على جرح طفوفك كل حروفك سلام سلام

على نبرة نوحك حسرة روحك سلام سلام
Greetings to your wails and sorrow

ابمشايتك امشي لو بس اجي بنعشي
I march with your pilgrims, even if I was in my coffin
انعاك ... انساك ... هيهات ... هيهات
I’d lament you and I shall never forget you
بكل اربعين الگاك واگف تحيي الجاك
I find you in every Arbaeen, greeting your visitors
عبرات و اهات ... اصوات ... أصوات
Echoing voices of wails and weeps

شايل حزنك بالمشاعر يحسين
Hussain, I carry your sorrow in my heart
اسمع صوتك عالمنابر يحسين
Hussain, I hear your voice from the pulpits
شفتك عايش بالحوافر
You triumphed through being trampled by hooves
والشاهد ثورتك مآتم
The proof is your revolution in these memorials
صيحة حب تجري بالعوالم يا حبيبي
A cry of love echoes in the universe O’ beloved

انا الدربك عفت كل شي و اجيتك عالوعد
I’ve abandoned everything for your path, I’ve come to you
مثل زينب الك امشي و ردت منها المدد
Like Zainab, I march, and I have asked for her aid
دوه كل جروحي. و عگبك روحي. حرام...حرام
You’re the cure of my wounds, my life is worthless without you
على نبرة نوحك ... حسرة روحك... سلام سلام

بقرايتك ابدي و راعي العزه المهدي
I begin with lamenting you, condoling AlMahdi
ينعيك. يبجيك و ادموم دمعه
Who mourns you and sheds tears of blood for you
بكل مجلس اتصور يقره على المنبر
In every memorial, I envision him reciting on the pulpit
مكسور و تفور جمرات ضلعه
Devastated with an engulfed heart

صاير يخدم بالمواكب يحسين
Hussain, I envision AlMahdi serving in processions
يندب اسمك گلبه ذايب يحسين
Hussain, he laments you with a withered heart
تعيش بروحه هالمصايب
These calamities live within his soul

بالمجلس واگف اعلى بابك
He stands by the door of the memorial
يمسح دمع البچه المصابك يا حبيبي
Wiping the tears of those who wept upon you O’ beloved

و انا ادري الحجه يوميه الك يبچي بدمه
I know that AlMahdi daily weeps upon you with tears of blood
إذًا كل عمري اون لجلك يبن حامي الحمه
Like him, I shall spend my life lamenting you O’ son of Ali
انا ترسم عيني كل سنيني كلام كلام
My eyes envision these words across my life
على نبرة نوحك حسرة روحك سلام سلام
Greetings to your wails and sorrow

یا ملجأِ العالم ، يا أحسنِ الأحوال
O’ refuge of the world, O’ essence of welfare
بالروح بالدم نفدیک یاحسین
With our souls and blood, we shall be sacrificed for you O’ Hussain
أفضل لحظة ، اكون في المشاية
My finest moment is when I march with the pilgrims
مع كفّية لبیک یاحسین
While chanting “I adhere to you Hussain”


و بخدمتك في سلامٍ یاحسین
Serving you in peace O’ Hussain
انت سَنَدي في يوم الحشر یاحسین
You’re my aid in the hereafter O’ Hussain
بس أنت ملجأي
You are my refuge

اتيت لتاخذ بيدي
I’ve come so that you take my palm
مولایی و نعم الامیری
You are my master, a great master indeed
مولاي و نعم الامیري
You are my master, a great master indeed
یا حبیبی
My Beloved

عشقك يِنْـبُـض دائماً في صدري
Your love beats within my heart
كِـل حياتي فدوه لك يا روحي
My life shall be sacrificed for your sake

عليك يا جبل النور و رأس المستور السلام السلام
O’ mountain of light, and beheaded master, I bid greatings to you
عليك من البعيد يا وتر الموتور السلام السلام
From a distant land, I bid greetings to my slaughtered Imam
