[0:04]Alhamdulillah.
[0:18]Um, for [Music] Allah.
[1:01]Alhamdulillah.
[1:15]They were kept standing and made to wait at the door where
[1:23]the captives are made to wait.
[1:26]At the time, Ali Hussein Alisam was a young man.
[1:32]an elderly Syrian gentleman approached them and said, "All praise is due
[1:40]to God who killed you and killed all the members of this
[1:49]household and cut the horn of sedition." Then he continued to insult
[1:57]them.
[1:54]When he finished insulting them, Im Ali Hussein said to him, "Oh
[2:02]man, have you read the Quran?" He said to him, "Yes." He
[2:09]said to him, "Have you read the following verses?" The first of
[2:14]our loud salawat in honor of Sam.
[2:22]The second even louder salawat in honor of Im.
[2:32]The third with your loudest voices in honor of the Imam of
[2:37]our time.
[2:44]We switch the phones off out of respect for the majus when
[2:48]the melus is happening if you don't mind.
[2:49]Just out of respect for the medus.
[2:52]Switch the phones off.
[2:52]My respected brothers, sisters, scholars, the passage in question is arguably one
[3:04]of the saddest but also one of the most important moments in
[3:10]Sham where imam recites three verses which are fundamental for every Muslim
[3:16]to memorize.
[3:17]As any Muslim out there who claims to love the household of
[3:23]the holy prophet peace be upon him and his family has to
[3:25]have memorized these three verses.
[3:29]There are millions who come to Kbala may have memorized one of
[3:32]these verses.
[3:34]Another may have memorized two of them.
[3:35]And then there might be some who may have memorized all three.
[3:38]The reality is that when Im Zadis recites all three of these
[3:45]verses, he's highlighting to each and every one of us that the
[3:48]core of one's love and one's respect for B is to know
[3:53]B's position in the Quran.
[3:55]Because for a person to live their whole lives reading the Quran
[4:00]without knowing the position of the holy household within the Quran in
[4:05]reality does not bring salvation to that Muslim.
[4:08]There are many Muslims who may memorize the whole Quran for the
[4:11]whole of their life and many who may recite these verses and
[4:14]that is something meritorious.
[4:16]Well, sometimes there are certain verses which highlight as being fundamental in
[4:25]the of the follower of that when a person says I'm one
[4:29]of the aluhammmed >> then that person must know these verses.
[4:38]As we know in Sham the vital nature of this passage was
[4:44]that it was a critical juncture.
[4:45]At this moment what was happening was that the people of Sham
[4:49]were insulting Im Zam in his face.
[4:55]A number of them were coming forward and they began to make
[4:58]sure that they insult the imam one by one.
[5:01]Some of these people knew who the imam was.
[5:05]Others of them did not know who the imam was.
[5:08]as in bin is sad.
[5:11]He says that there was a carnival atmosphere in Sham because many
[5:14]times we don't know the bits and pieces about Sham.
[5:16]We know that Sham was a sad moment for Al but the
[5:21]bits and pieces are intriguing when you read the Mak.
[5:24]He says there was a carnival atmosphere in Sham.
[5:26]I asked the people what's going on here is it a celebration.
[5:30]They said to me, "Are you an Arab nomad?" He said, "No,
[5:33]I'm one of the companions of the prophet peace be upon him
[5:37]and his family." They said to him at that moment, "Sahel, do
[5:40]not be surprised if the rain ends up with drops of blood
[5:47]or the earth swallows its inhabitants." He said to them, "Why?" They
[5:51]said to him, "Because these are the family of the prophet who
[5:53]are being paraded in the streets." Sham at that moment when the
[6:00]streets were busy half the people knew who these people were.
[6:03]The other half did not know.
[6:06]Therefore, for Imam on the first level, the Imam wants to make
[6:12]clear the position of for these people that if you don't know
[6:18]us, you've never heard of us.
[6:20]Some of you are pelting us with stones.
[6:22]Some of us, some of you are poking your spears into our
[6:24]waists.
[6:25]Others of you are insulting us.
[6:28]Let me open the Quran.
[6:31]So I show you three verses that discuss us and then re-evaluate
[6:38]who you are.
[6:38]That's on the first level.
[6:41]The second lesson from this passage is the of Im when facing
[6:45]insults.
[6:46]We know that without a doubt this is a test.
[6:51]If I'm being insulted by somebody who blatantly comes to me and
[6:55]says, "All praise is due to Allah who killed you and the
[7:01]members of your household." When someone says that to you, what's your
[7:05]response?
[7:06]Some of us will straight away throw a right hook.
[7:07]Correct?
[7:08]Straight away, we'll make sure that we punch the person.
[7:14]You insult my dad.
[7:13]You insult my family.
[7:16]Do you know what we've been through?
[7:18]Do you know what we've seen?
[7:20]One of the biggest tests for was how do they reply to
[7:22]rudeness?
[7:23]It's not easy because when someone's rude to you, you either reply
[7:28]with rudeness or you find that your ends up being the highest
[7:34]because the word from is the spontaneous reaction of the human being.
[7:41]Human being when they're insulted, you look at their reaction straight away.
[7:46]His father in Karbala never once was phased by insults of the
[7:52]opposition.
[7:52]His father in Karbala as much as the opposition like Shimmer and
[7:56]others were insulting him he always maintained his poise even while thirsty
[8:01]while losing his children while losing his family.
[8:06]The question was, could a young Sajad maintain his father's legacy having
[8:12]been an imam for less than a month in reality?
[8:18]Because in Safar in Sham, Imam Abdam had become an imam for
[8:22]less than a month.
[8:26]In reality, when this issue happened, this insult towards him, the Imam
[8:30]had been an imam for three weeks.
[8:33]Finished.
[8:34]Huh?
[8:35]Safar the first of Safar entered Sham.
[8:39]On the first of Safar when entered Sham, he has been an
[8:45]im for three weeks.
[8:45]He now has a major test of his im.
[8:48]And that major test is every im of has this particular trait
[8:56]of being of course the most famous of them lives in or
[9:00]is buried in.
[9:02]Why do we call Im Mus Kadum Kadum?
[9:04]Kadum means the one who restrains his anger while in a state
[9:10]of grief.
[9:08]Every one of these has a certain level of the ability to
[9:15]restrain his anger.
[9:15]Question when imam gets somebody who insults him, how does he reply
[9:22]to that person?
[9:22]That's number two.
[9:25]Number three, the three verses the imam uses, why in particular does
[9:29]he use these three verses?
[9:30]There are many ayats about in the Quran.
[9:34]There are many ayats revealed in honor of BB in the Quran.
[9:36]But the Imam uses these three verses in particular.
[9:40]What are these three?
[9:43]What's the background of these three?
[9:45]Why were these three revealed?
[9:47]Number four, and of the utmost importance, how did we reach a
[9:51]level where 50 years after the prophet died, people are throwing things
[9:54]at his grandchildren?
[9:56]Yes.
[9:57]The end of the day, the people of Sham were Muslims.
[9:59]They were not non-Muslims.
[10:02]Yes, there was a Christian influence in Sham.
[10:03]But the people of Sham, they were all Muslims.
[10:06]They all would say the adan would be recited.
[10:13]How did we reach a level where the people are oblivious either
[10:17]to what's going on or how did we reach a level where
[10:23]the people have an absolute hate for anybody who comes and differs
[10:27]with them?
[10:29]How did Islam 50 years after the prophet reach a level where
[10:32]a group of Muslims, even if I differ with them, are ready
[10:37]to throw things at each other and spit at each other and
[10:40]are ready to poke each other with spears and pour boiling water
[10:46]on each other.
[10:46]You know that had po boiling water poured on the top of
[10:52]their heads.
[10:51]Alb had their granddaughters 3 years old, four years old with chains
[10:59]cutting their necks.
[10:58]How did Muslims treat other Muslims in this way?
[11:05]What media machinery was working that reached a level where even the
[11:11]grandchildren of the prophet were tortured in sham?
[11:14]Let's tonight examine this passage, a very important passage in the Mak
[11:19]literature and see what lessons may be learned from the context of
[11:22]this passage.
[11:24]First and foremost, how did we reach this level in 61 after
[11:28]Hijra or that particular period where the family of the prophet were
[11:32]insulted and tortured.
[11:35]Reality is that this didn't begin that month.
[11:41]This began 40 odd years before because Muawia had been in power
[11:45]in Sham from 40 years before Kbala.
[11:49]Who put Muawia in power?
[11:53]Omar put Muawia in power.
[11:54]Omar has this very interesting thing.
[11:56]He doesn't employ people necessarily in government positions from his own tribe.
[12:02]He gave the main government positions and the main positions at the
[12:07]head of the empire to who?
[12:08]To members of Beni Umaya.
[12:13]When Muawi's brother was alive, he was the governor of Sham.
[12:15]So he was the governor of Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Jordan.
[12:20]When Muawia's brother died, who was put in power?
[12:25]Muawia was put in power.
[12:26]But he was put in power by who?
[12:27]He was put in power by Omar Omar puts him in power
[12:34]and while he puts him in power he gave him the authority
[12:38]to run the show in this area as whose son Muawi is
[12:43]the son of the cannibal eater correct cannibal eater who does she
[12:47]hate the most in her life I immoleer hates Im Ali Muawi's
[12:57]granddad killed by Ali Muawi's uncles killed by Ali.
[13:04]When Muawia at the wonderful wisdom of Omar puts Muawi in power
[13:08]in Sham, you're not putting a human in power.
[13:12]You're putting a machine of hate in power.
[13:15]Yes.
[13:15]When you put a machine of hate in power, that person, especially
[13:18]in those days, forget today.
[13:19]Today the Arab, if you mess with an Arab tribe, they want
[13:25]fuss and they want and money and so on and so forth.
[13:28]That came from where?
[13:31]that came from Ham till Jah Jah the Arab if you've taken
[13:34]one of their family members he's going to come after your whole
[13:39]family he wants vengeance for your family and he'll take his time
[13:43]in getting that vengeance he doesn't have to get it in one
[13:47]day no no he'll take his time in getting that vengeance 40
[13:52]years before Kbala had already established Sham he established his authority And
[14:00]when he established his authority, he wanted to make sure as much
[14:06]as he could if he had an opportunity to raise a generation
[14:09]of hate against Ali.
[14:13]No, that was the ultimate intention.
[14:16]Apart from the expansionalism of Arab state, not Islamic Arab state, what
[14:21]he wanted was to raise a generation that had hatred for Ali.
[14:25]He tried to do this in a number of ways.
[14:28]One of the ways in which he tried to do this was
[14:31]to raise children to hate Im Ali Alisam.
[14:34]Do you know for years after Kbalah when children in Syria were
[14:40]told if you don't go to sleep then the ghost Ali will
[14:42]come and visit you.
[14:43]Now you bring up the children they hear the ghost Ali the
[14:46]ghost Ali.
[14:48]Then what do you think Ali is?
[14:49]Ali is the worst of people.
[14:50]So the first thing is you bring up the children hating Ali.
[14:55]The second thing that you do is if there's a chance for
[14:57]you to kill Ali then you raise an army to kill him.
[15:02]And that's why the battle of Safen is not a joke.
[15:08]The battle of Safen Muawia is in power for 17 years.
[15:10]By the time of Safi, he has raised hundreds of thousands of
[15:18]haters of Ali.
[15:17]And the Sunni world comes to me on YouTube and you see
[15:22]them in defense of Yes.
[15:31]When two people fight each other, they don't normally like each other.
[15:36]True.
[15:35]Now, if two people fight each other, they don't normally like each
[15:39]other.
[15:40]If a 100,000 fight each other, what does that normally mean?
[15:43]There's severe hate.
[15:43]When a when you can gather a 100,000 people against somebody that
[15:51]severe hate that hate brings up generations who are ready to insult
[15:55]anyone who differs with them and that's why when they came to
[15:58]they didn't care who you were so what kill him other companions
[16:06]kill them kill them kill them kill them had raised bloodthirsty individuals
[16:12]individuals uals who one day if they found out that Ali's children
[16:18]have come to town, what are they going to do to those
[16:21]kids?
[16:23]If in 37 after Hijra I fought the dad, what will I
[16:28]do when one day the children come to town?
[16:30]So what he does on the second level, he builds a generation
[16:33]that fights Ali at.
[16:35]And you know what the worst thing is?
[16:38]If you lost your dad at Safien and you were about 10
[16:41]24 years later, what you going to do to the sons of
[16:42]the man who killed your dad?
[16:44]You're going to wait for them, aren't you?
[16:46]You're going to wait for them one day where they enter your
[16:51]territory.
[16:51]So the second thing you do is that the third thing that
[16:54]you do is every Friday prayer you make sure the curses.
[16:59]Yes, I'm amazed.
[17:02]I'm amazed when non read in Bkari and Muslim's famous discussion you've
[17:08]seen it on YouTube when Muawa asked Omar's dad he asked him
[17:12]why don't you curse Ali why don't you c what stops you
[17:17]from cursing Abu and that same lecturer will say about what stops
[17:23]you from cursing Abu every Friday prayer before afterah they were cursed
[17:31]ing im Ali.
[17:34]of now I'm say seven years old at their 40 after hijra
[17:37]20 years later in Sham I'm now 27 I've been raised with
[17:43]cursing that's the third thing but the fourth thing is fundamental what
[17:47]is it I make sure that any merits of Ali and the
[17:50]family of Ali in the Quran the tap is changed and given
[17:56]someone else now that's huge why sometimes I will make sure that
[18:00]the merits are not there.
[18:01]Sometimes I will make sure the merits are deleted.
[18:05]Sometimes I'll make sure that the of an ayah is given to
[18:12]somebody else.
[18:10]And that's why when we get to this interaction between Imam Zin
[18:16]and the Shami when they enter Sham, this interaction centered around a
[18:22]man who was raised with the Quran, but his understanding of the
[18:27]Quran was completely changed by the Umayad government.
[18:29]And that's why im knew that I need to grab him in
[18:35]Quran.
[18:33]If I grab him in hadith, he's not going to listen.
[18:36]Let's grab him in the Quran.
[18:38]Look what ensues when the person the hadith what does it say?
[18:43]Sheh saduk narrates this within the Amali.
[18:45]And one of the best and most authentic places for what happened
[18:49]in Kbala and Kufam is Sheh Saduk's Amali.
[18:52]Shehad narrates that they were kept standing at the door where other
[19:00]captives are kept.
[19:00]So imagine Beni Hashim, imagine your BB Zam.
[19:04]And imagine these children and imagine Zd.
[19:06]And by the way, they're all chained to each other.
[19:10]Yeah.
[19:10]And imagine them.
[19:10]They're all standing.
[19:11]They're held as captives.
[19:14]They're made to wait.
[19:14]You know what wait means?
[19:17]Wait.
[19:16]Some of us when we get here to Iraq, we wait 1
[19:19]hour to get through the airport, 3 hours to get through, 2
[19:23]and 1/2 hours.
[19:22]And sham 9 hours made to wait the grandchildren of Allah.
[19:28]9 hours at least when I come here to the airport, I
[19:32]might have my families with me.
[19:34]My WhatsApp starts working.
[19:34]True.
[19:35]I connect with some people.
[19:36]Delays happen.
[19:38]I am not chained to a three-year-old girl.
[19:43]Yes.
[19:41]Nor do I have the heat hitting me.
[19:46]Nor do I have imagine this psychologically my son's heads on a
[19:50]spear in front of me.
[19:51]That's difficult.
[19:53]That's death.
[19:52]That's death.
[19:55]That's difficult for anyone to face within their life.
[20:00]The hadith says they were made to wait and then to add
[20:03]subhan Allah quite literally with the phrase insult to injury.
[20:09]Yes, quite literally insult to injury.
[20:12]The hadith says a Syrian man approached and he looked at Ali
[20:15]Hussein and the others and he said all praise is due to
[20:18]Allah.
[20:17]So he begins with alhamdulillah mashallah.
[20:20]He says alhamdulillah all praise is due to Allah who killed you
[20:26]and killed the rest of your household and cut the horn of
[20:36]sedition in the ummah.
[20:37]Now these are huge points that are made.
[20:39]Firstly, the person saying alhamdulillah that your people are killed and that
[20:44]the rest of your family is killed and that the horn of
[20:46]sedition horn of sedition what does this mean?
[20:49]Means fitna Allah has cut you people who are the fitna Allah
[20:56]Zanab is fitna Allah how Islam turned within 50 years of Zanab's
[21:02]granddad's death.
[21:04]You people are the horns of fitna because one of the best
[21:07]propagandas what was it from Iben Zad all the way to Yazid
[21:12]these group of people when people would ask who are these people
[21:14]how many times do you hear in the literature who are these
[21:16]people who are what was the reply always when people would ask
[21:21]who are they these are solid reply thear were the most hated
[21:29]people at the time the Kawar were known as the rebellious trouble
[21:35]makers first described and Muslim Muslim as who are fighting the Khalifa
[21:45]of their time.
[21:46]Then later they described Im Hussein.
[21:50]IM Hussein they said he is the im of the who have
[21:55]rebelled against this Shami when he looked at them he said alhamdulillah
[22:03]that God killed you and your household and has cut the horn
[22:09]of sedition meaning has cut off you kawarage.
[22:13]At this moment, Immadin looks at him where he continued to insult,
[22:17]insult, insult.
[22:17]Then Imam Z turned around to him.
[22:20]He said to him after he finished, he said, "Have you read
[22:23]the Quran?" The person said, "Yes, of course I have." Imam then
[22:27]said to him, "Have you read the ayah?" The first ayah every
[22:33]Muslim must have memorized about.
[22:35]Have you read the ayah?
[22:42]mashallah.
[22:44]Surah 42 verse number 23.
[22:49]The first verse imb said about position in the Quran was surah
[22:55]42 verse 23.
[22:59]Why?
[23:03]Say Allah orders the prophet say to them say to who?
[23:10]The muhajun the ansar had come to visit the holy prophet peace
[23:12]be upon him his family they came some of them with dhams
[23:16]and dinars when they came to him they said yeah roolah you've
[23:19]given us so much you are the one who led us away
[23:23]from jah to you are the one who taught us the importance
[23:28]of closeness to god and monotheism and belief in Allah subhana wa
[23:34]ta'ala rool what had we give you simple what hadith could we
[23:37]give you what gift could we give you here is money ours
[23:43]and our here is all our money we are giving you Allah
[23:46]please take it from us this is a small token some hadith
[23:50]mentioned dates others might have mentioned animals being slaughtered for him Allah
[23:57]wanted the question to be answered not the prophet if the prophet
[24:02]peace be upon him and his family had said no the Quran
[24:11]like it said it also said say to them like it said
[24:17]again here it began say to them revelation came to the prophet
[24:22]peace be upon him and his family I do not ask from
[24:30]you any reward any recompense I don't want houses I don't want
[24:34]palaces I don't want horses I don't want your woman, I don't
[24:39]want any of the luxuries that this offers.
[24:43]Nothing.
[24:41]Nothing at all.
[24:44]And every prophet before him had said, "My is with Allah." Isn't
[24:50]that true?
[24:49]Every prophet in the Quran when people ask him, "What do you
[24:54]want?" He says, "My is with Allah.
[24:55]My is with Allah.
[24:59]My is with Allah." Except the holy prophet.
[25:00]I don't ask for any except I ask from all of you
[25:10]one thing.
[25:12]One thing, not two, not three, not 10, not 20.
[25:13]I ask you one thing.
[25:16]If you're able to do this one thing, just this one thing,
[25:19]then salvation of Jenna awaits you.
[25:22]Just one thing.
[25:24]What is it?
[25:30]Say, I ask for you from you nothing except for you to
[25:39]show or ma ma number one.
[25:43]Why?
[25:44]Why would the Quran say mad?
[25:45]Ma is reciprocal love.
[25:48]The way they show love to you, give love back towards them.
[25:52]Yes.
[25:52]Why in the ayah of marriage does Allah subhana wa ta'ala say?
[26:08]Why in the eye of marriage?
[26:11]Because there has to be reciprocal love.
[26:13]You can't have unrequited love one way.
[26:16]You need to have reciprocal love.
[26:18]You show love, love is given back.
[26:20]Therefore, when the prophet said this, the prophet had told the community,
[26:23]you don't need to buy me anything.
[26:25]His wife used to also say, I remember.
[26:27]His wife says that there were 40 days.
[26:29]I remember all we at was dates and water, nothing else.
[26:33]Allah was not a man who chased whatever of this juny.
[26:35]But he said, "All I ask from you is one thing, oh
[26:39]Muslims." And if at the time I was listening to this, I'd
[26:41]probably say, "That's it.
[26:44]Come to sham and you'll see it was a big thing." At
[26:46]the time when the ayah is revealed, why Im Zam quotes this
[26:53]ayah?
[26:54]Why?
[26:55]Because the moment he said to the person, "Have you read the
[26:57]ayah?" You know what the person said to him?
[27:00]He said, "Yes, I have." Imm replied, "We are they." Now, why
[27:05]would I im say we are they?
[27:07]Clearly, there must be one interpretation for the ayah.
[27:10]I don't ask from you nothing except my family.
[27:14]We are they.
[27:13]The first reason is because the person didn't have a clue that
[27:17]the great grandson of the prophet was alive.
[27:18]He was an absolute media no man's land.
[27:20]It's like some countries in the world.
[27:23]I won't mention any.
[27:23]Their media so strong they they persuaded their people they won the
[27:27]World Cup.
[27:27]There's a country in the world, there's one guy who rules the
[27:32]country.
[27:32]You can't have any media in the country.
[27:35]He told the people that his football team won the World Cup
[27:38]and they replay the same footage all the time.
[27:42]The same media was so strong that when Alib died, people said,
[27:45]"How did he die?" He said in Salah, the people of Sham
[27:49]said, "Does he actually pray?" The media had become so strong that
[27:53]nobody knew who Ali Hussein was.
[27:57]Who's does Muhammad still have grandkids?
[27:58]That's on the one hand.
[28:02]But there's a second reason I im said we are they say
[28:08]I ask from you nothing except love for the do you know
[28:15]how many um changed it except love for your relatives your relatives.
[28:19]Oh that's a good move.
[28:22]I got to give it to you bro.
[28:25]It's a good one because when you read the ayah on face
[28:28]value Say, "I ask from you nothing except love for your relatives
[28:37]or for the relatives." Muawi had changed it cleverly to say that
[28:41]the prophet did not ask from people anything except to show love
[28:44]to their relatives.
[28:46]Does the prophet need to tell me that or should it be
[28:48]part of my fra anyway to show love for my relatives?
[28:51]Yes.
[28:51]Should be part of my fra to show love for my relatives.
[28:54]Number one.
[28:55]Number two, if it's just any relatives that I have to show
[29:00]love for, that's all the prophet asks.
[29:01]So what if a relative is an open enemy of Islam?
[29:05]I still have to show love towards them.
[29:05]Number three, if the relatives as some of they changed the idea
[29:12]of relatives to I don't ask you nothing except love for my
[29:15]relatives.
[29:16]The Quraysh that's how they changed it.
[29:19]They said that relatives is the Quraysh.
[29:22]They are the of the prophet.
[29:23]The prophet grew up amongst the Quraysh.
[29:25]So he is saying to you, I don't ask from you nothing
[29:29]except love for the Quraysh.
[29:30]Now love for the Quraysh.
[29:32]Quraysh if I have to show love to the Quraysh the Quraysh.
[29:36]What if they turn sour against the prophet?
[29:38]Im Alib of the Quraysh five only and Safi were on his
[29:42]side only five.
[29:44]So if I meant to show love to the whole of the
[29:48]Quraysh because the prophet when he said I don't ask from you
[29:50]anything except love for my family it means love for the Quraysh.
[29:53]They are my family.
[29:55]That's how Beny um changed it.
[29:57]That love of the dear ones, he lived in that city.
[30:00]It's like me saying I ask from you nothing except for the
[30:03]people of London.
[30:05]Someone says what do you mean?
[30:06]Say because they're my dear ones.
[30:07]I grew up in London.
[30:10]So show love to everybody in London.
[30:12]Say everybody in London.
[30:12]Say everybody in London were clever.
[30:16]They told the people who's the nearest people to the prophet the
[30:19]it's where he grew up.
[30:23]So they changed it from being about to the general attitude.
[30:29]When I imbam therefore said the first ayah he gave him oh
[30:33]man oh people of sham have you read the verse of the
[30:36]Quran I don't ask from you anything except love for my family.
[30:39]He was highlighting who's the love for the family and hussein and
[30:45]the sons of hussein.
[30:52]Then the second ayah.
[30:54]Then he said to the man, "Oh man, have you read the
[30:56]ayah?" Surah 17 verse number 26.
[31:04]Now again, which word do you see a common denominator between the
[31:11]first ayah and the second ayah?
[31:12]Which word?
[31:12]Again, the second word when someone tells you why do you follow?
[31:18]Why is it that you hold on to the near ones of
[31:22]Muhammad?
[31:23]The first ayah I give is the second ayah I give is
[31:31]what im gave us.
[31:30]The second ayah give the near ones their again it's a command
[31:37]from Allah subhana wa ta'ala.
[31:41]It is w that this command is done by the prophet peace
[31:43]be upon him's family.
[31:46]You look at amongst others of the mues.
[31:48]What do they say about this ayah?
[31:50]This ayah has a beautiful reason for revelation.
[31:51]Give the near one their h.
[31:55]Why was it revealed?
[31:58]It was revealed after the battle of the Jews of lived near
[32:07]the Jews of the Jews of were annihilated by correct.
[32:12]The Jews of Kaar were annihilated by Imam Ali in the battle
[32:19]of Kbar.
[32:17]The Jews of Fedc lived near the Jews of the Jews of
[32:25]when they were defeated.
[32:28]The Jews of Fedc came to the prophet peace be upon men's
[32:30]family.
[32:30]And they said to him, Muhammad, listen, you've defeated our neighbors in
[32:35]battle.
[32:36]We will not fight you at all.
[32:38]We rather will submit without using any cavalry, without any horses, without
[32:43]any fighting.
[32:45]We will give you this land of Fedc.
[32:48]And how many Shia love the land of Fedc?
[32:51]Yes, we will give you this land of Fedc.
[32:54]And the prophet said, we will share half of the prophets of
[32:57]this land.
[32:58]Okay, so the land of Fed was different to the land of
[33:01]Kaar.
[33:02]Why?
[33:03]In Islamic economic theory, if you win a certain area through war,
[33:07]then it has to be distributed ins one to Allah and the
[33:13]prophets and so on and so forth.
[33:14]If however you get a piece of land but without war, then
[33:20]it falls under what?
[33:21]Under the enf and that particular area is in the property of
[33:26]the prophet.
[33:27]He can do with it whatever he wants to do with it.
[33:30]Okay?
[33:31]He can't do what he wants to do.
[33:34]Was with cav with cavalry whereas Fedc and when did this happen?
[33:40]Four years before he died.
[33:40]Mark this for all of you when you think of the later
[33:46]happenings at Y four years before he died the holy prophet peace
[33:49]be upon him's family came into his position.
[33:59]So you have this verse in the Quran where Allah subhana wa
[34:06]ta'ala Fedc has become fate in contrast to when Fedc was in
[34:09]the hands of the prophet peace be upon him and his family
[34:14]four years before he died Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala revealed to him
[34:18]surah 17 verse 26 the same verse mentions in shaman Give your
[34:33]near one the Allah straight away said the near one oh gira
[34:40]who is it said the h is what the h of this
[34:56]particular land Fedc that's her h why oh Jel he said in
[34:58]honor of how much her mother Khadijah gave to Islam Allah wanted
[35:05]to give fat say the khadhijah gave everything she had to Islam
[35:12]to the extent she died there wasn't even a kan to cover
[35:17]her body imagine this family this Muhammad they gave everything to this
[35:22]religion wallah not one of them lived peacefully Just so that today
[35:25]we would have mad reciprocal love with them.
[35:29]Yes, they loved us.
[35:29]All the prophet said was just show a bit of love to
[35:35]these near ones.
[35:33]In one ayah when he said who are the he said in
[35:42]this ayah Allah ordered him give fedc to Fatama because she's your
[35:52]and straight away Fedc became the possession of Fatma Zah.
[35:56]Lesson number one.
[35:56]When you own something in your lifetime, transfer it to your sons
[36:02]before you die.
[36:05]Many times the biggest battles of inheritance is because the father writes
[36:08]in his will that this goes to her, this goes to him,
[36:12]this goes to in your lifetime if they're of age right with
[36:15]the lawyers, this will go to him, this will go.
[36:18]Otherwise, there'll be a punchup between the two, three, four of them
[36:21]that will never end.
[36:22]All last prophet gave the land while he's alive.
[36:27]Hezi said, "I'll just leave it in a will." Fedak was in
[36:32]the possession of Zara until who confiscated it?
[36:33]Abu Bakr.
[36:35]Abu Bakr confiscated Fedak from Zah.
[36:38]Prophets do not leave behind inheritance.
[36:40]You okay?
[36:42]Prophets don't leave behind inheritance.
[36:44]So how about the Quran saying or that inherited Zakaria inherited daw
[36:52]who knows the Quran better you or Fatama?
[36:58]Yes knew the Quran inside out.
[37:02]But the second verse therefore that Im Z mentioned in Sham to
[37:06]reply to the person who was saying Allah has cursed this household
[37:10]and has killed them.
[37:12]He said to him, "Have you read surah 423?" He said to
[37:15]him, "Yes." He said, "We are they." Have you read Surah 17:26?
[37:19]He said, "Yes." He said, "Do you know who it's about?" He
[37:22]said, he said, "We are they." And then he said to him,
[37:28]"Oh man, have you read the verse?
[37:36]Oh, >> if every single one of you leaves Zara this year
[37:45]having memorized these three ayats, then you have your stamp in reality
[37:48]for Jenna inshallah.
[37:50]Because if your sons or your daughters or your family or your
[37:55]friends or people discuss with you one day, why are you so
[37:56]adamant on holding on to B?
[37:59]Say to them 42:23, 17:26 and 333.
[38:05]In we all know that ayah because the incident is known as
[38:13]this which we all recite.
[38:16]Some people site it in weddings, some in funerals, some some some
[38:21]that incident and unanimously agree that the prophet was with Fat Zah
[38:30]was with Im Ali, with Im Hassan, with Im Hussein and that
[38:34]he covered them with the Almani and that he brought them all
[38:41]in there together and that Allah revealed the ayah.
[38:44]And you know how this verse is translated shows you why Im
[38:50]Z countered Muawi's changes of translations.
[38:54]What do I mean?
[38:54]If you look at now on Google, if you go to 3333,
[38:59]go to the Allah wants to remove from you all impurities, oh
[39:04]people of the house, and purify you a thorough purification.
[39:08]Do we agree with that translation?
[39:10]Let me say it again.
[39:12]Allah wants to remove from you all impurities, oh people of the
[39:18]house, and purify you a thorough purification.
[39:22]Do we agree with that translation?
[39:26]Why is it to remove or to keep away?
[39:27]If you say remove, it means al Muhammad were affected by impurity.
[39:34]Allah washed it from them.
[39:36]where the essence of purity is al Muhammad and the purest people
[39:45]are al Muhammad.
[39:43]Never did and it touched them.
[39:48]Don't we say they were the purest of the pure in the
[40:06]words of others when you ask them baba this is in Muslim
[40:12]it's in Muslim narrated and ini narrated by and that's the thing
[40:16]that baffles me in every other area we must respect the wives
[40:21]except if the wives respect and every other area I must respect
[40:25]everything the wives say but when the wives clearly sayith is the
[40:31]thorough purification that's why when people ask me what's your proofs for
[40:34]infallibility this is the proof for infallibility this ayah the proof for
[40:41]of is that no other group of people in the Quran has
[40:44]Allah except Not people of a house, people of the house al
[40:52]there is one particular house and that was the house of Muhammad
[40:55]and Ali and Fat and Hassan and Hussein.
[40:59]Therefore, Imam looked at him he said to him the third ayah.
[41:04]He said to him, "You've read this ayah." The man looked at
[41:08]him and said, "Yes." He said, "We are the B.
[41:10]We are the ones who are mentioned in all of these." My
[41:12]dear brothers and sisters, what this man then did is something wonderful.
[41:16]The man in the middle of Sham, the echoes of the magicians
[41:22]of Moses with Pharaoh.
[41:23]You remember when Moses' stick became a snake, what did they do?
[41:29]Sjud, that man straight away he raised his hand.
[41:34]He said, "Oh Allah, I call you in repentance.
[41:39]Oh Allah, all praise is due to you.
[41:45]I seek refuge in you.
[41:45]for the first thing and that is I dissociate from the enemies
[41:50]and the killers of Al Muhammad.
[41:52]Do you know how hard that is?
[41:55]That Toba is so hard.
[41:56]You are in the middle of sham.
[41:57]You're in the middle of the biggest haters and for you to
[42:03]stand up in front of everybody is so difficult.
[42:07]That man he highlighted that on the first level when h has
[42:14]come to me how can I reject that hak I am throwing
[42:16]stones at the granddaughters of Allah or I am trying to hit
[42:22]them no oh Allah I seek Toba and oh Allah not just
[42:24]Toba my Toba is not just that I love al Muhammad but
[42:29]I do tab of the enemies of al Muhammad because when a
[42:35]person says to me you know there are Many nonshia they love
[42:37]but they also love their killers.
[42:40]There are many non who love but they also admire those who
[42:47]raised armies against that's not loving.
[42:49]When I love you I cannot stand those who hurt you.
[42:55]I love I don't praise those who fight.
[42:56]So therefore the man he taught one lesson.
[42:59]He raised his hand.
[43:01]He said, "I seek refuge in Allah and I dissociate from the
[43:05]enemies and from the killers of." But then he concluded with a
[43:12]wonderful line.
[43:11]He said, "Oh people," and he reminded me of the Ali and
[43:17]you all know the Wallah.
[43:30]This man was like the M of Aliasin.
[43:32]He said, "I have read the Quran all my life, but it
[43:39]is of no use when I did not find them in the
[43:43]Quran." How many times you see people reading the Quran like a
[43:50]parrot or like the Quran says, they carry it like the donkey
[43:53]carries luggage.
[43:55]They read the Quran and memorize it.
[43:56]And by the way, I respect anyone who memorized the Quran.
[43:58]Not easy.
[43:59]But if you have not found al Muhammad in the Quran then
[44:04]in what value does not im himself say pray prayers the size
[44:07]of if you do not accept our they are not accepted by
[44:14]Allah that's >> do not fall for this idea that because someone
[44:18]memorizes the Quran they have found Jenna otherwise ISIS should all be
[44:22]giving us drinks in Jenna wall you know ISIS all of them
[44:27]had memorized the Quran like a bullbull They had memorized the Quran.
[44:30]Nobody had memorized it like them.
[44:32]And that same person who came to Imam Ali after the battle
[44:36]of Dawan.
[44:37]He said to he was walking with Imam Ali.
[44:38]One day they walked past the house was with Imam Ali.
[44:41]He said we walked past the house.
[44:43]Beautiful Quran.
[44:44]Lovely recital.
[44:44]Imam said one day I'll show you this guy.
[44:46]He showed him in the guy's head on a spear.
[44:49]He was one of the guys who fought Im Ali.
[44:52]Just because someone memorizes the Quran does not mean they cannot hurt
[44:59]the grandsons of Allahb others they were all at they knew the
[45:03]Quran inside out yet look at the way they treated the body
[45:07]of the grandson of Allah and that's why when this man stood
[45:09]up what did he say he said let me make something clear
[45:12]I have read the Quran and you can imagine the pain this
[45:16]man's in because there are some opinions that the man got killed
[45:18]on the spot by the government you know what The fourth lesson
[45:24]is from this incident.
[45:24]The door of Toba is never closed for anybody if they find
[45:29]in their lives.
[45:29]Yes.
[45:30]Cuz sometimes we condemn people.
[45:32]This guy is not religious.
[45:35]This guy will never change.
[45:36]This this shi went from insulting to being remembered on the Mimar
[45:45]in 2025 like Yazidi went from the army of Yazid to the
[45:51]army of Hussein.
[45:51]The door of Toba never closes for anyone who seeks and even
[45:57]those it doesn't matter how close they are to the ruling families
[46:00]who oppress the B if they have within them a love of
[46:04]B Allah will open the door isn't Yazid's son Muawi believed Immad
[46:08]should be the Khalifa Yazid's own son Muawia named after his granddad
[46:14]believed Immifa and likewise in Sham Yazid's own wife had some love
[46:22]of B.
[46:23]Yes, Yazid had married a number of ladies.
[46:26]The man was still in his mid30 mid to late 30s.
[46:29]He's still young.
[46:29]He had married a couple of ladies.
[46:30]And one of them was this lady called Hind.
[46:34]And this lady Hind when she was so much younger, she had
[46:40]served in the house of Imam Ali.
[46:42]Imagine this lady had served in the house of Im Ali Ali.
[46:48]And the different narrations tell us, one tells us she was from
[46:51]a Jewish family or a Christian family and that she had fallen
[46:53]ill and that one day her family had gone to B and
[46:58]they said pre please ask Allah to help cure our young daughter
[47:04]she's really ill and that subhan Allah some some reach a conclusion
[47:08]that either a young Imam Hussein prayed for her Allah or a
[47:13]young Imam Amir Alman prayed for her irrespective in mentions that this
[47:19]lady had been in the service of B because maybe she was
[47:22]cured because of the duas of B and is there better duas
[47:28]than al Muhammad's duas and then she stayed with Im Ali with
[47:35]B after IM Ali died when I im Hassan became Imam Muawi
[47:39]having taken over the command he forced her to marry Yazid so
[47:45]she had left Medina for a long time and but still within
[47:50]her heart was a love of Al Muhammad.
[47:53]She had seen the beauty and the softness of the heart of
[47:59]and she had known that the Quran had said she had known
[48:07]that were the core of the Quran and the were the haya
[48:13]that Allah had given.
[48:13]She was sitting something shocker.
[48:18]Something struck her.
[48:25]She turned around.
[48:27]She had her maid next to her.
[48:31]May Allah give us patience.
[48:34]She turned around to her maid.
[48:39]She said, she said, I recognize the manner of speaking of whoever
[48:43]speaking.
[48:45]She said, "So what do you mean?" >> She said, "Who who
[48:55]is it?
[48:56]Who who was being paraded?" She said, "So, who's being paraded?" So
[49:11]they said to She said, "But the lady who speaks, who is
[49:26]that?" I said she's one of the ladies of the >> We
[49:45]are far from Zanab tonight.
[49:46]Zanab's shrine is empty.
[49:55]So she said to she said to but the the manner in
[50:03]which she speaks I've heard years ago Zanab no one had seen
[50:09]Zanab al Muhammad's woman they are not meant to be paraded and
[50:14]what had happened to Islam what had happened to Islam so her
[50:19]maid said to her the ruler uh your husband.
[50:21]He says you have to get ready because we're parading them in
[50:25]front of everyone.
[50:30]The prophet all he asked just look after these.
[50:33]I'm begging you.
[50:34]That's all I said.
[50:34]Wallah I don't want cars.
[50:38]I don't want horses.
[50:37]I don't want houses.
[50:41]I don't want any buildings.
[50:42]I just want you to look after Ali and Hassan and Hussein
[50:45]Fatama their kids.
[50:48]You ask me what do I want?
[50:51]That's all I want.
[50:51]That's all I want.
[50:53]Don't do anything.
[50:53]Don't harm them.
[50:56]Don't hit them.
[50:56]Don't betray them.
[50:58]She got changed.
[51:01]She got ready.
[51:01]And then she came and sat on her throne.
[51:04]The rest of the mosa, you all know.
[51:08]She came and sat on her throne.
[51:12]She's on the throne.
[51:12]Zanab is on the ground.
[51:13]Zanab's on the floor.
[51:17]Kul is on the floor.
[51:16]Suk is on the floor.
[51:20]Allahbar Zab turned their own Zabisam turned around to Kulum said to
[51:38]Kulum you recognize her Kulthum said to her who is she said
[51:45]it's Hind said Hinn said Yes, the young Hind who was in
[51:50]our house in Medina and said, "Yes, that's her." She saw them.
[51:58]She saw them talk to each other.
[52:02]She said to them, "Where are you from?" They said to her,
[52:08]"We are from Medina Allah." She got off her throne.
[52:13]She sat on the floor.
[52:16]Zabisam said to her, "Why did you get off your throne?" She
[52:21]said, "Out of respect for the people of Medina." She said to
[52:31]her, "When I was young, I served in a house in Medina.
[52:35]I don't know if you know the members of Allah.
[52:43]May I ask you about some of the members of that house?
[52:47]She said to go ahead, ask me about whoever you want to
[52:52]ask me.
[52:51]What did Zanab hold in?
[52:54]Wallah, I don't know.

[53:01]Honestly, notice the of Im Z.
[53:02]He never was rude to that man who was rude to him.

[53:17]the wife of someone we don't like." She said, "Ask me about
[53:18]anyone." She said to her, "Tell me about Allahbar." I was in
[53:26]the house of Ali when I was younger.
[53:29]Do you know that house?
[53:33]Zanab said, "Yes, I know that house." She said to her, "May
[53:35]I ask you about some of the members of that house?" She
