[0:00]are you CAU for raping English girls you're here defending the people
[0:09]here defending we don't need a TV channel because we've got mosques
[0:16]we have Islamic centers that are always open we have schools teaching
[0:21]Islam hijab is part of a school uniform Islam has come and
[0:24]it's established here in the west and everyone's happy they love us
[0:30]our food our fashion our culture the media is always on our
[0:33]side we've got plenty of English speakers plenty of English books and
[0:36]plenty of places to go and learn in the English language let's
[0:42]be real let's get active be more involved www do Imam Hussein
[0:47]free.tv [Music] [Music] in the name of God the most beneficent the
[1:16]most merciful all praise is due to the Lord master of all
[1:19]the worlds and peace and blessings be on All His prophets and
[1:23]especially his final Prophet The Prophet Muhammad s Al my respected brothers
[1:32]and sisters welcome back I know many of you thought that the
[1:39]holy month of Ramadan would be the end of our discussions but
[1:44]in answering your requests and in answering all your messages we decided
[1:50]to continue on Imam Hussein TV with the discussions concerning our beliefs
[1:57]within the sh school and how they may have an origin they
[2:01]may have a base they may be referenced in one way or
[2:05]the other in different schools in the history of the religion of
[2:08]Islam and arguably one of these practices that we have as sh
[2:15]which many people ask us about is related to this here in
[2:17]front of me all of you could see this my dear brothers
[2:23]and sisters known as the TBA or the mo or the S
[2:25]the Kaka whatever you want to call this we know very that
[2:32]many Shia are recognized by the fact that they prostrate on this
[2:37]particular piece of Earth I've shown you here different examples and the
[2:42]reason I'm showing this is that also those who are not sh
[2:47]maybe one day if you come across somebody praying in a mosque
[2:50]a mosque of course being the house of Allah subhana wa ta'ala
[2:53]and whilst praying you may wonder why are they prostrating on this
[2:59]why are they they prostrating on this why are they prostrating for
[3:05]example on this here why are they prostrating on this I give
[3:10]these different examples because the pieces of earth that the Shia prostrate
[3:16]on on the first level may come in different shapes and sizes
[3:22]but on the second level without a doubt there are many non
[3:27]who ask us this question that why is it that you don't
[3:30]do what all the other Muslims do and that is prostrate on
[3:37]the prayer mat meaning that your forehead goes directly onto the prayer
[3:43]mat if the other six parts of your body which are seen
[3:50]as obligatory for Salah are all on the prayer mat why is
[3:53]it that you insist that your forehead is on this particular piece
[3:59]of Clay on this particular Earth on this particular Stone there are
[4:06]many times even me myself when I was at University for example
[4:10]where you would see people who would look sometimes confused maybe they've
[4:16]not come across it at the end of the day the Muslim
[4:19]world is a world where there are some who have interacted with
[4:23]Shia and there are some who have not interacted with Shia there
[4:27]are parts of the Muslim world for example where this chba is
[4:32]instantly recognizable and there are other parts of the Muslim world who
[4:35]may not have seen this the reactions come in different ways some
[4:40]reactions I've seen personally are people who've kicked the torba away while
[4:46]you are praying I've seen others who have picked up that torba
[4:51]looking at it and literally placed it back there without even asking
[4:55]why is it that we're prostrating on this piece of clay I've
[4:59]seen others who have also stepped on it blatantly but also at
[5:05]the same time I must admit that recently I've also seen that
[5:11]in certain airport prayer rooms or prayer halls or assigned area for
[5:19]Salah that there are t which are available for people to use
[5:26]in recognition that the sh school of law has its understand understanding
[5:33]of the traditions of of the practices of the companions of alai
[5:40]and therefore we have deduced a legal understanding of what is permissible
[5:47]to be prostrated on and what is not the Hani may have
[5:54]his opinion the Maliki may have his opinion the shaf may have
[5:56]his opinion and the H may have his opinion and it's vital
[6:01]therefore for us as we continue this series that we started in
[6:03]the holy month of Ramadan that we want to make a couple
[6:09]of things clear number one the only way we're going to get
[6:11]to live with each other peacefully is by understanding why we do
[6:15]what we do what is the origin of our practices remember the
[6:21]act of worship that is Salah while it is mentioned in the
[6:28]Quran that one must establish Salah the Quran does not give us
[6:32]all the legal opinions and the nuances that are involved in the
[6:36]way that we practice Salah you'll find some Muslims in the world
[6:41]today who fold their hands in Salah some higher than others some
[6:45]put their hands by their side and these are Muslims who are
[6:51]of the same sect but have different conclusions as to the laws
[6:57]within Salah therefore when we come to our school what is no
[7:01]noticeable within the Shia is that the Shia will always be seen
[7:06]to prostrate on a particular level on this T and on the
[7:12]more General level on that which is seen as coming from the
[7:17]earth when we say that which comes from the earth what do
[7:20]we mean for example something directly from the earth you may have
[7:25]Pebbles I may use sand for example which I may use soil
[7:33]which I may use I may even go further than this and
[7:35]I may go towards paper or leaves as you see some Shia
[7:41]May in front of you place for example a piece of paper
[7:46]and you who may come from the Sunni school May wonder where
[7:49]this originates from why is it that the Shia insist that they
[7:54]pright on the earth and not something for example like the prayer
[8:00]mat which we see today many of the prayer mats we see
[8:04]today you will see that the Shia will prostrate with the six
[8:10]parts of the body but the forehead they will always ensure is
[8:13]on something that is from the earth originates from the earth that
[8:20]which cannot be worn or that which cannot be eaten someone says
[8:23]is this the sun of because ultimately we are all seeking to
[8:32]follow the of did pray on Earth or did he not pray
[8:39]on Earth did pray on that which could be worn or that
[8:45]which could be eaten or did he pray on that which came
[8:52]from the natural part of the earth this is what we are
[8:58]looking to see when we examine the Hadith lit lature the first
[9:02]point that has to be made when a person asks me why
[9:07]do you sh prostrate on the earth is because we see that
[9:10]our holy prophet peace be upon his family on numerous occasions would
[9:13]repeat that the Earth has been made a place for prostration and
[9:20]for purification everyone at home please join me over here as we
[9:26]return back towards where as we return back towards the books of
[9:29]come with me my dear brothers and sisters all of you at
[9:34]home join me again let's come into this particular book all of
[9:38]you know of course Arabic English volume one 1 to 875 translated
[9:48]by Dr Muhammad M Khan if we come over here you could
[9:53]all see Dr Muhammad Ms Khan formerly director University Hospital Islamic University
[10:03]and we could see that the year of the print is what
[10:09]printed in July 1997 printing supervised by Abdul Malik mujahid if everyone
[10:15]comes with me in this particular section you will see thisi of
[10:22]the book of course isab Salah the book of Salah the book
[10:28]of prayer page 280 number 56th chapter the saying of the Prophet
[10:33]the Earth has been made for me a Masjid place for praying
[10:40]and a thing to purify to perform 438 narrated who it is
[10:57]narrated from who said Allah's messenger said I have been given five
[11:05]things which were not given to any amongst the prophets before me
[11:09]Allah has made it clear that I've been given five things which
[11:13]have not been given to the prophets before me what are they
[11:17]these are number one Allah made me Victorious by a by his
[11:22]frightening my enemies for a distance of one month's journey and here
[11:28]comes the most important part number two the Earth has been made
[11:33]for me and for my followers a mjid meaning place for praying
[11:38]and the thing to purify brackets perform therefore anyone of my followers
[11:45]can offer prayers wherever he is at the time of a Salah
[11:51]my dear brothers sisters for me as a she when I'm prostrating
[11:58]here in on Earth it's because said that the Earth has been
[12:11]made a place of what of prostration and of purification the Earth
[12:16]we know is a purifier if I don't have the water for
[12:20]w what do I do I do everybody knows this but at
[12:25]the same time the Earth has been made a place for sujud
[12:28]that means wherever I am in the world there is Earth in
[12:34]front of me I can prostrate on that Earth that which has
[12:38]come from the earth if I see clay there that which is
[12:43]natural cannot be worn cannot be eaten then that is something which
[12:46]I'm able to prostrate on therefore here if we come back to
[12:54]theth says the earth look what he says over here the Earth
[13:02]has been made a place for what for my followers a Masjid
[13:08]place for praying this is also repeated my dear brothers and sisters
[13:12]in this particular reference over here if you come over here to
[13:16]this reference all of you know that one of the six that
[13:21]we kept on looking at was which one the fifth correct tradition
[13:29]of the prophetic Sunnah what did we say in Shah Ramadan just
[13:33]as a reminder we have musl Abu da and Ma come back
[13:40]here the fifth correct tradition of the prophetic Sunnah translated by who
[13:46]Muhammad Mah Sharif the English Arabic text volume one when we look
[13:55]over here it is published by who by which is where look
[14:01]over here my dear brothers sisters established by Muhammad aliun 1971 Beirut
[14:08]Lebanon come over here let us see and you will see over
[14:17]here the publisher Pages 2592 four volumes the year 2008 printed in
[14:26]Lebanon addition first edition come with me to page 316 and you
[14:32]will see that again we have this tradition which highlights that the
[14:36]Earth has been made a place of sujud for us come to
[14:41]page 156 my dear brothers and sisters on page 156 over here
[14:49]or page 316 I should say 156 the book of mosques come
[14:52]down over here my dear brothers and sisters 42 the concession pertaining
[14:59]to that theith which is about on number 42 you will see
[15:08]733 it is narrated on the authority of Ja abdah that he
[15:14]said the messenger of Allah said the Earth has been made pure
[15:19]therefore one should practice tum in case there is no water and
[15:25]place of prayer for me so whenever the time of the prayer
[15:27]comes upon any one of my nation he should pray wherever he
[15:33]is the earth therefore for us is established as a place for
[15:38]prayer when I am going to prostrate my school takes the conclusion
[15:45]that the Earth on the base level is the place for prostration
[15:49]it has been made a place of prostration for the holy prophet
[15:54]peace be upon him and his family someone says where exactly is
[16:00]this mentioned is this clear within the Traditions that the companions of
[16:05]the Prophet sallallahu alaih did they used to do sud on the
[16:08]earth because if the companions didn't do suud on the earth or
[16:11]didn't do suud on the earth or on clay or on stones
[16:16]or on Pebbles then why are you sh doing it but what
[16:20]we see is from a number of traditions that either the prophet
[16:23]peace be upon him in his family all the companions themselves all
[16:26]others who surrounded them would recognize that prostration would be done on
[16:34]the earth someone says to me give me an example of where
[16:37]if I bring Nas back again let us go to again my
[16:42]dear brothers and sisters again over here all of you could see
[16:46]we go back to when we come back to I want us
[16:53]on the same edition of N I want us to go to
[16:55]this particular area page 23 2 you come to page 232 and
[17:04]you see this very interesting tradition over here page 2 32 here
[17:11]over here 468 if you come with me to this tradition where
[17:18]at number 1078 it has an interesting title cooling gravel to prostrate
[17:28]on it if you want to call the this gravel you're more
[17:31]than welcome if you want to call it clay you're more than
[17:36]welcome if you want to call it Earth you're more than welcome
[17:38]if you want to call it a stone you're more than welcome
[17:44]today I will show you how your companions learned from your Prophet
[17:49]peace be upon him and his family to prostrate on the earth
[17:53]look what it says come back please 1078 it is narrated on
[18:02]the authority of he said we used to offer prayer with the
[18:06]messenger of Allah and it was my Habit to pick up a
[18:11]handful of gravel with my hand to cool and then transfer it
[18:19]into the other hand so that whenever I fell in prostration I
[18:24]would place them before my forehead the actions of the sahab is
[18:34]a for us or no are the actions of the sahab a
[18:39]for us if the actions of the sah I'm sure you will
[18:43]admit jaah is one of the greatest Companions of R alai a
[18:48]companion whose father was killed in the Battle of Defending s alai
[18:52]a companion who was present withu and went on to live for
[19:01]many years after Allah maybe 50 60 years after Allah s alai
[19:05]has passed away jab continues to live and narrate jab will teach
[19:10]us how to pray oh jabber what did you use to prostrate
[19:17]on listen to what jabber tells us jab tells us that I
[19:31]would take some Hass what is Hass some gravel some Stone what
[19:38]is this over here when you looked at Shia prostrating on this
[19:43]how many of you said you muss you pagans you Stone worshippers
[19:46]so would you say that about jaah when he used to prostrate
[19:55]on gravel jab had the pleasure of having straw mats available at
[20:00]the time which we will come to very shortly but abdah says
[20:07]we were praying was extremely hot for the companions when they used
[20:35]to pray unbelievably hot but the companions knew that prostration could only
[20:39]be done on the earth if prostration can only be done on
[20:43]the earth or something directly from the earth they were taking some
[20:52]gravel you as a Muslim today have the option of praying on
[20:57]some gravel and no one can stop you if now I have
[21:01]this gravel in front of me and I want to prostrate on
[21:03]it there's nothing to stop me there were even some companions who
[21:07]ended up carrying a certain amount of mud or Earth or gravel
[21:14]with them when they travel ask M's companion Mas about what he
[21:17]would travel with because sometimes someone can turn around and say that
[21:21]yeah if there's some gravel or stone in front of you prostrate
[21:26]could have easily turned around to alai and could have easily said
[21:32]that look it's so hot do we have to prostrate on these
[21:39]can't we just for example find some cloth that we'd place in
[21:45]our way and one may argue that we would see that if
[21:47]it became difficult circumstances that maybe then the cloth may be placed
[21:52]because at the end of the day we don't want this forehead
[21:55]burning butd mentions that we were allowed to hold this while we
[22:01]were praying what you see today I'm allowed to hold it it
[22:07]may be for example at that time it was too hot so
[22:11]I move it from the right arm to the left arm if
[22:14]you're holding it in the right arm and you're holding on the
[22:16]left arm I'm wondering whether you're praying like this or you're praying
[22:19]like this because if you're moving it how are you moving it
[22:22]exactly if you're praying like this that's besides the point abdah is
[22:27]saying over here that we used to that when I would fall
[22:39]in prostration look over here what does it say when I would
[22:42]fall in prostration zoom into the Hadith you will all see very
[22:47]clearly that if you look into the Hadith you will see my
[22:50]dear brothers and sisters that what does it say it says that
[22:53]whenever I fell in frustration I would place them before my forehead
[23:01]what would I place before my forehead would Place some Pebbles I
[23:06]would Place some Earth why not just put some prayer mat there
[23:12]or the question was were there the same prayer mats that we
[23:15]see in MJ today as there was then or were those types
[23:19]of prayer mats mats that came later I'm not going to deny
[23:21]that there may have been short prayer match where was praying on
[23:27]at the time but jab is saying that we the comp of
[23:30]what are we doing we are the ones who are prostrating where
[23:35]we're prostrating on gravel I am placing my head in sujud on
[23:40]what on the gravel is this only here no it's not let
[23:45]me take you to sah Muslim my dear brothers and sisters come
[23:50]with me to sah Muslim all of you and all of you
[23:54]look at this Edition my dear brothers and sisters look over here
[24:00]English trans translation ofah Muslim compiled by IM Hussein Muslim and volume
[24:08]two from a Hadith number 1161 to 2262 ath which are what
[24:18]aith which are edited and referenced by Abu Zu Ali translated by
[24:29]who by final review by Abu come over here volume two you
[24:38]could all see clearly volume two AI edited research referenced by look
[24:43]over here first edition June 2007 supervised by Abdul Malik mujah everybody
[24:49]please come with me to this page here we have another companion
[24:56]of teaching us how taught them and what they should do on
[25:08]when we come over here page 122 you could see and the
[25:17]places of prayer 1471 91620 it was narrated that an bin Malik
[25:23]said we used to pray the prayer with the m messenger of
[25:31]Allah when it was intensely hot and if one of us could
[25:37]not place his forehead firmly on the ground he would spread out
[25:42]His Garment and prostrate on it notice here an important point that
[25:46]the first point of call for sujud was what was on the
[25:55]ground look over here come back notice over here my dear brothers
[26:17]and sisters that we used to pray with the messenger of Allah
[26:19]when he was in T and if one of us could not
[26:24]place his forehead firmly on the ground if in exceptional circumstances one
[26:29]of us could not place his forehead on the ground only then
[26:36]come back he would spread out His Garment and prostrate on it
[26:40]which means that the companions of used to prostrate we have mentioned
[26:46]two words now before we mentioned this time gravel Stone AR Earth
[26:57]the sh when we prostrate what are we prostrating on aren't we
[27:01]prostrating on the earth aren't we prostrating on the stone you called
[27:05]us mushriks Liars pagans ra cers I am doing what Anin Malik
[27:14]andd are telling me the way the companions used to pray with
[27:22]and that's why I'm mystified wall that when somebody asks of these
[27:30]scholars in the non Shia World about the Shia praying on the
[27:33]earth or on the stone instead of that scholar saying that look
[27:41]in bukari or in Muslim or in or inin Malik or ja
[27:44]abdah are all saying that used to prostrate on the earth or
[27:50]used to prostrate on Stone or used to prostrate on the Pebbles
[27:55]instead we go to this clip clip number one I am flabber
[27:58]Ed how a scholar sits to answer questions of the people very
[28:06]simple question about why is it that the Shia in their sujud
[28:09]prostrate on the earth or on Stone or on gravel or on
[28:14]that which comes from the earth look at this clip clip number
[28:16]one please play it and see this Scholar's answer alhim Muhammad from
[28:26]America uh yes sh am alikum alaykum uh sh I had a
[28:35]question I wanted to ask on behalf of my friend he's from
[28:37]the Shia I believe so he had a question about praying on
[28:42]the turba the turba the stone so I told him that the
[28:48]prophet never prayed on the turba it was maybe concrete or maybe
[28:51]it was Earthly soil but it was never the T and he
[28:55]just had some questions about it and he wasn't uh believing in
[28:58]me so if can just give us some knowledge about this issue
[29:03]well it's a Nob brainer it's totally a Nob brainer shiaism was
[29:10]not present at the time of the Prophet Alam nor Abu Bakr
[29:16]nor Omar Norman and Ali may Allah be pleased with him fought
[29:20]them and he burned some of them alive so this is not
[29:28]an issue of dis this is well documented secondly in the Quran
[29:33]if they are Muslims Allah says today I have completed your religion
[29:41]so the religion of Islam has been completed at the lifetime of
[29:48]the Prophet Alat any such blatant lie or claim that this is
[29:54]part of the religion which was not practiced by the prophet Alam
[29:58]is falsified by the Quran Allah says the religion is complete you
[30:04]come after a 100 years and say oops no no no there
[30:06]are few things we have to add to it you have to
[30:11]uh hit yourself with chains and knives and bleed you have to
[30:17]pray on a turba or a small piece of Stone from carala
[30:19]okay did the prophet ever do such a thing no the companions
[30:27]no so is it part of Islam yes dire wrong answer Allah
[30:33]says in the Quran unless of course you don't believe in our
[30:41]Quran as the uh uh super Shia of ra say and claim
[30:43]they say the Quran you have is not authentic mus is 70
[30:49]times larger and bigger than it and there is not a single
[30:52]letter of your Quran in it what kind of blasphemy is this
[30:59]so my advice to you do not associate with Shia and do
[31:06]not befriend with them because they have a different religion and they
[31:11]would not rest until they manage to move you out of your
[31:14]conviction and belief you are as a Muslim have the Quran which
[31:19]has been there for 15 centuries and you believe the Sunnah which
[31:23]99% of the Muslims abide and believe in it and alhamdulillah our
[31:29]religion is the vastest fastest growing religion in the world and the
[31:35]Muslims the sunnies those who follow the Quran Sunnah are whom you
[31:39]know so don't go to such minorities who would like to uh
[31:46]score a point but it's already out of the game time so
[31:53]scoring the point when the bazzer has gone it doesn't help at
[31:57]all stay with Muslims and abide by them 24/7 surround yourself with
[32:01]them and leave those people of innovation Allah knows best um I'm
[32:10]flabbergasted with such answers and I'm telling you that if a sh
[32:13]spoke like that we would be hearing accusations of sectarianism and disunity
[32:20]all night long I don't know what he meant by scoring a
[32:28]point and that the Shia minority and the buzzer is gone be
[32:34]true to the literature that I've quoted I've quoted your literature I've
[32:39]quoted your companions who you are taking the Sunnah of from I
[32:46]have not even opened I have not opened any of our works
[32:51]where we may refer to how prostration is to be done on
[32:57]what prostration is to be done the tradition of the IMs of
[33:00]who are for us a in understanding the teachings of I open
[33:07]and I open Muslim and I open and all I found in
[33:14]a conclusion was that the companions of were prostrating on Earth on
[33:21]Stone or on gravel all I saw from the ANS of was
[33:28]somebody who wanted to divert the whole attention away from answering the
[33:37]person's question to Simply a allout attack on the Shia why not
[33:44]have the ability to say that the Shia their basis of understanding
[33:48]frustrating on the earth or that which comes from the Earth was
[33:52]because they read that the actions of certain sahaba was that they
[33:57]were prostrating on the Earth rather than prostrating on the carpets that
[34:02]we have today in for example Mas nawi these carpets that you
[34:05]have in Mas nawi when did they come into M Nai the
[34:11]same carpets we're not talking the straw mat they came what 90
[34:16]years after Al died 100 years after 150 200 whatever figure you
[34:21]want to put the reality is that the companions of alai were
[34:26]recognized for their prostration on Earth which sometimes got too hot for
[34:32]them only then would they Place cloth in front of them Let's
[34:41]us go here to this Hadith again let's go to my dear
[34:44]brothers and sisters if we go to alari I'd like us to
[34:48]go to volume two all of you come here and join me
[34:53]volume two of ath 876 to 1772 translated by Dr Muhammad M
[35:04]Khan if we come over here we will see printed where in
[35:08]RI Kingdom of Saudi Arabia printed in July 1997 printing supervised by
[35:17]Abdul Malik mujahid when we come here I would like us all
[35:22]to go please to page 10 if we come together all of
[35:27]us here to Hadith number 1067 there is this tradition that you
[35:32]will all see the book of prostration during the recitation of the
[35:40]Quran page 117 you will see here 17 the book of prostration
[35:47]during the recitation of Quran chapter what is said about the prostrations
[35:53]during the recitation of the Quran and its legal way 1067 narrated
[36:01]who this time it's Abdullah Mas the prophet recited which Surah he
[36:09]recited Surah 53 of the Quran at mecah and prostrated while reciting
[36:16]it and those who were with him did the same except an
[36:19]old man who took a handful of small stones or Earth and
[36:25]lifted it to his forehead and said this is sufficient for me
[36:30]notice here again we have this practice that exists amongst those surrounding
[36:38]of prostrating on what come back look what the Arabic says either
[36:53]he took some a handful in fact okay so you've got this
[37:03]ke which exists over here of what you have this handful of
[37:11]hassa and of T and this person took a handful of small
[37:25]stones or Earth and lifted it to his forehead and said this
[37:32]is sufficient for me have you yet come across a Hadith except
[37:36]that Abdullah Mas or ja abdah alari or anbin Malik all of
[37:44]them when talking about suud talk about how either stones or Earth
[37:49]or gravel was where the forehead would be placed why this focus
[37:57]on the forehead on the earth why not for example the forehead
[38:01]to be placed on that which could be worn for example someone
[38:07]could get their prayer mat that like we have today and a
[38:10]material which you could wear for example and place your forehead on
[38:13]the S someone will say why are you Muslims being so petty
[38:18]whether you prostrate on Earth or not on Earth I'd like to
[38:21]go to this clip clip number two Dr Kali over here who
[38:26]is not Shia but who gives us some insight as to the
[38:28]wisdom as to why I every day in my Salah prostrate on
[38:35]this piece of Earth why every day in my Salah my IMS
[38:43]the imams of have taught me why taught us to prostrate on
[38:51]the earth and not on that which could be warn like what
[38:53]many Muslims tend to place their forehead on today Dr Kay Ali
[39:00]has a number of interesting insights as a scholar who looks at
[39:04]different angles of interpretations of that which is in the Quran and
[39:07]that which is in the Hadith and which is in the practices
[39:12]of the Muslims but what he says in this clip is of
[39:14]the utmost importance let us please play clip number two n for
[40:28]Dr makes it clear that even if you think of the ay
[40:36]he said that the prophet peace be upon's family did not allow
[40:42]for this carpet that we see today where people prostrate on that
[40:46]was not in the prophetic mosque until many years later and he
[40:51]talks about the importance of the forehead touching the Earth because when
[40:56]someone asks him that I may have a particular pain in my
[41:03]head people have headaches people have migraines he points to the fact
[41:08]that you must understand the science behind why told us and every
[41:18]companion without fail prostrate and place that forehead on the earth there
[41:24]is a biological significance there is a spiritual significance there are a
[41:30]number of different philosophies as to why Al would do this and
[41:34]that's why Dr kayali turns around and says that every companion of
[41:41]without fail would prostrate on the earth there were medical benefits to
[41:51]the touching of the forehead on the earth and that he would
[41:57]reference Bashi as well in this reference therefore you would find that
[42:02]the companions amongst each other their first Resort whether it's the Hadith
[42:07]of jab or Abdullah Mas or it is the Hadith of who
[42:11]or it's the Hadith of anbin Malik you would see that the
[42:13]companions would all be prostrating on the earth come with me again
[42:19]my dear brothers and sisters to let's all go toah alkari over
[42:28]here volume one ofah alari ath 1 to 875 and you will
[42:34]see here printed in July 1997 printing supervised by who the printing
[42:39]was supervised by Abdul Malik mujahid published where riam Publishers and Distributors
[42:48]come with me over here to page if we all come together
[42:52]my dear brothers and sisters near page 4 52 you will see
[43:01]this lengthy tradition which has a very clear title for all of
[43:04]us to see I have mention the word and now I'm going
[43:11]to add one more just look over here on page 451 you
[43:15]ask me why do the Shia prostrate on Earth Earth why some
[43:24]Shia prostrate on gravel H why is it that some some of
[43:27]the Shia for example we will see them prostrating on clay or
[43:33]mud look at the T look at this particular chapter 135 over
[43:38]here my dear brothers and sisters chapter this is this is not
[43:47]a sh book this is come back 135 chapter to prostrate on
[43:52]the nose and in the mud B where are we now prostration
[44:11]on we've done prostration on gravel so now mud gravel Earth all
[44:16]of them have been mentioned in Muslim and people tell us you
[44:25]Shia worship stones come come let's read come join me let's go
[44:31]back 813 narrated who my dear brothers and sisters narrated AB Sal
[44:36]what does he say once I went to and asked him won't
[44:47]you come with us to the date palm trees to have a
[44:52]talk so Abu went out and I asked him tell me what
[44:54]you heard from the prophet Sall about the night of ab replied
[45:03]once Allah's messenger performed seclusion on the first 10 days of the
[45:11]month of Ramadan and we did the same with him jbra came
[45:20]to him and said the night you are looking for is ahead
[45:26]of you so the prophet per performed the in the middle 10
[45:30]days of the month of Ramadan and we too performed with him
[45:36]jbra came to him and said the night which you are looking
[45:39]for is ahead of you in the morning of the 20th of
[45:43]Ramadan the prophet Sall delivered a religious talk saying Whoever has performed
[45:51]with me should continue it I have been shown the night of
[45:55]but have forgotten its day but it is in the odd nights
[46:01]of the last 10 nights I saw in my dream that I
[46:08]was prostrating in mud and water I saw in my dream I
[46:18]saw in my dream that I was frustrating in mud and water
[46:25]in those days the roof of the mosques was made of branches
[46:29]of date palm trees at the time the sky was clear and
[46:34]no Cloud was visible but suddenly a cloud came and it trained
[46:43]the prophet led us in the Salah and I saw the traces
[46:45]of mud on the forehead and on the nose of Allah's messenger
[46:53]so it was the confirmation of that dream abdah an bin Malik
[47:07]Abdullah Bin Mas Abu Al each and every one of them has
[47:14]discussed how used to prostrate on mud Earth the ground Stone clay
[47:30]here in this Hadith look how clear the prophet led us in
[47:38]the Salah and I saw the traces of mud on the forehead
[47:43]traces of carpet No traces of a s no traces of a
[47:56]mat made from Palm fiber yes used to pray on a mat
[48:02]what we see is the or we see as the he used
[48:08]to pray prostration on that straw mat mat from the Palm fiber
[48:12]because it is that which has come from the earth natural not
[48:15]something that can be worn or something that could be eaten but
[48:22]here put the or put the and put all of these aside
[48:24]what does it say say until I saw the traces of mud
[48:41]on the forehead and on the nose of Allah's Messenger s therefore
[48:48]from now on when someone asks you as a sh why do
[48:54]you prostrate on Earth show them the references why on mud show
[48:57]them the references why on Stone show them the references why on
[49:01]Clay show them the references all schools in Islam are trying to
[49:09]reach the of and maybe prostrating on the earth is without a
[49:12]doubt as close to the Sunnah as you'll get some Earth may
[49:18]be higher than others is there earth like M or MWI those
[49:22]and the Earth that surrounds them is Holy because of who It's
[49:25]associated to and anyone Associated to that man buried in Medina then
[49:32]without a doubt the K of Hussein in carala remains of the
[49:37]holiest [Music] come join me on Imam Hussein TV3 to find out
[50:12]who will be behind the wheel
