[0:04]audhu billahi min as-shaytan ar-rajim bismillah r-rahman r-rahim al-hamdu lillahi rabbil alameen
[0:13]wa sallahu ala sayidina muhammadin wa ala nabina pah hurry you open
[0:23]page 11 we continue our discussion into the types of water that
[0:32]we have for us to know whether water is pure or not
[0:39]how does it become neji's how does it become impure or not
[0:45]we need to know what type of water are we dealing with
[0:49]in Islamic law now in Islamic law we have several types of
[0:54]plain water we spoke about my and mukluks plain water and we
[1:02]spoke about my Elif which is mixed water but let's examine now
[1:06]plain water we have several types of plain water now for you
[1:13]to determine whether water becomes naturists or not it becomes impure or
[1:16]not you have to know what type of water are you dealing
[1:22]with so let's outline the types of water that we have plain
[1:30]water we have three types of plain water and each of these
[1:40]categories has slightly different rulings the first type is rain water water
[1:51]that comes from the sky the second type is a water that
[2:03]has a source and we'll explain that and the third type is
[2:10]corn water or we call it allele water is it core or
[2:19]is it valium the first type is rainwater water that comes down
[2:31]from the sky does not have to have a certain amount of
[2:36]quantity for it to purify if there's some blood on your hands
[2:39]you put it under rain water a few drops of rain wash
[2:45]it away your hand is clean so we see that in Islamic
[2:51]law rain water is highly you know it has the capacity to
[2:54]purify very quickly you don't need any amount of water doesn't have
[2:58]to be attached just some raindrops fall on a certain area they
[3:03]wash that area that area automatically becomes clean even even if the
[3:11]water is polluted as long as we still consider it to be
[3:15]rain water plain water it's not jadi but it's month I will
[3:24]talk about my jadi rainwater rain water as long as it's rain
[3:27]water and people consider it to be a rain water it's not
[3:32]like black or you know sometimes sometimes it's so polluted where the
[3:37]water is just black literally black no maybe it will not consider
[3:40]that plain water but we're talking about average rain even in polluted
[3:45]cities I mean the water is not black black right maybe it
[3:52]changes color a little bit but it's still rain water if it
[3:56]hits the roof and it's come down and you no longer are
[4:03]seeing Venna Jassa the blood for example now if you see the
[4:05]blood is still there the color of the blood is with it
[4:09]that's no juice of course because then ijazah is there but let's
[4:12]say it washes your roof and then you don't see any trace
[4:15]of the Natasa that automatically purifies it or when it comes to
[4:21]your hand there's a drop of blood on your hand just put
[4:24]it three seconds under the rain you no longer see the drop
[4:28]of blood that makes a pile this is an attribute a characteristic
[4:31]of what of rain water well as long as you don't see
[4:43]them as a set it's clean just by visual determination yes if
[4:47]you always have doubt you have to consider it neji's because of
[4:52]the law of continuity because you knew for sure before you put
[4:56]it under there anyway they're weighing water it was neji's now you
[5:00]have doubt whether the rainwater purified it such as you see some
[5:05]color you're not sure what this color is in that case you
[5:10]have to apply the law of continuity and assume it's still ninjas
[5:13]but let's say it's very clear to you visibly I don't see
[5:15]any trace of the natasa it's just gone that blood is gone
[5:20]then you consider it to be pure so rain water purifies everything
[5:25]the roads the pavement the grass it purifies everything even if the
[5:34]rain water is mixed with dust pollutants anything else it's still considered
[5:40]rain water and it still purifies let's say if you go to
[5:43]some areas that is that that the air is a little bit
[5:48]sandy or dusty like desert areas obviously the rain water will contain
[5:52]some sand with it even the color mitt could be you know
[5:55]not so clear that is still considered rain water until it gets
[6:00]to the point where it's just mud falling in it like in
[6:03]a very severe sandstorm where it's just mud falling on people okay
[6:08]that's no longer rain water it's no longer plain water people consider
[6:11]that to be a type of mixed water so that's the first
[6:13]type and then we will read the hadith if that corresponds to
[6:19]it the second type is any water that has a source what
[6:27]does that mean like a spring a spring of water that has
[6:31]a source to it now the water that's coming from the spring
[6:37]it does not matter if it's a lot of water like a
[6:38]River a stream that's flowing from a spring or it's just a
[6:47]small little stream you have the small flow of water it does
[6:51]not matter scholars consider this to hat to be a water that
[6:59]has a source now in Arabic they would call this Lihue Mada
[7:06]Mada means source so this water has a source such as a
[7:17]spring water a well for example water that you find in the
[7:20]well has a source because you take from it it fills up
[7:24]it's connected to some other source like the aquifer under the ground
[7:26]the water table under the ground so well water is also a
[7:33]type of water that what that has a source it could be
[7:39]polluted yes but as long as it's plain water you're not seeing
[7:46]any magenta it's fine that's considered pure even if there is some
[7:54]oil in the water does it become mixed water or people still
[7:59]consider it mukluks what are the people consider it as long as
[8:02]you consider it plain water even if it's contaminated you could still
[8:06]wash away than a gesso with it yeah you wouldn't drink it
[8:09]obviously we don't drink these days we're so spoiled will only drink
[8:16]this alright but does that mean only this can purify you and
[8:19]remove the blood no you know imagine what people would drink in
[8:22]the past today you would not drink from a river trust me
[8:26]even a lake freshwater lake you would not drink from it but
[8:29]these are all pure sources of water that can purify your body
[8:35]and purify you from any new justá-- so it doesn't matter you
[8:38]know what the quantity of the water is it's a small little
[8:43]stream that's flowing it's a huge river doesn't matter if it has
[8:47]a source it's considered water that has a source scholars have another
[8:51]way to describe this they call it Alma and Johnny what does
[8:59]Johnny mean running or flowing water running water flowing water they consider
[9:06]this Alma a jolly if it has a source as long as
[9:13]it has a source they consider mile jari or Lihue Magda what's
[9:17]special about this type of water what's special about this type of
[9:23]water if you see a small stream flowing and it has a
[9:24]source if something ned jizz something impure falls in it does it
[9:33]contaminate all the water or just that particular area just that particular
[9:38]area now if you remove that edges and the water continues to
[9:45]flow and you don't see that ajasa in that particular part it
[9:48]goes back to its purity whereas if you have standing water if
[9:56]you have still water it's standing or still water if you have
[10:06]standing or still water if one drop of Natasha falls in it
[10:17]what happens all of it becomes neji's so this is a difference
[10:19]between water that has a source and water that does not have
[10:24]a source that's standing it's still water any water that has no
[10:28]source let's say you have a stream a stream of water running
[10:30]but it really doesn't have a source somebody opened the faucet you
[10:34]know they were washing the hillside and you saw this stream coming
[10:40]you're like oh now I have flowing water the minute any natasha
[10:43]falls in it that flowing water becomes neji's contaminated if it does
[10:50]not have a source but if it does have a source you
[10:52]can always consider it to be pure and there are other you
[10:57]know differences we will discuss inshallah let's say if you have clothes
[11:04]that have urine on them it depends with with which type of
[11:06]water you're washing them if you're washing them with a water that
[11:10]has source you just wash them once and squeeze them and what
[11:15]they become five but if you have standing or still water you
[11:17]have to pour water on them let's say two times and squeeze
[11:21]them two times for them to be purified so there's many differences
[11:24]we will discuss them insha'Allah and then the third type of water
[11:28]is what you have standing water it's not connected to any source
[11:36]but you divide that water into core a large amount of water
[11:40]or a small amount of water if it's a large amount of
[11:45]water like a swimming pool for example a swimming pool pretty much
[11:51]has the same laws of a water that has a source if
[11:57]one drop of blood falls in the swimming pool does it automatically
[12:00]make all of it neji's no it does not just that affected
[12:04]area you consider it nurtures and if you remove then ajasa the
[12:09]color is no longer visible then you consider all the swimming pool
[12:14]to be Abajo whereas if you have a bucket of water some
[12:18]small standing water if one ajasa one single drop in it it
[12:24]makes all of it ninjas and you can no longer use it
[12:28]to do with or to purify yourself or to drink it because
[12:30]it's Haram to drink water that has been made ninjas because of
[12:36]the size now core or Kylene it does not have a source
[12:38]it's just a body of water if it's more than a certain
[12:43]amount we call it a core and if it's less than that
[12:48]amount we call it aleem valine in arabic means small a small
[12:51]amount of water so the difference between these two is that water
[12:54]that is cool if a small natasha falls in it it does
[13:00]not make it all ninjas whereas if the water is valine and
[13:03]you have some Rajasa falling into it it makes it ninjas will
[13:11]discuss the quantity it has to do with how you measure it
[13:17]with your hands it's a certain volume that we look at so
[13:20]these are basically the three types of water let's now examine the
[13:26]text so on page 11 in the middle of the page you
[13:29]see the heading and MA or nada we said a knob that
[13:37]means what yes page look at page 11 and my own neighbor
[13:47]whoa hey Ronda is that page 13 okay I think I have
[13:50]a different version here so yes then page 13 Alma Inaba okay
[13:57]or another you see that okay next time I will have the
[13:59]same version that you have but I still have the older one
[14:04]because I have some notes on it so and another water that
[14:08]springs from the ground emanates from the ground as the water is
[14:16]the second type of water its water that has a source it's
[14:19]all my algeri so the author explains he starts with a hadith
[14:23]by an imam sadiq ali sana an imam musa dagh re salam
[14:29]and local la pena bulliraju filmer and jari the Imam says we
[14:36]don't have an no problem if a person makes water that is
[14:43]jari makes water that is running impure such as by urinating in
[14:48]it so if you have a stream of water that's flowing and
[14:52]let's say someone contaminates it in that manner does this make the
[14:57]whole stream neji's their mom says no Lava sir it does not
[15:00]make it nurtures we don't have an issue there why Korea any
[15:06]abullah fill my a locket however if the water is ragged what
[15:12]does that I could mean standing or still water the Imam says
[15:18]no it's not recommended for him to do that because then you
[15:21]will make the water not just and you can't use it it's
[15:26]just like wasting the water so the amount unease Saddam was bringing
[15:29]this idea to their attention especially people who lived in the deserts
[15:32]right and especially in the past people did not really have public
[15:35]baths in many areas so the amount of idea Sam says if
[15:40]you're dealing with running water like a stream like a river it
[15:43]does not make it midges but if you are dealing with standing
[15:48]water it's still water then it does make it edges and you
[15:51]have an issue with it and you will no longer can use
[15:56]it because it makes certain edges now the author says an MA
[16:00]or Jerry Phil no kamae a jury on an arm he says
[16:02]water that is Jerry why is he focusing on the word Jerry
[16:06]because the Imam mentions the word in the hadith right you see
[16:12]the hadith of the EEMA he says filmer el Jerry a person
[16:19]contaminates water that is jari do you see the word Jerry in
[16:22]the hadith of them are so a jolly linguistically in arabic means
[16:28]water that is flowing running water on the face of the earth
[16:33]on the ground algeri felucca Mary says linguistically water that's flowing is
[16:39]any water that's flowing on the ground whether it has a source
[16:41]or it doesn't have a source as long as water is flowing
[16:47]in arabic we call it flowing water and standing or still waters
[16:52]and you honor that is not flowing however when scholars say Alma
[16:58]algeri flowing water what do they mean they mean water that has
[17:02]a source not just any water that is flowing a water that
[17:09]has a source they call it mine Johnny so now you have
[17:12]a different meaning in Islamic law than the linguistic meaning the linguistic
[17:17]meaning in Arabic Johnny views any water that floats it has a
[17:20]source and doesn't have a source there's a large quantity of water
[17:24]flowing there is a small client it doesn't matter it's called mile
[17:28]GRE flowing water but in Islamic law in the book of filter
[17:31]when they tell you my Johnny what do they mean the scholars
[17:38]it's running water that has a one that has a source or
[17:41]it doesn't have to be running any water like a well while
[17:47]is not running water right but it has a source so scholars
[17:50]when they say my and Johnny really they are referring to any
[18:01]water that has a source like a spring whether it's actually flowing
[18:04]or not flowing it doesn't matter as long as it has a
[18:07]source they will consider it to be a lamahieu Johnny so how
[18:13]do we know this the author he says wa qarna sahib uma
[18:18]dharak so i Wilma Derrick was a previous scholar centuries ago what
[18:25]does he say El Mirage Bill Johnny another what we mean by
[18:30]flowing water is water that is nada that has a source so
[18:36]scholars have a different meaning for my and Johnny than the linguistic
[18:40]meaning so he's just pointing that out because sometimes you will you
[18:43]know take a book of rulings and you hear the word jadi
[18:46]and like oh okay that's any water that's flowing he's saying no
[18:49]it's not just any water that's flowing it's any water that has
[18:54]a one that has a source so this is what he explains
[18:56]in this paragraph and he says this is an expression that scholars
[19:03]have made and that you will find an Islamic law and for
[19:07]stints for any water that is that does not have a source
[19:15]even if it's flowing you don't consider that to be Johnny even
[19:18]if it's flowing but as long as it does not have a
[19:22]source like the example we mentioned someone on a hillside you know
[19:25]gets a bucket of water and he is washing the hillside you
[19:31]get water that's flowing but scholars will not consider it to be
[19:35]a water that flows now what's the effect if one drop of
[19:37]Najah so falls in that water on the hillside it makes it
[19:43]all ninjas whereas if it had a source it does not become
[19:45]ninjas is this clear ok so the faucet water that we have
[19:58]the tap water there are some differences amongst the scholars but the
[20:04]majority of scholars will treat it as cold water the third type
[20:09]yes big quantity because it's attached to a pool of water you
[20:13]know that the city has made available and it's connected to it
[20:20]right the water is connected to that source that the city makes
[20:25]available that's fine so then it's connected to water that has a
[20:32]source but usually they isolate it they get the water from the
[20:38]river from the lake they put it in a treatment center like
[20:39]a big pool and then they give it to the households now
[20:43]if you know that it's connected to the lake then not only
[20:48]is it cool water but it's also water that has a source
[20:50]so tap water most scholars will treat it as one of these
[20:54]two categories the third one or the second one which makes life
[20:58]a lot easier for us it's very easy to purify things with
[21:02]that type of water someone is like the example of the hill
[21:08]someone has a faucet open at the very top of the hill
[21:14]water is flowing down as long as if you so the question
[21:20]is if someone opens the faucet water on the hill and you
[21:23]get the water flowing isn't that considered crow water if it's attached
[21:26]if that water that is flowing is attached to that tap water
[21:34]then yes you treat it all as cur water but if it
[21:36]disconnects meaning you open the tap water and then it hits the
[21:41]ground and then it kind of disconnects from the main source then
[21:44]no it becomes my el khalili so it depends if it's attached
[21:47]or not that's why some scholars have a problem with this shower
[21:53]you know the showers that we have it takes the water which
[21:56]is connected to each other and then it makes these small little
[22:03]you know streams what do you call them you know the shower
[22:08]head right is that connected or no it does have a source
[22:13]but does it disconnect it or not some scholars have an issue
[22:18]you will see them considering this to be at the Lille water
[22:21]which is pure it's fine but to purify its weaker than the
[22:27]core water but if you know for sure that you know what
[22:29]I know it's still very small you know you've got these you
[22:35]know 20 holes from which the water is coming but it's still
[22:37]connected if you're sure that it's connected you can treat it as
[22:44]cur water if it's Genet if jetted water yeah if it's jetted
[22:47]water that's fine you know it's still connected okay if it separates
[22:53]it then it becomes coleen that's the problem so it really also
[22:58]depends on the type of shower now some scholars the minority of
[23:04]them some scholars this is just for you to know let's say
[23:07]we say the showerhead is disconnected from the main source it's like
[23:11]kind of pulsating or or when you get all these you know
[23:16]smells you disconnect it some water consider it to be a type
[23:20]of rain because it falls just like the rain especially you've seen
[23:25]these huge big showerheads that they're producing these days you know they're
[23:29]big squares you feel like you're under the rain some scholars these
[23:33]days are starting to treat that like rainwater now why does that
[23:37]make a difference when it comes to listen when it comes to
[23:40]your voice so you have to wash your head first then the
[23:43]right side than the left side except if you're doing whistle we're
[23:48]in rain water if you're doing glisten in rain water you do
[23:52]the NIA for the listen and you wash all of your body
[23:56]simultaneously you don't have to do the right before they left the
[23:58]head before the body so if we consider the shower head to
[24:02]be a type of rain water you no longer have to observe
[24:03]that sequence and of a sudden you could just wash your body
[24:07]all at once and you're done with your of a certain just
[24:09]like if you dive in a swimming pool so it makes a
[24:14]difference how we treat this water right you see the details and
[24:17]the consequences that emerge from you know just considering this type of
[24:22]water is it cold water is it jadi is it rainwater this
[24:27]makes a big difference how you classify all these types of water
[24:31]and that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to
[24:44]Islamic law yeah so those Mahajan that tell you have to wash
[24:48]your head neck and your body they're assuming that you are doing
[24:51]Russell not with rainwater and you're not obviously diving in a swimming
[24:58]pool you're doing Russell 30 be a type of whistle in which
[25:01]you do it step by step sequence by sequence which is which
[25:07]is either from small water or you take you know just the
[25:10]tap water and you wash yourself yeah in the shower like I
[25:14]said most scholars don't consider the shower to be rainwater that's why
[25:18]they say you have to do it by tarty by sequence you
[25:21]have to wash the head first the neck and then the right
[25:24]side and then the left side but if you follow a manager
[25:29]who says to me the shower is like rainwater what's the consequence
[25:31]of that what's the effect you no longer have to do the
[25:37]sequence because you treat it as rainwater and whenever you do listen
[25:40]I'm the rain water you don't have to observe any sequence your
[25:43]body gets wet it's washed you're done with your listen because they
[25:49]say it it has the features of rain water it's coming down
[25:54]at once like rain so they consider you know what this this
[25:56]is like rain water so it has the features of rain water
[26:05]now let's examine these types of water do they become nudges or
[26:12]no if you have a big pool of water you have water
[26:18]that's running water that has a source can it become new Jessore
[26:20]no this is what we discuss in the next heading and lemma
[26:26]one would Alcott and nurtures what does Alomar mean water what does
[26:30]more Academy meeting when something comes into contact with something else something
[26:37]that touches something else this is called Mulligan's meeting and then adjust
[26:46]or encounter Natasha is impurity so water and meeting impurities this is
[26:52]the subject of this next paragraph just so we understand the words
[26:56]being used here Alma WaMu la carte and nudges someone Alcott means
[27:03]to me neji's is then adjusted Tilottama Anna wrastlin Adam sallallahu aleyhi
[27:10]one says llama salli ala muhammad o ali muhammad he said it
[27:14]has come in a moto eternal hadith that the prophet sallallahu alayhi
[27:19]wa SN for those who attended the science of hadith can someone
[27:23]explain to us what does motivate or mean the hadith that is
[27:25]motivated what does it mean successive can you elaborate on what a
[27:32]successive hadith is so a moto al-hadith is a hadith that has
[27:41]been narrated by so many narrators to the point where you have
[27:48]a Athene and certainty that the Prophet said it it's not possible
[27:51]for them to have made this up to have conspired to have
[27:55]decided you know what let's just accuse the prophet of saying this
[27:58]they come from different rank backgrounds just random people who did not
[28:02]meet with each other to conspire so this is one muta wat
[28:08]or hadith a hadith that has been narrated by so many companions
[28:11]and whether you're sunny or Shia you recognize this as a motivator
[28:15]hadith it has so many sources in our hadith book that you
[28:20]can be certain the Prophet must have said it it's not impossible
[28:23]for all these narrators to have made it up what does this
[28:32]hadith say this hadith what is it not allahu allah allahu la
[28:36]what does collect I mean he created who's the subject who created
[28:41]Allah subhana WA Ta'ala Allah Allah created water what does bahu Rami
[28:51]pure okay here's the important point la unit just who shade nothing
[28:56]makes it nyjah's la means no it does not unit just solution
[29:06]nothing makes it Naja's except the prophet sallallahu alehiwassallaam in strings in
[29:10]la marea Obama who Ilona who our our a hotter what does
[29:21]Daimaru mean taste by her smell loud color so we have three
[29:30]things aha loan the prophet sallallaahu yada says water is pure nothing
[29:49]contaminates it in the sense that it makes it not just accept
[29:53]if one of three changes L&U a hero who unless something changes
[30:03]it either its taste changes balm is taste or its raha raha
[30:08]is it smell number three its load its color so if the
[30:14]color of the water changes the smell of the water changes the
[30:18]taste of the water changes then that part of the water is
[30:21]ninjas so if you have a river and in one part of
[30:26]the river you've got the you've got the colour of blood it's
[30:35]red that part is ninjas or it has the smell of blood
[30:39]very distinct smell of blood it's nudges or you have what the
[30:48]taste it tastes like blood you don't see any color you don't
[30:51]detect any smell but when you taste it it tastes like blood
[30:54]that you consider ninjas that part of it the other unaffected areas
[31:08]that's fine we consider them to be alive yes so anything so
[31:17]anything that people consider to be having the taste of blood or
[31:23]let's say alcohol which is ninjas it tastes like wine tastes like
[31:31]alcohol that affected area will be ninjas so whatever the people consider
[31:36]it now if the water is high in iron and you know
[31:39]let's say that somehow makes it taste like blood what are the
[31:45]people consider it if the people say look we are detect the
[31:47]taste of blood here I don't care about iron or any other
[31:56]element it tastes like blood now if this taste was caused by
[32:00]an ijazah we're not saying let's say you have water that you
[32:05]know let's say has some elements that make it taste like blood
[32:08]that water is still pure but let's say Natasha fell in it
[32:10]you saw that Natasha fell in it blood fell in it and
[32:14]one of these three changed you consider that area of the water
[32:17]to be one to be ninjas no that does not make it
[32:27]ninjas we'll see we'll see we'll look at the conditions when does
[32:29]it become ninjas so the Prophet says Alama al abama who alone
[32:38]are hotter that makes it nudges another hadith see the author is
[32:42]showing us hadiths that support this view or support this Islamic law
[32:47]one le mames adovada salaam and nepal inconel ma look at today
[32:55]era if it's the case that water changed rear who in terms
[32:59]of its smell Oh in terms of its taste Salah - rub
[33:05]them up their mom says don't drink while act at our that
[33:08]mean who don't do without from it don't wash yourself from him
[33:15]well let me Italia reefer who if you saw a drop of
[33:18]blood falling in that swimming pool falling in that river but nothing
[33:24]changed yahoo did not change its smell its taste did not change
[33:31]fresh roberto of what they want just drink from it you can
[33:33]do although because you didn't see any visible changes to the water
[33:38]now you could say but scientifically i know the blood is there
[33:41]somewhere it's fine it does not make getting edges because it's negligible
[33:44]it's so negligible it did not change the smell did not change
[33:50]the taste it did not change the color to a visible detectable
[33:53]point then it's tahoe now you could tell me but if I
[33:59]take the water to the lab and I analyze it under the
[34:01]mic I can see the color change that doesn't count has to
[34:05]be by the visible eye if it changes by the visible eye
[34:11]then you consider it to be no just that part is not
[34:14]just another hadith from the imam ali salaam analemma moreover is Salam
[34:22]he says ma will bear the water of a well better is
[34:25]what in Arabic well any well it's called beer or the you
[34:33]know common way of pronouncing is beer people say beer but in
[34:37]Arabic it's bitter now not the English beer there's a different meaning
[34:43]mari was the Imam says the water of a well is vast
[34:51]it's big lie of city who shape nothing can corrupt it meaning
[34:55]make it nudges in an ear today you're a Yahoo unless if
[35:01]it smell changed out or its taste changes say insa what does
[35:06]use that mean that means you have to take water out from
[35:12]the well until you remove the contaminated water and the new water
[35:16]fills in the well such that you no longer detect the smell
[35:22]or the taste so user means you take water from the world
[35:25]you take out water from the world you extract water out of
[35:30]the well because if you takes you know water out of the
[35:33]world you remove the ninjetta that area which is contaminated and new
[35:36]water comes in into the one hot yet hibari way at the
[35:45]bottom the Imam says keep extracting water from the well until you
[35:48]no longer can smell the new Jassa from it the Imam says
[35:56]something very key over here Leonel ahumada why we asked you all
[36:01]Imam why do you say that this water becomes purer because it
[36:08]has a source because the Imam says this phrase scholars said anything
[36:15]that has a source has the same attributes and features if what
[36:22]if Natasha falls in it you don't say automatically it's not just
[36:25]if it change the color it becomes native and if their color
[36:27]you remove the color it becomes the hair again what's the proof
[36:32]of all of this the words of an imam rabbani Salam he
[36:37]gives us the reasoning the philosophy he says because it has a
[36:41]source and whatever the Imam or the prophet in a hadith tells
[36:45]you the reasoning then you can take that reasoning and apply it
[36:51]to other cases and you can safely say any water that has
[36:54]a source whether it's well water or running water or anything else
[36:59]it has the same characteristics and features because the Imam told us
[37:04]why do we treat a well water like that because it has
[37:09]a source so we know that the real he'll come the real
[37:11]ruling is around one water that has a source and the Imam
[37:17]used what water as just an example in Arabic we call this
[37:20]the Ilah the reasoning for a hukum the reasoning for an Islamic
[37:26]law and the Imam he himself is mentioning that is that clear
[37:30]okay now the author says if we get water that has a
[37:41]new Jassa that falls into it we have three scenarios what are
[37:47]filled my inner just if you have no gesture that falls in
[37:50]water say LaValley Kahala you have several scenarios Hallett means scenarios conditions
[37:56]or States the first one is that the water stays pure if
[38:02]there are no changes to it and taka an ijazah to filmer
[38:07]FEMA and neither water that has a source well is a layer
[38:14]basada be Hollow know what a Dharma what are you you have
[38:18]water that has a source and ain't a joseph falls in it
[38:26]but nothing changes the taste doesn't really change the smell doesn't change
[38:30]like a swimming pool and that's another that's one example even though
[38:34]a swimming pool doesn't have a source but its core water if
[38:38]you have a a drop of blood falling in a swimming pool
[38:43]does it change the color of the swimming pool no does it
[38:47]change the taste of the water no does it change the smell
[38:49]of the water no just one drop he says this water is
[38:53]pure yes brother they do have chlorine in it but does that
[39:00]make it mixed water or people still consider it plain water it's
[39:05]still considered plain water so we treat it as plain water even
[39:07]if as chlorine in it that's fine people still consider it as
[39:10]a type of plain water it's not like a juice right so
[39:15]in this first paragraph in you know state number one or scenario
[39:20]number one he says that any water that has a source whether
[39:27]the quantity of the water is big or small doesn't matter as
[39:30]long as it has a source if a Najjar falls in it
[39:34]and it does not change one of these three smell color taste
[39:39]what do you consider the water completely pure even if you know
[39:43]for sure that the new jaws are still in there and you
[39:46]could tell yourself look if I drink all this water I know
[39:49]that blood will be ingested by me still fine Islamically you could
[39:54]drink it you could do all of it it's considered pure that's
[39:59]the first state or the first scenario any questions about this first
[40:04]scenario okay let's go to the second one number two and an
[40:09]ijazah to filmer then there Josef falls chuck that means what falls
[40:17]into the water way at AER Tahu it's taste changes lone ooh-hoo
[40:22]it's color changes out or it smell changes what happens in this
[40:27]case if one of these three change fan who yen just build
[40:34]it - he says we have two proofs that this becomes nudges
[40:38]the first proof is it to fob what does the word that
[40:44]- fat and Arabic mean agreement consensus edge ma the consensus of
[40:49]scholars is that if one of these three changes the water becomes
[40:53]what nudges that's number one number two when little wired muchas fatima
[40:59]and for the hadith or a wire that we just mentioned he
[41:02]mentioned three narrations one by the Prophet one family massage that one
[41:06]from Alabama Rama right he says these three narrations tell us that
[41:10]whenever one of these three changes it becomes ninjas so these are
[41:15]two proofs and if you don't accept our wire for whatever reason
[41:18]even though one of them is Matata then Iijima the consensus of
[41:21]scholars is that this becomes ninjas and this doesn't matter whether the
[41:29]water is big in quantity small in quantity it's flowing it's not
[41:33]flowing it has a source it doesn't have a source any water
[41:38]that you can visibly see it changed by then Ajanta obviously you
[41:40]can't drink it obviously you can't do will do with it right
[41:43]in that particular area yes now if the water is little all
[41:49]of it becomes ninjas even those unaffected areas if it's big only
[41:53]the affected areas become ninjas but the point is can you drink
[41:57]water that's color has been changed and the color is still changed
[42:02]right now can you drink it no you cannot can you do
[42:04]with all that will do with it no you cannot so this
[42:09]is the second type now there are three conditions that we will
[42:14]mention one does a water become neji's when it's color changes or
[42:22]its smell changes or its taste changes there are three conditions will
[42:26]end with these conditions let's pay attention to these conditions they're important
[42:33]conditions he says what startup I'll focus on what does that mean
[42:37]first of all what this hot mean scholars of Islamic law we
[42:41]call them what fokaha startup that means one they have stipulated as
[42:47]a condition because Charlaine Arabic means what condition so when he says
[42:52]Ashtaroth or fokaha he is telling us that the scholars the majority
[42:56]of them or literally all scholars they have mentioned these conditions what
[43:05]are they number one this water that is affected by the Najah
[43:11]said it should be affected by coming into direct contact with the
[43:15]water if there is no direct contact and it was still able
[43:22]to influence it it does not make it ninjas an example you
[43:24]have standing or still water and you have a carcass next to
[43:30]it the body of a dead animal that is rotten you've seen
[43:33]the stench that comes from it let's say that stench affects the
[43:40]standing water that is a yard away from it but that dead
[43:43]body does not touch the water there's no mula thought it doesn't
[43:49]meet the water it doesn't encounter the water but the stench of
[43:53]it changes the smell of the water does that make the water
[44:01]in edges no because the first criteria for it to become ninjas
[44:06]is that the Najah say came into direct contact with it or
[44:10]let's say you have a pool of blood just next to that
[44:15]standing water and be blue and the smell of the blood is
[44:20]so strong you know it was able to change the smell of
[44:22]the standing water it makes it made it smell like blood does
[44:29]that make it an edge as' no it does not make images
[44:34]yes brother even if the water smells like metal that does not
[44:38]make it ninjas even if it tastes like as long as then
[44:44]ajasa did not directly come into contact with it it stays pure
[44:47]you could say but I am smelling the blood it's okay the
[44:51]blood didn't come into contact with it directly so it did not
[44:56]make it ninjas that's the first condition what is the second condition
[45:01]the second condition is that we said if the water changes color
[45:07]after meaning than ajasa if the water changes color what happens to
[45:13]it is it pure or becomes nudges but it becomes not just
[45:17]that area that's affected becomes impure right which color are we talking
[45:22]about the color of the neji's not the color of them with
[45:32]ten edges we have two things we have neji's and we have
[45:36]more ten edges they sound similar right can someone tell us the
[45:44]difference between these two what's the difference between edges and molten edges
[45:56]right neji's is the impurity itself blood urine the ten impurities that
[46:01]we have which will view this which we will discuss that neji's
[46:06]is the source of that impurity the blood itself that you're in
[46:12]itself what do we call that neji's them were 10 edges as
[46:20]that liquid which was contaminated by the edges so if I have
[46:25]a bottle of water and a drop of blood comes into contact
[46:31]with it the water the clear water becomes what becomes red right
[46:38]but that redness is from what from the blood so I treat
[46:44]this as what as nudges but let's say I have honey I
[46:46]have a jar of honey one what's the color of honey yellow
[46:54]let's give another example I have a bottle of juice orange juice
[46:59]what's the color of it orange a drop of blood falls into
[47:05]that now you have juice that is what contaminated what do we
[47:14]call the juice we call the Jews with mood Motel edges the
[47:17]juice is technically not neji's because it's not blood only the ten
[47:22]digits are ninjas blood is not just your it is ninjas the
[47:28]other ninjas are ninjas the ten that we will discuss later but
[47:32]the orange juice itself is not net just because orange juice is
[47:36]just not edges it's more ten edges it has been made impure
[47:42]because it touched blood so do you see the difference between Neji
[47:47]switches blood and muta ninja switch is the orange juice was hat
[47:51]which has been contaminated orange juice by itself is not ninjas right
[47:56]it needs something to make it an edges but blood does something
[47:59]else have to make it not just or it's automatically just nudges
[48:04]it's automatically just ninjas so anything that automatically by its nature is
[48:08]not just we call it what edges and anything which by its
[48:14]nature is not ninjas but because of an ijazah it becomes nudges
[48:20]by contacting that Natasa we call it what what's a ninjas that
[48:30]just can but it has slightly different rules but here in the
[48:35]condition that we're discussing here's the difference let's say I have a
[48:40]pool of water and I get that orange juice which is contaminated
[48:45]and I pour the orange juice into one corner of the when
[48:50]you look at that corner you see it yellow so the color
[48:56]changed into one yellow does that make does this make it neji's
[48:59]no because the color yellow is the color of what it's the
[49:05]color of oranges it's not the color of blood and the color
[49:09]of the natasha makes the pool nyjah's not the color of the
[49:14]motel edges so when a color changes you have to examine which
[49:22]color changed is it because the juice is yellow and that's what
[49:26]made the pool change or when you taste that corner it tastes
[49:32]like orange juice does that make it an edge s no as
[49:34]long as you're not detecting the color of blood or the taste
[49:41]of blood or the smell of blood it's considered pure but you
[49:45]could say look look the orange juice is all over the place
[49:49]in the pool it's okay as long as you're not detecting the
[49:51]original neji's which made the orange juice nyjah's then it's pure we
[50:01]could call it primary or secondary if the color that changed was
[50:06]changed by the primary one that area is ninjas if it was
[50:09]changed by the secondary one what do you consider it its thought
[50:15]that's pure does this make sense is this clear okay let's say
[50:26]if you have pomegranate juice which is red it looks like blood
[50:32]and when you see the color is it the color of blood
[50:37]or is it the color of pomegranate if you're sure it's the
[50:40]color of blood let's say you had a way to figure out
[50:45]what cut which color it was if you're sure it's the color
[50:49]of blood you consider it ninjas if you're sure that it's the
[50:52]color of pomegranate you consider it pure what if you have check
[50:55]you have doubt if you have doubt you can assume it's not
[51:01]the color of blood through the law of Canton because a second
[51:04]ago there was no color of blood there I don't know now
[51:09]after this redness if the color of blood is there you apply
[51:12]the law of continuity and you say it's pure and Charlotte's not
[51:17]blood is this clear it's just complicated yes brother if it goes
[51:35]into something pure what type of water is it is it like
[51:41]a swimming pool if it's a big swimming pool and you get
[51:43]a net jizz and it Oromo 10 edges in it which one
[51:46]if you get them with 10 edges in it but they're ninjas
[51:50]the original net just the primary one you can't detect it anymore
[51:54]it does not contaminate however however if I have orange juice that
[51:58]is molten edges a drop of blood fell in orange juice in
[52:03]a container of orange juice does that make it not just it
[52:06]makes it ninjas if you have orange juice and one single drop
[52:08]falls in it it makes it nature's and it becomes what what's
[52:12]an endless if this would turn that just touches my water bottle
[52:15]it falls into this little water I leave it makes this ninjas
[52:21]as well because this is Kylene water whereas we were discussing water
[52:25]that has a source right we're discussing water that's coral or it's
[52:31]running water but if you're dealing with water that is a lead
[52:40]and make certain edges so this was the second condition and the
[52:45]third condition very briefly that change we already discussed this that change
[52:51]that happens in the water in its color and its taste in
[52:55]its smell it has to be palpable and visible to your senses
[52:59]so don't take the water to the lab and tell me look
[53:04]I could see the traces of blood it doesn't count as long
[53:08]as you physically with your senses you can't see the blood you
[53:13]can't really smell the blood you can't really taste the blood you
[53:17]assume that the blood is just not there because obviously if a
[53:21]blood falls in a swimming pool it's not going to evaporate it
[53:25]gets mixed with the water you can trace it in a lab
[53:27]right small parts in every drop of water that doesn't count in
[53:33]Islamic law in Islamic law that's negligible as long as with your
[53:36]physical senses you can't detect it you consider it to be a
[53:41]power so if you're feeding your swimming pool a drop of blood
[53:45]falls in fact let's say a cup of blood falls let's say
[53:51]a child goes in urinates in it you come 10 minutes later
[53:53]you don't detect anything in this swimming pool I don't smell anything
[53:57]I don't see any color changes the color of urine according to
[54:04]Islamic law what do you consider this swimming pool all of it
[54:07]behind all of it pure remember Allah wants to make this easy
[54:12]for us because if you want to consider the lab if somebody
[54:20]puts a small Natasha and Lake eerie or Ontario or superior you
[54:23]make all of it not just there because scientifically you could trace
[54:26]it right it's still considered it's still considered Baja for for the
[54:35]purposes of whistle yeah it's good you know for hygienic purposes to
[54:42]find a better water source but for the sake of making this
[54:46]easy for us allah subhanaw taala has made this pure ala muhammadin
[54:49]Walia by hearing love
