television that lived in our house you were lucky if
[19:05]you had a television screen just 60 70 years ago in your
[19:08]house now not only you have a television screen but within the
[19:14]television screen the tend to Media are in your house literally because
[19:17]now with a smart TV a person can go into different media
[19:22]Outlets within their to watch movies then I can click on one
[19:28]particular screen I want to watch sports I click on screen I
[19:34]want to watch documentaries I click on the screen and so therefore
[19:38]the media seeks to entice because they recognize that there's who has
[19:45]The Narrative of your time each of the media conglomerates seem to
[19:52]find a way in which it can dominate The Narrative of your
[19:54]time and it doesn't just want to date your narrative it wants
[19:58]to dominate The Narrative with your children as well because we know
[20:01]very well that if you are able to capture the mind of
[20:06]the children then not only will you set the vision for the
[20:08]next 20 30 years but also parents soft spots are their kids
[20:13]so when that child wants to buy something you have to make
[20:19]it attractive enough in the media or if you want to change
[20:21]societies you'll begin with the children so therefore the discussion of the
[20:26]media becomes a discussion of Elders and youth in the past what
[20:32]came on TV would only have really an effect on the adult
[20:34]there was even a period they used to call the Watershed period
[20:40]what shed period was a period for example at nine o'clock after
[20:44]nine o'clock there were certain scenes on that the media would because
[20:49]they were adult material before nine o'clock everybody was privy to all
[20:54]types of programs what's up there was a scene that involved mutual
[20:59]touch consort you'll find that the media would make it clear that
[21:08]after nine different scenes with children children can now see this at
[21:13]2PM if they want the media has now moved into shaping the
[21:16]moral worldview as well so on the one hand not just the
[21:20]religious worldview the media also shapes the moral worldview on top it
[21:27]also has an addictive streak that can easily be addicted to the
[21:35]media to solve me included can live without what's up without for
[21:43]example any of the others that are there how many of us
[21:47]can live without these things it's very difficult for us the Muslim
[21:50]Community as well and their relationship with the media normally when the
[21:55]media discusses Islam sadly it's normally a negative narrative rather than a
[22:01]positive narrative really in the media do I hear of a Muslim
[22:04]Doctor Who has opened a ward or a clinic in their local
[22:09]area do you really hear news like that when dawahari dies straight
[22:13]away amen Islamic terrorist that is front page that is right at
[22:21]the front whereas those Muslims who do good you find that hardly
[22:25]ever there at the front of the media how then do I
[22:30]react to such a media world today when I see my children
[22:32]are addicted to social media sometimes more than the sweets that we
[22:36]used to buy as kids when I see that I as a
[22:40]Muslim never get positive looking rather all the news that's about me
[22:47]is related to that which is negative rather than positive I never
[22:51]have a positive look in terms of my community what do I
[22:54]do then as a Muslim in this period I see that my
[22:59]children's ideological Frameworks are all over the place at school there were
[23:05]certain sexual Concepts which we once even privy to now there are
[23:09]Concepts where the children are not sure anymore what the boundaries are
[23:13]as a Muslim what do I do because in 2022 when I
[23:18]live in the UK and I see what the media is producing
[23:22]or when I live in America and I see what the media
[23:24]is producing or I live even in certain Muslim lands and see
[23:29]what the media is producing what do I do further than that
[23:31]there is also Shia media what do I mean Shia media and
[23:37]its importance because if somebody now is attacking the Shiite belief system
[23:43]and somebody for example is positing arguments as to why Imam for
[23:48]example didn't exist or why for example the imams may not be
[23:56]infallible or why for example other areas of whether the Quran has
[24:00]been changed or not and classic arguments how do I interact with
[24:04]Shia media because now Shia media also has a presence but that's
[24:11]Shia media what type of rhetoric is it meant to take is
[24:14]the rhetoric meant to be a rhetoric which is positive or A
[24:21]rhetoric which is volatile a rhetoric that addresses current concerns or a
[24:26]rhetoric that addresses the past therefore you see that this topic of
[24:30]the media has to be approached from different angles because each and
[24:34]every one of these issues is vital to all of our futures
[24:38]it takes one show on television and your child may leave the
[24:41]school of a little bit it takes one show on television and
[24:44]your child may leave the religion of Islam therefore how did the
[24:50]Quran and the halilbaits approach the media if someone was to ask
[24:54]you today show me from Islamic history what lessons can be learned
[24:59]and how you relate them to our relationship with the media today
[25:05]what examples would we give let's tonight examine the relationship between Islam
[25:09]and the media past present and future and I'd like to do
[25:17]this in the following stages number one decoration the time of the
[25:20]Prophet what were the three tactics that they used which are used
[25:26]by any government when they want to control the media and the
[25:29]masses number two was the prophet a victim of the media and
[25:36]their attacks number three how did he reply to the attacks of
[25:39]the media and how did the Quran act as a source of
[25:44]a media channel in his time in reply to those who were
[25:46]opposing him number four is all news about Muslims in the media
[25:53]always wrong does the media have a hate campaign against Muslims or
[25:57]do we sometimes also have to look in the mirror about some
[26:02]of our Behavior as well when we're living within Society number five
[26:06]how important is Shia media and who does One support and who
[26:10]does one oppose and is it subjective according to what stage of
[26:14]your life you're at number seven how important is it that we
[26:20]have fun media rather than just serious media in order that our
[26:23]children grow up number eight how important are parents when it comes
[26:27]to the media that affects their children and how much more involvement
[26:33]do the parents need to have and further than that how did
[26:39]the umaids exploit the media and especially by hiring certain Spin Doctors
[26:45]to attack Fatima Ali as well as Hassan and the children of
[26:49]Hassan let's examine this and dissect the topic in complete depth when
[26:53]you look at the issue of the media naturally a person returns
[27:00]to their history and to the Quran because if you think Fox
[27:03]News and BBC were quite strong then you haven't come acrossian and
[27:11]their likes those were the media magnets of quraish society those media
[27:17]magnets you can learn a lot about the media from them someone
[27:21]says what do you mean you're telling me guys who lived a
[27:23]thousand four hundred years ago you're telling me that I can learn
[27:28]from them no no if I wanted to tonight I'd even take
[27:30]you back before that farahon would never have been for our own
[27:35]of his time if he had no as his media spin doctor
[27:37]the Quran always showed us that these governments always their success came
[27:42]through the media that if they encourage their people to look after
[27:48]the media then they were able to control the masses but how
[27:51]did they do it when I learn about the media I don't
[27:56]just need to learn from masooms sometimes can tell me how shaytan
[28:01]works because when you look at their government they had three things
[28:04]that they would do with the media and those three things help
[28:07]them control quresh society and help them in particular against the prophet
[28:12]number one fear-mongering you want to control the people make sure that
[28:22]your media apparatus instills the fear in the hearts of the people
[28:26]that if you are not part of this or you're not one
[28:30]of this then you're not one of us and that it's fine
[28:33]for a person to be condescending or to be rude towards someone
[28:37]and that if anyone dares to mess about with you with us
[28:42]then we'll finish them in the media the first thing they used
[28:44]to use in quray society was fear-mongering someone says how fear-mongering that
[28:51]literally if they felt someone was an opposition to them they would
[28:56]instill fear in him or they didn't still fear in the followers
[29:00]through which tactics you'd find for example the quraish would come to
[29:06]anyone who was converting to Islam you join that religion we're going
[29:10]to torture you simple as that and they'd make the torture public
[29:13]because if I'm able to show publicly that anyone who comes towards
[29:18]a particular path anyone who holds on to a particular belief we're
[29:22]gonna do this to them we're gonna do that to them then
[29:26]the people would become scared literally there were Companions of rasulullah who
[29:31]would hide if they came towards the religion of Islam why would
[29:34]they hide because made it clear I'll tell you what I do
[29:39]to Muhammad so now try and enjoy in his religion when the
[29:42]prophet was Institute for example sometimes you would find the prophet peace
[29:45]be upon him and his family while he'd been sujood would come
[29:50]be relatedly any of you thinking of joining the religion you're thinking
[29:53]of joining yeah he would get the feces of an animal and
[29:57]throw it on the top of rasulullah's head rasul would be Institute
[30:00]and the Quran would say have you seen the one who stops
[30:08]our servant while he's in his prayer the first tactic that the
[30:11]media would use against the prophet was fear-mongering against the quraish because
[30:16]if you can instill fear in the masses as you could do
[30:19]with for example if a particular virus goes around today you instill
[30:24]a particular fear and everyone believes whatever is said then go and
[30:28]take this medicine go and take that medicine people then submit nobody
[30:33]dares to question otherwise because the authorities tell you if you question
[30:39]we won't allow you to leave this area you remain within this
[30:43]area that's number one number two the second skill that's taught us
[30:48]about media was what was that absolute Free Speech there is no
[30:54]problem with it whatsoever absolute Free Speech you want to insult no
[31:00]problem insult there is no harm insulting that's absolute free speech meant
[31:06]anyone who wanted to insult there was no limit on how they
[31:13]insulted because you would see rasulullah just lost his baby son imagine
[31:18]you've lost your baby's son and the media conglomerate of that time
[31:23]instead of for example sayings condolences to you they would shout absolute
[31:29]Free Speech normally that should be curtailed someone's lost their child and
[31:34]if somebody came to them and said haha you've lost your child
[31:38]some of us could even report to that to the police but
[31:40]in that time they made sure that the second way they control
[31:46]the media absolute Free Speech you insult him there is no harm
[31:51]the insult became part of their media that this man's an after
[31:53]he has no lineage to continue the third method that they would
[32:00]use was what alter the facts about somebody or about a group
[32:03]of people if you alter the facts about them then the people
[32:09]grow up and the children grow up not knowing the truth about
[32:11]them yes what were the facts that they altered about the prophet
[32:16]that the prophet you know what he is he's a magician Muhammad
[32:18]is a magician how often do you see in the Quran that
[32:24]Words which are used which are related to magic either kahin or
[32:29]sahib you see those words in the Quran that sometimes they would
[32:33]call the prophet why because the third tactic the media will employ
[32:38]alter the facts about somebody at the end of the day most
[32:42]human beings are they really gonna check a Wikipedia article for its
[32:47]references or no reality is many of us are not going to
[32:49]check if now it says for example that there's a Wikipedia article
[32:52]about me and you see a line that's there you're not exactly
[32:57]gonna go and check the references in everywhere else the ease at
[33:01]which a media can control the third way they do it is
[33:06]altering the facts how do they do it with the Prophet by
[33:08]altering facts about him that Muhammad is a Sahar Muhammad Muhammad is
[33:16]a good one that if I can't get them to believe that
[33:20]he's a magician so what do we do spread the rumor that
[33:27]Muhammad is a Madman insane because if now you there is somebody
[33:29]who is a decent human being but you tell people the guy's
[33:34]a bit insane be careful about him someone who's a decent human
[33:37]being you go and tell people you know what a bit corrupt
[33:39]that person is not gonna verify are they today if people sat
[33:44]in a gathering again I'll give for example someone who sits on
[33:47]number saying you may not know the person but all you look
[33:52]for as a human is one person to tell you something when
[33:54]that person says to you for example he's so and so and
[33:58]so and so you are not going to go and verify with
[34:02]them what would they do Muhammad majnu Muhammad Muhammad when they did
[34:08]all of this the media of their time taught us three lessons
[34:11]when you see a society where there is absolute freedom of speech
[34:17]with the media and you see a society which can alter the
[34:21]facts and you see a society where there is fear-mongering then that
[34:25]is abuse of the media not use of the media yes that's
[34:29]abuse of the media the media can be used positively the question
[34:33]arises is how did rasulullah reply back to that media bandwagon because
[34:40]ultimately if the media is instilling fear in the people and the
[34:45]media is altering the facts and the media is at the same
[34:51]time making sure that it comes towards the level of absolute Free
[34:54]Speech what was his response to the media because today I see
[34:58]the media saying about us that we are ex and we are
[35:03]why and we are said when the media says all of this
[35:07]about it what does the media mean by that how do I
[35:09]reply let's see how the prophets replied very interesting has many lessons
[35:16]for us Muslims today the first reply which the prophet gave when
[35:20]the media were having a bandwagon against him what was the first
[35:25]reply silenced sometimes when the media attacks you'd always have to reply
[35:32]there are times where silence is the best reply yes when sometimes
[35:35]they would attack him you'll always hear Muslims saying that we should
[35:38]stand up we should defend ourselves no there are times where why
[35:41]should I stand up why should I make a statement clarifying My
[35:45]Religion all the time to you there are times where the Prophet
[35:49]would literally see what the Quran would teach him and what would
[35:55]the Quran say the Quran would say that when the jail speaks
[35:58]to you say peace to them yes if now I have a
[36:03]jahil in the media attacking the religion of Islam I can either
[36:06]go against that back and forth Salama when the peace when the
[36:15]child speaks to me there is a time where the Prophet number
[36:18]one would you watch sometimes he would not reply you're calling me
[36:22]aptar I've just lost my baby you what you want me to
[36:26]do you want me to reply straight away to no no I'll
[36:30]sit back in silence let it burn you you are clearly insecure
[36:33]about what you believe so you keep attacking me insecurity when you
[36:38]see someone arrogant it's that insecurity has overtaken them one time the
[36:42]prophet taught us the Muslims when the media is attacking us Non-Stop
[36:46]the first lesson there are times don't just reply straight away haphazardly
[36:52]sit back sit back a little bit sometimes these things die down
[36:56]other times they want you to be in a match back and
[37:01]forth they want you to be in reply that's number one number
[37:04]two sometimes the prophet would say no he'd say if there are
[37:07]some people of the media who want to interview you yes and
[37:11]they want to talk to you sometimes you should hear them out
[37:14]so that they hear you out as well sometimes if the local
[37:18]news comes to us and says that we want to talk with
[37:22]you and we want to discuss something with you you should be
[37:25]involved in some sort of exchange one of the most beautiful verses
[37:28]which by the way comes after one of the most violent verses
[37:33]that the media uses you know the most violent verse in the
[37:38]Quran that the media uses a Surah 9 verse 5.
[37:39]as you know Surah 9 is the only Surah in the Quran
[37:43]that doesn't begin with it's a Surah that is a damning Surah
[37:47]there is literally it's literally the Surah is tabara you know it's
[37:52]called it's pure dissociation God's like you know what I'm merciful for
[37:58]130 in surahs but there's one there's no Rahman so likewise in
[38:01]your life 113 times in your life show as much kindness but
[38:05]there should also be a bit of tabara at times so the
[38:09]holy prophets in Surah 9 verse number five that verse is a
[38:14]verse what does it say kill the disbelievers wherever you see them
[38:17]it's a very harsh verse and the verse that the media picks
[38:18]on but verse number six turns around and says and if any
[38:32]of the Muslims however come to talk to you and seek for
[38:38]example to have protection from you then protect them and talk to
[38:42]them until they hear the words of Allah sometimes I maintain a
[38:47]silence there are times if Lester the local TV station asks to
[38:51]speak to us there are times it's good that we interact with
[38:56]the TV it's good if I interact with a tabloid or a
[38:58]broadsheet someone says yeah but you know that tabloid they're anti-islam okay
[39:03]so what do I do do I sit back and not talk
[39:06]to them while I live in their society say for example The
[39:11]Daily Mail is often seen as a very right-wing newspaper do we
[39:14]agree Daily Mail see the extremely right wing if the Daily Mail
[39:18]comes to talk to me I have one option I could say
[39:22]look Allah tells me that you know what don't talk to the
[39:28]media but then the Sierra also talks tells me that some of
[39:31]your staunchest enemies in the media those are enemies of yours in
[39:35]the media sometimes if they come to you because you know what
[39:38]this Ayah was about though storage who are going to meet the
[39:41]prophet for the first time in their lives they were staunch enemies
[39:46]of his because of the media the media had said to some
[39:49]of these people you join Muhammad will kill you the media had
[39:52]said to some of these people Muhammad's a madman and a sorcerer
[39:55]the media has said to everybody there free speech you want to
[39:59]insult him and sell these companions now for the first time they're
[40:02]gonna meet him Quran said yes at that time what are we
[40:18]talking we're talking those who are staunching their opposition to rasulullah and
[40:24]Lester today there might be some none but they are friends with
[40:29]us yes there might be Hindus and Sikhs unless they're today but
[40:32]they're good with us in that time there were the mushriks all
[40:37]they had seen Muhammad Muhammad evil Muhammad the worst rasul Allah what
[40:41]did he do the Quran told him what to do Quran said
[40:43]they come and talk to you talk to them why not they
[40:48]want to ask you a question about women in Islam maybe they
[40:53]don't know what your opinion is they want to ask you about
[40:56]Christianity and what your opinion is of Jesus they want to ask
[41:01]you about inheritance they want to ask you about Justice no problem
[41:05]open up to them talk to them engage in dialogue that was
[41:08]the second thing he would do if if the media was coming
[41:12]towards him the third thing he would do was he would get
[41:15]involved with his local community and not separate from his local community
[41:19]what do I mean there's no way I'm going to change the
[41:22]media if I'm only going to be hanging around this mosque and
[41:26]not welcoming people from outside true otherwise I'll give you an example
[41:31]I come here to listen to recite lectures I come here for
[41:33]12 nights to recite I ask all of you how many of
[41:37]you have bought a non-muslim friend with you to a lecture that
[41:39]will tell you where we are in the state of Islam in
[41:43]the media how many of you have bought a non-muslim friend with
[41:46]you to a lecture one non-muslim friend all of you may go
[41:50]football matches with them you may go to university with them you
[41:56]may chill with them why don't you bring them to the mosque
[41:59]to listen to a lecture you can certainly chat other things with
[42:04]them in life why not lecture someone might say well said Ahmad
[42:06]I don't know what the Topic's gonna be so I don't know
[42:10]whether it's going to be acceptable or not there are ways in
[42:12]which you can contact you may say that I want to bring
[42:15]a Muslim friend which Knight do you think is their best I
[42:17]might not reveal to you what my topic is but I'll say
[42:21]to you listen this night that night bring a non-muslim friend why
[42:24]do I say that how am I going to change the perception
[42:27]please if you don't mind my brother Muhammad no more no more
[42:34]no more recording please God bless you thank you so much it's
[42:36]okay it's okay yeah God bless you thank you Muhammad allowed us
[42:49]for the love of father if you don't mind opened up as
[43:01]the Quran told him to talk to the Christians talk to the
[43:06]Jews look at us today in the Shia World preaching to the
[43:11]converted for how long do you give me a journalist that Muharram
[43:14]to the same faces same phases so what's the role here I
[43:18]have come to Leicester not met the mayor of Leicester again I've
[43:21]come to Leicester I'm not and I'm not talking Leicester I'm giving
[43:26]as a hypothetical there is a mawlana residing in Toronto now I
[43:29]bet you he hasn't met the mayor of Toronto no no not
[43:32]me just same faces they already believe in what you believe they
[43:37]just want either for you to reinstate in them what they believe
[43:43]so they feel good about themselves that is the state of shiasm
[43:47]the reality is that if I could not bring a Muslim friend
[43:52]to a lecture it says a lot about me it says a
[43:53]lot about the mosque and it says that Muslims don't complain about
[43:57]the media you're half the problem the media in many cases they
[44:03]only know that there's a Muslim Community the very close-knit other Muslim
[44:08]Community willing to be open only when we have a charity day
[44:10]we might bring the odd Muslim friend or something why not in
[44:13]Muharram why are they not open to the lessons of Imam why
[44:18]do they not know about Imam al-hussein and his lessons in life
[44:24]I've seen churches in South Africa and churches in America I've seen
[44:30]Muslims sit in the Church sermon Muslims sit in the sermon of
[44:37]the church preacher why because Christianity knew that it had to integrate
[44:42]it had to open up it couldn't be the Christianity of old
[44:45]my way or the highway which led to the enlightenment some people
[44:49]live in the religion therefore the Quran told the prophet to tell
[44:53]them say to the people who come let us talk about the
[45:02]things we have in common with each other if I distance myself
[45:08]away from the media then what's going to end up happening because
[45:10]the next question arises which is what the next question is everything
[45:14]the media says about Islam is wrong it's 100 wrong no it's
[45:19]not why is it wrong there are things which the media exaggerates
[45:22]about Muslims that there's no doubt when there is a terrorist if
[45:26]he is Muslim it's called Muslim terrorists if he is white Christian
[45:32]they'll say white American Terrorist why do you say Christian why for
[45:38]the white you don't say Christian but for the Muslim you will
[45:41]say Muslim terrorists number one number two if Muslims you associate with
[45:49]terrorism because one Muslim does something so we have seen Christian groups
[45:54]throughout history who have been Terror in the people's eyes but no
[45:59]one mentioned them as Christian people mention them white supremacists isn't that
[46:04]true you look at the Ku Klux Klan I ask you the
[46:09]symbol of the Ku Klux Klan what is one of the symbols
[46:11]of the Ku Klux Klan one of the symbols not all one
[46:15]of the symbols is a cross and do they burn that cross
[46:22]yes when the Ku Klux Klan does something in for example the
[46:25]Midwest or the south of America when it does do you hear
[46:30]people saying Christians terrorists no when a Muslim does something automatically it's
[46:35]Muslim terrorist the IRA for example the IRA many of you here
[46:39]would have been privy to what the IRA and their back and
[46:43]forth in the 70s and the 80s especially the IRA people when
[46:46]you say Irish terrorists they used to attack the IRA by saying
[46:53]that these are Irish terrorists we know very well that the IRA
[46:57]against the Ulster unionists is Catholic Protestant do we agree Alpha Ira
[47:03]Catholic Protestant why then on the one hand yes Muslims are portrayed
[47:08]negatively I could not deny that but on the other hand yes
[47:13]there are certain things which the Muslims do which leave the worst
[47:17]of image how many times the imams would say the imams would
[47:29]say be a source of adornment for us not a source of
[47:36]Shame for us make the people love us don't make the people
[47:38]hate us I agree that's when it comes to for example extremism
[47:42]that there are some Muslims who are portrayed in the worst way
[47:46]but we do have extremist elements in the Muslim Community you cannot
[47:49]deny that there are elements in the Muslim communities you could see
[47:51]them on YouTube right now I'm saying right now I'm not saying
[47:56]years ago right now on YouTube there are elements of the Muslim
[47:59]Community enslave you girls on Sharia law you owe you apostates we
[48:06]will kill you apostates if it was medieval times sure now on
[48:09]YouTube these are Muslims blatant on YouTube by the way blatant and
[48:16]you see the beard Masha Allah and saying that you know what
[48:19]you are an apostate okay the person's an apostate he has left
[48:21]Islam that's his choice no but you we would kill him in
[48:27]medieval Europe well we're not in medieval Europe it's 2022 if you
[48:31]haven't noticed and if you want to live by those laws even
[48:33]Saudi Arabia and other Islamic States even they've begun to reassess the
[48:38]application of those laws do you agree the rulers of some of
[48:44]those countries have begun to reassess the application but sadly you'll find
[48:48]that these types of people exist they're there they're on YouTube so
[48:51]on the one hand if the people are scared of Islam I
[48:55]cannot blame them when these are now the spokesman of Islam on
[48:58]the other hand you hear stories of grooming cases grooming girls where
[49:05]they are groomed at a young age by a certain group of
[49:09]Muslims someone says yeah but they're the worst example of Muslims no
[49:13]no they are still Muslims and they groom and always in certain
[49:17]areas the same groups who groom these girls and you look at
[49:22]the names Masha Allah it's a list of the 124 000 prophets
[49:25]of Allah yes brother nav and Dav and Javan zav and each
[49:31]one of these is what Suleiman and one of them is Ibrahim
[49:33]and his haq and Ahmed and they're grooming these girls why are
[49:38]they doing all of this Allah only Allah knows what is it
[49:43]that the media has said to them is there a pressure to
[49:45]conform but they are Muslim at the end of the day if
[49:48]you look at some of the biggest drug dealers that we have
[49:51]in the UK some of them are in pockets of Muslim communities
[49:57]Wallah they go to Dubai captured in the airport's immigration drug dealer
[50:03]a specimenee name another list of prophets of Allah Masha Allah they're
[50:10]named after yes drug dealers in London drug dealers in the north
[50:15]of England drugs blatant and you'll see him at Jamaica the persons
[50:21]on the front row of Salah and the same person is the
[50:26]one exporting and importing drugs therefore if the media attacks yes there
[50:30]is a bias in the media that exists but at the same
[50:35]time we as Muslims have to ask ourselves that's why is it
[50:38]that we've reached the stage you cannot just entirely blame the media
[50:42]for everything that's going on that's on one side on the other
[50:48]side there's no doubt that controlling our families and their usages of
[50:53]the media is not easy at all that's difficult to say the
[50:56]least because now you find that our kids are literally addicted to
[51:01]the media Wallah there are certain apps I don't think I don't
[51:05]think the app is educational I think the app is just pure
[51:09]nudity some of these apps to tell you the truth you look
[51:11]at an app like Tick Tock for example the kids already from
[51:17]a young age are attracted to these apps these apps like Tick
[51:20]Tock someone said no no I'm just going into this I just
[51:24]want to see what people's stories are subhanallah how open the media
[51:30]has become with these apps that literally the child is hypersexualized at
[51:35]a young age already hypersexualized at a young age so images that
[51:40]many of us were not privy to 20 30 years ago until
[51:45]we were way past adolescence now it's normal for them with these
[51:49]apps now boys and girls can be together at any time that
[51:55]they want Instagram very normal and you look at the words they
[51:58]use the word subhanallah I'll never forget to do any of you
[52:03]seen I think it was on Netflix there was the social dilemma
[52:05]I think it was called about how they program the apps and
[52:10]the media psychologically to reach you and have an effect on you
[52:15]to the level and I don't know anyone who's experienced this when
[52:19]you think of something a video literally comes up of that thing
[52:24]on your videos you think you just thought about it and it's
[52:27]come up I see on Instagram and Facebook they use particular words
[52:32]for your interaction slide poke particular words words which psychologically are guiding
[52:41]you towards a direction what does a Muslim parent do in this
[52:46]case does a Muslim parent look at this situation and do they
[52:50]remove all access of their children to their Media or no it's
[52:52]an extremely difficult one this case to tell you the truth because
[52:58]the reality is we could easily end up losing our children in
[53:02]this situation because our children want to look at social media the
[53:06]parents now have to be more aware of Parental restrictions on these
[53:14]apps than ever before Wallah before there used to be privacy settings
[53:19]correct privacy settings would ensure that there are certain things they cannot
[53:24]watch today the privacy settings are still there but the kids have
[53:27]access to certain things that their parents have never heard of there
[53:31]are certain ways to get into Apps there are even networks which
[53:37]are virtual and private and you look at the kids Wallah in
[53:42]my day you were just about getting 35 if I remember some
[53:44]of the things and shows really how old I am but the
[53:48]max that we were going on to in reality was the internet
[53:51]and we were using the internet today you move on to this
[53:56]app and that app and they would they'll show you how to
[53:58]play the games on these apps with this in mind therefore what
[54:03]do we do we push them away and say you cannot play
[54:05]on these no our social media is like a knife it can
[54:11]either cut an orange or it can kill a human there are
[54:16]positive usages of that social media but there are negative usages as
[54:20]well but what we need to do is we need to begin
[54:26]to instill alternatives for our children what do I mean by that
[54:30]do you know in Islamic media what's the most expensive area of
[54:36]Islamic media magellis no it's easy you just stick me up there
[54:39]for example or you stick another mawlana up there you've got cameras
[54:42]and so on it might cost five grand six grand for cameras
[54:47]and this and that that's not that expensive what's the most expensive
[54:51]media in Islamic Media or one may argue generally in Media children's
[54:58]programs children's content do you know to have children's content on Islamic
[55:04]videos are they me any Islamic television channel and I'll show you
[55:09]how much it costs go and ask them I want to have
[55:14]children's production because you see for example I saw recently the famous
[55:20]Arabic went into the world of children's Noha went into the world
[55:30]of children's Noha went into the world of children's Noha those children
[55:39]nohas or children Productions using the media those can sometimes cost 300
[55:46]to 400 000 pounds of production because the children's media it's very
[55:53]difficult for you to produce that media without big investment but the
[55:59]reality is that we may have to go towards that direction where
[56:02]a person begins to invest in social media voila there is a
[56:06]a a a like a YouTube video which keeps babies quiet I
[56:12]think it's about a shark well I forgot the name but it
[56:17]was I saw my nephew and you he used to be like
[56:21]a zombie looking at it baby shark all it is baby shark
[56:26]baby shark shark baby shark and it just keeps repeating but if
[56:30]it's keeping the kid quiet then let them stay quiet where is
[56:37]the Muslim to produce something similar but which is a bit more
[56:41]guidance than the wonderful thought of swimming with a shark yes even
[56:45]if you think about it psychologically who in their life psychologically is
[56:50]like I'd love to bring up my babies to swim with a
[56:56]shark one day be deranged but look subhanallah it sells billions I
[57:02]ask in the Muslim media how much potential we have all of
[57:06]you and I will come to this point so the Shia voice
[57:11]yes normally What Muslim media was crying no crying typical preach to
[57:19]the converted no vision of outside rasulullah look at his vision talk
[57:25]to the outside Baba welcome the outside your media could not just
[57:28]be for those who believe in what you believe have programs that
[57:32]the people from outside you saw the Shia voice Shia voice first
[57:36]element of media in the 21st century fun religion Fun Bob is
[57:42]allowed in Islam you can smile it's not Haram I said once
[57:47]over there I said Wallah and the Roger Community sometimes I don't
[57:49]know if it's a will I don't know honestly you're sitting the
[57:55]same routine the only thing that differs maybe is the one some
[57:58]will sell a budget comes at the end Kebab that's the only
[58:03]difference otherwise no one's smiling no one then suddenly on she avoids
[58:07]you so wow Muslims smile have you ever known the effect of
[58:15]having a fun show which non-muslims can watch you know Shan and
[58:19]rizwan may God bless them shine and rizwan's teacher at school who's
[58:24]not a Muslim had followed their progress on the Shia voice now
[58:29]this when it reaches me this particular story at the end of
[58:33]the day I have not checked the it's not of the story
[58:35]I must admit but someone told me this that the teacher even
[58:41]in the pub when he heard the two of them were in
[58:44]the final he told all his mates that these are my two
[58:49]students and apparently he's asked that everyone watches it at that moment
[58:52]suddenly Everyone's Watching shine and resign because their mate is their teacher
[58:56]I had somebody who has done Productions Wallah for Channel 4 and
[59:00]has done productions for the outlets they said that when they saw
[59:06]the Shia voice they were Amazed by the level that it had
[59:08]reached for once we had gone to number one fun number two
[59:14]big investment in the past how would we do Shia voice competition
[59:17]in the Imam Barker cheap but it's something worth doing now we
[59:23]thought let's go and spend a quarter of a million pounds 258
[59:27]000 pounds was spent on the Shia voice and I still know
[59:33]until today there are people who enjoyed it with their families for
[59:35]a month they did not give one penny when there was a
[59:40]donation asked another problem when you don't invest back into the media
[59:44]then you're not going to change anything the media you'll always see
[59:47]every channel has one big man who's the main donor of that
[59:50]channel who wants to set the stage but you saw the Shia
[59:55]avoid the effect it had voila there are families whose kids were
[59:58]on the verge of atheism who now are on the verge of
[60:02]memorizing more soras of Quran in the past the Shia Community thought
[60:07]Quran was what I go to the madrasa I study the Quran
[60:13]I learn the Quran suddenly we heard and we started to hear
[60:19]that there's this melody and that Melody and you're like hold on
[60:22]a minute where did all that come from because we went into
[60:26]the media we done something which had good money invested and it
[60:33]was fun it was fun the world that our kids live in
[60:36]today why are they addicted to the social media app because it's
[60:41]fun you want to bring people back to magalies or same route
[60:44]I know people classically conditioned because of majalis always hell burning your
[60:51]Cafe going to hell burning grave hell some of their kids have
[60:56]not come back to the mosque would you come back Christianity why
[61:00]did it have to change its image in the media Christianity why
[61:03]did it change its image because Christianity used to be an Irish
[61:08]priest who told you you're going to burn in hell but unless
[61:10]you confess people start saying which hell which heaven when and so
[61:13]on and so forth now when a person moves to fund religion
[61:19]that's religion has a balance between that which is serious and there
[61:23]are times you can find rasulullah himself he used to always be
[61:26]someone who Smiles someone says how about Shia a media in another
[61:32]Direction and that is if we're being affected theologically this very important
[61:36]point that sometimes we have people online who are doing a lot
[61:40]of good work on YouTube channels but are receiving no support whatsoever
[61:43]because you know on YouTube there's a war there's a war where
[61:50]the followers are being attacked where our books are being exposed which
[61:53]isn't a problem by the way it's cool you want to expose
[61:55]my books there's no problem whatsoever but we need more investment on
[62:00]YouTube because our kids what do they do they'll type in something
[62:06]like is it true Imam Ali I'm good father is it true
[62:15]that the prophet said that even if my daughter Fatima stole then
[62:21]I would even cut her hand is it true that the prophet
[62:26]said that even I cannot save you Fatima from the fire of
[62:34]hell someone says why'd you give those examples because the Umayyads controlled
[62:38]the media by their attack with those examples how do you think
[62:44]the umayyad stayed in power for that long stayed in power for
[62:46]four years in his life four years because Imam Ali's media was
[62:53]not built on things such as altering facts or fear-mongering mola didn't
[62:58]even mind you have free speech no problem but not altering facts
[63:03]principles remain principles and I will not instill fear in anyone you
[63:07]agree with me you agree you disagree with me disagree oh my
[63:12]ears no oh my it's media same as the quraish why the
[63:14]Apple doesn't fall far from the tree abusafian's son now is in
[63:20]charge of the media what was his vision same vision as his
[63:23]dad with the media his dad's Vision was the media was always
[63:26]What Fear manga all the facts absolute freedom of speech absolute freedom
[63:33]of speech what do you do with that absolute freedom of speech
[63:37]you allow pulpits that curse every Friday absolute freedom the same way
[63:42]that man and his friends were cursing rasool Allah then controlling the
[63:47]media that man was doing this number two you make sure that
[63:52]you are the one who instills fear in the people who disagree
[63:55]with your media machine anyone who disagreed with more awiyah and his
[64:00]henchmen those people were killed or executed very normally that was number
[64:05]two but number three you alter facts and that's how you control
[64:11]the media I ask you all a question 30 000 people at
[64:13]Carabella thirty thousand who are turned up some from kufa some from
[64:22]sham the media must have been really powerful for them to alter
[64:25]the facts against the people who they were killing isn't that true
[64:30]that media machine you want to learn about media learn about its
[64:35]devastating effect for more awiya and the Umayyads who was the henchman
[64:38]you see farahon Abu sufyan had Abu jahil who's henchman they had
[64:47]a few but amongst them as the Umayyads built their government amongst
[64:55]those henchmen by one side Ziad or even Ziad another remember died
[65:03]a couple of years before karbala yes so he already was a
[65:10]favorite of the umaids another of them some of you may have
[65:14]heard of Muhammad is one of the most famous Scholars of Hadith
[65:18]he was born a couple of years before karbala he became the
[65:24]one of the most devastating in the media campaign against he was
[65:33]a favorite of the umayyas the um we need one man learned
[65:38]but who's willing to sell his for his Dunya that's all you
[65:44]need someone who's willing to sell his Dunya his principles completely gone
[65:47]you know when you look at the store the picture of Palestine
[65:50]you know whenever you see a picture of Palestine do you guys
[65:55]always know it's that big gold Dome mosque yes when you look
[65:58]a picture of Jerusalem sometimes people think menstrual oxide is the one
[66:03]with the big Dome the gold Dome no it's not the one
[66:06]with the massive gold Dome that's one with the big gold Dome
[66:12]they called it the Dome of the Rock yeah that Dome of
[66:14]the Rock goes back to who when Abdel Malik bin Marwan Khalifa
[66:21]Abdel Malik did not want to take the people of the umaids
[66:27]towards mecca for Hajj doesn't want to go for Hajj now what
[66:33]do I do what do I do I don't want to go
[66:34]to Hajj because it's controlled by the zubairids so what should I
[66:39]do where's the sorry sorry come here make a Hadith for me
[66:41]that we can do Hajj in Jerusalem fabricated a Hadith for him
[66:49]to do Hajj in Jerusalem when he went to Jerusalem he built
[66:52]a mosque in honor of those people who have gone it was
[66:56]known as The Dome of the Rock masha'allah oh my it's in
[66:59]the heart of Jerusalem their legacy is still there the Dome of
[67:04]the Rock wonderfully sits there that was their legacy of the umaids
[67:08]why I don't want to do hajan Mecca make Hadi from you
[67:12]in charge of my media Department that's how powerful the media is
[67:16]you know which Hadith Zori made to insult because the media didn't
[67:22]just insult Muhammad it's insulted Al Muhammad one by one until it
[67:26]got to karbala first one you insult the prophets first one second
[67:33]one first one is until today by the way they called these
[67:38]uh hadiths you see how powerful the media is that a thousand
[67:41]four hundred years later on Fridays hadiths are still quoted a part
[67:45]of me whoever angers or angers me we all says it someone
[67:52]says you know what by the way it's also inside I'm like
[67:57]yeah yeah but who's it about they're like oh I know who
[68:00]it's about it's probably about those who oppressed father no it's about
[68:06]Imam alien father Imam Ali angering foreign why does it have to
[68:15]be someone else daughter you have to admit it's a great story
[68:34]now I know you'll always have someone online will always say yeah
[68:39]but say it's also an album who said our books are from
[68:41]Jannah Allah sent on Earth even our books have nonsense sometimes within
[68:44]them as well but you found here that Imam Ali went behind
[68:49]Zara found out like any random lady finds out that their man's
[68:55]gone behind her back and she went with a tantrum to the
[68:57]prophet and the prophet got up and he said I announced everyone
[69:02]come and everyone came and he said it's not for me to
[69:05]make that which is but no one thing that my daughter Fatima
[69:09]is a part of me and whoever angers me and whoever angers
[69:13]me angers Allah ah media um stuck for 1 400 years until
[69:27]today secondly another Hadith this someone had stolen from an Arab tribe
[69:31]A lady had stolen can you not find someone to intercede for
[69:36]her this lady who's stolen he said although Osama had put himself
[69:43]forward even if my daughter fat mama steals I'll cut her hands
[69:46]really foreign I remember someone who defended who defended those who attacked
[70:05]the door of Fatima Zahara you know what his defense was he's
[70:11]a non-share you know what his defense was this man threatening to
[70:14]burn her house it's just a threat it's a threat like the
[70:20]prophet threatened to that he would cut bibi's hand he didn't likewise
[70:24]the man who threatened to burn her house just a threat he
[70:28]wouldn't actually do it it's just a threat hey it's not normal
[70:30]for a man to just tell me outside my house I'm gonna
[70:34]burn it normally I'll call the police yes number two how dare
[70:39]you say rasulullah would say and even if my daughter Fatima Stone
[70:42]I'll cut her hand further than that another Hadith sorry again the
[70:46]machine of media put someone in there hire him Zori again what
[70:52]does he do again so what he comes forward I cannot help
[70:56]you and I cannot help so and so and I cannot help
[71:01]so and so from the fight of hell and even my daughter
[71:02]Fatima I can help you with wealth but saving you from hell
[71:08]even I cannot help you how how why because the umaids made
[71:16]sure control the media you can control Society that's father though my
[71:21]kids control the media with salaam that's when he died in his
[71:28]sujood and kuffa and people heard the people in sham were like
[71:32]does he pray does he pray what level of control of the
[71:39]media that a man like who was born where Qibla is ends
[71:46]up being a man who does he pray the power of the
[71:48]media number two number three the third attack they had on the
[71:55]media that was the third attack habitual divorcer all he does is
[72:01]all he does is divorce Imam doesn't stop divorcing doesn't stop divorcing
[72:07]the omahi had started that with their media machine that's Imam Hassan
[72:11]is a divorcee he gets ladies divorces them gets ladies divorces them
[72:15]gets ladies and divorces them that continued from normal years to the
[72:19]Abbas it's more than the um the abbasids had a ferocious campaign
[72:23]against Imam al-hasan with their media they wanted to put Imam al-hasan
[72:31]down as much as they could why someone asked why would the
[72:34]abbasids hate Imam al-hasan so much the my heads hated his dad
[72:40]why would the abbasids hate Imam al-hassan so much because the abbasids
[72:45]found Imam al-hassan's grandsons were troubled not just Imam al-husseins you look
[72:50]at the main enemies of the abbasids they are the grandsons of
[72:53]Muhammad Hassan someone asked the question how could he have grandsons his
[72:59]sons all died in Carabella no they did not no Imam Al
[73:02]Hassan seven sons were present in Carabella one of them according to
[73:07]some narrations even two but one survived Carabella which one survived karbala
[73:15]his name was Hassan was injured in Carabella he continued with Bibi
[73:24]and the rest towards kufa and towards sham until some mentioned some
[73:28]mention that he managed married his cousin now when we say married
[73:34]his cousin let me make something very clear to all of you
[73:38]and that is Imam Al Hussain his daughters are all called Fatima
[73:44]these are all titles not names the girl herself would be called
[73:52]Fatima originally but they may give them an attribute so when it
[73:58]says his cousin that could be if suken is a bit older
[74:01]then if they are too separate we don't need to go into
[74:06]all of these intricacies in history of the sons of Imam al-hasan
[74:12]he survived his grandsons became a thorn for the umaids a major
[74:16]Thorn for the umaids but for the abbasids especially and others who
[74:21]stood up against the abbasids the Abbas had said you stand up
[74:24]against us we'll ruin your grandfather's reputation which grandfather they started with
[74:31]Abu Talib they were hated Abu Talib with a passion the abbasids
[74:34]because they are from the line of Abbas Uncle of rasulullah and
[74:41]Imam the most assets were the ones who pushed this and they
[74:54]hated Imam al-hassan they would spread rumors Imam Hassan married 250 ladies
[74:58]and divorced them all answers all you who believe when an evil
[75:08]person comes to you with news verify the news and toce and
[75:11]you'll end up saying a nation is ignorant and then you'll regret
[75:15]what you've said yes there were non-shia who by the way years
[75:22]later would regret these Hadith they would realize years later that how
[75:26]could someone say the grandson of rasulullah is a habitual divorcee when
[75:31]his grandfather is the one who said the worst of the halals
[75:33]is divorce when his grandfather is the one who said that divorce
[75:36]shakes the Ash and he would do it 200 and even humanly
[75:40]is it possible to even marry 200 let us alone divorce 200.
[75:43]that's another debate for another day therefore they tried to remove Imam
[75:46]al-hassan's name could they remove Imam al-hassan's name no they could not
[75:54]why because one son survived and lived to tell the tale and
[75:58]the other sons became Inspirations for us all in this world no
[76:01]doubt the other sons became Inspirations for us all you look on
[76:08]the plains of karbala two of his sons stand out the first
[76:11]one who stands out is the son of his by the name
[76:17]of Abdullah this son was sitting with his auntie zainab on the
[76:20]afternoon of the 10th of Muharram he was sitting with his auntie
[76:27]zainab on the afternoon of the 10th of Muharram Imam was lying
[76:31]on the earth while he was lying on the earth of Carabella
[76:35]the arrows had already been on the body of Imam al-hussein and
[76:41]the Rocks had already been thrown on his head and he was
[76:45]just lying there talking to his Lord um he said to him
[76:53]I want you to shoot him on his chest once and for
[76:58]all Imam was just lying there suddenly he ran out of the
[77:09]tent his auntie zainab calling come back and he kept on going
[77:15]and she said come back and he said how can I come
[77:19]back and my uncle lies on the Earth in this way you
[77:22]know what he did he literally sat in front of his uncle's
[77:25]body he literally sat in front yes and he just sat there
[77:34]in front of his uncle's body why because the training from home
[77:38]was a training that if your uncle is alone on the plains
[77:43]of Carabella I expect you to be with him if he was
[77:46]amazing highlighted to all of us the meaning of loyalty he came
[77:53]to his uncle his uncle would look in his eyes he'd only
[77:58]see Imam Al Hassan in front of him yes and he'd say
[78:00]to him my nephew go back go back towards the tents of
[78:06]the ladies when he returned his mother saw him said why have
[78:09]you returned he said my uncle said to me to return and
[78:14]I submit to whatever my uncle wants that she went towards saying
[78:18]she said to us mother has given him away you've been given
[78:27]away your own and Muhammad allow me to give my boy away
[78:31]but why don't you she said to her because said no she
[78:37]said leave him to me then Zayna walked to Imam for saying
[78:43]she said I want to ask you something he said tell me
[78:45]she said to him do you remember when Abbas came out in
[78:49]the Battle of Safina he said yes I do she said do
[78:53]you remember how proud our father was on that on that day
[78:56]yeah she said yes sir she said then I wanted to see
[79:02]you proud of the son of our elder brother zainab always had
[79:08]a way to get trouble he came out towards the opposition he
[79:13]went out on the battlefield there every time someone would come towards
[79:21]him he'd attack him man he was there he'd keep turning to
[79:24]his uncle Imam Al Hussain whenever he'd strike anyone he would have
[79:28]a smile towards his uncle yes sir he would always try his
[79:35]hardest to look towards his uncles until one of them came and
[79:39]attacked him and suddenly the soldiers began to treat their swords on
[79:45]his body he called out [Applause] coming towards Hussein running out of
[79:57]the tent imagine the scene a man came running out of the
[80:00]tent until he sat by the body of his nephew the seed
[80:06]is a seed that brings our hearts every year upon listen to
[80:12]the words next to his nephew it hurts your anaconda and that
[80:19]you call him but he cannot help you [Applause] where's my cousin
[80:33]where is he if that's what's okay in a thought then what
[80:40]did classen's Mother think the scene was a difficult one why because
[80:43]he was returned into the Thames glaston's mother there Akbar was returned
[80:49]to the 10th yes when Akbar was returned back to the tent
[80:52]his mother was there zainab was there zainab saw the two of
[80:59]them they wanted to cry but say that was there only one
[81:02]saying about the name of left both of them fell on their
[81:10]son's body one calling out one earlier and the other calling out
[81:15]and saying I'm calling out [Applause] foreign [Applause] [Music] again foreign [Music]
