توكلنه يبو اليمه بسم الله يالخدمه
O’ Hussain, by the name of Allah, we shall begin our service
نعمه حسين بالدنيا الله يخلي هالنعمه
Hussain is a blessing in life, may Allah prolong this blessing
يما رديت سلابك من ايسلب اثيابك
You did not reject the one who looted you
معقول ترد خادم يلطم كل سنه بابك
How would you return a servant who annually beats his chest for you
اخدمك حاجتي واذوب بخدمتي
My need is to serve you, I melt in my service
اموت بلا بجي اعيش بدمعتي
I’d die without weeping as I live through my tear
احبك بالزغر واحبك بالكُبر
I loved you since childhood and I’ll love you when I age
واحبك بالقبر واحبك بالحشر
I’ll love you in my grave and the hereafter
يالمضوي السمه يدمعة فاطمه
You luminate the sun, you’re the tear of Fatima
يمذبوح الضمه بحبك اضل ضامي
You were slaughtered in thirst, and I shall remain thirsty in your love

اجيك وارجع بحبك لون ميت عله دربك
I come and go in your love, I wish I’d die upon it
بلا جفين ابو فاضل لكن يعرف يكتبك
Abbas’ palms were severed yet he knew how to write you
حب تتلامع عيوني والعشاگ حسدوني
My eyes glimmer in love and the lovers envied me
شلونك من يسالوني انه كربله لوني
When they ask of my state, I answer “Karbala is my state”
ابوي وسيدي يموتي ومولدي
You’re my father and master, my death and birth
بعزائك انتهي بعزائك ابتدي
I begin and end in your memorials
الك بس الكفو منو مثلك منو
Only you are great, you are unparalleled
اشوفك بالشدد ابو ونعم الابو
I see you in hardships, as a great father
يحلمي وواقعي تصوغك ادمعي
You’re my dream and reality, you are embraced by my tears
قريتك بالنعي يا حسرة ايامي
I orated upon you O’ sorrow of my days

يحب من اول اقرايه احبك گلب واحجايه
O’ love from the first oration, I genuinely love you
اريدن بربعينيتك اجيك وشايل الرايه
In your Arbaeen, I want to come to you carrying a flag
تظل الخدمه موضوعي وچادر انصب اضلوعي
The service remains my concern, my chest is devoted to mourn you
اقبّل شارع القبله وتضل تحجيلك دموعي
I kiss the street of your shrine and my tears speak to you
واصيحن يا هلا يزاير كربله
I cry “Welcome! O’ visitors of Karbala”
اوزع بالدرب دمعتي الهامله
I distribute my flowing tears in the path to your shrine
واضل عام انتظر شهر حزنك يمر
I waited for a year and then the month of your sorrow passed
واكولن قصرت واجي ليك اعتذر
I’d recognize my shortcomings and come to apologize to you
صرت انت الاهل بحياتي مستهل
You’ve become my family and the opening line of my life
يعشك بلا زعل يا خاطر اقلامي
You’re my divine love and my master
