[1:43]see a drink alcohol is being offered but here in the West

[1:48]everywhere you go in the supermarket and the chain stores and even

[1:55]in some public places you go restaurants there are none halal drinks

[2:05]so obviously the main one we're talking about is is alcohol alcohol

[2:13]all alcoholic beverages that all alcoholic beverages are Haram and we cannot

[2:29]drink them for a simple reason because they are intoxicant they make

[2:34]you lose your mind once that's the criteria for alcoholic beverages whether

[2:42]they make you intoxicant mildly or severely it doesn't matter as long

[2:52]as it's its intoxicant and intoxicate you then it is haram to

[3:01]drink now there are a few issues that I need to point

[3:11]out to not only drinking alcohol is Haram not only drinking alcohol

[3:18]is Haram what else is Hara selling selling alcohol is Haram carrying

[3:28]alcohol is haram meaning whether you carry it with your own hand

[3:36]or in your car transporting alcohol is haram offering alcohol is haram

[3:47]planting alcohol someone plants grape exclusively to make wine out of it

[4:37]table where alcohol is served so for example I'm invited to someone's

[4:50]house and non-muslim and they have party and there is alcohol being

[4:59]served not only it's Haram for me to drink it is haram

[5:01]for me to be sitting on a table where there is alcohol

[5:09]being served now if I'm sitting on this table and there is

[5:13]no alcohol being served rather on the other table there is alcohol

[5:18]is there anything wrong with that no I'm not responsible if no

[5:25]alcohol is being served on my specific table but if the alcohol

[5:29]is being served on another table I'm not responsible same thing we

[5:34]can say about going to a restaurant now if I go to

[5:41]a restaurant to eat and the restaurant sells alcohol am I allowed

[5:48]to go there yes I am allowed to go there I'm not

[5:51]allowed to drink alcohol I'm not allowed to sit on a table

[5:57]where alcohol is being served but if the restaurant is offering alcohol

[6:00]to other customers to other guests this has not does not affect

[6:04]me I have nothing to do it has nothing to do with

[6:10]me now there is some irony about going to a halal restaurant

[6:14]that sells alcohol some people say I mean how how is it

[6:24]possible that someone sells halal yet he sells alcohol in fact I

[6:29]was visiting a Muslim country recently it's called Bosnia it's in Europe

[7:26]halal restaurant but yet they drink alcohol and the restaurant sells alcohol

[7:29]it's very common there that people go and they ask for halal

[7:36]meat and they go to a restaurant based on the fact that

[7:40]he is selling halal and if he doesn't sell challah they don't

[7:45]go to him yet they order alcohol and if they drink it

[7:48]very commonly so yeah that's an irony but it's possible it's possible

[7:59]that the restaurant is Muslim he sells halal he sells halal meat

[8:05]yet he is selling liquor so can I take the fact that

[8:12]he is selling alcohol a sign that the meat is not challah

[8:16]no if I ascertain that he is Muslim and he is selling

[8:22]halal and I know there is no proof that he is you

[8:24]know cheating I still can consider him consider his challah remember what

[8:32]we said if the owner is Muslim there is no definite sign

[8:34]that he's lying and he's telling you this is halal so I

[9:23]are basically marketing his business and this is happening with a cost

[9:30]with a price and the price we are weakening the other guy

[9:35]if that's the case no here you need to back off and

[10:47]remember what we said the reason alcohol is Haram is why because

[10:53]it's intoxicating its intoxicating it takes your you know insanity what are

[11:01]mildly or severely but if the beer is not intoxicants it has

[13:49]with the alcohol but you don't have to do that this is

[13:54]an extra this is an extra you do as long as it

[13:55]is a shrimp you don't have to even ask you just tell
