Invalidating the Fast: Eating and Drinking
Eating breaks the fast, even swallowing leftover food in the mouth or eating inedible objects (like dust or stone) invalidates the fast. Drinking also invalidates the fast, even if it’s a drop of water that gets dissolved in the mouth and you swallow it. That invalidates the fast.
