Hadith al-Qudsi - Sayed Ahmad al-Mousawi [ENG and Urdu Translation]
An emotional Hadith al-Qudsi in which reminds us, the children of Adam of bounties in which Allah SWT has generously granted us throughout our lives and yet, we have returned to Him our sins and our disobedience.
Translation correction:
I provided you a pillow (comfort) for you on *right side
and a pillow on the *left side too
because the liver was on the *right side (of the womb)
and a pancreas on the *left side
In Dua Abu Hamza Thumali, Imam Zain al-Abideen( AS) says:
Our sins are before You;
we beseech You, O Allah, to forgive them and we repent before You.
Whilst You show affection to us through Your graces, we take ourselves away from You through our sins.
You good descend upon us while our evildoing ascends to You.
Although that a noble angel always carries to You our offensive deeds,
this has never made you stop encompassing us with Your graces and conferring upon us your elegances.
Glory be to You! How Forbearing, Magnificent, and Generous You are at all times!
Salawat of Shabaniyah recited by brother Murtada Qurish with subtitles
The famous supplication of Salawat Sha’baniyyah is one of the most beautiful and valuable prayers which has been gifted to us by the mercy of the Almighty Allah (SWT) in the holy month of Sha’ban and was taught by Imam Zainul ‘Abideen (A.S).
It is also sometimes referred to as Dua Shajarat Al Nubuwwah (Supplication of the Tree of Prophethood) since the supplication commences with these profound words. It is reported through authentic sources that Imam Zainul ‘Abideen (AS) used to recite this supplication every day in Sha`ban at the time sun passes the merdian (Waqt az-Zawal) and on the night of 15th Sha’ban. (ref: Commentary on the Supplication of Salawat Sha’baniyyah by Jerrmein Abu Shahba)
In the words of Sheikh Toosi,
"کان علي بن الحسين عليه السلام يدعو عند کل زوال من ايام شعبان وفي ليله النصف منه ويصلي علي النبي صلي الله عليه واله بهذه الصلوات"
“In the month of Sha'baan, Ali Ibn Al-Hussain, Zain Al-Abideen would read this supplication every noon and on the fifteenth night (and in the whole month) he sent Salawat in the form of this Salawat.”

In this short excerpt from the lecture, brother Mohammed highlights the importance of Taqwa, God-consciousness by referring to the Hadith of Imam Ali, (Hadith 130) found in Part 2 of Nahjul Balagha.
15th Sha'baan & Imam Mahdi (A.S) - Sheikh Khalil Jaffer [ENG SUBS]
Fifteenth of Sha'baan is the day, which reminds us of Imam Mahdi (A.S). This is the day, when the last emissary of divine guidance arrived into this world in order to color the world with divine hue. The conditions, in which the occultation of the Imam began, those same conditions are present even today. Whereas loyalists of the Imams, though they believe in the occultation of their Imam (a.s.), are not found prepared to break the strong rope of occultation. Though they pray for early reappearance of Imam Zamana (A.S), but do not illuminate the dark night of occultation through the light of their acts. Though they call their Imam: "Please hasten! Please hasten!"... Yet they show sloth in making the revolution of Imam Mahdi (A.S) successful. Though they call Imam Mahdi (A.S) for help, but are not prepared for helping Imam (a.s.). That is why the divine scholar, Allamah Hilli said: "Occultation is neither from Almighty Allah nor from Imam Mahdi (A.S). On the contrary, we are the real cause of occultation."

Z Hussain beautifully writes (The Muslim Vibe)
'When it comes to shedding tears, the greatest spiritual act through this means comes from weeping for the tragedies of the Ahlulbayt but in particular for Imam Hussain . There is no doubt about this. Crying for the tragedy of Karbala is a natural reaction to someone who has a heart that is alive. That said, English historian, Edward Gibbon makes a bold claim and says the story of Imam Hussain “will awaken the sympathy of the coldest reader.”
Even those whose hearts are hard, therefore, can be resurrected by connecting to Karbala. The resurrection of the heart and purification of the soul through shedding tears for the Master of Martyrs can only be a beneficial thing since it opens the door to crying for other matters in front of God.' In English and Urdu Translation
The Whispered Prayers, is a collection of 15 intimate conversations with Allah SWT and the 15 Whispered Prayers are extracted from the book of Imam Zainul Abideen A.S - known as Sahifa Sajjadiya, also known famously as the Psalms of Islam.
Munajaat means "talking" or "having a conversation". In this case, it is the intimate conversations of our Imam with his Lord. Conversing with God regularly is true spirituality, and these conversations between Imam Sajjad (as) and God will really open our eyes. Again, there are conversations for different spiritual states, such as being fearful, hopeful and thankful. Conversing with Allah according to our current spiritual state will only serve to enhance our relationship with him. (al-islam.org)
The prayers start with 'repentance', as repentance is the first step towards a genuine communion with God.

Over here, Imam (a.t.f.s.) has been addressed with the renowned title that finds a mention in the Holy Qur'an. “Surely the remnant (representative) of Allah is good for you if you are believers.” (Surah Hud - Verse 86)
The word بقية has several meanings. However, for clarity, we have delved only on one meaning which is relevant to our discussion over here.
i.e. some of it’s part is left.
This means that Imam-e-Asr (a.t.f.s.) is the last link preserved by Allah in His chain of Prophets (a.s.) and their successors (a.s.) sent for mankind’s guidance.
This is also the meaning used in Ziyarat and supplications such as in Ziyarat e Aal Yasin:
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَقِيَّةَ اللّٰهِ فِيْ اَرْضِهِ
‘Salutation upon the Remnant of Allah, from His Friends and His Proofs.’
was the title of even the previous Imams (a.s.). However, it is used more specifically for Imam-e-Asr (a.t.f.s.). The following tradition underscores this fact.
A denier of the Holy Quran approached Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) and asked him, ‘I have read in the Quran, ‘the Remnant of Allah is better for you.’ Who is this Remnant of Allah?
Imam (a.s.) informed, ‘This refers to the Mahdi, who shall reappear after a period of intense examination. He shall then fill the earth with justice and equity as it would have been
filled with tyranny and injustice. Among his signs are occultation and a concealed lifestyle. At that time, rebellion and upheavals will be common and the fire of vengeance will be stoking strongly among the people. (Behaarul Anwaar vol. 93, p. 115.)
When Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) introduced Ahmed b. Ishaaq (r.a.) to Imam-e-Zamana (a.t.f.s.) while he was still an infant, Imam (a.t.f.s.) declared to Ahmed b. Ishaaq (r.a.):
‘I am the Remnant of Allah on His earth.’
This is the very statement that Imam (a.t.f.s.) shall proclaim on his reappearance. Imam (a.t.f.s.) shall be sighted first in the precincts of the Holy Kabaa where while leaning against the sacred monument. Kabaa, he shall recite the above statement. (source: Ziyarat Aal-e-Yasin: A Brief Commentary)
Ahmad b. Muhammad Ardabeli is popularly known as Muqaddas Ardabeli was proverbial for his piety and austerity. He is also well known for his extensive research in Shia Fiqh. He lived in Najaf, during the Safavid rule in Iran.
Muqaddas Ardabili was one of the greatest Shiite Muslim scholars of the tenth century AH. As a prominent jurist and especially due to possessing a high level of morality and spirituality, he was admired and praised by scholars.
In this video, Sheikh Shabbar Mahdi outlines the piety of this great individual, explaining the importance of adhering to the rights of others and if a person is given position in society and power over people he has an Amanah (Trust) that he has to take care of the rights of those people who are within the community (of the person who has the special position in society).
