[2:07]jackal munaruna Cardona shadow and Nicola Rasool Allah Imam asada alayhis-salam lived
[2:17]under the Abbasid Empire as well as the Umayyad Empire the Abbasid
[2:23]Empire is one of the most important empires in the history of
[2:27]the religion of Islam you will find that anyone who is a
[2:35]student of Islamic studies will have to study an empire that lasted
[2:40]for over 500 years Imam asada alayhis-salam had witnessed the rise of
[2:48]the Abbasid Empire and the Abbasid Revolution and indeed you find that
[2:53]this Empire in Western circles is always viewed as a golden Empire
[2:59]the age of the Abbasids is always spoken of as a golden
[3:02]age in Islamic history as well as non Islamic history you'll find
[3:10]that certain historians will always look at the house of wisdom and
[3:14]the libraries as well as the literature that was translated in what
[3:18]was always seen as a golden period for when it comes to
[3:21]Islamic history there are biases as well as the far permits are
[3:28]normally spoken of gloriously in terms of the rise of literature and
[3:32]learning and wisdom as well as the translation of texts from other
[3:37]languages in the Islamic world but you found that this ambassador Empire
[3:45]was also an empire that was one of the most oppressive empires
[3:47]in the history of the religion of Islam because when the Abbasids
[3:52]overtook the Umayyads they overtook them in the most brutal way sadly
[3:57]you find many Muslims haven't got a clue about the Abbasid revolution
[4:04]and what they did to the Umayyads because if you ask many
[4:07]Muslims to give you for example the first hundred and fifty years
[4:10]of Islamic history they are mentioned for example the Prophet peace be
[4:15]upon him and his family they'll mention the four caliphs they'll mention
[4:18]the Umayyads the downfall of the Umayyads and the Abbasids when you
[4:25]ask them what's exactly did Emma Masada alehissalaam see when the abbasids
[4:28]overtook the Umayyads you find that many of them do not know
[4:32]what happened when the Abbasids overtook the Umayyads the biases as we
[4:38]know were the descendants of a bus the uncle of rasulallah salallahu
[4:41]alaihe wa the holy prophet peace be upon his family had a
[4:45]number of uncles many of you know for example of hamza and
[4:50]others of you for example will know of Abu Lahab then you
[4:53]had Abu Talib and Abbas the sons of a battalion were of
[4:58]course the Imams of elevates allah jalla wa salamu alayh him and
[5:02]the sons of abbas continued for example in the lineage of Abdullah
[5:09]in a bus I mean a bus who we always see as
[5:13]a narrator and a scholar of tradition maybe a bus had sons
[5:17]such as for example Ilene Ali had a son by the name
[5:21]of Muhammad and therefore you see that lineage was the ambassador lineage
[5:25]Abu Talib's lineage of course is the lineage that continues with Imam
[5:29]Ali Ali said ah Imam Hassan Imam Hussein and the true come
[5:32]together around the time of Imam Espada alehissalaam we know very well
[5:36]that the Abbasid were an oppressive group the Daiya bastards in some
[5:43]cases were the most arrogant of leaders but their relationship with imam
[5:46]as-sadiq becomes an important one why not only are they cousins but
[5:53]also at the same time the Abbasids made their banner related to
[5:58]watch imam as-sadiq alayhis-salam stood for in which way they made their
[6:04]banner first and foremost that our banner is a banner that seeks
[6:09]to ensure that kitab Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet and
[6:17]the authority of the family is what comes back to the Islamic
[6:20]environment because many people had noticed that the Umayyads had oppressed the
[6:25]prophetic household so they knew that if we put a banner out
[6:28]there that we are rising against the Umayyads to ensure that we
[6:34]return back to watch to the Book of Allah and we return
[6:39]back to the sunnah of rasulallah salallahu alaihe wa ali so in
[6:42]other words it gives the legitimacy that we're not doing it for
[6:44]ourselves we're doing it for the Quran and the Sunnah because if
[6:51]someone rises in a revolution if they only mention their name people
[6:54]are gonna say that's for your own motives whereas if you mention
[6:57]the kitab and the Sunnah then people will say yes this is
[7:01]something that we want to join what was the third part of
[7:05]the slogan of the Abbasids in the time of Messiah that authority
[7:08]returns back to the family of the Prophet at the same time
[7:15]they said that this is a banner where we call for authority
[7:18]for the river of al Muhammad the river of al Muhammad was
[7:24]what meant that the one who everyone was pleased with a particular
[7:28]title that they used who everyone would gather around on the first
[7:32]level a question arises if the Muslims wanted to give authority at
[7:39]that stage after the Umayyads had fallen through the prophetic household why
[7:42]didn't we just give it in the first place on the day
[7:46]of God here why did we end up having all these skirmishes
[7:51]at the end of the day the Prophet peace be upon him
[7:53]and his family before he died on the day of God here
[7:56]that the same way prophethood has been given true the family of
[8:04]Abraham likewise Authority after me is given to my family you found
[8:08]that only a hundred and twenty-five odd years after the Prophet died
[8:12]people who are killing each other saying that authority should go back
[8:16]to who to the family of the Prophet we could have solved
[8:21]that whole issue one hundred and twenty years earlier had we stuck
[8:24]with Imam Ali alehissalaam then we would have solved that whole issue
[8:27]even now when we talk of Imam al-mahdi ask any Muslim when
[8:32]they talk about Imam in Madrid Allah for Allah Sharif they'll say
[8:35]one group will say he's from the descendants of imam al hassan
[8:39]another will say he's from the descendants of Imam al-hussein ultimately what
[8:43]does it all go back to it goes back to one reality
[8:45]what is that reality the reality being that's authority at the end
[8:51]we'll go back to the household of the Prophet peace be upon
[8:53]him and his family but there are biases in overtaking the Umayyads
[8:57]a question is asked why did Imam asada to not take power
[9:02]if they are saying that we want the power to return -
[9:05]who - the prophet's household why did Imam asada not take power
[9:12]when the Abbasids got into power why did Imam Asad Ali Salim
[9:17]not rise against the masses if we say that Imam Asad Ali
[9:20]sallam lived for at least 10 years of the Halawa of al-mansour
[9:28]and lived during the caliber of a Safa why is it then
[9:31]that we find within homicide and alayhis salaam that he never rose
[9:34]against the Abbasids if we say that for example the Abbasid dynasty
[9:40]including people like a sapphire and in Mansoor adoani a Imam Assad
[9:43]was alongside them in the sense that he was living at the
[9:46]same time as them why did in homicide of alaysalam not raise
[9:51]an army against them why is it that again we see Imam
[9:56]asada alayhis-salam like in the case of the Umayyads he doesn't raise
[10:00]an army he sees aid his uncle raised an army he doesn't
[10:03]raise one against all my aides he sees yeah yeah bin zaid
[10:07]a few years later raised an army against the Umayyads he doesn't
[10:11]join in again now a question arises that Oh Iman if been
[10:17]on a bus are the same as been on my year or
[10:17]worse than many on my year why is it the true that
[10:21]Imam do not rise if you are meant to be the successor
[10:26]of Imam al-hussein alayhis-salam and we are meant to be following the
[10:29]Hosseini men hedge we don't see Imam asada supporting those who rose
[10:36]against many Omega and today all of our modulus are aunty many
[10:39]oh my year and when it comes to been on a bus
[10:44]again a question arises why did Imam Sadiq watch the revolution of
[10:47]many a bus and not take power when the slogan was that
[10:54]the power should return to Allah I met and then on top
[10:56]of that when he saw the crimes that were committed by elements
[10:59]war and others why did Imam Assad not rise with others who
[11:05]rose at that time let's examine this in depth in order that
[11:11]we understand Mr Mossad that's relationship with the Ambassador revolution with his
[11:18]own cousins and why Imam asada alayhis-salam did not rise against the
[11:23]abbasids and I'd like to do this in the following stages number
[11:26]one if Islam is a religion of peace then how does it
[11:32]have brutal revolutions like the Abbasids when they butchered the Umayyads number
[11:39]two what was the role of the leadership of the Abbasids and
[11:43]how did they ensure that anyone who came in their way was
[11:49]removed number three when the abbasids captured the wives of the Umayyads
[11:54]and the children of the Umayyads and the governors of the Umayyads
[11:57]what did they do and how did one of the Abbasids have
[12:03]a meal on the body of the Umayyad he just killed number
[12:05]four why did imam sadiq alehissalaam not take the leadership when everybody
[12:11]was coming around him such as Abu Salim Al Hilal and others
[12:15]number five did Imam Assad of witness the Abbasids corruption if he
[12:21]did then surely if we are told that if we witness injustice
[12:25]we must speak why did Imam Asad Ali Salaam not just not
[12:30]speak but not rise against the Abbasids of the time further than
[12:36]that were there any family members of imam as-sadiq who rose and
[12:39]what did he think of their rising and how did one of
[12:44]them stabbed imam asada because he never rose against the Abbasids and
[12:48]finally how does he mom Assad of maybe highlight that she a
[12:52]political thought after Caravela dictates that there will only be one man
[12:57]who will be the one who brings complete justice let's examine this
[13:00]and dissect the topic in depth many of us when we go
[13:05]to schools or colleges or universities or indeed in the media love
[13:08]to tell everybody that Islam is the religion of peace this is
[13:13]a slogan that everyone uses they'll always try and say that the
[13:16]word Islam comes from the word Salam and Salam means peace and
[13:23]so our religion is a religion of peace our religion if it
[13:27]is practiced properly where a person truly and sincerely submits to allah
[13:32]subhana wa ta'ala and follows the teachings of al muhammad and their
[13:36]morals and their ethics and their spirituality can be a religion of
[13:42]peace a religion of peace in the sense that it can be
[13:44]a religion where people in that religion are peaceful to one another
[13:50]can live alongside one another whether they are Muslims or non-muslims yes
[13:53]if they have to defend themselves they're not gonna be pacifists they'll
[13:57]defend themselves but generally they can be peaceful but when you look
[14:02]at our history our history is full of blood and no more
[14:06]bloody a revolution would you see or as brutal as a revolution
[14:12]like when the Abbasids overthrew the Oh millions many oh my how
[14:17]powerful do we assume they are whenever when you read about all
[14:22]my years you always imagined that all my years are the most
[14:26]powerful the Abbasids tamed the Umayyads in a way which was unreal
[14:31]if the Umayyads thought that they could get away with what they
[14:36]did and the crimes that they had committed such as the cursing
[14:39]of imam ali on the pulp is such as for example the
[14:43]poisoning of imam hassan ali salam such as the killing beheading and
[14:47]capturing of imam hussain's family and the beheading of others and the
[14:53]continuous oppression the abbasids taught them a lesson they would never forget
[14:57]how a shaman Abdul Malik who we mentioned yesterday who was the
[15:00]one who ordered the killing of zade's when his sham bin Abdul
[15:05]Malik died his shaman Abdul Malik after him who came in well
[15:08]he'd been Yazeed after well administer who came in montes after monticello
[15:14]Marwan the son of my met the son of Marwan Abdel Hakim
[15:20]Marwan I'm lil Hakim his grandsons had great positions Marwan Abdel Hakim
[15:24]whose father al Hakim was one of the worst enemies of rasulallah
[15:28]salallahu alaihe wa ali ends up having his great grandsons ruling the
[15:34]last ruler of Benny Omaha who Imam Asad alehissalaam witnessed was called
[15:42]Marwan the son of Mohammed the son of Marwan people had begun
[15:46]to be tired of the Umayyads at the same time the Umayyads
[15:49]had their own internal struggles because if you're the king of a
[15:54]country and your own cousin doesn't like you you're gonna have trouble
[15:57]in your own palace forget the trouble outside of the palace of
[16:00]certain non Arabs who feel that they were racially looked down upon
[16:06]all the certain Mullaly who were frowned upon your own family members
[16:11]of their strife amongst them the no doubt you're gonna find yourself
[16:14]in difficulty at the same time who was smelling blood who was
[16:19]smelling not the grandsons of a bus the uncle of rasool allah
[16:25]saw la la la while a bus his grandsons great grandsons some
[16:28]of them were exiled in different areas the only it's had certain
[16:34]areas where they were extremely powerful where for example Damascus Palestine Egypt
[16:45]Jordan hoopha Khorasan it's for hun the Omega D firmly in power
[16:50]there of the great grandsons of the abbasids and remember the bastards
[16:54]are the cousins of who of the amounts of added weight of
[17:00]the grandsons was who was a grandson by the name of Mohammed
[17:03]son of Ali's son of Abdullah son of a bus he and
[17:08]others were living in different areas some were living in Kufa and
[17:13]others were living in Hawaii man Jimenez we're in Jordan they slowly
[17:18]underground begun a movement what was that movement they could see zaid
[17:23]bin Ali had tried to rise against the Umayyads was not successful
[17:30]they could see that yeah yeah the son of Zaid had tried
[17:32]to rise against the Umayyads not successful they were now smelling blood
[17:37]while smelling blood there were three brothers who came together and said
[17:43]let's slowly build an underground movement where our symbol is our black
[17:49]clothing we have black banners and will rise with this black banners
[17:58]and I was slogan is that authority and leadership has to go
[18:02]back to elevate solemn Salam when people heard this that authority goes
[18:06]back to a debate who do people think that they refer to
[18:10]they referred to for example Imam father the authority will go back
[18:13]and for the first time one may argue since Imam al hassan
[18:18]ali salam you would have a person who is both an imam
[18:20]and the khalifa so rather than him just being an imam but
[18:25]not having rule of the state he would be an imam and
[18:30]the khalifa so the word would be going around underground Muhammad the
[18:33]son of Ali the son of abdullah bin abbas what some don't
[18:39]say that we're leading who were there three there were three brothers
[18:43]who are leading the Abbasid movement one of them was a safar
[18:46]the other was a brahim the other was Abu Jafar al-mansour in
[18:50]Baghdad we have one of the richest areas cool al-mansour named after
[18:56]the leader of the Abbasid revolution who became the second khalifa of
[19:01]the Abbasids shows you masha'Allah why but dad has so much Baraka
[19:05]it should be proud of in all these years when you name
[19:10]an area after a person who eventually poisons imam asada alayhis-salam anyway
[19:16]these three Abu Jaffa and Mansour safar and Ibrahim they were the
[19:21]leaders of that movement they had true wing men on the right
[19:27]wing Abu Salim al hilal in Kufa on the left wing abu
[19:29]muslim and horus on e they knew that the Umayyads had certain
[19:36]places if you finished the Umayyads in those areas then slowly you
[19:40]begin to take over all their areas you start where start Khorasan
[19:46]it's fun Kufa capture those you then head where towards Syria the
[19:58]hub Damascus Palestine Jordan Egypt you'll capture all of them Marwan the
[20:04]son of Muhammad bin marwan was told that listen we're in trouble
[20:07]I saw my age so what isn't said that there is an
[20:12]underground movement of the descendants of a bus the uncle of rasulallah
[20:16]salallahu alaihe wa and they're also working with some of the descendants
[20:20]of imam al hassan like a person by the name of muhammad
[20:26]Neffs ezekiah they are coming all of them together these are all
[20:31]originally one may argue all of them are from the Beni hashem
[20:33]clan all of them are cousins of one another Muhammad Neffs ezekiah
[20:39]was told by an Mansour by Asafa by Ibrahim we're gonna pledge
[20:44]allegiance to you if we defeat the Umayyads don't worry and they
[20:50]want the same time also saying we want to give this to
[20:52]Imam Assad and you know when you play the game with leaders
[20:56]in government what do you do you say to him listen I'm
[20:57]gonna vote for you on the Election Day you go around the
[21:01]corner you say you know I've decided to vote for him but
[21:03]there's a good chance as well that I might vote for you
[21:05]if you give so and so and so and so the Abbasids
[21:10]all their slogan was was general we just want to give the
[21:13]authority back to the family of the Prophet we never said exactly
[21:16]who could be him could be us but we don't know but
[21:22]we just want to return back to the Book of Allah the
[21:26]Sunnah and I don't know what that says about the Umayyads and
[21:28]those who say another Allah and whom about the Umayyads if that
[21:30]bastards are saying that we want to return to the sooner so
[21:34]what I know Maya changed on this one now so what they
[21:38]did they started the movement Marwan the son of Muhammad bin marwan
[21:41]what did he do he said very well then we have to
[21:45]counter their movement where is their movement they said chairman horison he
[21:49]said then make sure that our governor and Khorasan has helped the
[21:53]governor and Horace on the Suleman say our hero to Marwan bin
[21:56]Muhammad I said listen I need as many troops as possible these
[22:01]people are coming from every angle they have a bow Muslim and
[22:05]Horus on arousing the troops over here and they have as well
[22:11]we're in Kufa abu salem al al al these two were doing
[22:13]a lot of the dog work for the Abbasids and i tell
[22:17]you the way they treated abu muslim el corazon he later on
[22:21]highlights to you what the ambassadors really are abu muslim Khorasan ii
[22:24]was raising a lot of the troops 20,000 troops that i bastards
[22:28]had Marwan bin muhammad he came forward the last khalifa of benny
[22:34]oh my yeah he came forward and when he came forward how
[22:37]many do you have he had 60,000 with him but he said
[22:42]bring a lot of money why cuz he thought if I've got
[22:43]a lot of money with me I could end up for example
[22:47]buying people out a lot of these soldiers you buy them out
[22:49]with the money literally he bought treasure chest after treasure chest they
[22:55]fought where they fought in horas on or towards Isfahan you found
[23:03]that when they fought what happened at the beginning Marwan said to
[23:06]his soldiers he said to them that listen don't go straight in
[23:10]but one of them well he'd been more alia the son of
[23:14]Hakam he went straight in when he went straight the war begun
[23:19]Marwin was not ready Marwan and around and he at that moment
[23:22]noticed that some of the soldiers were more interested in the money
[23:28]that he's bought so he asked his son make sure you go
[23:30]and fight those who are trying to take the money what did
[23:34]some of the Umayyad soldiers think that his son is running away
[23:39]from the battle so when you see someone as powerful as the
[23:41]son of the khalifa running backwards you don't know that he's going
[23:44]to fight those who are near the treasure chest so what did
[23:48]they do all of a sudden soldiers started fleeing everywhere the abbasids
[23:51]the moment they smelled blood they now had Horus on they had
[23:59]Isfahan from there they went towards Kufa and in Kufa they fought
[24:03]with abu salim el canal and all those soldiers they fought whichever
[24:09]of the Umayyad governors was there Marwan the son of Mohammed he
[24:13]escaped when he escaped of course the Empire the Umayyads had not
[24:18]fallen the transition between the Umayyads and the abbasids and the time
[24:22]of Imam Asad Ali Salaam you know you always say people who
[24:26]say a mama side of the reason he has narrated so many
[24:28]ideas and taught so much was because there was a change of
[24:33]revolution a change of government from the oh - to the buses
[24:34]there was a couple of years where there was intense fighting what
[24:38]Haman was when Marwan bin Mohammed escaped where did he go first
[24:45]he went towards Mosul thinking that if I told them I am
[24:48]the omayyad Khalifa the people of motion will wake welcomed me people
[24:51]of muslin said to him in a bit to you we don't
[24:55]want you here we want the family of the Prophet they are
[24:58]the ones who get Authority not you he thought let me go
[25:03]towards Haran I'll leave Mosul he went to Harlan they said no
[25:06]we heard that there is a banner that authority will finally go
[25:11]back to lmho al mohammed everyone's thinking Imam Assad and so they
[25:14]could be the one who gets no authority yes they don't know
[25:16]those guys are planning their own coop and their own scheme then
[25:23]he went where he went towards Damascus eventually from Damascus to Palestine
[25:30]from Palestine to Egypt he went to all these areas those soldiers
[25:33]of the abbasids what were they doing they were capturing area after
[25:37]area after area after area and you know when a government Falls
[25:41]which had oppressive people you go looking for each one of them
[25:46]to kill them don't you but even if you're gonna go and
[25:48]look for each one of them there is a certain ethic in
[25:51]what is to be done you cannot just go to any area
[25:54]and kill anybody because you think that that person was the one
[25:59]who was associated there has to be a court case if I
[26:03]now know that there's a whole area in Iraq for example that
[26:05]had boxey's who used to execute some of the Shia I could
[26:10]not go to the whole area and say because the people lived
[26:12]here I'm gonna Massacre the whole area you could not do that
[26:17]but what happened was when the Abbasids overthrew the Umayyads anyone who
[26:22]say is that Muslim empires were peaceful they highlighted they weren't peaceful
[26:26]and I tell you the first hundred and fifty years of Islam
[26:30]had some brutality someone might say to me say it now but
[26:32]you are a Muslim why are you attacking Islam your men to
[26:37]defend Islam I defend the principles of Islam and the Islam of
[26:40]the 12 Imams who followed the Holy Prophet peace be one family
[26:44]but the Islam of oh my ear and the Islam of the
[26:48]abbasids is far away from me the idea of putting heads on
[26:53]spears and parading them or capturing woman and whipping them and kicking
[26:58]them or killing babies or burning bodies or sitting on top of
[27:01]those bodies I don't care that's not my Islam nor is it
[27:07]the Islam that I want to follow only just above a hundred
[27:10]years over a hundred years had gone and you saw the Abbasids
[27:15]what did they do to the Umayyads wallah if the Umayyads thought
[27:17]that they was something that Basset said come here come here come
[27:20]here one by one firstly what did they do in Basra they
[27:27]fed the Umayyads to the dogs and Basra the Abbasids fed the
[27:31]Umayyads dogs imagine you've got these dogs on the loose you get
[27:36]a pit ball or you gets a Rottweiler or a Doberman who
[27:38]hasn't eaten for a week and you place in front of him
[27:42]a human being what's he gonna do to that human being a
[27:43]human becomes a shell what about that day as the natural man
[27:48]being will not survive and Basra they would get the Umayyads they
[27:50]place them in with they'd give them to the dogs to eat
[27:54]them in the school battle base we have no such thing a
[27:56]person who is our enemy you don't pick up a human being
[28:00]and throw him to a dog to eat him someone say but
[28:03]say in that this is Benny away yeah we must be allowed
[28:05]it doesn't matter who you are even if you are someone like
[28:09]Mata attakathi there is still a question mark as to what is
[28:13]space and what's not what's acceptable and what's not they took the
[28:17]Umayyads there were dogs there they would give the Umayyads to the
[28:22]dogs the dogs would rip up the Umayyads that was where in
[28:24]Basra and - but they tried to get Damascus as quick as
[28:28]they could but the taisiya of the Hodges and the Yemeni had
[28:34]their own skirmishes in Damascus eventually the Abbasid went to Damascus 50,000
[28:37]massacred in Damascus Damascus has a history I don't know if anyone
[28:43]ever smiled in Damascus in all honesty when I think of Damascus
[28:44]all I think of is from the beginning there's been oppression at
[28:47]the end there's tortured Damascus has a history which leaves a lot
[28:54]to be desired then what else they looked for the wives of
[28:58]the old omega2 Halawa imagine someone's wife is Sascha and Ben Abdul
[29:04]Malik had died they looked for the wife of hassan bin abdul
[29:09]malik they found her made her go barefoot on the streets took
[29:12]her to the desert burnt her why because you're the wives of
[29:17]and oh my god Khalifa and who was this these are the
[29:20]ones known as a safar imagine islamic history has a Shiley fad
[29:27]that we're proud of known as Asif Asif what is this a
[29:31]literally someone shall cut you up into pieces bloodthirsty and they tell
[29:36]me Isis is surprising what that's not surprising then what you have
[29:40]so you have here that they took her shaman Abdel Mannix wives
[29:44]took her to the desert and they burnt her what else more
[29:47]owie as grave they went in they found whatever they found burnt
[29:50]it they went to Abdul Malik bin marwan's grave whatever they found
[29:53]I burnt it imagine for us even this is not acceptable there
[29:57]is a grave there you don't open the grave and end up
[29:59]burning suppose it would say in there there are certain traditions we
[30:05]get these traditions at the end of the day think about it
[30:07]yourself you don't go and open a grave take our bodies and
[30:12]start burning people from which language from which culture from which intellect
[30:17]does someone do this then further than that you found that for
[30:23]example Abdullah the son of muhammad bin ali bin abdullah bin Abbas
[30:27]he came and he said that there are certain governors I want
[30:31]to capture but I haven't captured them so they said some what
[30:34]you wanna do he said if you can invite them for a
[30:38]meal at my house now these are my eight governors you know
[30:42]like how the bathia when they fell they were always wondering every
[30:46]meal they went to they're wondering is this our last meal what's
[30:49]happening you know how the Mafia tell you you're gonna be called
[30:52]in and when you're called in by the Mafia that could either
[30:55]be a promotion or a bullets at the back of the head
[30:57]when the abbasids called the Umayyads in they called them in and
[31:03]they said to them that look we want to have a meal
[31:04]with you 92 governors of the Umayyad sitting having a meal all
[31:09]of a sudden from behind each one of them their heads were
[31:12]chopped off okay you chop that person's head off no problem but
[31:14]do you sit on his body and have a meal yet you
[31:20]tell me what history Islam has that the ones who came into
[31:26]what was later on known as the Golden Age of Islam buzz
[31:29]the Golden Age of Baghdad age of literature look at the way
[31:36]they came in look at the brutality of course it's a golden
[31:39]age for someone who has no relation to the religion but for
[31:43]someone within the religion in my homicide as Ali said I'm with
[31:45]this isn't his own eyes Benny oh man yeah Benny Abbas no
[31:49]difference if not many of us were worse than many of my
[31:55]year he's killed 92 and then sits and has a meal on
[32:00]their bodies imagine that's the level of brutality that was reached after
[32:04]that what did they do after that they when looking for Marwan
[32:09]that last omayyad Khalifa they went looking for him they found him
[32:12]in Egypt and they killed him oh my dear therefore only one
[32:17]of them survived he was the one who established the Umayyads in
[32:21]nan de los abdur-rahman a dozen the rest of them they were
[32:25]butchered were cut into pieces were fed to the dogs now you
[32:32]imagine that group of people are the ones who are telling you
[32:37]we want to give authority to elevate re wa salaam so when
[32:40]they said that everyone's thinking hold on a minute but some of
[32:43]your mannerism is not what we expect from a lil bait this
[32:48]is not what i'll arrest would do imam ali mammal has a
[32:50]memo saying that is not their behavior in other words they use
[32:55]that slogan to deceive the people they entered with that slogan knowing
[33:00]everyone every Muslim has a sentimentality to a lil bait so they
[33:03]thought you don't want if that's our political slogan it's like someone
[33:07]comes in with a political slogan today more employment less taxes what
[33:11]does everyone think when they hear those slogans before that person in
[33:16]the moment comes yes more employment in 16 years time and less
[33:20]taxes yes less taxes for the rich not for the poor many
[33:26]our bus is slogan that they used was a slogan what was
[33:28]the intention of the slogan the intention of that slogan was a
[33:34]slogan simply to deceive even-handedness is akia who they had told that
[33:40]don't worry when we get into power we're pledging allegiance to you
[33:43]turn around and said you know what which allegiance to you forget
[33:46]allegiance to you and that's what LED lights are on with hamburgers
[33:49]ezekiah trying to rise against these Abbasids now a question arises here
[33:57]that imam asada alehissalaam was he approached by them yes he was
[34:01]approached someone asked an imam why didn't you become the leader why
[34:06]didn't you become Khalifa you Imam Zaman saying and Abedini Marmol box
[34:10]on imam sadiq you saw Benny Oh Maya we all hated Benny
[34:15]oh my ear Benny all may have now fallen why didn't you
[34:18]accept them telling you that you are our leader Imam knew very
[34:23]well these people had no intention of making me leader these people
[34:30]were only using my name the reality is he told one of
[34:32]them that even you who think that when you become leader your
[34:37]sons will inherit you I guarantee you your own brother will be
[34:39]the one who kills your own sons because if a group of
[34:44]people come into power by giving you two dogs do you trust
[34:46]those people if a group of people come into power by burning
[34:51]bodies do you trust them when they say we promise that we
[34:54]want to pledge allegiance to you that's why in L Caffey there
[34:57]is an amazing discussion this discussion is one of the most amazing
[35:01]political discussions you'll ever see and wallah the lessons from it are
[35:06]amazing if ever you want to see Imam Asad alayhis-salam the way
[35:11]he viewed the world look at this discussion in lkv Sharif what
[35:19]happened Sudhir a sigh Rafi companion of imam middle of the night
[35:25]comes to the house of imam Asad up he's wrapped up according
[35:29]to another narration he's wrapped up his face is wrapped up knocks
[35:33]at the door of the imam middle of the night when he
[35:36]knocks at the door of the imam in the middle of the
[35:42]night imam answers when imam answers saggier says that i have come
[35:46]to you you should not be sitting you should be standing seizing
[35:51]power someone like you who has a hundred thousand supporters if imam
[36:01]ali alaihe salam your grandfather had that many followers and supporters then
[36:07]tami man ID would not have been able to transgress against him
[36:11]you have a hundred thousand no you have two hundred thousand and
[36:15]here is a letter from Abu Salim Al Hilal who was Abu
[36:20]Salim Al Hilal he was the one who was the right wing
[36:25]man we could say for the Abbasids here is the letter from
[36:27]Abu Salim Al Hilal Imam had taken the letter according to one
[36:31]narration and burn the letter passes baffled he said Bob this is
[36:35]a letter saying that you are the one who should seize the
[36:40]power a mom new above Salomon Helen has no interest in seeing
[36:43]the Imam get to power but a mom looks at the person
[36:47]he said how many supporters do I have he said a hundred
[36:48]thousand want to support you you are the leader a mom said
[36:55]hundred thousand said no even two hundred thousand want to support you
[36:59]you are our Imam and you should be our hanifa a mom
[37:05]looked at him and he said to him do you have time
[37:11]on your hands he said yes he said you come with me
[37:14]to young boy yeah sure I said okay he said I'll ride
[37:22]the donkey you ride the mule the saddled mule and I'll ride
[37:25]the donkey which seemingly did not have a saddle the pastor said
[37:32]to him hey maja you are the one you are the one
[37:37]who has to be sitting on the mule for the mule has
[37:39]the saddle and it's more comfortable the imam zein ranch I mean
[37:42]he said no he said you sit on the mule how sits
[37:47]on the donkey for this donkey is friendlier to me they started
[37:52]their journey Sudhir what does he mention he says that's when we
[37:57]reached a certain area we were about to pray but the ground
[38:03]was true marshy so then we continued a bit more until we
[38:06]got to a certain area Imam said let's get down here and
[38:11]pray there was a young boy looking after the goats he looked
[38:16]at me and he said to me outside here a layer of
[38:23]him if I had the number of followers same as the number
[38:28]of goats that he looks after over here then it would be
[38:35]obligatory on me to seize power Sudhir says I turned around I
[38:38]counted the number of followers there were a number of goats there
[38:43]were only 17 Imam Assad had highlight that you tell me I
[38:49]have a hundred thousand she are supporters I have two hundred thousand
[38:52]you really think I have that many who are that loyal to
[38:58]me on the contrary Oh said year the number of goats that
[39:01]are being herded over there by that young boy I don't even
[39:06]have if I had that many then it would be obligatory this
[39:09]is fundamental point this is a huge point why because even Imam
[39:13]Ali alayhis-salam once a tyfa happened how many came to imam ali
[39:19]and said Molalla rise this is your leadership it is not their
[39:24]leadership imam ali said okay all of you have come how many
[39:26]of you a few hundred of you tomorrow outside my house tomorrow
[39:29]morning you come with your head shaved there was a few hundred
[39:34]of them who had said imam ali imam ali we are with
[39:37]you you are the one who should have power I said okay
[39:39]no problem tomorrow they've done what they've done is a kafir tomorrow
[39:42]you come and you meet me but what your heads have to
[39:48]me completely shaved now you'd think that's all of them are saying
[39:50]I'm shy I'm shy I'm shy mom and your bravest I'll be
[39:53]alongside Imam Ali I'll give my life away tree mom I need
[39:55]Salam how many turned up the next morning five five imam al-hussein
[40:01]alayhis-salam how many said she was like what love we're with you
[40:05]you ain't gonna fight caramel now we're gonna be alongside you how
[40:08]many turned up 72 a mummified acolytes and the person selling in
[40:12]Molalla a hundred thousand are with you only mom two hundred thousand
[40:19]are with you these are biases will rise it's your power and
[40:22]he said you see that byung boy with the goats if we
[40:26]had that many it would be why Jim on meteorites obligatory but
[40:31]I have to rise the person said I counted the goats wala
[40:35]there was only 17 in another narration he says if I had
[40:37]the same number of soldiers as the Prophet had in better only
[40:42]313 how many hundreds of thousands of Muslims were around at the
[40:46]time and him I was sorry Alison turn around said if I
[40:51]had just that many then I promise you I could not sit
[40:53]down and watch because how can I tell the people that's when
[40:58]you see an oppressive Rula or corrupt ruler you have to rise
[41:02]but I'm sitting but I don't have those who are loyal to
[41:08]me later on someone comes to him he says to me Mom
[41:13]we are ready to rise with you because Mansour adoani tree became
[41:18]Khalifa I basically for 136 after hijra mi Messiah died 148 after
[41:23]hijra Mansour and Dawa neatly when he became can even known for
[41:28]his oppressive way is known for his arrogance known for his sin
[41:33]genus shirley imam asada cannot sit down one of the shia of
[41:35]the imam this story is a story i'm sure many of you
[41:38]have heard but it's one of the most visual stories and i
[41:39]want each one of you my dear brothers and sisters I want
[41:43]you to relate this story to your 12th Imam if he asked
[41:46]you to do the same thing I was not living in the
[41:49]time of Imam asada but I called myself a Jafari I want
[41:53]to ask all of you if this happened with the 12th Imam
[41:56]what would you do a person from horizon-- comes from outside of
[42:00]he says Mona where with you why don't you rise against the
[42:05]Abbasids why are you watching them you watch the Umayyads you didn't
[42:07]do anything about it the Abbasids you could have taken power you
[42:13]could have been both Imam and Khalifa person the Imam looked at
[42:17]him he said to him light the furnace you know sometimes you
[42:20]have a 10 or attend or or you have you know like
[42:26]that big oven they bake bread in for example sometimes and he
[42:32]said light it light the furnace please the person said ok para
[42:36]blitzes he said ok go inside you go inside so what I
[42:48]said go inside you just lit a furnace now go inside I'm
[42:52]your Imam you tell me that you're with me I'm asking you
[42:56]to do this go inside you can imagine this guy's face probably
[43:00]became hotter than the furnace he looked at the a man huh
[43:05]who was walking past her own Mickey her own Mickey was walking
[43:09]past a mom said her own is that yes he said you
[43:11]see that furnace is that yes mr.
[43:16]Cohen he went straight inside a mom then looked at bus he
[43:19]goes yes son for a son that person is looking he's thinking
[43:23]hold on me did I just see someone jump inside the burning
[43:29]flames i blatantly just saw that but I've got in my Mossad
[43:35]hasn't even lost you school it's just like yeah so you've told
[43:39]me coming we want to fight and we want to rise you
[43:40]see always let's fight and let's dress okay no problem and tell
[43:45]me more about Corazon you don't stand there was this person or
[43:49]something where's he gone many Mama's startups like oh you're asking my
[43:56]him is that yes he said my room is like yes as
[44:00]I come out now come out exactly what the same look absolutely
[44:05]stunning is like in my life apart from Nebbia brahim Holly Salaam
[44:09]I've never heard anyone who gets away with what who gets away
[44:15]with so at that moment what happened he looked at him home
[44:20]side of mom's father looked at him what did a mama side
[44:25]exam you keep on telling me we're loyal to you will rise
[44:28]with you we will be there for you I asked you to
[44:33]do one thing you thought a hundred times about it harumaki did
[44:40]not know that the fire was lit in that furnace but your
[44:44]life's a train was going did he know did he not know
[44:50]no but when Jeff Aris father says to you do something you
[44:54]submit wholeheartedly I see you and you thought a hundred times how
[44:59]could I trust you when I'm fighting if I had seventeen how
[45:06]many seventeen no that was in the previous if I had five
[45:10]like hardwood Mickey I would be my responsibility to rise at this
[45:18]moment imagine Imam Assad made it clear that you're telling me that
[45:21]I should cease power where are those who claim to be my
[45:23]Shia there are many who are we want to see authority back
[45:31]with al mohammed i know that this safar has no intention of
[45:33]giving me leadership and I know that that Mansour Doheny hates me
[45:37]and he has conned others telling them that authority goes back to
[45:44]Alan Bates we are innovative noble one we are imagine we are
[45:48]the ones who protect the message of rasulallah salallahu alaihe wa ala
[45:52]and yet those have come in and that's why even Imam Sadiq
[45:55]who gave him the most trouble believe you me his own cousins
[46:00]gave him the most trouble has sent Ben Ali lf+ one of
[46:03]the grandsons of Imam al-ghazali Salam Hamed Neffs is Zakia responsible according
[46:08]to some for the imprisonment of Amana side of why Imam is
[46:14]telling them don't trust these Abbasids I'm telling you these are Bassets
[46:19]they're claiming that they're gonna give you authority they won't Hamid necessary
[46:23]a foot but no the three brothers ibrahim in Asafa and Mansour
[46:27]all promised they all said that there will be a pledge of
[46:29]allegiance towards us and they all promised that it would come back
[46:34]to us is that they want this famine f-secure decides that I'm
[46:36]gonna up rise against them some circles they used to call him
[46:39]the Maddy and that's why some Shia it's called as differ as
[46:43]to whether this was why am i AMA Sadiq was unhappy with
[46:47]him - in Zakia for he was calling himself the Maddy knowing
[46:50]that there were traditions about the Maddy being from the family of
[46:55]rasulallah salallahu alaihe wa the bus has got him what you're trying
[46:58]to mess with us they killed him he had said to them
[47:01]what you said to me I'm gonna be Khalifa no we changed
[47:03]our minds finished how imam as-sadiq was proved don't trust me these
[47:07]will come back to stab you abu muslim and Khorasan he worked
[47:10]his socks off for the masses one day he disagreed with them
[47:15]they took his him they killed him through his body into the
[47:17]Tigris River so what so what do you work for us therefore
[47:21]what was a bomb Assad is highlighting Imam Assad was highlighting that
[47:25]I could rise if I have those who are loyal who would
[47:30]not stab me in the back then I could rise and if
[47:33]I also see that there is an ability to develop the state
[47:37]then I will rise seemingly at the same time something else emerges
[47:42]what is it that's seemingly at the same time that was the
[47:48]period when Imam asada al-islam begins to talk more and more that
[47:51]maybe it's not us Imams who are the ones who will rise
[47:54]this is an important concept why because after Carmela the question was
[47:59]asked imam zain al-abideen widen your eyes mrl bastard why do you
[48:05]rise imam asada won in your eyes maybe because the Imam has
[48:08]begun to talk of the fact that there will be the Madi
[48:13]a general a furniture Sherif the time of Al Muhammad that he
[48:15]will be the one who authorized that's why many ask this that's
[48:21]in sheer a political theory why is it that's after katha Bela
[48:24]you don't see imam zain al-abideen lifting a banner to say let's
[48:28]rise you don't see him a mailbox on a homicide occurred many
[48:32]abbas it doesn't run imam el carro Imam and Rahma Imam enjoy
[48:34]a man my brother goes to al Mamoon imam al high demand
[48:38]as can we go to samara someone says why clearly because there
[48:42]was already a discussion that you hold the shia community you guide
[48:49]them you teach them develop theology is we're gonna come in these
[48:52]nights imam asada and the discussions with abu hanifa and the discussions
[48:55]with myleik as well as the companions and the students of imam
[48:58]assad of these nights are coming but it's as if on the
[49:04]political front rising against the government the idea was that this would
[49:08]be left for the remit of imam sahib honestly was Zaman and
[49:13]that's why you find that without a doubt and the traditions what
[49:16]do we see in the traditions we see that imam sahib al
[49:19]zaman will avenge what took place in karabell aha yes how many
[49:26]times you see lines within the traditions related to Imam which relate
[49:30]to Karbala if you look into her not but you see the
[49:36]lines Anil Hassan Anil saying don't you see those lines and how
[49:39]many of them break your heart when you read those lines in
[49:43]Al Hassan saying where is Hassan where is for saying where are
[49:49]the sons of Hussein on by the Salah was hard upon by
[49:57]the side of Anil angiomas all of these lines in Palomar in
[50:01]muneerah these lines these all come back to us we remember them
[50:05]likewise when we remember for example the lines where else in the
[50:11]are at anahi el mapa death those are lines as well which
[50:16]one remembers when you come for example to the lines Fela in
[50:20]akhirat need or want any an historical map door while I'm a
[50:23]Kulemin Hara baka mihari mihari mihari colada with Munna Saba : do
[50:32]Banneker Saba hawa Messiah well I am kyun like bad Allah do
[50:37]more Adama that Imam and Z are at Najia that narration that
[50:42]time did not allow me to be alongside you yes time did
[50:49]not allow me no was it my destiny to be of your
[50:51]supporters but know one thing every morning and every evening I cry
[51:00]tears of blood for you all of this from imam sahib al
[51:03]zaman likewise in the Sierra of environment for saying alayhis-salam you have
[51:08]that relationship that it wasn't imam zein al-abideen omar mailbox oh mama
[51:13]salah who avenges rather its imam sahib allah sawas Zaman it's as
[51:17]if those Imams politically said it will be him who avenges in
[51:23]that Siara of imam al-hussein on the 15th of Shaban you see
[51:27]it mentioned very clearly when we say the lines in Canela Mujib
[51:34]cabbage any understeer ascetic well asani undestand sarvatah jacket I'll be wasa
[51:39]me wobbuff re LA baya de a la la again you see
[51:46]in Nazi era as well the same way that the Imam will
[51:52]come back and all of those atrocities of the 10th of muharram
[51:55]one by one will be remembered and that's why Imam asada alayhis-salam
[51:59]would love that these tragedies would be recited next to him and
[52:04]that be certain tragedies which he'd asked for there recites Allah all
[52:10]the time he'd want to make sure that that recites Allah would
[52:13]be available for the people he'd gather the people in the modulus
[52:17]and he told them that sit down remember what happened in Karbala
[52:23]try and remember each of those who had passed away try and
[52:27]remember the way that they fell on the plains of Caramella of
[52:33]them for example he tell them tell me about Allahu Akbar in
[52:37]his final moments how was he what happened to him why because

[53:53]the ground is too heavy a weight for me it should be
[53:58]able to run to my son's body that was the first thing
[54:04]but the second thing so Kanan arranged when my father ran towards
[54:09]my brother's body he ran in the wrong direction I called out
[54:13]father father father Hallie's in the opposite direction what he said to
[54:22]me broke my heart he said my daughter don't blame your father
[54:27]why don't blame your father the death of your brother has blinded
[54:37]his eyes imagine imam al-hussein not being able to see because of
[54:42]the tears covering his eyes he eventually got near his son's body
[54:46]he looked at his son one final time may Allah subhana WA
[54:51]Ta'ala never have to show you looking into the eyes of your
[54:53]beloved as they're dying when he looked at the eyes of Akbar
[55:00]then he's no judges face then he said to Emma Akbar my
[55:04]son I see you smile and I see you cry Allah Akbar
[55:09]my son my son tell me why do you smile and why
[55:15]do you cry listen to the reply as for my smile I
[55:22]smile because I see my grandfather Rasul Allah walking towards me he's
[55:29]about to quench my thirst from the pool of Koza that's why
[55:36]I smile mala and then my son why'd you cry he said

[55:48]of me Allahu Akbar but why did you cry when you see
