[10:14]allah subhanaw taala states in holy quran and what he says is
[10:18]the truth in the chapter of al baqara vs.
[10:20]155 - 157 Allah says when an affluent accomplished a in Manado
[10:25]fee well Giuliana criminal and wali well unfussy with samara to assure

[10:34]ilayhi roger own hola Akali him salawatu mubarak muhammadun allah subhanaw taala
[10:42]says in these beautiful verses he says i surely we will try
[10:49]them mankind with some fear with some hunger with deficiency in their
[10:53]wealth and deficiency in their health and deficiency in their sustenance and
[11:00]their glad tidings to those who are patient those who when afflicted
[11:05]by a calamity they say surely we are from allah and to
[11:09]he we shall return those are the ones that are praised by
[11:16]allah almighty and those are the ones upon which Allah Allah bestows
[11:20]his mercy and those are the ones that Allah will label as
[11:25]the righteously guided sort of Allah Allahu Alem I'm Anabella brothers and
[11:29]sisters assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh in the last few nights we've learned a
[11:39]great deal about ourselves a great deal about this life a great
[11:44]deal about our creator himself we learned how to set goals and
[11:49]we learned how to have self-awareness and how far that can take
[11:53]us we learned how to speak to ourselves to our hearts with
[11:55]positive self-talk so that we can be proactive and take initiative to
[12:01]instill change within ourselves and that that change if we are able
[12:04]to make within ourselves then for sure that will also help us
[12:07]make change in others we learned how to speak to others so
[12:12]that we can be a positive element of change in their lives
[12:15]too by treating others well surely allah subhanaw taala will allow us
[12:21]to create a better society a better community we also learned how
[12:26]to speak to our lord to allah almighty and by doing so
[12:32]we started the conversation an important conversation a conversation that's way past
[12:36]you one that we have to start in this month in these
[12:40]nights so that we can come to a closer understanding of Allah
[12:43]Almighty and so that he knows that we have not forgotten him
[12:48]that we are not of those who are heedless that we are
[12:50]of those who seek his pleasure who show him gratitude who always
[12:57]connect with him and don't forget him so that he doesn't forget
[12:59]us on the day of judgement we went through the rights of
[13:04]certain faculties that allah subhanaw taala had given us or has given
[13:10]us after making the logical deduction that everything that allah has given
[13:15]us from all of our faculties surely were given to us for
[13:18]no other purpose than to be used in gratitude and thanks to
[13:23]him and him alone what I wanted to talk about today is
[13:27]I wanted to answer the question why is life a struggle now
[13:33]we covered obviously the right of the greatest right of Allah Almighty
[13:37]we covered of course the right of the self we covered the
[13:43]right of the tongue and the right of the hearing and the
[13:50]right of the eyesight if you recall today our goal is to
[13:54]practically apply what we learned we did the same thing after we
[13:57]learned the right of the tongue we practically applied and we had
[14:04]a game plan in terms of what we need to do if
[14:06]you recall we talked to a line we said that after every
[14:11]prayer after the morning prayer after the lauren hassle prayer after the
[14:15]metal Benicia prayer we would do that doraville imam ja'far assad of
[14:19]salam ala ali out of curiosity how many people have continued to
[14:23]do it very good not bad so we want more numbers to
[14:25]do it every day right so what are you going to do
[14:29]you're going to say yeah up brbr up we oughta be onto
[14:34]what happens so you're out of breath and then what do you
[14:36]do what do you ask allah for protection from sin with which
[14:43]name do I ask him yeah awesome very good and then what
[14:48]else for a lot amend us exactly and with which name do
[14:54]I call upon him so that he mends me yeah mostly a
[14:59]centum good today our goal is to understand how it is that
[15:03]we can practically deal with the challenges that allah subhanaw taala has
[15:07]given us because we know for a fact we proved it by
[15:12]logical necessity that allah almighty has to give us challenges in order
[15:16]for us to prove to him that we are worthy of the
[15:22]challenge of this earth right to prove to him how much gratitude
[15:26]we have you see if we're not tested then how do we
[15:34]know how do we know ourselves how dedicated we are to Allah
[15:39]Almighty how do we know make sense I want you to think
[15:45]about that so what I'd like to do first and foremost is
[15:48]I'd like to go through the logical necessity for us to go
[15:52]through struggle we'll work that out together the next thing that I
[15:55]want to do is I want to go through the academic understanding
[15:59]of struggle and lastly I want to see what the Quran says
[16:02]to us and then we'll see if we can practically apply the
[16:10]star daily lives so logically speaking after proving time after time and
[16:15]taking it as a reference point that Allah Almighty is the one
[16:20]who created us that we couldn't have created ourselves that a creator
[16:23]is not limited by his creations and therefore the creator of the
[16:27]unlimited of the limited world must be unlimited acento and therefore since
[16:33]he is unlimited that means is all purposeful that means when he
[16:38]created me he created me for a purpose and I know that
[16:40]the greatest purpose for which he created me is to thank him
[16:46]until him gratitude why because I know that for a fact that
[16:49]when I'm with my parents I feel an obligation to be obedient
[16:54]to them to please them and the reason why is because they
[16:56]have a right upon me and that is that they brought me
[17:00]to this world they sheltered me they fed me right they guided
[17:03]me and I know by priority he who gave me my parents
[17:07]and their parents and all of the blessings in this universe has
[17:10]the greatest right upon me and that is to show him gratitude
[17:13]and thanks through obedience and that that would be the greatest form
[17:16]of worship and that that worship first and foremost would have to
[17:23]be to use his flock his ethical system his code of conduct
[17:26]how he treats others those who he deemed worthy of existing and
[17:32]that I should treat them just as he treats them and so
[17:36]by logical necessity if I determine that all existence have Worth and
[17:41]Allah gives them opportunity than I by priority must also give them
[17:47]the same type of opportunity that Allah gives them Allah gives them
[17:52]breath Allah allows them to talk I allow them to talk I
[17:54]give them an opportunity to give their opinion and I respect their
[17:59]opinion though I may disagree just like Allah Almighty may disagree with
[18:03]their opinion but he still lets them think and express themselves and
[18:12]I realize that each individual in this world must have challenges of
[18:17]their lives and the reason why they must have these challenges is
[18:20]so that they can show their level of gratitude to Allah and
[18:25]that each one of us when we have challenges our challenges are
[18:31]unique to us you're not gonna find many people who are standing
[18:44]at the podium and their challenge comes right to their podium see
[18:50]how a lot challenges us he challenges us in our patience to
[19:02]see how we're going to treat each other to see are we
[19:06]aware of his presence among us or no because if I know
[19:11]that Allah is present among us then I will appreciate everybody and
[19:17]enjoy their presence in my life even when they don't understand their
[19:25]own importance or my own importance right and what that does is
[19:35]that gives me this bird's-eye view of life it makes me have
[19:40]a different understanding of all the challenges that come in my way
[19:48]it makes me it makes me see that every person that comes
[19:51]in my life will bring something new to me and I know
[19:56]that if it comes from Allah Almighty and it is of his
[19:59]creations and he is indeed all perfect then there is no way
[20:07]that it could be bad for me to go through there's absolutely
[20:11]no way I also know that since everything in this world is
[20:15]limited then that means it has a beginning and an end and
[20:21]if it has a beginning and an end then that means that
[20:23]I should not look within that struggle I should look beyond the
[20:28]struggle if today my age is 13 years old then in a
[20:38]year I will be 14 and that age will end and the
[20:42]struggles within that age will end and the pain you feel within
[20:45]that struggle will end why because the nature of being limited is
[20:50]that you have a beginning and an end right Hasson which means
[21:00]now that my view of my struggles becomes a realistic one it's
[21:05]no longer one that is rooted in illusion thinking that just as
[21:18]my imagination goes wild I think that I'm never going to get
[21:22]out of the struggle how is the pain ever going to pass
[21:28]and why me and not to anyone else why this struggle and
[21:32]no other the answer becomes simple why this struggle because Allah chose
[21:39]it for it for you because you're worthy of the struggle because
[21:45]you will become stronger after the struggle passes when I play a
[21:52]video game what happens I move from level to level but I
[21:56]don't move to the next level until I have perfected the first
[21:58]level right and I don't move out of the second level until
[22:04]I've perfected the second level and I don't move to the third
[22:06]unless I protect it I've completed and perfected the second level right
[22:10]or the third level and the fourth level and so forth life
[22:17]isn't any different it's not different at all life is exactly like
[22:24]that Xbox or Playstation game that you play and life also has
[22:29]cheat codes it's got a half cheat codes I know because if
[22:33]a human being is going to create a cheat code for a
[22:35]game then you better believe that God by priority who gave him
[22:39]the ability to think that way will also give him a key
[22:41]that will open a door into a higher level if he takes
[22:47]the time to find it and ask for it it just makes
[22:54]logical sense one of the simplest cheat codes that I can tell
[23:00]you we can prove logically and simply is drop once we uncover
[23:10]the reality that there is a creator and that he is unlimited
[23:15]automatically what happens also magically what happens is this is I look
[23:23]towards the heavens I don't look down to the ground for some
[23:28]reason I look towards them is why it's just something that's innate
[23:32]and all of us and what happens I say what is my
[23:39]purpose what's the draw it's a request what did we say the
[23:42]other day a request happens from whom to whom for it for
[23:48]it to be a draw from lower to higher exactly and if
[23:52]it's a command then it's from someone who is higher to someone
[23:55]who is lower and if it's our idea which means just a
[24:04]simple request that you hope that you hope will be responded to
[24:08]the two people are at an equal level right but what I
[24:14]do is automatically I realized that he is unlimited that I know
[24:18]I'm limited so what happens a request that request must be by
[24:23]default outdoor hands down and since the sadhana I know for a
[24:33]fact that because I discovered this reality that I will be rewarded
[24:38]right away especially if I ask for guidance I say what do
[24:40]you want from me that's the guidance I'm asking for guidance right
[24:43]once I do that I know I have opened the door and
[24:52]I feel it because my intellect opens up to and I start
[24:57]seeing things with a different mindset I start looking for the good
[25:07]as opposed to focusing on the bad I become more optimistic as
[25:13]opposed to being pessimistic instead of looking at job as a challenge
[25:20]I look at her job as what as a blessing and that's
[25:28]a challenge in itself instead of looking at my relationship with my
[25:32]dad as one that stuff and I could never please him what
[25:35]happens I become thankful for that sort of relationship and instead of
[25:42]standing I - I challenging him I fall down and kiss his
[25:51]hands and his feet and thank Allah that he brought me to
[25:56]this world to have this man raise me and guide me and
[25:59]care so much that he argues with me and tells me you
[26:04]don't understand son you're still too young how blessed am i to
[26:08]have a father that cares so much about me your mindset changes
[26:16]your perception changes you see everything with a different eye you see
[26:27]everything first and foremost before it you see the unlimited after it
[26:31]you see the unlimited next to it you see the unlimited on
[26:35]the other side you see the unlimited everything about your view of
[26:41]life changes it all becomes about and central centered around the creator
[26:48]himself it's amazing so then what happens is now since my perception
[27:00]changes what happens I say why is it that luck testing me
[27:04]if I'm not tested now I'm going to start questioning my relationship
[27:12]with Allah Allah am I not good enough why are the tests
[27:18]so easy Allah am i not strong enough now you start wondering
[27:24]why you're not being tested think about that motto it's a very
[27:37]very deep thought very very deep level of thinking you end up
[27:47]longing for the test feeling hurt that you haven't been tested well
[27:52]enough and now when you look at other people as they go
[27:59]through their challenges instead of saying you Haram what do you say
[28:04]say Allah what level of faith does this person have what worth
[28:09]do they have to allow that Allah puts them through such a
[28:16]test and that then becomes motivation for me to try to be
[28:20]involved in their struggle so that I can help them somehow so
[28:26]that I can share in the table in the nearness to Allah
[28:29]Almighty look at how the perception changes did you ever think of
[28:43]things that way what can you do you see it not yet
[28:46]it's tough it's tough to look at a struggle look at an
[28:52]illness and say I'm the love she could it's not me come
[28:55]to love ship it's someone else right that's easy to say right
[29:02]something that wasn't me but then when you go through the sickness
[29:09]and you surpass it do you come out stronger or no even
[29:17]biologically speaking your system your immune system becomes stronger right the Tejeda
[29:22]right your immunity becomes stronger growing up as we're exposed to different
[29:30]viruses and bacteria what happens our immunity grows stronger if we look
[29:37]within ourselves we will find the answers Allah created the system to
[29:44]almost match the physical system if we only take the time to
[29:53]look and learn so what do the academics tell us Sal Allah
[29:58]Mohammed Ali Mohammed so I'm going to cite three works here so
[30:11]for those who want to take down the names of these books
[30:15]you got your phones out I'm gonna take down the names to
[30:24]these books the names of these books okay so one it's called
[30:27]presence that's number one that's one of the books are reference the
[30:33]other one is called the upside of stress and the last one
[30:37]is called mindset Amy Cuddy is the author of the first book
[30:48]presence Carol Dueck is the author of mindset Kelly McGonigal is the
[31:02]author of the upside of stress let's look at presents first in
[31:15]her fifth chapter Amy Cuddy says that studies done in the university
[31:23]of st.
[31:20]Louis show that when a group was primed before entering a test
[31:29]primed as in someone sat down with them explain to them the
[31:33]importance of the test their goal was to stress them out as
[31:38]much as possible and then when they went into the exam the
[31:41]invigilator x' their role was to be right over their heads so
[31:46]if they're slow you know they'd be right over their head sink
[31:51]come on clock is ticking clock is ticking stress them out stress
[31:54]them out as much as possible the other group there was no
[32:00]one there priming them no one primed them no one did that
[32:02]to them they just went into the test now what's interesting is
[32:08]that the results of this research shows that in these two groups
[32:13]those who were primed meaning stressed in the test most of them
[32:18]failed while those who weren't primed some of them failed and some
[32:26]of them didn't and there was a third group that third group
[32:29]was also primed but in a different way they were told listen
[32:33]life is a test this is a test you're going to get
[32:37]over it it's a limited period of time it'll start it'll end
[32:39]don't worry about it if you don't get the answer to one
[32:43]question move on to the next one and so forth until you're
[32:45]able to get the answer or remember the answer then go back
[32:50]to the question that you don't know okay that third group all
[32:53]of them passed every single one of them asked why those who
[33:01]are stressed not the control group those who are stressed when asked
[33:06]why is it that you failed they said you know what when
[33:11]I couldn't get one question I just ended up just thinking about
[33:13]it over and over and over again and it just it kind
[33:17]of paralyzed me I couldn't move on to the next question right
[33:21]the next thing I knew that time was up when the third
[33:28]group was asked what did they say they said well it was
[33:31]easy because they reminded us before the test that you know this
[33:34]test is going to end anyway and life is going to go
[33:37]on so after this if I can't answer this question then I'll
[33:41]just move on to the next one it's not a big deal
[33:41]next thing you know I was done I might have missed a
[33:44]couple of questions but it was neither here nor there I still
[33:47]was able to pass the test okay in another study in her
[33:57]same book in that fifth chapter she cites a study that was
[34:01]done with American students and Japanese students they brought two groups of
[34:07]children okay this was during school time one was in the Japanese
[34:11]school system one was in the American school system in the American
[34:16]school system they were given these puzzles the same puzzles were given
[34:19]to those Japanese students they found that the American students when given
[34:23]the puzzles they gave up very quickly while those who were in
[34:27]the Japanese school system they kept on working and working and working
[34:30]on the puzzles until they were able to solve them and the
[34:35]mindset of each group was different when they were interviewed those kids
[34:38]said you know what is just impossible the American children well the
[34:42]Japanese kids they said this is a challenge they said this is
[34:47]so challenging we want to be able to solve it that even
[34:51]when that time was over they still wanted to work on it
[34:53]while the American kids when the time was up they were so
[34:57]relieved that it was done and over but some of them even
[35:02]said we thought it would never end in her book mindset caroled
[35:12]awake says something really interesting and you might have heard this from
[35:18]me before she speaks about the IQ test she says that originally
[35:23]the IQ test was actually made for the French school system for
[35:27]a curriculum within the French school system she said what ended up
[35:33]happening as it was adopted by the American school system to test
[35:38]students for their aptitude now the problem is testing the students in
[35:43]their academic aptitude was not what this test was made for it
[35:49]was an evaluation to see whether this new curriculum was effective and
[35:52]that the students in France were actually benefitting from it or not
[35:58]unfortunately the IQ system now became basically the hallmark of understanding whether
[36:01]someone is smart or not and we know for a fact that
[36:06]there are people that don't score high in IQs but are very
[36:10]successful business people right we know that so that kind of gives
[36:16]us a hint as to how accurate that system may be it's
[36:19]almost like a caste system that is developed but within the halls
[36:25]of academia right and within families all you know he's not too
[36:28]smart his IQ was very low right we heard this all the
[36:30]time well what did you score on your IQ test oh and
[36:35]they get embarrassed you know I don't know what can I tell
[36:40]you so what she says is she says what we've literally done
[36:44]is we've categorized and classified children in our society as dumb or
[36:52]smart and we've let that carry through their entire academic career oh
[36:58]he's simple he doesn't understand he's not too bright he doesn't get
[37:04]it too quickly we need to spend a little more time why
[37:06]don't I give you a few minutes you need my 10 5
[37:10]15 20 minutes to get it versus someone who maybe as a
[37:12]science major for example in college or an engineering major they're smart
[37:19]they have high IQs and so forth right but usually the richest
[37:21]people in the world don't tend to be engineers doctors if you
[37:25]think about it so now what does she say she says in
[37:31]her book she says that the reality of the matter is that
[37:33]when we do that what we've done is we've created two types
[37:39]of mindsets what they found is that those and you might think
[37:42]that those who are described as being not too smart are the
[37:46]ones that are affected affected negatively most their her studies show that
[37:51]those who are told oh you know you're not that smart what
[37:54]happens to them is they say well you know what if I
[37:59]get it wrong I get it wrong what's the big deal I'll
[38:00]just keep trying but those who are told that they're smart constantly
[38:07]they have a rep to live up to so what happens is
[38:09]that they have a fear of asking questions they have a fear
[38:13]of being wrong they generally have all these fears and phobias related
[38:20]to their academic aptitude while the others they have reckless abandon because
[38:25]they're like you know what if I get it wrong what's the
[38:27]worst that could happen they think I'm dumb anyway right what she
[38:30]also found was that there there's a third group that actually has
[38:39]both mindsets so for example you could be she called him one
[38:41]was called an open mindset one was called the closed mindset a
[38:45]closed mindset is or a fixed mindset it's someone who has a
[38:52]hard time asking questions who fears that their academic status may be
[38:58]affected if they ask a question or answer a question and get
[39:01]it wrong and another sure sign is that if they do answer
[39:05]and they get it wrong they become very defensive and they try
[39:08]to show how much information they know even if it's unrelated to
[39:13]the question I know as I'm saying this you're thinking of people
[39:18]right specifically ourselves I'm when I when I hear that I'm asking
[39:23]myself am I like that right because if I'm like that and
[39:26]I was raised in that type of environment as I'm sure many
[39:31]of you have been right because if this person is smart then
[39:36]he can do no wrong and if he does anything then what
[39:38]happens then it's a social stigma all of a sudden right what
[39:42]are people gonna say about us if you don't go to medical
[39:48]school bupkes sure master dick - holy she could ruin us right
[39:54]small laugh you've been to solid doctora look his daughter became a
[40:02]physician but you vacant what's wrong with you she's me in there
[40:07]and in that's awesome and neck I'm sorry yeah isn't that what
[40:10]we say other people are better than you they're better than us
[40:17]and there's this pressure right it's like a pressure cooker and you
[40:21]find yourself of course your parents don't understand I don't understand why
[40:26]they're so stressed right well maybe because I have the burden of
[40:31]the entire reputation of the family and all of Islam on my
[40:39]shoulders right an entire community so the third mindset is one that's
[40:43]a mixture of both and some things there's a fixed mindset and
[40:47]other things no it's an unfixed mindset it's an open mindset so
[40:52]for example let's say when it comes to studying the person is
[40:58]too proud to ask questions okay but when it comes to poor
[41:01]on for example they're okay to ask their local shaker or their
[41:04]friends that they don't understand this or that or the other but
[41:09]see because they know they don't know so they're okay to learn
[41:12]but because they have a reputation to keep right when it comes
[41:15]to their engineering or science right what happens the chest goes up
[41:24]like this right and they're like you know if I ask what
[41:27]if my question is silly what if they get the wrong impression
[41:33]of me what if what if so you try to like hide
[41:37]you know in the auditorium as your teacher right before they leave
[41:39]as they walk down the hallway where nobody sees them and you're
[41:43]showing yourself like you're mr.
[41:43]cool and then you're you run up to them and you say
[41:48]you know I had a question then your friend passes by and
[41:50]you say to them by the way is it okay to make
[41:54]an appointment with you so that you have your private time with
[41:57]that teacher to ask them all that you would ask that you
[41:59]don't look like an idiot in front of your friends because you're
[42:03]always supposed to have the answer because you're the smart one in
[42:06]the family just so we're not a couple amazed in right now
[42:15]of course she says this is extremely problematic because what happens is
[42:22]that those were the fixed mindset they tend to stop growing they
[42:26]stagnate while those who don't have a fixed mindset those who have
[42:31]an open mindset they tend to actually surpass that group of people
[42:37]at a later age is that interesting one of them so we
[42:44]ask ourselves which one are we are we the mix of two
[42:46]and what we have to do is we have to look at
[42:50]where we are a fixed mindset and break the chains that are
[42:53]holding us within that mindset okay finally Kelly McGonigal in her book
[43:03]the upside of stress she says something really interesting she says for
[43:07]years she's been preaching to people that stress is a bad thing
[43:10]that it's the cause of heart disease and and it's the cause
[43:13]of heart attacks and strokes and all sorts of sicknesses such as
[43:19]ulcers and so forth but then she said that her new research
[43:22]actually shows that in actual fact it all has to do with
[43:29]your perception of the stress that you have stress can actually be
[43:33]a good thing and I'll give you a simple example and I'll
[43:37]talk a little fight science since we have some warriors amongst us
[43:45]you know in the sport of Thai boxing and Muay Thai we're
[43:50]talking about martial arts okay and I'm sure all of you have
[43:55]seen this on TV on National Geographic or Discovery or something what
[43:59]you find also in the sports of in the martial art of
[44:01]confu and Shotokan the Japanese form that what they tend to do
[44:07]is they tend to practice by hitting bricks with their hand right
[44:11]and muy Thai what they do is they literally kick a log
[44:16]over and over and you've seen videos of the Shaolin monks probably
[44:20]doing this hitting it with their left shin hitting it with their
[44:23]right shin hitting it with their left chin right shin over over
[44:28]and over and over again and then those of you who watch
[44:31]shows like the MMA for example UFC and not that stuff and
[44:38]you see this one guy who kicks this guy's chin and literally
[44:40]the shin snaps just like when you see Jimmy and that guy
[44:47]kicked the baseball bat right and the baseball bat snaps you see
[44:52]that stress can actually make those bones stronger research done on baseball
[45:00]players top batters right they found that the bone density on their
[45:06]leading arm when they bat is much thicker than on the non-leading
[45:10]arm and the reason why is because of the repetition of the
[45:14]use of that arm over and over and over again that's a
[45:16]scientific fact which means that stress can actually make you stronger if
[45:22]you understand that that's the purpose of the stress if your perception
[45:28]her studies show that if your perception is that it is negative
[45:34]then what will happen you'll fall into a depression you'll fall into
[45:38]a slump you'll fall into thinking pessimistically and you won't realize the
[45:42]benefits of the stress that you're actually going through see aliquot if
[45:45]you realize this now Ally your life is gonna be smooth smooth
[45:54]sailing you see now what does Islam tell us now that we
[45:58]understand what the science tells us Aslam tells us something really beautiful
[46:05]and that verse that we started out with what did it say
[46:08]it says well in a blue one neckl be shaken Allah says
[46:14]whoa laughs he says surely and really well NAB Louanna so here
[46:28]we've got lamb of tech heat and the Wow actually the Wow
[46:32]actually is a way for us to swear by something just like
[46:38]we say well Oscar allah says in holy quran what baja right
[46:41]well laylee right allah subhanaw taala swears by these things so here
[46:45]a lot of swearing for sure land a blue one a noon
[46:50]of emphasis again lamb of instances known of emphasis and he doesn't
[46:53]say well and a blue one nichette says one and a blue
[46:56]one at home all of you doesn't say o you who believe
[47:01]he says come all of you all of people all of mankind
[47:03]with what he says be shaken with a little bit of golf
[47:11]fear Nell Kofi well jury and hunger one excellent and a deficiency
[47:16]mean L AM wali well emphysema thammarat wealth health sustenance the fruits
[47:26]of your labor and then what does he say he says looked
[47:30]but don't worry look beyond the struggle he says well best shield
[47:33]of sovereign says give glad tidings to those who are patient be
[47:38]patient brother Hassan that's the code you want to break the code
[47:47]you want to cheat code that's what it is patience what best
[47:50]Shearer saw it in and Levine who say well how am I
[47:55]going to be patient Ya Allah how will I be patient he
[47:56]says he now he defines a sovereign and levena either a sahabat
[48:02]who mows a baton call you in nara Lionel a garage on
[48:04]that's simple Allah says look those are the ones who when afflicted
[48:10]by a calamity say here's the code write it down this is
[48:13]your key surely we are from Allah and to him we shall
[48:19]return which means what it means the test is temporary because if
[48:22]you think about the endgame remember what we said in the goal
[48:25]setting if you think about what your final goal is it is
[48:29]to meet your Lord to show him that in the meeting when
[48:32]you are judged that surely you did everything that you could to
[48:35]please him to show him your gratitude brother Hassan right what happens
[48:40]then brother sin then my mindset changes the way I see stress
[48:45]changes I don't look at it in a pessimistic fashion but rather
[48:50]I look at it brother much never in an optimistic fashion now
[48:54]I become an optimist I'm optimistic that this struggle will end I'm
[49:00]optimistic that I will surpass the struggle successfully why because I remembered
[49:07]that I'm not give me the struggle surely I am from Allah
[49:12]and this struggle is from him and to he I shall return
[49:15]and report how I did in these struggles in this life and
[49:22]if I do so what's my reward Allah says beautifully after he
[49:28]says o bachelor slobby Deen and latina - wobba - masseur Giancarlo
[49:35]in Allah he won a lady about your own surely we are
[49:38]from Allah - he we shall return he says who those are
[49:49]the ones whom allah subhanaw taala praises and bestows his mercy and
[49:54]those are the ones who will be labeled as the righteously guided
[50:01]what an honor what an honor Allah says in Allah whom Allah
[50:09]akita who you saw Luna Highlander be surely Allah and his angels
[50:15]praised the holy prophet yahya Lavina sallu alayhi wasalam Oh Taslima Salawat
[50:26]Allah and his angels do Salawat on the Prophet Allah here says
[50:33]Allah Iike these people that do this of my worshippers I will
[50:36]do Salawat upon them just like I do Salavat on my prophet
[50:44]what an honor what an absolute honor and it's that simple to
[50:49]be patient through all these struggles it's open book he tells you
[50:53]exactly what you're going to go through and all I need to
[50:57]do is just remind myself surely discuss this temporary I am from
[51:01]Allah to he I shall return how am I going to meet
[51:04]him how am I going to face him right I surpassed the
[51:10]struggles successfully oh Allah struggle 1 & 2 & 3 I passed
[51:14]level 1 2 3 4 I'm in the end zone pray over
[51:19]me just like you did over your prophecy Allah bestow upon me
[51:30]your mercy Allah place me in heaven yah Allah we ask that
[51:34]allah subhanaw taala makes us even more 13 we ask that allah
[51:38]subhanaw taala accepts what little we offer in this holy month and
[51:43]that this becomes part of our practical repertoire that I remind myself
[51:48]during the day that surely I am from Allah and to he
[51:52]I shall return - I wanna anaconda lillahi rabbil aalameen o salat
[51:57]wa salam ala sayyidal mursaleen habib allah a nummy-nummy Ocasio Mustafa Muhammad
