For us to grow as Muslims in our character we should look no further then our Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings upon him and his progeny). There is none like him and it is important that we learn more about him to understand what kind of example he is for ourselves.

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْرِي نَفْسَهُ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ رَءُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ {207}

And among men is he who sells himself to seek the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is affectionate to the servants. (2:207)

وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَي إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبّـِكَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيراً
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَي اللَّهِ وَكَفَي بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلا
2. “And follow what is revealed to you from your Lord; verily Allah is aware of what you do.”
3. “And rely on Allah, and Allah is sufficient as a Protector.”
