[0:24]el jawad award to honor those that have excelled in service to

[0:29]the Muslim community in the United States and Canada why the al-jihad

[0:37]award in honor of our ninth mm because jawad or al-jihad means

[0:43]the generous one so recipients of this award are individuals or organisations

[0:51]who are generous in their time in service to others this year

[0:57]we are honoring an individual who took her pain and suffering and

[1:03]turned it into a mission and a passion so that other families

[1:08]don't have to suffer like she did dahab honored as some may

[1:19]know her lost her baby son to a rare bone disease and

[1:21]was denied justice because of failures in the justice the medical in

[1:30]the social systems later her children were taken away from her and

[1:34]adopted into non-muslim families and they were even physically abused in foster

[1:40]care what has she d hobb went through was unimaginable but she

[1:45]took that pain and that suffering and she created the AMA to

[1:57]adoption priority to foster children's relatives in a fair relative isn't capable

[2:01]it gives special consideration for the placement into a family of the

[2:06]same religion as the children's immediate family this pill this bill was

[8:16]the average with my own son so the evidence of the cries

[8:21]of my son became the legacy of every child out there the

[8:33]every child out there the AMA foundation will become a reality it

[8:50]awareness of having Muslim foster parents because the lack of it I
