[2:17][Music] hey [Music] hey [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign foreign in you there
[5:14]is a similarity to jesus son of mary last night we discussed
[5:20]one of the similarities between prophet jesus allah was that at one
[5:28]point or at one stage or another they were worshiped as god
[5:31]the second similarity that exists between is the fact that they had
[5:41]disciples who were very close to them disciples who studied under them
[5:47]disciples who were ready at different points in their life to spread
[5:50]their word their name and their message a disciple is normally defined
[5:54]as a pupil or a follower normally if a teacher for example
[5:59]is proud of his students he'll say that that student is my
[6:02]disciple if somebody for example is proud of a sports star that
[6:07]they produce they'll say that that's my disciple that's my follower that's
[6:11]someone who's taken my lessons and my advice on board in the
[6:17]arabic language there is a specific term that the quran uses for
[6:21]the disciple it's not for example talib or talmeez which we'd normally
[6:25]associate with a pupil which is normally translated in english as a
[6:32]student nor is it something higher where someone who gives a bit
[6:35]more from themselves like these are higher levels of gratitude to a
[6:44]teacher but you find that in the quran the word for a
[6:47]disciple is normally associated with jesus son of mary and that is
[6:52]the word hawari the hawari are those who are seen as being
[6:56]alongside the prophet jesus alaihissalam in the quran is the term that
[7:10]is used for the disciples of jesus normally the disciples of jesus
[7:14]we mentioned as twelve of course there are more disciples of nebi
[7:18]islam one may argue that there could have been thousands of disciples
[7:22]of nabi islam at one stage you see 12 another you see
[7:27]70 another you see thousands but when rasulullah on one occasion was
[7:32]asked the question how many imams are there after you you see
[7:36]this particular hadith in shiite literature and the non-shia literature it comes
[7:42]with different terms how many emirs how many are there after you
[7:46]the holy prophet peace be upon him and his family replies the
[7:52]same as the number of the chieftains of moses and the number
[7:56]of the disciples of isa the quran mentions that there are 12
[8:08]chieftains of moses and likewise therefore when it comes to the disciples
[8:14]of jesus christians will also come forward and normally mention 12 disciples
[8:18]they'll mention for example names such as judas a couple of times
[8:24]james a couple of times you'll see the mentioning of for example
[8:27]peter simon thomas andrew philip these are all alongside bartholomew and martin
[8:36]known as the 12 disciples of jesus these disciples were the ones
[8:41]who were meant to be his most loyal at all times because
[8:46]the disciple recognizes that when they found their master teacher they're gonna
[8:51]be in for good times and in for bad if they want
[8:55]to give their all to this teacher especially if this teacher is
[8:58]a prophet of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala or if this teacher is
[9:03]one of the awliya one of the chosen saints of god on
[9:07]earth you're going to have people who love that person but there's
[9:10]going to be a time where that person's rhetoric is going to
[9:13]bring about hate from certain people because that person is going to
[9:17]try and change the status quo for example of the romans at
[9:20]the time for example of the jewish leaders at the time so
[9:25]you're gonna have to be ready for a barrage of abuse you're
[9:28]gonna have to be ready for bullying tactics and you're literally gonna
[9:34]have to be ready for the sword possibly against you if you
[9:38]read the traditions concerning the disciples you'll see that in sunni answer
[9:44]literature there is always a discussion that every prophet had a group
[9:48]of haware alongside him so it wasn't just the prophet isa there
[9:53]is no way a prophet of god could live on this earth
[9:56]unless he has a group of disciples next to him by himself
[10:03]was an ummah no doubt but still you needed isma'il you need
[10:08]it as haqq you cannot deny that you may even need your
[10:11]family to be your disciples but even more of a blessing is
[10:14]that people from outside of your family circles a judas or a
[10:19]peter or a simon or a thomas or a bartholomew or a
[10:23]james if these people come towards you and are willing to spread
[10:28]your message because for some disciples the idea was if jesus son
[10:32]of mary is a representative of god representative of the eternal as
[10:40]we said yesterday john 17 3 the eternal is spoken of and
[10:44]the fact that jesus's scent is spoken of so similar to what
[10:48]we believe jesus when he gives a message these disciples would go
[10:52]into different parts of asia minor they go towards for example let's
[10:55]say syria they go towards turkey they go towards lebanon they go
[10:59]with the idea that they're going to spread the word of god
[11:04]knowing that there's a good chance a group of pagans may behead
[11:06]them for it anyone who studies the missionary work of christianity will
[11:12]see that the disciples knew very well that there was a chance
[11:16]they could be sword when i say saw in arabic we say
[11:20]minsha was the saw literally amongst the disciples there were those who
[11:27]were sword to death there were those who were beheaded there were
[11:31]those who were attacked because of their love for their leader the
[11:35]beautiful thing is when you examine jesus and imam ali alaihi you'll
[11:40]find that both had disciples both of whom were ready to spread
[11:46]their word but the question arises which of these disciples were loyal
[11:50]to their leader in every way and which one of them at
[11:54]times would have been sold over let's tonight examine the disciples of
[11:58]jesus according to islam and the disciples of imam ali alayhi according
[12:03]to islam and i'd like to do this in the following stages
[12:07]number one we said that the word is meant to define disciple
[12:15]but why this word and what are the different opinions as to
[12:17]why god used this word in particular number two were these people
[12:23]prophets of allah as well is there a possibility that they were
[12:26]messengers alongside jesus or were they like imams who were following the
[12:31]message of jesus and spreading his word number three in surat yahsin
[12:40]which verses does allah use as an example the people of the
[12:44]city when we sent messengers to them and which disciples of jesus
[12:48]including the one that shiasman reveres the most known as simon how
[12:52]pivotal was he in the story number four were all the disciples
[12:56]of jesus on the same level are all the disciples of rasulullah
[13:02]on the same level are all the disciples of any prophet on
[13:06]the same level or are there differences between them number five who
[13:10]were the disciples of the prophet peace be upon him his family
[13:13]and why does that not make it on the list number six
[13:16]who were the disciples of imam ali alayhim how loyal were they
[13:22]to him and how were some of them ready to be beheaded
[13:24]and executed for their love of the imam on a night like
[13:29]this which ones of them are alive with him while he's injured
[13:31]and which ones of them are passed away let's examine this and
[13:35]dissect the topic in complete depth many times unfortunately the muslim community
[13:41]has very little knowledge of jesus in general but his disciples in
[13:48]particular leaves the lot to be desired the reality is when god
[13:52]mentions these disciples they are all lessons for us why would he
[13:58]include the hawaii of isa and quran unless they were a lesson
[14:02]for all of us as in sometimes we imagine the only lessons
[14:05]we can learn are from rasulallah but it was the one who
[14:12]wanted us to learn from these someone says why this word originally
[14:18]one opinion was that hawaii comes from whitening or bleaching they the
[14:24]disciples of jesus used to try and purify their clothing as much
[14:29]as they want allah loves those who are purified physically as well
[14:34]as spiritually there are people in the world today spiritually they are
[14:38]impure but physically they use the best shampoos the best deodorants the
[14:41]best conditioners the base moisturizers no point spiritually being dirty and physically
[14:49]being clean spiritually you want to be someone who always thinks good
[14:52]of others the best of others someone who works as part of
[14:57]a team not as an individual someone who doesn't look for themselves
[15:00]to always be the best but everybody around them to be good
[15:05]as well so you find here that they wanted to be on
[15:07]the first level physically pure they would bleach their clothes as much
[15:13]as they can until it becomes as white as it would be
[15:15]so if they went out to represent the religion they don't go
[15:18]out stinking as if you're now someone who represents the religion and
[15:23]when people hug you you smell curry all over you smell garlic
[15:26]all over you onion all over you this body odour all over
[15:32]you no one wants to be in there such people if you
[15:34]see somebody who's got a dishdasher or an abaya and saw stains
[15:38]everywhere and people will say but you're meant to be our role
[15:42]model as our prophet peace be upon his family would say iman
[15:45]purity or cleanliness is part of iman not just salah and psalm
[15:50]if you're going to be someone who prays all the time but
[15:54]your clothes are dirty allah wants that a person takes their zina
[15:56]when they go to the masjid their finest of their garment so
[16:02]on the one hand the idea was that hawari or howard comes
[16:05]from whitening and whitening or bleaching of the clothes on the other
[16:10]hand no it took the second meaning whitening of the heart purity
[16:14]of their hearts that they were the type who tried to purify
[16:16]their hearts as much as they can because they were in the
[16:20]middle of a disease the children of israel literally at that time
[16:24]were a disease otherwise why would god send jesus if everything's going
[16:28]well otherwise if everything was going well nobody doesn't need to come
[16:35]moses commandments david torah came with the spirit of the law if
[16:52]i for example now see that there's a girl in our community
[16:55]and that girl in our community has come ziada with us and
[17:01]a little bit of her hair is showing in the ziyara trip
[17:03]do i jump on her and cover her do i tell her
[17:08]how dare you show some here what do i say to a
[17:12]sister just a small reminder that if you can try and cover
[17:14]a bit better you see the difference one has taken law haram
[17:19]there's some here showing another says with advice inculcated a group of
[17:36]disciples inculcated within them this group that you should look for love
[17:39]in the way you talk be pure in the way that you
[17:44]guide don't guide people while you have malice in your heart as
[17:47]a vendetta in the message that you're giving there are many out
[17:51]there who are preachers many who are disciples of disciples of disciples
[17:55]but when they give a message the message doesn't come from a
[17:59]pure heart it comes from hassan it comes from it comes from
[18:03]a lot of jealousy rather said if you're gonna go to turkey
[18:09]or you go to asia or you go to lebanon you go
[18:10]to jerusalem wherever you go you want to spread my word spread
[18:15]it with love have that whiteness in the way that you spread
[18:21]that message and by the way such personalities they're a dime a
[18:25]dozen they rarely come most of the preachers in any religion most
[18:29]of them what they're giving you as a message comes with an
[18:33]agenda either an agenda politically between them and other preachers between their
[18:38]mosque and other mosques between their imam barga and other imam know
[18:42]one thing that sometimes when you see trouble in a community there's
[18:46]always a preacher behind that trouble always one who unfortunately they have
[18:51]the ilm but the hikmah is not there what does a disciple
[18:56]do the third meaning of the hawari what is it the third
[19:01]meaning is discussion on dialogue they used to love discussing with their
[19:09]prophet they used to love sitting with him he genuinely never isa
[19:12]if you want to see the subhan jamal literally is a manifestation
[19:22]of god's beauty on earth and the way he was soft-hearted and
[19:25]the way he sat with people who had diseases and the way
[19:29]he smiled with people they used to love sitting with him learning
[19:32]from him learning from his example hence because of the hewar you
[19:36]know sometimes in arabic discussion can come from kalam jadal some of
[19:43]it is negative some of it is positive but these people the
[19:48]disciples were known as the hawari why because they love discussion the
[19:51]best thing for a disciple is to love sitting with their teacher
[19:55]learning from their teacher looking at the example of their teacher therefore
[19:59]these had reached such a level within their lives alongside nebras when
[20:06]he asked them who are my supporters on the path of allah
[20:14]they replied allah in the quran if you look in sword for
[20:18]example verse 14 you'll see that they're the ones who are saying
[20:23]we are your helpers because you know christians are sometimes known as
[20:27]nasara nasara is either because they came from a town that had
[20:31]that name or because they gave help nusrat they gave help towards
[20:37]who towards the prophet of allah when you do that allah begins
[20:40]to inspire you and that's why the quran mentions something interesting which
[20:45]has raised the question were these people prophets or not someone says
[20:50]what do you mean their prophets if jesus is there they're his
[20:52]disciples they can't be prophets but we know that one time you
[20:56]could have more than one prophet living abraham isaac ishmael you can
[20:59]have more than one prophet living musa normally indicates prophethood no not
[21:32]only sometimes wahi in the form of revelation is only prophets nobody
[21:39]else the messengers of allah receive no one else can receive revelation
[21:45]in the sense of a message except the prophets but inspiration in
[21:49]the form of ham can be given to a lady like moosa's
[21:51]mother muslim when the quran says but the quran said we reveal
[22:02]to the mother of musa revealed what what is this form of
[22:07]inspiration that is a form where allah directly sends you a message
[22:13]which silently gives you the certainty that it has come from the
[22:18]lord none can get in its way no ain't no jinn can
[22:22]get in its way of blocking it no one can get no
[22:27]shaytan can whisper against it the heart has reached such a level
[22:30]of purity that when allah sends it you recognize it straight away
[22:35]yes if you are someone who's looked to support the message of
[22:38]god it can happen to you someone says wait so you're telling
[22:41]me even me living in 2022 why not if shaytan can whisper
[22:46]bad into you why can allah not send someone who whispers good
[22:50]into you means that the hawaii at least some of them were
[22:57]inspired with ilham if the disciples of jesus could be inspired by
[23:02]elaham are you telling me the imams of al-muhammad could not be
[23:06]you tell me that those who are disciples of islam they were
[23:12]inspired when the quran says believe in me and believe in who
[23:21]in my messenger they turn around and say we believe so how
[23:27]does that happen they recognize at that moment that an inspiration has
[23:32]come from the lord believe in this man don't let him down
[23:35]don't skank him don't backstab him believe in him could all of
[23:41]them have believed in him possibly all of them at one point
[23:43]have believed in him they've recognized him then someone says well if
[23:46]all of them believed in him why do they then ask can
[23:49]god send us down food from heaven the whole of surah 5
[23:54]is called surat means a table spread yes med is the idea
[24:00]of something which is spread so when it's got food on it
[24:06]it's called the table spread otherwise does not exist unless there is
[24:08]food on it in surah 5 and all of you at home
[24:12]i opened the quran in this month surah 5 from verse 109
[24:17]until about 114 you'll see that they ask can god send down
[24:22]food for us from heaven there's a certain anger in him because
[24:28]he's looking at them thinking hold on a minute you're my backbone
[24:31]you're meant to be the loyal ones with me do you have
[24:35]a doubt they reply with something interesting they want an increase in
[24:39]their yakin in their non in their certainty with allah and this
[24:43]there's nothing wrong with my dear brothers sisters wherever you may be
[24:46]sometimes spirituality whoever you maybe goes peaks and troughs sometimes you wake
[24:52]up one morning you have unbelievable little bit none your heart is
[24:55]ready for anything sometimes you wake up one morning and you have
[24:58]100 doubts sometimes you wake up one day you want to pray
[25:01]sometimes you wake up one day you're not even feeling salah even
[25:04]the disciples of a prophet of allah subhana wa want to see
[25:09]something which they know but they now want to see remember when
[25:12]abraham asked about raising the debt and making them alive do you
[25:17]not believe so no i wanna see i want that increase in
[25:19]certainty same with them they ask for an increase in certainty allah
[25:26]wants to give them that guidance of course there's another opinion the
[25:30]other opinion is that when they said that we believe in you
[25:34]that's when they when they said we believe in you that's when
[25:36]they then asked as a reward for our belief in you do
[25:39]you mind if we get food from jannah rather than food from
[25:43]the local takeaway and that's not the worst request in the world
[25:53]the only time is if this food comes down and you people
[26:04]disbelieve in me you'll be punished worse than anyone else because now
[26:09]i'm gonna have a takeaway from jannah being served on a plate
[26:14]for you and the relationship between it and the last supper is
[26:17]one that requires an examination i think was that the last supper
[26:20]was that when he sat with all of them before he left
[26:24]this world because here the quran and surah 5 has called it
[26:29]the table spread jesus and his disciples and the last supper the
[26:32]holy suffers one of the biggest events in christianity that one requires
[26:35]its own discussion so were they all on the same level i
[26:40]don't think so there are some who needed to see god perform
[26:43]something more than what jesus has already done jesus has already cured
[26:47]the blind that should be enough for you cured the leper enough
[26:51]for you who walked on water should be enough for you raise
[26:53]the dead and make them that should be enough for subhanallah in
[26:58]life you'll find however many signs allah throws the human they'll still
[27:02]say but i'm not sure whether god exists all these different creations
[27:05]and these different colors and these different fishes and animals and all
[27:08]of these different islands and all these different countries all these different
[27:13]colors and still you'll find someone saying accident i think it all
[27:16]came by an accident it was just an accident some proteins and
[27:19]amino acids just reacted in the right way that day so you
[27:24]found here that these disciples what was their role their role of
[27:29]these disciples was to go out and to spread the good news
[27:31]someone says what's this good news you always say the evangel or
[27:36]the injeel the good news is that there was a lost sheep
[27:38]of the children of israel and that the romans had gone into
[27:42]pagan worship they were lost sheep of the children of israel the
[27:45]good news was meant to guide a lot of these lost the
[27:50]guidance is shown many of us would have recited saudi arabia week
[27:54]in week out how many of us have thought of jesus's disciples
[27:58]within the surah waz rebel meth give them the example of the
[28:09]people of that city when our messengers were sent to them we
[28:14]sent to them two messengers ah what is the story when jesus's
[28:19]disciples would be sent out they would go to give tables in
[28:22]different areas areas which had been affected by shirk or pagan ideologies
[28:29]where they felt that the people were good enough to take on
[28:32]the message not through ikra not through compulsion i'm not gonna go
[28:38]to a town and compel people to follow islam or to follow
[28:41]christianity you know but to come and tell them the good news
[28:45]that jesus has come with and that john the baptist has come
[28:47]with because john the baptist is fundamental for these disciples who who
[28:51]does the quran say what is name we send two disciples possibly
[29:00]john and paul were of the disciples that were sent different opinions
[29:03]are given they went towards the area they started to spread the
[29:07]message straight away people were like we don't like these people because
[29:11]they're changing our minds they're bursting our bubbles and the human being
[29:15]hates it if someone comes and begins to burst their bubble the
[29:19]human is always comfortable in their cultural zone don't get them out
[29:25]of that zone keep me in my bubble don't bring new thoughts
[29:28]these disciples were telling them how could you worship these idols what
[29:33]is this because your romans had how many gods and at that
[29:37]time you know you had people a few hundred years after allah
[29:39]you know the germans are sacrificing to odin and you had for
[29:43]example the italians were sacrificing to saturn the planet so these people
[29:49]were coming to them and they were saying to them baba we
[29:51]are coming here as messengers and they replied back to them so
[29:57]we don't know anything about you guys you know what that means
[30:01]it's like we have to you are an omen for us a
[30:06]bad omen was this idea of a very bad omen you've come
[30:09]into our town you too who are you to come and change
[30:14]our belief system we're happy with what we believe you know what
[30:18]they've done to these disciples they put the disciples of jesus in
[30:21]prison now when i say it they play in prison people are
[30:25]just okay they're put in prison in those days it was normal
[30:27]to torture the living daylights out of somebody these disciples of nebuchadnezzar
[30:35]were tortured profusely the quran says so we sent a third disciple
[30:49]but now with a different strategy the first two came out they
[30:52]said we believe in god jesus is the one who god has
[30:57]sent the third one came he was simon shem on and she
[31:00]ate traditions the most revered disciple for us is simon yeah shem
[31:06]on he came with a different strategy what is it he came
[31:08]with a strategy that i will get close to the king no
[31:12]need for me to preach straight away let me get diplomatically politically
[31:14]close to the king after he politically got close to the king
[31:18]what did he then do after he got close to the king
[31:22]said to him what's going on i heard he got a couple
[31:24]people in there in prison he goes yeah they came they tried
[31:26]to change our thinking he said anything special about them he goes
[31:29]ah you know what they claim that they've come on behalf of
[31:35]the messiah jesus son of mary that's all i see nothing more
[31:38]he said well what is it that they claim that they're able
[31:42]to do he said they claim that they're able to for example
[31:45]raise the dead and make them alive they claim that they're able
[31:50]to cure the blind raise the dead cure the leper simon looked
[31:55]at him and said what if they can he's like nah there's
[31:59]no way they can this is nonsense no one can do it
[32:02]he said well do you have anyone blind in your community he
[32:03]said yeah we have someone i know someone very close who's blind
[32:06]he said well why not go to those two and tell them
[32:09]that this person is blind if you claim you've come from jesus
[32:12]hallelujah and that you're his disciples then cure him and this is
[32:19]a major question how they cure this person highlights whether they are
[32:22]messengers or just disciples a big question can a person who's a
[32:27]disciple of a prophet achieve karamat like this this can be associated
[32:30]with imam as well so what happens when they bring these they
[32:35]bring them they're imprisoned the two disciples of nabi islam cure this
[32:40]blind person the blind person suddenly can see the king's like hold
[32:43]on a minute if you guys can do one more thing i'll
[32:46]let you out what is it i have a son who died
[32:51]i want to see my son they said we can raise the
[32:55]dead and make them alive he said do it they said but
[32:56]with god's permission not with a pagan or idol god with god's
[33:02]permission we're able to raise the dead and make them alive and
[33:07]by the way everybody at this time is mocking them a man
[33:18]came from the furthest part of the city he said follow these
[33:22]messengers nothing from you they've just come with good news they just
[33:26]want to bring you onto the path of god his name was
[33:28]he was stoned to death because of the people's antics but when
[33:34]simon said to the king if they raise your dead son and
[33:36]make him alive will you believe the king said i'll believe and
[33:40]i'll release all of them and they were able to raise the
[33:42]dead son of that king and so you found that unfortunately that
[33:47]habib najar who had gone and spoken out about and soratiya seen
[34:06]describe the way he talked to them why wouldn't i follow the
[34:08]one who has created me perfectly and to him i return why
[34:13]would i seek the intercession of these idols when they can do
[34:17]nothing for me while the merciful is there so you found therefore
[34:23]that these disciples from nabi asa were ready to lose their heads
[34:26]for nabi isa ready to lose their limbs for nabi asa ready
[34:29]to be sword if you google the disciples of jesus look at
[34:33]the way each one of them died i can guarantee you that
[34:36]barring judas iscariot and barring one other one of the disciples the
[34:42]rest of them either were crucified or beheaded it showed you a
[34:47]number of things what is it number one how disciples of a
[34:51]prophet or an imam can reach a level where they're ready to
[34:54]give everything away for that particular personality that's number one number two
[34:58]that the disciples are not all the same level the fact that
[35:04]judas was the one who backstabbed nabi islam which i'll come to
[35:06]when i have my lecture on whether jesus was crucified according to
[35:09]the quran or not judas backstabbed and he is one of the
[35:12]disciples it highlights that someone can be very close to our prophet
[35:18]and turn out to be the biggest monah someone can be so
[35:22]close to a prophet and turn out to be the biggest backstabber
[35:26]and i'll come to that in my discussion of backstabbing a prophet
[35:30]before you want to kill him and how you go about it
[35:32]i'll come to that when i talk about crucifixion number two number
[35:36]three you find that amongst these therefore they had been on different
[35:40]levels but not each one of them was ready this is important
[35:45]asked what's the difference between the disciples of nebraska for example the
[35:51]disciples of imam ali alayhi salaam and their little bait he says
[35:54]the disciples of jesus were ready to be there and stand up
[35:59]for him every time the jews attacked him whereas ours are ready
[36:02]at all the time look at the difference between the two nibiru
[36:05]disciples were ready to lose their lives but there were certain situations
[36:10]where isa wanted more from them of course by the way let's
[36:13]make something clear the disciples the way the christians depict them and
[36:17]the way we muslims depict them is completely different you know you
[36:21]look in the bible you see matthew mark luke and john and
[36:24]when you see matthew mark luke and john for us for example
[36:28]where are the words written about these disciples that i've mentioned the
[36:32]words are normally written in the acts of the apostles but the
[36:37]acts of the apostles is the composition of luke it's not the
[36:40]actual sermons of the disciples for me the disciples were jewish jewish
[36:44]in the sense of that time of course they were believers in
[36:49]one god and the clearest proof that there was differences in the
[36:52]church between the teachings of the original disciples and what christianity became
[36:56]is when paul in his second letter to corinthians makes it clear
[37:00]there are people from different opinions entering the territory of the church
[37:05]meaning that people like peter and people like paul completely opposite opinions
[37:12]about god paul become the most important person in christianity higher than
[37:18]the other disciples suddenly everything half of the new testament is paul
[37:24]baba what happened to the 12 disciples how is it that paul's
[37:31]christianity suddenly becomes the most important in the bible what do i
[37:35]have from the disciples at most at most maybe peter one of
[37:38]his works that most has taken and not the pseudo work which
[37:42]we see in the second one so now when you therefore see
[37:44]this you see nabi is 12 disciples they were the yes in
[37:56]the sunni world who is the disciple the hawaii of rasulallah is
[38:04]seen as the disciple of rasulallah you know from the battle of
[38:10]jamal they say because of zubair's bravery when he went to the
[38:14]jews of benue rasulullah is narrated to have said for every prophet
[38:18]there is a disciple and mine is that's in the sunni world
[38:24]in the shia world who are rasulullah they are so three what
[38:33]is the difference between them and the hawaii he said not every
[38:38]time he needed them they were there necessarily to stand up for
[38:41]him and we will see this in the crucifixion that some of
[38:44]them begin to show that i don't really know him do i
[38:46]know him there's a state of fear salman especially never once in
[38:54]his life did he waver in his support for rasulallah even when
[38:59]the battles of islam like better were about to happen and you
[39:02]had companions who were like are we really going to win better
[39:04]there's so many of them there's a few of us like what
[39:07]are you talking about i'll go into the sea for rasulullah and
[39:12]not be like the jews who said to moses go you and
[39:14]your lord.
[39:17]of rasulallah like the hawaii of is no greater because they gave
[39:24]everything someone says why not with his great position which someone like
[39:29]me is even worthy of talking about a couple of times the
[39:34]odd doubt had come into his mind in terms of certain decisions
[39:36]after the prophet died which he then of course managed to make
[39:43]amends for with his shahada at the battle of safin no doubt
[39:45]no doubt but we said the hawaii have levels the levels of
[39:51]salman does not come near those levels are the highest and that's
[39:55]why the question arises if jesus had disciples did imam ali abby's
[40:01]who are the four disciples of imam ali on the day of
[40:06]judgment the hadith says there will be a caller who will call
[40:12]out where are the disciples of ali where are the then four
[40:16]stand up who are those four the first of them that's the
[40:22]first of the disciples of imam meaning these are the ones till
[40:26]death they were ready to give all their limbs for their love
[40:30]for emir they had mastered the knowledge they had given them they
[40:33]had spread that knowledge the first of them me ali's greatest companions
[40:39]you'll name malik he says malik is to me like i was
[40:44]but he's not in the disciples not in the list of the
[40:47]disciples you asked moshe kumail bin ziyad not in the list of
[40:50]disciples bhagavan nobody not in the list of great personalities not in
[40:55]the list of the hawari the hawaii the first of them one
[41:03]day when he supplied water to rasulullah the prophet prayed ya allah
[41:10]give him old age make him young even in his old age
[41:12]keep his youth for him this was a man who had been
[41:18]loyal to albeit in all their trials and tribulations jamal front lines
[41:23]suffering front line narawan front line no one could penetrate amar benham
[41:29]he was there at the front his wife amina fervent lover of
[41:32]amir al-m first to speak out against uthman and the government of
[41:41]the time and the nepotism where the umayyads were finding themselves back
[41:45]into the islamic fold and because of him speaking out and because
[41:48]of him being loyal to amir al-m it led to his martyrdom
[41:53]ziad accused amor because you know these companions of mola could not
[41:59]take how molar was being cursed on the member they were doing
[42:03]ammar spoke out ziyad what do you do in any country when
[42:08]you have a political enemy you charge them with blasphemy you say
[42:12]this person committed blasphemy they captured um the first head in islam
[42:18]to be paraded on a spear in public was killed by muawiyah
[42:26]and his henchmen before that in islam we never had this idea
[42:29]where you put a head on a spear and parade in public
[42:33]the first was and his wife amin they tortured her as well
[42:37]because of their love for emir on the day of judgment the
[42:44]caller will call out where are the disciples of rasulallah the first
[42:49]to stand up number two muhammad son of abu bakr abu bakr
[42:55]had a son by the name of muhammad from his wife when
[43:00]asma married imam islam muhammad was a few years of age muhammad
[43:06]was raised by who was raised by imam muhammad's loyalty was only
[43:14]to abu torab nobody else he gave his whole life people sometimes
[43:17]say but you know i have to follow my father's way this
[43:21]is my dad no you don't he could have followed his dad's
[43:23]way he was loyal only to abu torab and he was loyal
[43:28]to abu torab against his own sister that on the battle of
[43:30]jamal he made it clear you and me come from the same
[43:35]father there's no doubt but i'm with abu torad that's my real
[43:38]master you could follow who you want he is the one who
[43:42]held his sister when she fell from the camel when she called
[43:46]out don't touch my body this is the body of the wife
[43:47]of rasulallah said i'm your brother holding you the only man who
[43:50]could hold on that battlefield was muhammad when he was killed they
[44:07]then placed his body in a dead donkey and then they stitched
[44:10]up the donkey and burnt it as you do as human beings
[44:15]but what do i expect that the son of a cannonball remains
[44:17]an animal so that's number two number three what do we have
[44:23]number three we have of the third of these was owais waste
[44:27]never met rasulullah but rasulullah when he knew always that come to
[44:34]medina he said i smell the fragrance of jannah has always been
[44:39]here many non-shia praise always ask them how did he die what
[44:45]does history stop at sacrifice history stopped that's it history has a
[44:52]pause you know you pause this tv screen pause pause jose mourinho
[44:58]pause you say he's one of the hawari of rasulallah why'd you
[45:11]pause tell me in german what happened to him we're running away
[45:15]pause of muawiyah and the animals that surrounded muawiyah away stood up
[45:37]in the battle of safin alongside imam and he died as a
[45:43]shaheed alongside imam ali alayhi and where is he buried in the
[45:48]raqqa where all isis and all of them are they bombed his
[45:50]shrine but what you would you expect by my lineages of cannibals
[45:55]is what you expect so now you have number three and then
[46:00]number four who's the fourth disciple these four are the ones who
[46:13]are told get up they where are the disciples of ali and
[46:16]they get up one by one they are the hawaii of ali
[46:20]what do you say about mathematics reading while you know your tongue
[46:25]is about to be cut who can reach that level why are
[46:30]they higher than jesus's disciples because of the fact they were there
[46:34]for their master at every time no backstabbing no disloyalty if their
[46:38]master was dead or their master was alive they will never accept
[46:43]an attack on him never how dare you insult him you know
[46:47]you think i will stop reciting the father islam ali made them
[46:49]said even see i said i'll cut your tongue said my master
[46:52]said that that's what's gonna happen i'm gonna keep reciting do it
[46:55]please so my master's proved right anybody's said then i won't i'll
[47:00]prove him wrong until the father it got too much the father
[47:04]got too much imagine they put us a spear through him and
[47:10]cut his tongue tamar because he highlighted to all of us you
[47:15]can never ever in your life praise amir al-mu'min enough there is
[47:20]no point to living if we never had alibaba in our life
[47:25]believe you me what else can you have the only man who
[47:32]embodied rasulullah essence and character is in every aspect of his life
[47:38]and that's why people like the christians adore him hindus write poetry
[47:41]about him and people like these disciples gave their lives away for
[47:45]him on a night like this the night of the 20th of
[47:51]shah ramadan it breaks our hearts why people normally do 19 they
[47:54]jump to 21.
[47:56]the mosque is full on 19 the mosque is full on 21
[48:01]on that 20 the numbers go down but that's because of a
[48:03]lack of reflection if your father i ask each of you was
[48:10]injured bleeding the cut has gone so deep i ask each and
[48:12]every one of you would you find it normal to not honor
[48:16]your father on such a night injured to an extent the injury
[48:21]went so far that the doctor turned around towards imam alhassan and
[48:28]imam al-hussein and he said to them that this is going to
[48:32]be the last night for him he's going to return to his
[48:37]lord very soon because this injury is too deep remember he was
[48:41]hit in exactly the same place that no wood hit him so
[48:47]already there was a cut and eben shaytan went even deeper in
[48:54]that cut the moment the doctor said that to imam al-hasan and
[48:58]imam al-hussein they were broken especially imam al-hussein imam al-hussein found it
[49:06]very difficult to hear that news like all of us would find
[49:09]it difficult if we're hearing that our father is in his last
[49:14]moments how difficult would it be for all of us but you
[49:17]found that imam al-hussein was inconsolable he was the one who came
[49:25]near his father and he lay near his father and the tears
[49:29]began to trickle from the eyes of abba abdullah his father could
[49:33]tell that hussain was not in the right state he could tell
[49:39]imam al-hussein was broken so his father said hussain come near me
[49:44]when imam al-hussein came near his father the narrations mentioned that his
[49:50]father placed his hands on the heart of imam al-hussein his father
[49:57]placed his hands on the heart of imam al-hussein imam hussain at
[50:04]that moment was able to look his father in his eyes he
[50:09]said to his father what is my life without your father imagine
[50:14]for imam hussain he had lost his mother already and now his
[50:21]father his father who meant everything to him placed his hand both
[50:40]of them crying he said to the both of them he said
[50:45]both of you try and remain calm imam himself tried to remain
[50:50]calm but when the imam saw zayn about herself crying at that
[50:54]moment the imam began to cry himself imagine imam ali sees hassan
[51:01]hussain crying but he doesn't cry but when he saw zainab crying
[51:05]the imam himself began to cry saying saying that my dear come
[51:14]next to me zayn and it's as if he knew there'd be
[51:18]a day where zainab would be alone alone on the plains now
[51:32]the family were all around him the companions on that night who
[51:39]was there by that time muhammad abu bakr had already died and
[51:42]you found for example amongst the others who had already died there
[51:47]were many others of the companions of amir al-mu'min who had passed
[51:51]away always had passed away but at that time who was still
[51:57]alive tamar was still alive and he was there he was still
[52:01]alive and he was there they came all of them one by
[52:14]one after the family had left the imam as you do you
[52:16]come as the companions and the disciples of imam emira you come
[52:21]and you bid farewell to your maula they came they sat next
[52:28]to them allah crying one next to the other the imam asked
[52:32]each of them he said remain patient in this time some of
[52:37]them were inconsolable the imam turned to imam al-hassan he said all
[52:43]my son hasn't told them they may leave they may return back
[52:47]to their families imam al-hasan looked at each of them he said
[52:52]you could leave now leave my father it was very hard to
[52:55]pick up some of them some of them never wanted to leave
[52:59]imam we've never seen you and it's hard for us to leave
[53:06]the land of najib and to leave your body how hard must
[53:10]it have been for those who have seen you to see you
[53:14]injured in this way on the night of the twenties of shah
[53:16]ramadan for all of you at home who wish you could be
[53:21]in najaf at this moment your tears count for your presence in
[53:27]nature when they left they all left imam hassan was next to
[53:30]imam ali suddenly imam ali turned to imam al-hasan he said my
[53:34]son i hear someone is outside he's still crying imam al-hassan went
[53:40]outside he opened the how came back inside he sat near the
[54:11]bed of imam ali this conversation i recited every year one lie
[54:16]breaks the heart imam ali looked towards al-asbada he said to him
[54:20]do not worry jen awaits [Music] [Applause] i cry not because i
[54:38]have any doubts about that rather i cry because how will i
[54:45]live in a world separated from you how can i live on
[54:49]this earth and my who are facing difficulties in their life let's
[55:33]all recite the eye of the quran [Music] and on this particular
[55:56]moment this moment these are the most important moments you come to
