[0:23]ald inshallah We are continuing with the sermon of Amir the first
[0:36]sermon of which is a sermon that discusses the description of Allah
[0:40]subhah waala the need to have proper because he says the beginning
[0:50]of religion the beginning of religiosity and faith is to have knowledge
[0:55]to know God and then he goes on to describe Allah subhanahu
[1:03]wa taala and he describes Allah and then he describes the creation
[1:10]of Allah and then he describes the heavens and the sky and
[1:14]he talks about the clouds and the rain and how evaporation occurs
[1:19]and then he moves on to talk about the angels inshallah that
[1:23]is what we will try to cover today so the description of
[1:26]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is very important because a lot of times
[1:35]we tend to imagine have an imagination of God that is very
[1:40]far from what Allah subhah wa ta'ala is because we are confined
[1:48]in time and space and place therefore we have this false assumption
[1:52]that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has a body just like we have
[1:54]a body God has a head and hands and legs God has
[1:59]relationships H uh WI and son and and this and that just
[2:04]as we do and this is where you see many groups of
[2:06]religions have gone astray as a result of this anthropomorphism which is
[2:17]attributing um human human qualities to Allah subhah wa tala this is
[2:23]what for example um groups of Christians that say God Jesus is
[2:27]the son of God that means God has a son and this
[2:31]is something that goes against God by definition God is the one
[2:37]who's not in need of anyone God is not in need of
[2:38]anything if Allah has a son then that means God is in
[2:43]need of a son then that means God has a body then
[2:47]that means god there are multiple gods here and there and then
[2:51]the whole issue ofed goes away so we need to be able
[2:58]to understand Allah subhana this requires High intell Ence and it also
[3:04]requires utmost eloquence and these are two qualities that you find with
[3:10]he was the most knowledgeable taught him everything and is it's the
[3:16]compilation of the sermons of and was the most eloquent and as
[3:25]we mentioned in the first session that the author of n the
[3:29]compiler of n the reason why he compiled it was because he
[3:36]wanted to gather all of the eloquent words of Amir of course
[3:38]in the English language when we read about it we're not going
[3:43]to focus on the eloquence because it's hard for an English audience
[3:47]someone who's reading a translation to understand how eloquent it is but
[3:51]for the Arabs for those who appreciate the Arabic language they know
[3:56]that these are words of someone who is gifted someone who's connected
[4:00]with Allah subhana wa tala and this is one of the proofs
[4:05]we mentioned we mentioned he was one of the commentators on one
[4:11]of the most famous commentators there are many commentators over 20 they
[4:14]have written commentaries on on the uh on the sermons of he's
[4:21]not a scholar he says we know that is from IM Ali
[4:27]for several reasons one is that the sermons they have other sources
[4:30]so for example this particular sermon that we're analyzing sermon one it
[4:35]has nine other sources other than um all of the this hu
[4:45]this list right here some of them are sh some of them
[4:47]are non they have narrated The Sermon from so we know that
[4:53]since there are multiple chains there are multiple ways that this sermon
[4:57]has been delivered to us we know that this sermon goes back
[4:59]to this is one and second the eloquence we mentioned we mentioned
[5:05]in the last session that the author say that the eloquence is
[5:09]at one level it doesn't you know go up and down so
[5:14]therefore we know that it is one person that is authoring this
[5:16]if it was one sermon you find it very high eloquent and
[5:21]another one you find it at a lower bar then you'll know
[5:22]that for example the other one it was added by someone else
[5:26]but we don't see that we see that they're all at one
[5:28]level and this are the words of of individuals who are very
[5:35]you know well informed and they know the Arabic language very well
[5:38]and understand the eloquence of the Arabic language so now we continue
[5:45]with sermon one that we were discussing sermon one of this beautiful
[5:50]sermon and it's perhaps one of the most important ones that according
[5:54]to the author Shar he regarded it as one of the most
[5:59]important ones and hence he put placed as number one he's talking
[6:01]about the creation of the universe he [Music] says Allah subhanahu waala
[6:23]ini initiated creation most initially and commenced it originally without undergoing reflection
[6:30]without making use of any experiment without innovating any movement and without
[6:37]experiencing any aspiration of mind basically is trying to say that Allah
[7:03]subhana and the Quran says this as well Allah subhah wa tala
[7:08]when he created this universe Allah is the original Creator Allah is
[7:14]the original innovator sometimes there are creators and innovators that we see
[7:20]in this world they have gone and used other components that already
[7:24]exist and they've come and they've tried to make something similar to
[7:28]it for example the airplane when they created the airplane what was
[7:32]the airplane trying to do what does the airplane look like which
[7:37]animal does the airplane look like it looks like the bird it
[7:40]has wings it has you know it's it follows the same way
[7:45]or the car for example it tries to follow the horse and
[7:48]it tries to follow the movement of the horse and it's it's
[7:52]on land and it's moving so we when we create we create
[7:59]something that has already it's already here and we try to create
[8:02]it or an artist for example an artist goes and they want
[8:06]to paint a beautiful painting what do they paint they paint a
[8:09]mountain that already exists they paint a waterfall they paint a picture
[8:12]of a person who has already been created this is why one
[8:16]of the names of Allah one of the 99 Names of Allah
[8:18]is today you call a photographer you say bring the photographer but
[8:26]the photographer is taking a picture but that picture is of something
[8:30]that has already been pictured has already been innovated it's orig the
[8:34]the photographer is not creating that picture out of nothing even the
[8:41]person who's a scul sculptor they're creating something out of a sculpture
[8:45]something that has already it's already in their imagination Allah subhana tala
[8:48]when he created the human being Allah when create when he created
[8:53]his creation there was nothing to look at there was nothing to
[8:55]copy from there was no reflection there was no experiment before that
[9:00]to come and try to you know when we when we do
[9:04]things we have error error error error until finally after a 100
[9:06]times we finally get it right Allah subhah wa ta'ala without looking
[9:12]at anything without copying anything Allah subhah wa taala innovates and he
[9:17]is the original Creator then he says without innovating any movement and
[9:28]without innovating any movement and without experiencing any aspiration of Mind meaning
[9:35]that there's no exhaustion in his mind here according to the commentary
[9:40]on he says that here in these two sentences is refuting arguments
[9:48]regarding the description of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala current arguments of that
[9:54]time 1,400 years ago and arguments before that for example arguments of
[9:59]the juice of the zarrian they had an argument regarding Allah subhanahu
[10:04]wa taala that God gets there's a mental exhaustion that goes on
[10:11]that Allah subhana wa tala works and even you see this when
[10:14]you read the Bible for example read the first page of the
[10:18]Bible when it talks about the creation the first uh paragraph and
[10:21]God created the world in six days I don't remember exactly right
[10:24]now but then he left one day because he was tired he
[10:29]left a day to rest so this is in the Bible whereas
[10:31]the Quran and who teaches us the Quran he says there was
[10:40]no exhaustion from Allah subhana T God doesn't need a day to
[10:45]rest the Bible says that in other beliefs they say that so
[10:48]here is refuting those other arguments those other understandings of Allah subhah
[10:56]wa tala second or the one before that meaning that there was
[11:03]no movement that needed to take place here he says he's refuting
[11:06]a group of people by the name of Al that was their
[11:12]they believe that God has to make a movement for something to
[11:17]come into existence things need just like our life for example if
[11:22]I need to if I need to pick up this cup I
[11:25]need to make a movement so that I pick up this cup
[11:27]without making a movement I'm not going to be able to Allah
[11:31]subhana does not does not need to do that there was no
[11:38]exhaustion there was no movement God didn't need to do something for
[11:42]creation to come to be just by the order of Allah Allah
[11:51]subh creates here reveals that was aware of the ancient and current
[11:56]views regarding Allah subhana tala and this shows the greatness and the
[12:00]brilliance of and then goes on he says he says Allah subhanahu
[12:35]waala he allotted all things their time what does this mean this
[12:39]means that Allah subhah wa tala created and gave everything its own
[12:43]time sometimes we because we're ignorant because we don't know we become
[12:47]Hasty we want certain things before their time Allah subhana T has
[12:55]given everything it's time for example a baby an embryo grows in
[12:57]the womb it requires nine months this is the time that Allah
[13:02]subhana T has allotted sometimes a little bit less sometimes a little
[13:05]bit more but that's the time the sun and the and the
[13:08]movement of the Moon and the Sun and the Earth it has
[13:12]its own time it takes 24 hours in a day it takes
[13:16]365 days for the earth to go around the Sun it takes
[13:20]a full month for the moon to revolve around the earth this
[13:23]is the time that Allah subhana has allotted for his creation everything
[13:28]has its own time time and Allah subhah waala everything has its
[13:37]variance but Allah subhana tala has made the variance come together for
[13:42]example he gives the example of the soul and the body the
[13:47]body is one type of creation the soul is another type of
[13:50]creation but Allah subhana tala comes and brings them together where two
[13:55]different types of creation one is a physical one is is a
[14:00]metaphysical they come together and they're in one creation and they form
[14:04]the life the living human being where or the living creation where
[14:08]the soul comes into the body and then this person has life
[14:14]so he put together their variations and gave them their properties everything
[14:20]has its own nature its own instincts for example the animals they
[14:27]have this type of Lifestyle the oldold blooded animals they have this
[14:31]lifestyle the warm-blooded they have this lifestyle the animals in the ocean
[14:36]the animals in the in the sky the animals on Earth the
[14:38]insects the the animals that eat this particular food Allah subhana T
[14:45]he has allotted the time the properties and determine their features their
[14:52]instincts knowing them before creating them now if I bring something to
[15:00]being then I will know about it for example my children once
[15:02]they come to this life then I will know about my children
[15:06]I know their features their qualities and this and that Allah subhah
[15:10]waala knows about the creation before it has even been created here
[15:17]either he's talking about the creation or he's talking about the instincts
[15:21]for example the Instinct of anger happiness bravery Allah knows about these
[15:28]instincts before they even occur this is the Eternal knowledge of Allah
[15:32]subhana wa tala God's knowledge is eternal this means it has no
[15:40]beginning and it has no end we have a beginning and we
[15:42]have an end because we are created we are created we are
[15:46]objects that are created so therefore we have a time that is
[15:49]a beginning Allah subhana T does not have a beginning Allah is
[15:54]the Eternal time is a creation of Allah subh tala that's how
[15:56]we can't use time against Allah subhana tala God is not trapped
[16:00]in time therefore God is eternal means the one that's Eternal the
[16:05]one that does not have a beginning and the one that does
[16:09]not have an end Allah subhah waala realizing fully their limits and
[16:23]confines every single one of us every single creation every single quality
[16:27]that a person has has has its own qualifications has its own
[16:32]limits obstacles this animal for example this is where animal that's on
[16:39]land it can't fly an animal that flies it cannot be on
[16:42]land an animal in the water we the humans we have our
[16:45]own limits we have our own confines and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[16:48]knows the limits the confines and appreciating their propensities and intricacies meaning
[16:57]everything has a everything has a partner something that's similar to it
[17:02]and something that's total opposite a polar opposite of it Allah subhana
[17:09]knows all of that then moves on to talk about the the
[17:18]uh heavens and the clouds and the sky and the water and
[17:26]evaporation [Music] then he says then the almighty created the openings of
[17:38]the atmosphere expanse of fir firmament Heavens or the sky and strata
[17:43]the layers of the Winds so here he goes on to talk
[17:52]about the complexity of the sky and the clouds and the air
[17:55]and all of these things and this here shows us how much
[18:01]knowledgeable and how much ahead of his time was and this is
[18:04]obvious this is no we this is not a surprise for us
[18:09]he says opened for me 1,000 doors of knowledge each door opening
[18:22]1,000 Doors used to stand in front of people and he used
[18:28]to tell them ask me before you lose me by God I
[18:37]know the Pathways in the heavens in the skies in the atmosphere
[18:41]better than the pathways on Earth at that time people were like
[18:47]what is what is he talking about today science has proven that
[18:50]even in the air there are Pathways this is why an airplane
[18:52]sometimes it's flying at one altitude then the airplane has to come
[18:58]down or it has to go up because of the because of
[19:00]the Airstream and this is only within our atmosphere imagine what's outside
[19:08]the atmosphere in space there are also Pathways and it could be
[19:11]also understood the pathways towards Allah subhana wa tala the way towards
[19:15]God the way toward spirituality so he has the knowledge so he's
[19:19]talking about the creation 1400 years ago he says sub there so
[20:10]much eloquence in this it requires description and he uses words that
[20:14]are very precise as you know the Arabic language you know it
[20:21]could be one particular thing it could have 20 words to describe
[20:25]it for example lion lion in English we say lion in the
[20:31]Arabic language there are about 10 over 10 or many words that
[20:37]describe one animal L it describes the type of lion the age
[20:40]of the lion there are words for every single one every single
[20:44]pH for the dates for the tree for the sky for all
[20:46]of that now one particular point before we go into the description
[20:57]says first he was talking about Allah subhah wa tala created and
[21:03]then it says then the almighty created the openings of atmosphere expans
[21:07]of fent here then the Thum what does this Thum mean does
[21:16]this mean that Allah subhah waala was not uh or created one
[21:19]created humans and the instincts and the traits and then Allah subhana
[21:23]created the skies and the heavens here Scholars say no this is
[21:29]not this is not describing the chronological order of creation is not
[21:33]describing like God did this and then God did this that it's
[21:38]a method of speech speech he's saying this is one greatness of
[21:41]God then this is also another greatness then this is another greatness
[21:44]it's a method of speech and the Quran uses this Allah says
[21:47]in the Quran in chapter 20 verse 82 it means then but
[22:03]in reality it says the verse says and in meaning God will
[22:08]forgive to the one who repents and has faith and does Good
[22:17]Deeds then here then this person is guided what does it mean
[22:21]this means that the person who repents and they do good deeds
[22:25]and they and they uh believe in God they're not guided then
[22:28]they'll be guided no this th it's a method of speech it
[22:32]means then they remain on the right path and they remain on
[22:34]the right path so this is the same way when he says
[22:39]then the almighty created the openings of the atmosphere this doesn't mean
[22:42]that it happened after it means it's just the way the way
[22:48]he's speaking this is one point another point the description of the
[22:51]atmosphere is described as a thing created by Allah subhana wa tala
[22:58]even though when you look at the air you don't see anything
[23:00]when you look at space when you look at the sky you
[23:02]don't see anything but at that time he understands that there are
[23:09]particles there are things in the air it's a creation imagine 1400
[23:12]years ago they look at the sun they see the Sun as
[23:16]an object but the sky in between they don't see it as
[23:21]a thing it's just space air who sees air you don't see
[23:24]the air but he understands that it's a thing so that's one
[23:30]point and then another thing which he delves into is how the
[23:34]heavy clouds you know these clouds in the air they're very heavy
[23:38]they're carrying all that water that water which when it rains it
[23:45]causes floods so much water gets everywhere how is this Cloud filled
[23:49]with water floating in the air this is one of the Miracles
[23:51]of Allah subhana and Allah Allah talks about this in the Quran
[23:57]in chapter 13:2 Allah says in the Quran Allah subhana tala he
[24:09]is the one who shows you the lightning to bring fear and
[24:13]hope and and that you get attached to Allah subhana T you
[24:22]want God and he creates the heavy clouds all of that rain
[24:26]that comes down that pours from these clouds that's a lot of
[24:30]rain what is it that allows these clouds to float as if
[24:33]they have no weight even if you for example if you're on
[24:36]a mountain and you pass by a cloud or in the airplane
[24:38]and you fly through a cloud you're not you're not in the
[24:43]water but that that cloud is carrying so much water but Allah
[24:46]subhah wa ta'ala makes makes the the water and the air less
[24:50]dense as as it goes higher as it warms up it gets
[24:54]less dense and then um it becomes light and when it comes
[25:00]down it becomes more dense it becomes heavier and and then it
[25:02]falls down this is one of the signs of Allah subhana wa
[25:06]tala so here he describes this he says then the almighty created
[25:10]the openings of the atmosphere expanse of firmament which is the heavens
[25:16]or the sky and strata layers of the Winds there are layers
[25:21]in the in the in the uh airspace in the in the
[25:25]atmosphere and here he says there are you know they say a
[25:37]road a a pathway they call it sik meaning a pathway even
[25:40]the in in the in the in the pathways there are Pathways
[25:47]in the air these are the airstreams that you know we we
[25:51]are understanding recently but he talks about that and then he says
[25:59]and Strat layers of went he flowed into it into the atmosphere
[26:03]water whose waves were stormy and whose surges leapt one over the
[26:08]other Subhan Allah these waves that are so heavy they go into
[26:15]the atmosphere what is he talking about he's talking about the evaporation
[26:20]process where the sun it hits the water an ocean in the
[26:23]lake this water this heavy water it evaporates and it goes all
[26:29]the way into the clouds he loaded it he loaded it on
[26:33]dashing wind and breaking typhoons ordering them to shed it back as
[26:40]rain so it goes all the way and then the winds they
[26:43]move the clouds around and then it comes down as rain once
[26:49]again gave the wind control over the Vigor of the rain here
[26:55]he says meaning the the wind it controls where the where the
[27:01]cloud goes a cloud some someplace it needs to rain Allah subhana
[27:05]tala sends the wind it brings that cloud that's full of rain
[27:10]it escorts it and it brings it all the way above your
[27:12]town and then it starts raining so the wind is what controls
[27:17]the rain and it controls the the cloud that's fil filled with
[27:21]rain he says gave the wind control over the Vigor of the
[27:26]rain and acquainted it with its limitations meaning that even the even
[27:30]the wind has its limitations there are some winds that can only
[27:36]go particular direction it can only go one one way it can't
[27:39]go where you know somewhere else the wind blew it under it
[27:42]while water flowed furiously over it the cloud it's filled with water
[27:53]it's filled with this um water then the the wind is it's
[27:57]it's you know the wind is is blowing furiously under it but
[28:03]then the water is above it Subhan Allah Subhan Allah we always
[28:07]think that the wind is above the water above the lake above
[28:12]the river above the ocean but here is describing that there's water
[28:17]in the clouds and there's wind beneath it this is the sign
[28:20]of Allah subhana tala he says then the almighty and this then
[28:34]doesn't mean that then in chronological order he's just talking about the
[28:38]signs of Allah subhana wa tala then the almighty created fourth wind
[28:42]and made its movement sterile when someone is sterile a lady who
[28:47]can't get pregnant or a person a a man who can't impregnate
[28:52]they call this person he says here is differentiating between the types
[29:09]of wind because you have pollinating wind and you have non-pollinating wind
[29:15]what is the pollinating wind it's the wind that pollinates the plants
[29:21]you have a tree here wind comes and it blows on it
[29:26]and all of these pollen from this tree it comes and it
[29:28]goes in the in the forest on other trees and it pollinates
[29:31]other trees this is called an anop and this is the process
[29:39]when pollen is transported by air currents from one individual plant to
[29:42]another and this is how plants increase this is one of the
[29:44]ways of plants you know reproducing and increasing in fact according to
[29:51]some you know I was reading today it says 12% of plants
[29:53]are pollinated through the wind others are for example through bees through
[29:58]other methods of poll pollination Allah subhana talks about this in the
[30:03]Quran Allah says we sent the the wind is wind the wind
[30:15]it's a pollinator Subhan Allah the wind it comes and it blows
[30:21]on a tree these these the pollen from this tree it goes
[30:24]towards another tree and it pollinates it so here he's talking is
[30:28]talking about the wind that goes and moves the clouds that wind
[30:33]is not a pollinating wind so this is why he calls it
[30:38]he says we then Allah subhah wa taala sent uh then the
[30:49]almighty created forth wind and made its movement sterile meaning that the
[30:53]wind that's moving the clouds doesn't have pollen in it the pollen
[30:56]is in the lower level it doesn't go up that high so
[31:01]this is a a sterile non-pollinating wind and then he says he
[31:30]says then Allah subhanahu waala he sent the in movement of its
[31:36]movement sterile perpetuated its position the wind intensified its motion and spread
[31:45]it so the wind it moves the heavy clouds far and wide
[31:52]these huge clouds Allah subhana wa tala sends them to move the
[31:56]wind he ordered the wind to raise up deep Waters and to
[32:04]intensify the waves of the oceans so it moves this it raises
[32:06]this water now now we're not talking about in the cloud anymore
[32:10]now we're talking about the wind and the ocean it comes and
[32:14]it creates these waves and it um it raises up the Deep
[32:17]Waters the water from the bottom of the ocean it moves it
[32:21]all the way up and it intensifies the waves so the wind
[32:25]ched it like the churning of kurd so the curd it's when
[32:30]the milk sours and it's in the process of creating cheese there's
[32:34]something that needs to be whisked or it needs to be moved
[32:37]so he's talking about how the the wind comes and it moves
[32:43]the water around it moves it around and it's turning it like
[32:45]the Turning of kurd so he says so he says he says
[33:00]that this is exactly he's trying to show them a description of
[33:05]how when they make cheese that's how they have to move that
[33:08]that uh that sour thing that substance this is how the wind
[33:13]moves the water then he says uh and pushed it fiercely into
[33:19]the firmament into the sky throwing its front position on the rear
[33:25]and the stationary on the flowing till its level was raised and
[33:28]the surface was full of foam meaning that Allah subhana tala moves
[33:32]it all the way it moves this the wind comes and moves
[33:37]this water it it brings it all the way around until it
[33:39]has some this um foam so this foam is you've seen for
[33:48]ex sometimes on the ocean when there's waves you see there's this
[33:52]something that it looks like foam on the water it's not foam
[33:54]it's just because of the movement of the water it looks like
[33:57]there's some foam on the water then then Allah subhah waala raised
[34:07]the foam onto the open wind and vast firmament and made there
[34:11]from the seven skies and made the lower one as a stationary
[34:14]Surge and the upper one as a protective ceiling and a high
[34:22]edifice without any pull to support it or nail to hold it
[34:26]together then the almighty raised the foam so basically Allah subhah then
[34:40]Allah subhana from this water that evaporates in the air he made
[34:43]the seven Skies the seven layers in the sky in the in
[34:53]the lower part there's a stationary Surge and the upper one as
[34:59]a protective ceiling so the skies also has levels one part is
[35:02]a protective ceiling which protects Us in the atmosphere there's something in
[35:06]the atmosphere that protects the Earth each level Allah subhana T has
[35:10]created for a reason then he's talking about the sky once again
[35:16]he says then he decorate decorated them with stars and and the
[35:39]sky he decorated it with stars and the light of the meteors
[35:42]and hung in it The Shining Sun and the effulgent Moon Under
[35:48]the revolving Sky moving ceiling and rotating Firmin firmament amongst the greatest
[35:55]signs of Allah subhanahu wa tala is the atmosphere Allah subhah wa
[36:00]ta'ala created this atmosphere and there's a process there's a function this
[36:05]all is enough proof for us that Allah subhah wa ta'ala has
[36:09]created this universe and Allah says in chapter 41 verse 53 Allah
[36:21]says we will show you all the signs of Allah subhah wa
[36:27]tala in the Horizons in the the sky today one of the
[36:29]one of the places where we should study and and find God
[36:35]is in the sun and the stars and the moon and the
[36:39]wind and the cloud Allah talks about this Allah in the Quran
[36:42]also look at yourself look at your body look at the look
[36:47]at how Allah subhana T has created the functions within the body
[36:51]you look at these two things until you find out that there
[36:57]is one Creator there is one organizer there is one designer then
[37:02]moves on to talk about the Angels so he [Music] says then
[37:14]he created the openings between High skies and filled them all with
[37:19]classes of his angels so between the skies between the heavens there
[37:27]are many types different classes from the Angels so he says some
[37:34]of them are in prostration all time they're all they're doing this
[37:38]prostrating they do not kneel up they do not kneel there are
[37:47]those who are kneeling in the kneeling position they do not stand
[37:53]some of them are in Array and do not leave their position
[38:00]position they're in one position they're standing in a in a line
[38:10]and others are extolling Allah do Subhan Allah Subhan Allah Subhan Allah
[38:16]and they do not get tired the sleep of the eye or
[38:26]the slip of wit or Langer of the body or the effect
[38:28]of for forgetfulness does not affect them the angels are not like
[38:35]us we get tired we get exhausted we we stand for a
[38:37]little and then our legs start hurting and then we do a
[38:42]little our back starts hurting we do suud a little angels are
[38:44]not like us they don't get tired so they do they don't
[38:54]get tired their eyes don't sleep their their wit and their understanding
[39:00]their does not they don't forget their body does not get tired
[39:11]and exhausted they don't go through fatigue like we do and their
[39:15]mind does not forget they're not affected by that so this is
[39:19]is's describing the Angels who who here would understand the Angels other
[39:24]than someone who's connected with Allah subhana wa tala and we know
[39:30]for a fact that is honest and sincere and he's telling us
[39:33]the truth because the previous thing he said is the truth something
[39:36]that science is proving right now so then later on when he
[39:40]talks about God and when he talks about the Angels although these
[39:42]are certain things that are can't be scientifically proven right now but
[39:46]since the first thing he said is scientifically proven then we understand
[39:50]that everything else he says is also the truth because he's a
[39:56]truthful person he's a knowledgeable person so then he says from amongst
[40:05]the Angels there are those who they are trusted bearers of the
[40:09]message of Allah subhanahu waala so from the Angels he said there
[40:23]are different classes they don't get tired they're always worshiping they're always
[40:28]praying but then there are others who they among them are those
[40:31]who work as trusted bearers of his message so they deliver the
[40:35]message of Allah subh the Revelation is the those they deliver the
[40:43]messages those who serve as speaking tongues for His prophets and those
[40:49]who carry his orders and injunctions so from amongst the angels are
[40:54]those who deliver the message to the prophets for example jbra jbra
[41:02]Gabriel he was his duty was to deliver the message to the
[41:06]prophets he would deliver the message to to the other prophets he
[41:09]would go and he would deliver the message they are the tongues
[41:15]towards the messengers and others they carry the duties of Allah subhana
[41:23]tala others they carry the task that Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala has given
[41:30]so just a second the Angels they have duties they have tasks
[41:43]and some of them they would deliver the messages they would deliver
[41:47]the tasks to the prophets and others they carry out other duties
[41:54]for example the angels of the wind the angels of the rain
[41:56]the angels of the sky different types of angels each one of
[42:03]them has a duty to deliver a task and this is he's
[42:06]describing this and then he says among them are the Protectors of
[42:18]his creatures and guards of the doors of The Gardens of paradise
[42:24]from amongst the Angels there are those who are protect protect the
[42:28]creatures there are angels protecting us whether you realize it whether you
[42:32]don't whether you see it or not there are angels protecting us
[42:37]in fact we have ai from he says that if you recite
[42:43]one time Allah subhah wa tala will send one Angel to protect
[42:50]you you recite two times Allah will send two angels to protect
[42:54]you you recite three times Allah will send Three Angels to protect
[42:58]you if you recite it four times Allah will tell the Angels
[43:03]leave I will protect this person so there are angels that are
[43:09]protecting [Music] us they protect the creation of Allah subh had Angels
[43:18]protecting him he says he says there was in another sermon he
[43:21]says there was an angel protecting from the day he was born
[43:29]and there are those who are guards of the doors of The
[43:34]Gardens of Paradise The Angel who's at the door of paradise his
[43:37]name is rwan rwan is the gatekeeper of paradise and there's also
[43:44]a gatekeeper of the Hellfire his name is Malik and there there
[43:47]are angels that carry out different tasks the angel of death is
[43:51]the angel that blows in the trumpet on the day of judgment
[43:57]is the mik is one type of Angel they say he's with
[44:02]risk and he's with sustenance and delivering sustenance each one of these
[44:09]angels they have a particular Duty so then he says and among
[44:54]them are those also whose steps are fixed on Earth so from
[44:57]amongst the Angels there are those whose steps are on Earth but
[45:02]their necks are in the skies meaning that they're so huge their
[45:06]limbs are getting out on all sides their wings and their shoulders
[45:11]are in accord with The Columns of the Divine Throne meaning that
[45:16]they're so huge that their their shoulders are next to the Divine
[45:20]throne their eyes are downcast before it they have spread down their
[45:25]wings under it under the throne and they have rendered between themselves
[45:30]and all else curtains of honor and screens of power they do
[45:36]not think of their creator through image they don't imagine an image
[45:41]of their creator they do not impute to him attributes of the
[45:44]created they don't come and give attributes of the created to Allah
[45:48]subhana wa tala and they do not confine him within bodies and
[45:53]do not point at him through illustrations meaning God is not a
[45:58]body illustration does not have and even the angels they don't imagine
[46:00]God to be in that way but the Angels they have bodies
[46:05]the Angels it's okay for us to believe that angels have bodies
[46:07]and the body takes a place and time and they were created
[46:11]at one time and they're going to die all of the angels
[46:12]are going to die the angel of death he is going to
[46:17]he takes away all of the souls and then the angel of
[46:20]death his soul will be taken away by Allah subhah wa tala
[46:23]because he has a beginning and he has an end but Allah
[46:25]subhana wa ta'ala is the only one that does not have a
[46:29]beginning and doesn't have an end and there are many types of
[46:30]angels even from the angel of death the angel of death has
[46:36]helpers and supporters Allah subhana in one verse in the Quran says
[46:42]some people there are three verses regarding death one Allah says our
[46:47]Messengers meaning The Messengers of death the angels of death because the
[46:50]angel of death has supporters has an army they go and they
[46:56]take away the souls and then the angel of death is the
[47:02]one that takes your soul and a third verse says it is
[47:05]God that takes the soul so it could be either the angels
[47:11]of death or the angel of death is or God who is
[47:15]the ultimate one who has given the Angels their powers and their
[47:17]Authority and the angels they are worshippers of Allah they don't do
[47:20]anything on their own so we can't come and say oh J
[47:25]let us worship J mik let us worship mik we can't do
[47:29]that because and mik and and is and all the Angels they
[47:33]are worshippers of Allah they are obedient to Allah subhana tala you
[47:37]see in Greek uh in Greek methodology Greek mythology they come and
[47:43]they say that for example the lord of the rain the Lord
[47:48]of wealth the Lord of this and that the Angels they do
[47:50]there are angels that are angels for this task angels for this
[47:55]task however these angels they are Servants of Allah subhana T we
[48:01]don't worship the Angels We Worship Allah the one who created the
[48:04]angels and created us the Angels comes come in sizes and forms
[48:08]for example JB when he used to be in his malti form
[48:12]in his Angelic form his wings would cover the horizons and was
[48:19]able to see that on the day of the on the day
[48:24]of the the 27th of was able to see jbra in his
[48:31]Angelic form and sometimes he would come to in a human form
[48:32]sometimes he would come in other forms where where he would be
[48:37]able to interact and see here we will stop inshallah in the
[48:42]next session we will continue with the sermon in the description of
[48:47]Adam the description of the first creation before I conclude I would
[48:52]like to also congratulate you all on the auspicious birth of alaih
[48:56]tonight is the eve of the 17th of the eve of the
[49:04]birth of our holy prophet tomorrow is a blessed day it's recommended
