[0:07][Music] Hussein.
[0:39]Alhamdulillah.
[0:41]for was hab Amen.
[1:13]Alhamdulillah.
[1:30]Amen.
[1:33]Alhamdulillah.
[1:38][Applause] [Applause] The first of our salawat in honor of Muhammad Sam.
[2:02]A second even louder salawat in honor of Imman.
[2:11]A third with your loudest voices in honor of the Imam of
[2:15]our time.
[2:16]Im Respected scholars, brothers and sisters, say the shada or the master
[2:34]of martyrs is one of the highest titles any Muslim could be
[2:37]given.
[2:38]This title is an honorific title.
[2:40]As we know the shahid generally occupies the highest of positions within
[2:47]the religion of Islam because when you look at the word shahed
[2:50]automatically the first thing that comes to your mind is this idea
[2:57]of a witness.
[2:56]When you want for example someone to be a witness in court
[3:01]you say I need what I need a shahid or I want
[3:06]someone to be a witness for I need two witnesses.
[3:11]So therefore the idea of the shahid is this idea of a
[3:14]witness when it comes to the one who dies in the way
[3:19]of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala especially on the battlefield that person especially
[3:25]when Allah or the prophet or give him a title automatically is
[3:31]seen as a witness to the pure truth of the message of
[3:36]Allah subhana wa ta'ala.
[3:37]Therefore, when someone asks you, "What is a shahid?" A shahid is
[3:41]someone who is a witness to the truth.
[3:45]That person stands up for the truth.
[3:48]They may stand up for the truth in different environments.
[3:52]But the ultimate environment of standing up and being a witness to
[3:59]the truth is on the battlefield.
[4:00]Because you know there are certain who are victorious in there are
[4:09]others who have a great station and there are others who have
[4:16]a great station mainly in someone says what do you mean there
[4:21]are some martyrs their position is a great position in for example
[4:25]if today you hear sometimes a statement that someone has died in
[4:33]a bomb blast.
[4:33]When that person has died in a bomb blast, sometimes people will
[4:37]call them shuada.
[4:39]Shuada is in the sense of what?
[4:44]In the sense that this person died as a witness to the
[4:47]truth.
[4:47]He will have a reward in the hereafter like the shahid.
[4:54]But in dunya the laws of the shahid do not apply to
[5:00]them.
[5:01]In which sense there is the second type who is a shahid
[5:04]who is rewarded in and who's that?
[5:07]The one who is killed in the battlefield.
[5:09]That one who's killed in the battlefield.
[5:13]Do you need to do for them?
[5:14]No.
[5:15]Kean for them?
[5:18]No.
[5:19]The will look after their and will look after their that personwise
[5:26]when normally a body someone dies you normally say the body is
[5:32]ne don't you except who the shahed shahid who's died where on
[5:36]the battlefield the one who dies on the battlefield that shahed is
[5:40]victorious in dy and victorious in then you might have Somebody who
[5:50]is a shahid who is victorious in but not necessarily in someone
[5:54]says how that person may have been a witness to the truth
[5:57]but they may have done something wrong in the battlefield which means
[6:03]in their status may not be the highest an example I fight
[6:06]in a battle I'm fighting the opposition I'm against the kufur but
[6:10]then when I see the spoils of war I take the spoils
[6:14]and run away from that battle That person may be killed in
[6:20]that battle, but the last thing they did was run away with
[6:23]spoils of war rather than defend the prophet of Allah subhana wa
[6:27]ta'ala.
[6:27]Therefore, when it comes to the Shahid, the Shahid theologically has a
[6:33]high status, spiritually a high status.
[6:37]when it comes to ethically a high status and hence no ayah
[6:43]of the Quran covers this in one statement like the ayurah verse
[6:49]169 do not count those who have died in the way of
[7:05]Allah as being dead rather They are alive receiving from their lord.
[7:11]Islamic history has been replete with but only a couple have been
[7:22]called.
[7:19]Those two are who Hamza bdib and im hussein.
[7:26]Someone asks the question say the shuada to the Muslim world who
[7:31]is it to the whole Muslim world normally they will say it's
[7:35]abduct if you were to ask many non-sh in the world today
[7:41]who is say he'll say to you abd if you ask today
[7:47]who is say they will say to you correct the question arises
[7:55]is there a similarity Between the two is there one higher than
[8:00]the other if called Hamza say but then isn't that meaning that
[8:11]Hamza remains say how did the view the title say?
[8:15]What happened when Hamza died and how we wear black today?
[8:21]What happened when Hamza died and how we cry today?
[8:26]What happened to the body of Hamza?
[8:27]And how do all of these things relate to the aadari of
[8:31]Imam Hussein?
[8:32]Let us tonight examine the greatest of titles to see its evolution
[8:41]from Hamza Abdalib to Hussein Ali.
[8:43]When you come to the highest title, normally it is given to
[8:53]Hamza.
[8:51]Hamza as we know is respected by all Muslims.
[8:55]There isn't a single Muslim in the world today who does not
[9:03]revers.
[9:00]If you go to Shia or non Shia alike, all of them
[9:08]say had a number of uncles.
[9:10]Some of those uncles were the good, some were the bad and
[9:13]some were ugly.
[9:16]In which sense of the ugly ones we know Abuahab is the
[9:18]biggest enemy of Allah.
[9:22]That's why you may have a family member who is your biggest
[9:28]enemy.
[9:29]Always remember because sometimes your family members may be a test from
[9:36]Allah subhana wa ta'ala for you.
[9:37]Abuab uncle of Allah enemy ofasool Allah.
[9:41]Then Allah had a gem of an uncle and one of the
[9:45]of Abu Talib.
[9:50]Abu Talib for the Shia is not just uncle of Allah sallallahu
[9:56]alaihi wasall Abu Talib for the SH is one of the successors
[10:02]of Isaam.
[10:04]That line that continued of guidance from Isa until they were the
[10:16]pure ones.
[10:15]The pure ones Abdullah father of Allah sallallahu alaihi the pure ones
[10:23]Abu Talib and you know us the Shia we are the only
[10:25]ones in the world today the only school in Islam that believes
[10:29]Allah's mother and father are in Jenna.
[10:33]Imagine how many other schools there are in Islam.
[10:36]Ask any of them what's in your opinion is Allah's mom Amina
[10:43]and his father Abdullah and Jenna say no baba Baba they died.
[10:47]So Allah subhana wa ta'ala of all the people he gave haya.
[10:51]Muhammad's parents he couldn't give haya.
[10:53]Everyone else he gave haya.
[10:55]Tom, Dig, Harry, Steve, John, Amar, all of us he gave haya
[11:02]but he couldn't give the parents of Allah haya.
[11:03]There are some schools not all some schools who are non who
[11:11]believe Allah's mother and his father Abdullah are in hell.
[11:14]They believe that his uncle Abu Talib is in hell as well.
[11:19]You say Abu Talib when did he put a foot wrong for
[11:21]him to be in hell?
[11:23]They said, "But we never heard shahada from him." Yes.
[11:26]Yes.
[11:24]Yes.
[11:25]No problem.
[11:26]There are many we've heard shahada from.
[11:29]The biggest people, mashallah, they've read shahada all day.
[11:31]The slanderers, shahada all day.
[11:36]The ones who look religious, shahada all day.
[11:37]Abu Talib, if he's read no shahada and he's lived like a
[11:42]Muslim, I'd take a million one Abu Talib rather than a million
[11:45]of these.
[11:46]Yes.
[11:47]But Abu Talib in other schools in Islam, what is he?
[11:53]Abu Talib is kafir.
[11:53]Abdah is kafar.
[11:55]Amina is kafar.
[11:55]When you tell your speakers to stop calling them kafar, then we'll
[12:03]tell our speakers to stop discussing history.
[12:04]It can't be a rule for you and another rule for us.
[12:09]How could you come and tell us to tell our speakers what
[12:14]they can say and what they can't say?
[12:16]You begin a law, I'll join you in the law.
[12:20]If you stop saying Abu Talib every year in your lectures and
[12:23]you stop calling Abdullah the parents of Allah on our end we
[12:31]will also stop discussing and critiquing critiquing history but how comes your
[12:36]mana can sit proudly every abdah I'm in a and I the
[12:45]have to sit back because I'm fearing bullying from Everybody that's unfair
[12:50]only one school in Islam is allowed to conclude on the kufur
[12:54]of people and then when we come to discuss why are you
[13:00]being sectarian he's allowed to call my uncle a kafir he's allowed
[13:04]to call my prophet's parents a kafir but when I talk automatically
[13:10]I'm being sectarian how forget calling them kufur hamza I'll give you
[13:15]an example for us What's one of the backbones of Sah?
[13:20]Don't we all agree?
[13:22]Is there a backbone like Hamza?
[13:23]There's no backbone like Hamza.
[13:24]So someone says, "Us and the Sunni world, we both agree on
[13:30]Hamza." No, we don't.
[13:30]Someone says, "No, no, we both agree.
[13:31]We both say he is a great man." Yeah.
[13:34]Yeah.
[13:34]We both say he's a great man.
[13:36]But Sah Muslim talks about him being a drunkard as well.
[13:40]Say what do you mean drunkard?
[13:42]When you go to Sah Muslim, come to the section on Hamza.
[13:46]And mind you, for me, the biography of Hamza, half of it
[13:51]I do not trust because if I became Khalifa and my mommy
[13:58]hated someone, trust me, I'll ruin that person's reputation.
[14:00]I'll let you do the jigsaw pieces of what I just said.
[14:07]Yeah.
[14:04]When it comes to Hamza, Hamza for us, what is he?
[14:10]Hamza is a backbone.
[14:12]Hamza is similar age to Allah Sall.
[14:14]You know sometimes you and your uncle you call him uncle but
[14:16]you you might be the same age.
[14:17]Hamza was the same age similar age to at the beginning nobody
[14:27]protected before he even announced Islam like Hamza theool would say and
[14:36]Hamza were the ones who were running that Hamza if anyone dared
[14:42]insult the first to stand up was Hamza and that could have
[14:47]been part of What made him announce his Islam publicly?
[14:51]Cuz you know at the beginning Hamza was like any others of
[14:53]the Quraysh a couple of years into the message of Allah two
[14:59]incidents occurred.
[15:01]The first of them Abu Jahal insulted.
[15:05]Whether that insult was verbal or whether it was a spit on
[15:11]Hamza was coming back.
[15:14]This lady came to Hamza.
[15:15]When that lady came back to Hamza, she saw him.
[15:19]She said to him, "You heard what happened to your nephew?" He
[15:22]said, "What?" Said that Abu Jahal insulted him.
[15:25]Abu Jahal insulted my nephew.
[15:26]He said, "I know my nephew has just announced Islam to the
[15:31]whole public.
[15:30]Abu Jah insulted him." He went to Abu Jahal and smacked him
[15:36]a smack.
[15:37]He said, "If any of you touch Muhammad again, then you face
[15:41]me.
[15:42]You respect me.
[15:42]You say I'm Hamza the Magnanimous." You know Hamza means lion.
[15:47]I'm Hamza, the sharpsighted lion.
[15:48]Wallah, he'll see the lion come out on all of you who
[15:54]affect Muhammad.
[15:52]If any of you touch Muhammad or any of you touch my
[15:58]nephew Ali or any of you touch my nephew, notice these names.
[16:03]This is I'm talking the purity of Islam.
[16:06]These these are the highest level of Islam.
[16:08]If any of you touch them, I'll kill all of you one
[16:12]by one.
[16:11]Another opinion was no.
[16:13]A uterus of a camel was thrown on Rasool Allah's head while
[16:17]he was in sujud.
[16:20]When Hamzb Abdalib heard this, he said, I tried to remain away
[16:23]from announcing Islam publicly because I didn't want to cause tension between
[16:27]everyone here.
[16:29]Now I say in front of all of you, there is no
[16:33]God but God.
[16:32]And my nephew is the messenger of God and I follow him
[16:39]in everything for the Shia.
[16:40]Hamza converted early for the Shia.
[16:44]Hamza converted early.
[16:47]But if I rule Islam in Sham and my mom and my
[16:49]dad's bitter enemy was him, so what do I do with the
[16:53]books of history?
[16:55]I make his conversion sound late.
[16:56]And not only make his conversion sound late, I make him sound
[17:00]the worst.
[17:02]Minhal will help me because why?
[17:03]Because I want to open sah Muslim tonight for all of you
[17:05]to see it.
[17:07]Muslim the book of drinks.
[17:11]Show the chapter to everybody.
[17:12]There it is.
[17:14]All of you could see at home and all of you here
[17:15]in the Jamaat could see translation of Sah Muslim.
[17:20]Book 23.
[17:22]Which book?
[17:22]Drinks.
[17:22]You want to know about drinks and alcohol and intoxicants?
[17:28]Let's welcome Sah Muslim into our lives.
[17:32]Go please to the hadith of the drunk Hamza.
[17:33]There you go.
[17:35]Book 23.
[17:36]Muslim.
[17:37]So that just in case someone says to me where did you
[17:39]get this from?
[17:41]In front of you there is Muslim.
[17:43]Look what it says.
[17:44]Hussein mashallah reported from having said there fell to my lot a
[17:53]she camel out of the spoils of war on the day of
[17:58]better had finished.
[17:58]Imam Ali from the spoils of war was given what?
[18:02]A she camel.
[18:04]I want everyone to focus on this hadith.
[18:06]And Allah's messenger gave me another she camel on that day out
[18:13]of the of the 15th which goes to when the battle has
[18:17]taken place.
[18:20]Correct.
[18:18]When I made up my mind to consummate my marriage with Fat
[18:25]Zaham, the daughter of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasall I prevailed upon a
[18:31]goldsmith of the tribe of Im Ali continues to talk about how
[18:34]he was wishing to sell to the goldsmith and thus I should
[18:39]be able to arrange my wedding feast.
[18:42]Subhan Allah.
[18:41]Mh's wedding.
[18:42]He's got to sell this and sell that so he can have
[18:46]a wedding feast.
[18:45]This is the second greatest creation of Allah subhana wa ta'ala.
[18:48]Look how basic he is when it comes to getting married.
[18:52]When it comes there while I was arranging the equipment, lifters, sacks,
[18:56]ropes, my two she camels were sitting down at the side of
[19:02]the apartment of a person of Ansar, I collected the different articles
[19:06]of equipment and found to my surprise, listen to this everybody, listen
[19:10]to this, two camels.
[19:10]I found to my surprise that their humps had been chopped off
[19:14]and their hornches had been cut off and their livers had been
[19:22]taken out.
[19:22]Seems familiar.
[19:25]I could not help weeping when I saw the plight of this.
[19:29]I said, "Who has done that?" They said, "Hams Abdut have done
[19:33]that to your camels." Hamsd has done this and he is in
[19:43]the house dead drunk in the company of the some of the
[19:50]ansar with singing girls before him and his companions.
[19:54]This singing girl she said in her song, "Oh Hamza, get up
[19:59]and attack these camels." Hamza stood up with a sword, cut off
[20:02]their humps, ripped their hunches, and tore out their livers.
[20:06]Someone's got getting revenge in hadith literature now.
[20:11]Ali said, "I went away until I came to Allah's messenger and
[20:18]there I was with him and Zade, Allah's messenger, when I told
[20:24]him what had happened.
[20:24]Allah's messenger he turned around and he said that Hamz has committed
[20:30]Imam Ali said Hamz has committed aggression to my she camels cut
[20:34]off their hs ripped their hunches and he's in a house of
[20:42]drunkards Allah got up he went there then they followed him until
[20:44]they came into the door of the house in which there was
[20:46]hamza Allah sought permission which they granted him and they were all
[20:52]drunk mashallah Allah began Allah 's messenger began to reprimand Hamza for
[20:57]what he had done.
[20:57]Hamza's eyes were red.
[21:00]Clearly a sign of drunkenness.
[21:00]He cast a glance at Allah's messenger and then looked towards his
[21:04]knees and then lifted his eyes and cast a glance at his
[21:10]waist and then lifted his eyes and saw his face and then
[21:15]Hamza said to Allah, "Are you anything but the slaves of my
[21:19]dad?" Allah's messenger came to know that he was intoxicated and he
[21:24]thus turned upon his heels came out and we also went out
[21:30]with him.
[21:28]Come back to me.
[21:32]Hamza is respected by all Muslims.
[21:36]Do you agree?
[21:37]Shiaism is in a different level of respect to any other school.
[21:41]When I make these things clear, by the way, it is not
[21:45]my interest what the other school thinks.
[21:47]It's for you to have your chest out when you walk.
[21:51]Sah Muslim is saying the following.
[21:54]Number one, Allah's companions didn't mind the drink.
[21:55]I'm not saying, by the way, Sah Muslim, did you all see
[22:01]it or no?
[22:03]Did you see it or did I say it?
[22:05]Sah Muslim says they were all drunk.
[22:08]Not just drunk, they bring girls home.
[22:10]That's why there's masum and non-mas.
[22:12]That's why a non-Masum cannot lead Islam because me and Jew there's
[22:19]no difference.
[22:17]We can do haram.
[22:20]They could do haram.
[22:22]Hamza is drunk.
[22:23]When when Imam Ali wants to consummate his marriage with BB Fatama.
[22:27]Imm Ali's marriage to Bif Fat.
[22:29]When was it?
[22:33]When?
[22:34]Around when?
[22:37]Anyone?
[22:37]Would you agree?
[22:39]The second year after Hijra.
[22:40]When does Shiaam say Hamza became Muslim?
[22:43]What did I say earlier?
[22:46]What do we say when Hamza became Muslim?
[22:52]When the second year of what?
[22:52]Of the second year of the prophethood of Allah.
[23:00]Hamza became what?
[23:05]Muslim.
[23:03]here.
[23:05]Hamza is drunk 15 years after.
[23:10]Has everyone done the maths with me or no?
[23:12]If you haven't, if you Let me make something very clear to
[23:16]you.
[23:17]If you haven't done the maths, tonight, tonight, make a pledge like
[23:21]how you do on the 23rd night with all these random duas
[23:24]and pledges.
[23:26]And tonight make a pledge that I will begin getting closer to
[23:31]the life of my prophet.
[23:33]Those who've done the maths will know what I'm talking about.
[23:37]How did I calculate 15 years?
[23:40]Allah was in Mecca.
[23:43]How many years?
[23:43]When he announced his prophethood, how many years was he in Mecca?
[23:50]13 years.
[23:48]And how many years in Medina?
[23:53]10.
[23:54]If Hamza has joined Islam in the second year of the prophethood
[23:58]and we add 11 and then we add another couple where are
[24:04]we?
[24:02]We're talking about 13 to 15 years after the announcement of Noua
[24:09]for the Shia Hamza as soon as Allah announces he's joined Islam.
[24:14]Here we have a man who's drunk with girls in the Medina
[24:21]of Allah.
[24:20]Because Im Albat where did they get married?
[24:23]Medina.
[24:24]When did they get married?
[24:25]After hijra I im Ali is saying I'm going to prepare the
[24:30]wima of my wedding.
[24:30]My uncle's drunk at home with girls.
[24:33]That's the same Islam.
[24:37]Is it the same or not?
[24:41]Well, the problem is if I say say what how could you
[24:47]say if you don't say these young ones will grow up with
[24:51]weak they won't realize what the difference is they'll just say it's
[24:56]all one there's a difference between those who see Hamza in his
[25:00]purity and those who insult him did you notice by the way
[25:06]that there's something which highlights this is a Muawiaesque hadith Hamza was
[25:11]ripping the liver out of the camel.
[25:15]Someone's got her own back.
[25:17]And I don't blame her because if her boy is Khalifa and
[25:23]the pens are in his hands, I'd get my own back as
[25:29]well.
[25:30]What's the image of Hamza there?
[25:33]This Hamza mutilates bodies.
[25:35]Hamza mutilates the body of an animal.
[25:38]And he was ripping this camel into pieces.
[25:41]Why?
[25:42]So that later on if you accuse me of it, I say
[25:46]he was also known.
[25:48]See how the game is played.
[25:52]This is when before the battle of Hamza comes to the battle
[25:55]of Badr him and annihilation of the opposition.
[25:58]Annihilation it became a joke.
[26:00]The two of them going through the opposition army.
[26:03]But there was a problem.
[26:03]What was the problem?
[26:07]Alib killed too many at better.
[26:09]Now, someone says, "What do you mean kill too many?" Every time
[26:11]you kill someone in the battle, there's going to be a day
[26:15]his son or his daughter is going to want to kill you.
[26:17]Imm Ali's youth came back to haunt him.
[26:20]At better mah was how old?
[26:22]24.
[26:24]25.
[26:26]Kandak 27.
[26:28]How old was Mha?
[26:31]29.
[26:32]Someone's going to be pretty envious of you if in your 20s
[26:35]you get all the plaudits in the battle of a decision had
[26:42]been made and his uncle Hamza would be at the front of
[26:48]the battle.
[26:46]Allah where is he on the mountain of Hamza is at the
[26:54]front confident.
[26:55]Hind and two others want revenge for the deaths of their fathers
[27:01]from bad.
[27:03]Jabar was one was another and her she lost her father destroyed
[27:09]by on the day of bad.
[27:11]Hind came to who?
[27:11]Hinn came to Washi.
[27:14]when she came to Washi.
[27:15]Subhan Allah.
[27:17]Know that history repeats itself.
[27:19]How?
[27:20]What do people sell their dunya for?
[27:23]What do people sell their dunya for?
[27:25]Either some clothes or some jewelry or some money.
[27:29]Would you agree?
[27:29]This is the human being.
[27:32]Human being.
[27:31]She said to him, "Washi, I'll give you 10 dinars.
[27:35]Exactly 10.
[27:36]And I'll give you clothes and I'll give you jewelry." He said,
[27:39]"What do you want?" She said, "I want's liver ripped into pieces.
[27:46]He said to her, "Who is this man?" She said, "Abs what
[27:53]he done to me and he done to him and he done
[27:57]to him.
[27:58]We're all ready to pay.
[27:58]I want him ripped into pieces wherever he is in that battle."
[28:02]The books of history, what did they do?
[28:04]They said, "Washi, the aim was Hamza.
[28:10]It became Hamza.
[28:14]It wasn't Hamza.
[28:15]Even that film, the message gives it away.
[28:18]Remember when the when Hind is sitting and Wii is throwing spears,
[28:23]there's these dancers and he throws the spear right in the middle
[28:29]of the small hole.
[28:29]And then she comes to him and and you see in the
[28:33]film she shouts, "Muhammad, Muhammad, Ali, Hamza." You've seen that scene.
[28:41]It's one of the most famous scenes in the battle in the
[28:43]film of Rasal and the message.
[28:44]Muhammad Ali Hamza Hamza.
[28:49]Look at the order of the names.
[28:53]I would say look at who's missing, but that's for another day.
[28:57]Look at the order of the names.
[28:59]Who's the order of the names?
[29:06]Muhammad, Ali, Hamza.
[29:07]Say Muhammad, Ali, Hamza.
[29:09]She says to him, he makes it clear to her at the
[29:12]beginning of the battle will never be killed in the battlefield.
[29:18]She's like, "What do you mean?" Said, "He'll never be killed." The
[29:22]man has eyes on the back of his head in battle.
[29:24]Even if you throw a spear behind him, he'll turn and hold
[29:29]it.
[29:28]There's no way I can kill him.
[29:30]She said, "Then who will you kill?" He said, "Hams is easy.
[29:33]when he fights his stance is so wide open a spear I
[29:39]can get through she said so Ali no chance he said I'm
[29:42]telling you will never be killed on a battlefield it's impossible he
[29:47]said I'm looking at him pride did ever get killed on a
[29:52]battlefield I ask all of you in this hall how did they
[29:53]kill him the cowardan killed him where in sajjud never on the
[30:03]battlefield he got that spear into Hamza.
[30:06]Hamza fell on the floor.
[30:07]Imam Ali turned around.
[30:11]As Hamza fell, he took the mantle, continued fighting, but then he
[30:15]looked the other way.
[30:16]Muhammad Sahaba are running.
[30:16]When he saw them running, he knew Wal was going to come
[30:22]around the mountain.
[30:22]Mh went to the mountain.
[30:25]An almighty battle happened.
[30:25]Allah and Mh and five six others remained alone on that mountain.
[30:30]Everybody else, where were they?
[30:31]They had run away.
[30:34]Now Hen said to Washi, "Show me where's his body?
[30:36]Where's his body?" He took her to the body.
[30:40]What did he do when he took her?
[30:42]She came.
[30:43]She said, "Leave me alone with the body." Now, firstly, rip it
[30:50]up.
[30:50]Rip it up.
[30:49]When beni all of you know where I'm heading.
[30:56]When benny hate you, they don't just say shot dead.
[31:00]They have to rip your body into pieces.
[31:04]Because when the grandmother or the matriarch of a family is behaved
[31:12]in a way the grandkids behave in that way.
[31:17]If a matriarch of a family is of of decency, then know
[31:21]that the rest of the family will be what?
[31:25]Decent.
[31:26]If the matriarch of a family is a cannibal, what are you
[31:29]going to expect is going to happen?
[31:29]Rip the body.
[31:31]Rip the body.
[31:33]He rips the body like how you would rip for a barbecue
[31:35]and get food ready.
[31:38]Yes.
[31:36]You've seen those mishkakis and nundus.
[31:38]Yeah.
[31:39]For that these examples I will not give.
[31:43]But you've seen how people find it normal to bring blood together
[31:48]and bring meat together.
[31:49]That lady found it normal to watch blood, watch meat, blood everywhere.
[31:55]And then she just turned around at that moment and she said,
[32:00]"Leave this to me." And she made a necklace of his kidney,
[32:02]of his liver.
[32:06]Who else was mutilated that day?
[32:15]Jabar Abdah Ansari's father Abdah Ansari Jabar this is vital for all
[32:19]of you to know where I'm heading tonight Jabber's father his body
[32:23]was mutilated as well so many bodies were mutilated from there began
[32:31]aari for us how today aadari people ask this question about why
[32:35]do we wear black why can't I come to the mosque wearing
[32:38]white yeah some people Some ask why do we continue to cry?
[32:43]If I cry, it happens.
[32:44]If it doesn't happen, why are you insisting Allah began from that
[32:49]day?
[32:50]In which way?
[32:49]Number one, the woman wear black clothing.
[32:53]My uncle has died zu wore black clothing in honor of the
[33:00]death of Hamza.
[33:02]That's why we wear black.
[33:03]It is not something we created.
[33:05]black.
[33:06]There are certain things in it which can go towards makru.
[33:11]There are certain things that can go towards methods of mourning.
[33:16]Number two saw the ansar you know many of these had died.
[33:19]Soasoolah was doing jadazas one after the other.
[33:24]Janaza janaza jaza jaza.
[33:24]He noticed all the ansar in Medina had people to cry for
[33:30]them but there was no woman to cry for his uncle Hamza.
[33:33]So Rasool Allah broke down.
[33:37]He said, "There's no one to cry for my uncle." Sad bin
[33:41]Muad heard this.
[33:42]Muad went to everybody.
[33:45]He said, "Bring all the woman of our tribe.
[33:49]Everybody come.
[33:47]We go to the house of Allah.
[33:51]We cry for Hamza.
[33:51]All the men and all the women.
[33:52]Yahasool Allah.
[33:54]Why are you getting so emotional?
[33:56]Islam doesn't need to be a religion of emotion.
[33:59]Islam is a religion of intellect." No, no, no.
[34:03]We sh are the perfect balance of intellect and emotion.
[34:05]We aren't a school that doesn't cry the whole year.
[34:10]We aren't a school that only cries.
[34:12]We are a school that has a nice balance medus of intellect
[34:15]for 45 minutes followed by a nice 5 minutes of emotion.
[34:20]Allah said I want to be able to cry for my uncle
[34:25]Hamza.
[34:26]Yeah, but the dead are dead.
[34:28]Allah will reward.
[34:30]I don't care.
[34:33]A medelus should have tears for people like Hamza.
[34:35]You should not have gatherings where you don't honor these people.
[34:39]Now look at the aadar of Hamza.
[34:41]Woman wearing black, woman crying, people gathering for me, people going for
[34:48]someone says there was no carbala at the time.
[34:51]Okay, there's no carbala.
[34:54]Then the carbala is the grave of Hamza because at that time
[35:00]Hamza was what?
[35:00]say a deserves that people travel to go to his grave.
[35:06]In those days there was no bus from and to now we
[35:10]have a shuttle.
[35:10]Yeah.
[35:11]Now we go on taxis.
[35:14]Yeah.
[35:14]In those days you had to walk towards that grave.
[35:15]And every step that you took Zahar would go every Thursday night
[35:20]to the grave of her uncle.
[35:21]You know what she would do?
[35:21]Get the clay from the grave and make a t.
[35:25]Does everyone see my aadar or no?
[35:30]This what do I have now?
[35:32]The clay is holy.
[35:31]The ziara is holy.
[35:34]The women are wearing black.
[35:35]Why?
[35:36]Because a master of marts special laws apply to them which don't
[35:40]necessarily apply to anyone else.
[35:46]That is say no.
[35:47]Why a person who dies as a martyr in the battlefield?
[35:51]Someone could die as a martyr at home.
[35:54]Someone could get but in the battlefield.
[35:56]No apply.
[35:58]Angels will do their angels will do their ke leave it to
[36:04]them as ham found out.
[36:04]Therefore when Hamza died the Muslim community at that time they understood
[36:10]that this is say that this is the master of martyrs.
[36:16]What happened in the Sunni world?
[36:19]Problem.
[36:20]What's the problem?
[36:20]problem is that his killers their sons become so we have to
[36:26]find a way back for mommy.
[36:27]So how do you find a way back in the Sunni world
[36:31]today?
[36:32]Hind converted hind you have to say next to her hind converted
[36:41]she changed at the end in the opening of Mecca.
[36:46]Hind became mulani she became the person who leads Islam.
[36:49]Yes, that's what Hinn became and Abu Sufyan became Islam.
[36:56]Yes, I'm telling you sharp as they come.
[37:03]You know, honestly, you have to rehabilitate yourself.
[37:04]So, first let's rehabilitate mom and dad.
[37:06]Yeah, but your mom was a cannibal.
[37:08]Yes, but you know, people are guided.
[37:12]And Washi who ripped Washi also became religious.
[37:15]Now, at least with there's more of this thing that he came
[37:20]to Allah and he said to are you and so but the
[37:21]other two I don't I don't know if you're going to say
[37:25]Abu Talib is in hell and Abu Sufyan makes it to heaven.
[37:32]It's at that moment if I had a chance I will retire.
[37:38]Abu Talib is where?
[37:42]Hell.
[37:42]But that's not an insult to Peter Bjamat.
[37:45]If another mosque says Abu Talib is in hell, is not an
[37:47]insult to Peter Braat, is it?
[37:49]Not an insult.
[37:56]No, I'm Shia.
[37:58]So I have to accept anything everyone else says.
[38:01]As a Shia, I have to sit quietly like a a child
[38:06]in a nursery.
[38:06]I have to sit.
[38:07]if I say something.
[38:10]But why?
[38:12]When he calls my Abu Talib and he says Abu Safy, I
[38:18]have to remain silent.
[38:19]You remain silent.
[38:21]You have your I have mine.
[38:24]You remain silent.
[38:26]You face Allah.
[38:28]Say I remain silent like Khabib and Muslim and the rest of
[38:31]them on Kbala.
[38:33]They really remain silent.
[38:34]Imagine that.
[38:38]Hi.
[38:38]Abu Sufyan Muawi.
[38:42]No, Muawi even sidestepped.
[38:46]Muawa said amir.
[38:50]All of these they done a great job.
[38:57]They rehabilitated themselves.
[38:55]But Allah said of what?
[38:59]Of the people of the first.
[39:02]The first people.
[39:02]He was the first martyr.
[39:03]Say the shada.
[39:07]However, said however, what is he?
[39:15]Im Hussein is the master of the martyrs of the previous and
[39:22]the ones to come as well.
[39:24]Someone says how when she was alive is she say that you
[39:31]agree Jesus's mom while she's alive Allah subhanana wa ta'ala said Allah
[39:43]chose Mary mother of Jesus and he purified her and he chose
[39:49]her over all the women.
[39:50]She was the greatest woman until who was born.
[39:53]Then when Z was born, she is say that.
[40:01]Likewise with Im Hussein, someone says why is Im Hussein high up
[40:06]than Hamza?
[40:08]Of course, for Shia.
[40:13]Why do you think why do you think 85% of the Muslim
[40:18]world yesterday was oblivious completely to cafes continued restaurants continued your friend
[40:26]who you do business deals with continued to live his life as
[40:29]if nothing's happening because for them Hussein Ali atmost child maybe prophet's
[40:38]grandkid for us no why is he say why is he Say
[40:43]the shar number one is a great man but not but he's
[40:53]a great man no doubt I hussein is purified by Allah subhana
[40:57]wa ta'ala Hamzb Abdalib was not inspired by Allah with Im Hussein
[41:03]was a walking beacon of yes Hamza bin Abdalib gave his life
[41:11]away but did not show us the meaning of human endurance in
[41:15]one day where you could go through everything alone with no more
[41:20]soldiers.
[41:20]He had to his right all of them were there.
[41:29]Hussein bin Ali was left alone for a couple of hours.
[41:32]He showed you the meaning of endurance until the end.
[41:35]Further than that, Imam Hamza when he died, Islam did not was
[41:39]not about to die.
[41:42]Islam was not about to die when Hamza died because two Msum
[41:48]was still there.
[41:47]Imam Hussein died at a time when Islam was nearly dead.
[41:53]Imm Hussein's conscience, his spirit is what saved Islam?
[41:59]What do we mean when we say saved Islam?
[42:02]Islam would have continued by the way with Benuaya.
[42:06]But the pure stream of wouldn't have continued.
[42:09]What do we mean?
[42:14]Islam there's two streams a stream and a stream both of them
[42:18]you can drink water from and both of them the water you're
[42:21]trying to drink is to take you to Allah both but there's
[42:26]a difference between water that may have some drops in it of
[42:28]mud versus water that's untouched that stream that Im Hussein kept alive
[42:38]is why he is according According to firstly and then secondly if
[42:50]calls him and that is Allah what if one of the imams
[42:55]says im when commenting on his father and the earth of he
[43:05]said who Im when he was commenting about the land of he
[43:15]didn't say it is the land where my father's buried only no
[43:20]he said it is the land that has in it the master
[43:25]of shuada all of these and therefore when Hamza died what were
[43:28]we ordered to do we were ordered to wear black look at
[43:33]all of us today how the sh worldwide and muharam You can
[43:36]spot a Shia walking in the streets or walking with their children
[43:39]with the black that they were.
[43:44]When Hamza died, what happened?
[43:45]Allah ordered people to cry and you see the tears for say
[43:47]Shuada.
[43:48]Wherever you go today, in whichever language, Arabic, Ordoor, Farsy, Turkish, English,
[43:55]all of the languages in the world, you see people crying when
[44:00]they hear about Shuada.
[44:02]Number three, Hamza was killed for what?
[44:04]10 dinar.
[44:05]Hussein bin Ali was killed for what?
[44:07]The land of Ray.
[44:10]At the end, did it benefit either of them?
[44:13]Omar bin?
[44:15]It didn't benefit them in any way.
[44:15]Fourthly, but they had something else in similarity with each other.
[44:21]What was it?
[44:21]Their bodies were ripped into pieces.
[44:24]Their bodies were ripped into pieces.
[44:26]Yes.
[44:29]Why do you think always they say we are the sons of
[44:39]who?
[44:36]From us is the Allah.
[44:40]From us is the lion of Allah, the lion of his prophet.
[44:43]From us is why did BB why did Im say that to
[44:50]Yazid to remind him listen if you try and delete our merits
[44:52]we are proud we are of Hamza and we are of Jaffar.
[44:57]and you behead Hussein and you think that scares us.
[44:59]We know you come from a grandma who used to chew the
[45:03]liver of the noble and was born from the flesh of the
[45:08]martyrs.
[45:06]You'd think you'd think that Allah sallallahu alaihi when he sees Hamza's
[45:11]body ripped into pieces that broke him until came to Allah and
[45:18]told him that that liver was ripped into pieces.
[45:23]your Hussein's whole body was is going to be ripped into pieces.
[45:27]You know Hamza they open this area and they ripped it open
[45:30]and they left Im Hussein they did not leave a part of
[45:37]his body without stabbing it.
[45:37]He is say the but this man is the master of all
[45:45]marts because what this man faced nobody else there is no day
[45:52]like your day abdah what they did to the body of Abdullah
[45:56]you know I always tell people when they tell me they call
[45:59]me and they say to me saidar my father passed away and
[46:04]they said to me I'm really broken and we're trying to get
[46:06]the paperwork done for the janaz that as soon as we can
[46:09]say but it's not it's not happening it's not coming quickly what
[46:13]do you advise and I say to them did he die peacefully
[46:16]in his bed said yes I said okay okay and um how
[46:23]long will it be do you think before you bury him said
[46:26]you know max it might take two days but we wish it
[46:31]could be today I said okay was he thirsty when he died
[46:32]was he okay said no no alhamdulillah he's he was we had
[46:38]family around Say okay that family and family meant that he didn't
[46:42]die alone said yes and you already to wash him and and
[46:45]bury his body said alhamdulillah the brothers the sisters high automatically at
[46:51]that moment I say subhan allah there is none like IM Hussein
[46:54]your father died peacefully but you still have his head connected to
[47:01]his body and they'll say yes alhamdulillah the head's connected to were
[47:05]you able to turn the head to the cheek or no because
[47:07]that's what you're meant to do when you do uh and say
[47:10]yes we turn the head to the cheek.
[47:13]If any of you lose your fathers I want you while you're
[47:17]burying your father I want you to think of Hussein bin Ali
[47:21]because while your father was buried quickly the son of Fat Zah's
[47:25]body lay on the earth of Kabella for three nights with no
[47:32]one to bury his body.
[47:32]Yes.
[47:33]A piece here, a piece there, a piece everywhere.
[47:38]Yes.
[47:38]And where were the rest of the family?
[47:42]You'd think that we've all had janaz and family members and community.
[47:46]His family are prisoners in sha and kufa at this moment.
[47:51]Yes.
[47:52]But Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala part of the honors that he gives
[47:56]the imams is that he allows them to be buried by the
[48:02]imam after them.
[48:00]Yes.
[48:01]Therefore in a Allah allowed to return to on a night like
[48:11]this on a night like this.
[48:13]What was it?
[48:16]It was bodies all over the earth.
[48:19]Allah bodies by theat bodies on the general plane of carabal.
[48:22]And it was just bodies.
[48:25]Some had heads, some had no heads.
[48:28]Some had arms.
[48:31]One had no arm.
[48:30]These bodies all lay there on the earth of Kabala.
[48:35]What happened my dear brother and sisters?
[48:37]Bennad, one of the tribes, they came to Karabala.
[48:40]They came, they wanted to bury the bodies.
[48:41]They were walking around looking.
[48:45]Oh my god.
[48:45]What's happened here?
[48:46]Why is there a body here?
[48:49]Why is this one got so many holes?
[48:52]Where's the fingers of this man who was here?
[48:55]Yes.
[48:54]But they were wondering whose body belongs to whom.
[48:58]All of a sudden from the distance they saw a man walking
[49:03]to Caribella.
[49:04]When they saw that man they said hide, hide quickly.
[49:08]It might be one of Iben Ziad's men.
[49:11]So at that moment what happened?
[49:14]They all went and they hid until the man got closer to
[49:20]them.
[49:21]He looked towards them.
[49:22]He said, "Do not be scared.
[49:22]Come near me." So they came near him.
[49:26]When they came near him, my dear brothers and sisters, the moment
[49:32]they came near him, he said, "What are you doing here?" They
[49:37]said, "We've come here to look at the bodies." He said, "No,
[49:39]tell me, what are you doing here?" And they said to him,
[49:42]"We've come to bury the body of Abdullah and the companions of
[49:49]Im." He looked at them, he said, "So, why haven't you finished
[49:53]the job?" They said to him, "We don't know which body belongs
[49:56]to whom." Yes, there are arrows all over these bodies.
[50:02]Some bodies have no heads and others have no arms with them.
[50:08]So he said to them, "Then I'll help you bury these bodies."
[50:11]They were wondering, "Who is this man who knows how to bury
[50:17]these bodies?" So he said to them, I want you first to
[50:20]take the go and make a hole.
[50:25]How many?
[50:24]He said, go and make three different holes in the earth of
[50:30]Kabella.
[50:30]They went they made three different holes in the earth of Kabella.
[50:34]He said to them, "As for the first hole, bury mother in
[50:40]that grave." When you go to Kabala today, you'll see that Habib
[50:46]has his own grave.
[50:46]Allah only knows how special Khabib was that he has his own
[50:55]grave in Kbalah.
[50:54]They went they put Habib in that grave.
[50:57]Then he said as for the second grave buried the rest of
[51:02]the companions of Abdah.
[51:04]They took they buried them in the second grave.
[51:10]Then at that moment he said to them, "As for the third
[51:16]grave, take the family members of my father to that grave." Remember
[51:22]they took the bodies, but many of these bodies had no head.
[51:29]Yes.
[51:29]But he pointed to them.
[51:31]That's Akbar.
[51:34]That's a six-month-old who died.
[51:36]Those are brothers.
[51:36]They took all those bodies.
[51:38]They placed them in the third grave.
[51:41]Then he looked at them and he said, "Now I'm going to
[51:45]walk towards a body that only I and the angels can bury."
[51:50]All of you know where we're heading.
[51:56]He began the walk towards the holy body of the first time
[52:02]since Shimmer came to that body.
[52:04]When he got closer to the body, he noticed the pieces of
[52:09]the body of everywhere.
[52:12]Imagine that seed if you're a son and your father's body is
[52:18]everywhere.
[52:19]When he got closer, he then said to them, "Give me a
[52:21]prayer matter." They were wondering why does he want to pray salah?
[52:24]No.
[52:25]So I may gather the pieces of my father's body together.
[52:34]Imagine the sin for when he gathered the pieces of the body
[52:40]of and he placed them on the earth of he buried his
[52:47]father.
[52:48]The dust ofah was all over his face.
[52:52]Yes.
[53:00]This is the body of Hussein Ali.
[53:05]Uh this is the grave of Hussein Ali.
[53:08]He was killed, a stranger who was thirsty.
[53:12]Uh then some of them turned to Immed.
[53:13]They said to him, "Oh man, you buried all the bodies." He
[53:17]said, "Yes." They said, "But there's one body by the Farad." Imagine
[53:22]that scene.
[53:23]There's one body by the Euphrates.
[53:26]When we lift the right side, the left falls on the ground.
[53:31]When we lift the left side, the right falls on the ground.
[53:34]At that moment, he called out.
[53:39]He began the walk towards the body of he got the pieces
[53:47]of the body and he buried him on the earth.
[53:51]Of course, when he buried everybody, these bodies were there.
[53:54]But the heads where were they?
[53:58]in kufa on spears.
[53:58]Yes, the heads were in kufa on spears.
[54:02]Then the heads were taken to sham.
[54:05]Only when they were allowed to return to carbala was he allowed
[54:12]to place his father's head back to the body.
[54:16]Only an imam is able to do that to another imam.
[54:22]He opened a part of the grave in Kabella and he placed
[54:25]the head back with the body.
[54:27]The moment he did this, heard the voice from the mouth of
[54:32]Imis.
[54:33]What did he say?
[54:38]The baby, the baby, place the baby on my chest.
[54:43]Allah, the sixmonth-old, look how close he is to his father.
[54:47]The baby.
[54:49]The baby.
[54:51]Place the baby on my chest and his neck.
[54:56]Place his neck.
[54:54]On my neck.
[54:57]Don't you know?
[54:57]Don't you know, my son?
