[1:19]respected Scholars brothers and sisters is is translated in English as the

[1:33]party of God ultimately each and every one of us in this

[1:40]Hall and whoever is listening around the world seeks to be amongst

[1:43]the party of Allah subhanahu wa taala every Muslim in the world

[1:50]today seeks to be a member of the party of Allah subhah

[1:53]wa ta'ala naturally that is the ultimate aim for each and every

[1:57]one of us because we know that the opposite is dangerous a

[2:02]person can either be a member of the party of God or

[2:04]a person could be a member of the party of Shan hence

[2:09]in the Quran Allah subhah waala talks about and talks about have

[2:18]their characteristics andan have their characteristics a Muslim may be a member

[2:25]of a Muslim may be a member ofan someone says no surely

[2:34]a member ofan is only a non-muslim a person who for example

[2:38]has rejected the of the holy prophet peace be upon him and

[2:43]his family he is from or someone who has put Partners to

[2:47]Allah subhah wa taala he is from but sometimes the Muslim May

[2:56]slip into knowingly or unknowingly as in there may be someone today

[3:31]but the way they interact their conduct their respect their morality might

[3:36]be of someone who is a member of the party of Allah

[3:42]how do I know if I'm a member of the party of

[3:44]Allah or a member of the party of Shan ultimately when I

[3:50]come for aalis M the aim is for them to not just

[3:55]transform me but to be a mirror for me today if someone

[3:56]asks me do you want to be a member of the party

[4:01]of Allah or the party of Shan you'll find that I'll straight

[4:04]away say I want to be a member of the party of

[4:08]Allah but how do I know that my characteristics are a member

[4:13]or are the characteristics of a member of the party of Allah

[4:17]because a person may have lived their whole life in the as

[4:21]a member of the party of Allah and can slip at any

[4:24]second to become a member of the party of Shan how many

[4:29]of us may have lived lives which are religious and one weak

[4:32]moment took us to the party of shaan but then also a

[4:38]person may be a member of the party of Shan their whole

[4:41]life and then one moment may make them a member of the

[4:46]party of Allah and that's why one important formula to understand is

[4:52]that the door for membership for the party of Allah is never

[4:57]closed but that the door for membership of the party of Shan

[5:00]is never closed Shan's door is open for everybody to join the

[5:08]members Club Shan does not reject anyone if you are not religious

[6:08]them from being a member of the party of Allah no not

[6:55]closed for anyone that even if in your last moments you may

[6:57]be a member of the worst of people Allah's door for you

[7:02]to join the membership of the party of Allah is always open

[7:06]and that's why the word is a word which unfortunately has not

[7:12]been dissected with the depth it deserves if you ask many Muslims

[7:15]in the world today have you heard of the word they will

[7:20]say to you yes if you ask them in the Quran where

[7:23]isah mentioned many will not be able to tell you even those

[7:27]people who have some decent knowledge of the Quran cannot show you

[7:33]where in the Quran Allah mentions likewise in the Quran Allah mentions

[7:39]in the life of IM Hussein on ash day he mentioned and

[7:50]mentioned and how important therefore within the lives of him is the

[8:03]mentioning of andan if you ask many of the sh today where

[8:09]isan and mentioned in the of Z you'll find that many will

[9:56]member of the party of Allah one needs theed the no and

[10:02]the of how does the Quran also highlight that a member of

[10:09]is somebody who even if his family or his tribe are against

[10:13]Allah and his messenger he will never be alongside them for he

[10:20]will even stand with Allah and his messenger even if it means

[10:23]he loses his most beloved how does IM Hussein highlight that carala

[10:33]was versus and finally how did one man in particular on the

[10:36]10th of muharam find himself moving from to in one moment of

[10:44]Toba let's examine this and dissect the topic in complete depth am

[10:48]I a member of the party of Allah or the party of

[10:54]Shan the answer is quite easy when one looks at the criteria

[10:57]for being a member of the party of Shan then you can

[11:01]look at that criteria and ask yourself whether it applies to you

[11:55]intoxicants gamblings a gambling and the games of chance all of these

[12:02]are part of the impurities of Shan therefore stay away from them

[12:10]today what is one of the signs of the ofan is the

[12:12]person who either smokes that which intoxicates them or injects themselves with

[12:19]that which intoxicates them or drinks that which intoxicates them does that

[12:24]apply to non-muslims only non-muslims drink yes non-muslims take drugs but Muslims

[12:32]never drink and take drugs mashallah yes today you might find somebody

[12:36]who is a believer in Allah and his Prophet biggest drug dealer

[12:41]in town W sometimes there are parts of this country where the

[12:45]biggest drug dealers you look at their names you see the name

[12:47]you think you're seeing a Ruster of the people around you see

[12:55]that that drug dealer that person he thinks that for example is

[13:01]enough for him to show his loyalty to Allah or that Salah

[13:05]is enough for him to show his loyalty to Allah or coming

[13:09]to is enough for him to show look I am part of

[13:15]the of allahr said that the first sign of the of Shan

[13:19]members is that they are those who Shan has drawn in with

[13:26]alcohol and with the intoxicants how many do you see now outside

[15:00]then therefore that which covers is known as that which covers even

[15:07]that person who smokes that which is Haram he may love IM

[15:19]body you are either yesah would never touch that which is Haram

[15:26]and touching that which is Haram is what how many do you

[15:31]see they are the wealthiest of the lovers of IM Hussein they

[15:35]drink alcohol if he's on first class or business class on a

[15:40]nice flight he'll drink even if it means the odd drink to

[15:42]finish a big deal off he'll drink but mashallah he donates to

[15:48]the Imam par what a clever business I got to take lessons

[15:51]with this guy cuz this guy he's mastered sin laundering what sin

[15:55]laundering how do I wash my how do I wash my my

[15:59]sins you guys need a donation I'll give you any donation the

[16:04]amount that I've drunk this year what donation do you need I

[18:22]than what you are doing Quran said you want to see the

[18:31]impurities of Shan the first members of that are the ones who've

[18:34]got this that's number one number two the second members of the

[18:37]party of Shan are those who love seeing FNA and fight in

[18:43]their people oh they top class members you know some memberships he

[18:48]doesn't tell you silver or black card tells you Platinum yes the

[22:57]Allah wow you think I'm going to do what I asked you

[23:00]not to do to expose someone I'm saying to you that a

[23:07]member ofan protects the faults of his fellow sh not exposes The

[23:55]is when a person is arrogant to someone one chosen by Allah

[24:00]yes the third criteria of the part of Shan is when there's

[24:05]someone chosen by Allah they arrogant towards him Shan what did he

[24:09]do to Adam Adam's chosen by Allah Shan what did he do

[24:12]he turned around and he said very clearly very arrogantly as the

[24:16]Quran said Allah said do to ad in one moment in one

[24:30]moment went from toan he formed his own membership party yes was

[24:35]how many years of Salah have you prayed for you to be

[24:40]called a mmin some of you 20 some 30 some 15 some

[24:44]of us 26 31 Shan only had 6,000 years of Salah not

[24:46]too bad I'm sure you'll agree Shan was firmly but there's a

[24:53]problem if Shan has arrogance towards someone chosen by Allah automatically that

[25:01]person becomes and Allah gave that Hint by the way Allah gave

[25:05]it to the companions of on many occasions that whatever you do

[25:09]do not show your pride or rudeness to me or those chosen

[25:14]by Allah how many times the Quran was telling them that even

[25:19]though you're around me can enter your heart how many times the

[25:30]Quran said to them oh you who believe and those oh you

[25:32]who believe verses are very interesting why because they're literally telling the

[25:36]Muslim you who claim to believe do not raise your voice above

[25:42]the voice ofas why because it's a test as to whether you

[28:44]given him charity so that man had pleaded to Allah subhana wa

[28:52]am in the land of Medina and I ask you to answer

[28:54]my Dua he says that the Ayah was revealed Your Guardian is

[29:04]Allah and his messenger and those who believe but it can't be

[29:13]anyone who believes there's got to be a specific criteria those who

[29:26]establish Salah and they give Zak while they are in he says

[30:58]atas the Ayah said Islam is not complete without this man as

[31:02]well that otherwise the Ayah could have just said Allah is your

[31:07]will Muhammad is your Allah is your will the prophet is your

[31:10]will Allah is your will the messenger no but the Ayah said

[31:22]Your Guardian if you want to be a member of the party

[31:28]of Allah has to all always be Allah the prophet and the

[31:33]man who gave away zakat while he was in and then the

[31:37]next verse people normally when they come to this verse they stop

[31:40]at 5:55 they never move on to the next one the next

[31:45]one is as important as this one and the one who takes

[31:53]Allah as his guardian and his messenger Islam doesn't stop with Shah

[31:59]there's three shahad always yes those who take Allah as the we

[32:07]and his messenger and those who believe those who believe could also

[32:12]indicate him and his sons not just him yes and those who

[32:14][Music] believe for surely the party of Allah are the Victorious ones

[32:26]therefore in the Quran what was the main criteria for being a

[32:30]member of that you are the one who takes Allah as your

[32:37]guardian as your guardian and im as your guardian that was the

[32:44]criteria of a person wants to be a member ofah obviously I

[32:49]have to look in the Quran where does Allah talk about how

[32:52]ironic that in the Ayah that talks about the will of alali

[33:00]Allah talks about the word in that Ayah otherwise Allah could have

[33:03]easily used for belief in muham every Muslim now in the world

[33:08]would have been a member of no the Victorious party of Allah

[33:14]are the ones who do not forget the man who gave away

[33:16]his ring in his completes and is what spread on this Earth

[33:24]without those three you canot have completion prophets before this when M

[33:35]Allah and Moses no we believe in Allah and the prophet and

[34:18]they make a stand firmly against those people what do we mean

[34:21]in the Quran the second usage ofah someone asks you is in

[34:28]the Quran say yes twice where's the first one Surah 5:55 and

[34:32]56 where's the second one Surah 58 verse 22 of the Quran

[34:41]Allah subhana wa taala says something wonderful in this verse one of

[34:46]the most beautiful verses I personally have been inspired from in the

[34:51]Quran where Allah makes clear that when a person has a stand

[34:55]against even if his family are MERS MERS of that person I'll

[35:02]give him don't worry you don't have to get into his heart

[35:08]I will be the one who will enter his heart and we

[35:10]all know very well that the heart of the mmin is the

[35:15]Throne of Allah subhana wa taala yes therefore what does the Ayah

[35:19]say the Ayah says you will never see a group of people

[35:35]who believe in Allah and his messenger show affection for those who

[35:39]believe in Allah and the day of judgment show affection for those

[35:44]who oppose Allah and his messenger even if it may be even

[35:54]if it's their father even if it's their sons even even if

[36:00]it's their brothers even if it's their tribe they will never show

[36:04]affection to people even if their family members or tribe members if

[36:09]they oppose Allah and his messenger that was a criteria why it
