[0:20]May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon you Allah [Music]

[0:28]continue to understand and learn and practice the teachings of the Quran

[0:34]and Salaam we find Allah 36 States of the rights and responsibilities

[0:47]and the duties that every single individual has in this world he

[0:54]mentions those rights as the rights of Allah subhanahu ta'ala upon us

[0:59]and the rights of others Upon Us Allah he first States first

[1:11]and foremost duty to worship and obey only Allah and to not

[1:18]associate anything other than him then he mentions those who have rights

[1:24]upon us those we must show goodness and kindness towards for example

[1:31]towards the parents towards the near relatives then he mentions regards to

[1:37]the jar al-jar two forms of Jar are mentioned and the distance

[1:49]state that when it comes to the neighbor the jar mentioned here

[1:56]the koruba the new one and the distant one there are a

[2:03]number of understandings one is that the neighbor can have a number

[2:08]of Rights upon you there may be your next door neighbor in

[3:01]a right upon us and we have to show kindness and goodness

[3:07]towards them be good towards our towards our neighbors and the recent

[3:13]pandemic in the last few years we found the importance of having

[3:20]good neighbors there were elders or the sick amongst us or those

[4:00]neighbor like a simple few minutes of a chit chat session with

[4:06]the neighbor the neighbor was all alone at home and they needed

[4:09]someone to speak to they felt real difficult for those moments that

[4:13]they were in the stage that they couldn't leave the home they

[4:17]needed someone to speak to or some certain assistance with certain duties

[4:23]neighbors and good volunteers were available and in the contrast sometimes you

[4:29]read about certain neighbors and you can't fathom where the care and

[4:33]consideration kindness is that sometimes people have no idea who their neighbor

[4:41]is sometimes people realize that their neighbor is in danger their neighbor

[4:47]needs help and assistance and those lock their door away and don't

[4:51]help their neighbor I was recent recently reading in an article in

[4:56]a newspaper that's a neighbor found that the fellow neighbor a person

[5:04]found that their neighbor passed away after a few days of the

[5:08]smell of the decomposition of the body in the neighbor's home that

[5:16]no one contacted the ambulance no one contacted the police no one

[5:21]asked what's happened to our neighbor what's the news of our neighbor

[5:24]where is he why is he not leaving the home what's happened

[5:26]after a few days of him passing away they realized and that

[5:32]is what Islam states that we should be the good neighbor a

[5:39]neighbor who takes care and considers the importance of the duties and

[5:46]respect towards their neighbors and of course when we mentioned neighbor does

[5:50]not mean your next door neighbor States neighbor 40 homes this way

[5:57]fought your homes this way 40 homes this way that your neighborhood

[6:01]have a right and duty of care towards them of course that's

[6:05]in regarding towards your neighbor in terms of the Homing the residents

[7:02]property and therefore I would consider them as neighbor from hell hence

[7:36]move into a house before I buy a house or rent a

[12:32]then and they are hungry day and night your own neighbor immediately

[12:54]that in itself was one of the most sinful acts of not

[12:59]considering taking care of your neighbor but the fact that you have

[13:02]no idea of what's going on in your neighbor's lives taking care

[13:07]of them being of considerate support he said here is some monthly

[13:11]support gift for them take care of them and be of those

[13:16]who are care and kind towards their neighbors all you find during

[13:20]the time of the Holy messenger a man came to the holy

[13:25]prophet ya rasulullah I have a complained to you about my neighbor

[13:28]the holy prophet said be patient one of the best forms of

[13:37]being a good neighbor is to be patient be patient be patient

[13:42]upon what they are harming and troubling you after some time of

[13:47]being patient he came again I complained to you about this neighbor

[13:51]he's harmful he's annoying he's being Troublesome towards me the holy prophet

[13:58]said again be patient try to be patient be patient s the

[14:03]third time after constant advice to that individual and cons advice to

[14:06]the neighbor the holy prophet said to him when he came to

[14:11]the complaint again the third time he said okay on this occasion

[14:15]now that you have given him so much patience and you have

[14:19]been so much being considerate now I want you to do something

[14:23]when you go home put all of your luggage and the furniture

[14:29]put it outside in the street he went home put the luggage

[14:36]and the furniture in the pasta industry everyone would walk past in

[14:40]the neighborhood would say what kind of neighbor is this man he's

[14:42]not taking care of his neighbor what kind of neighbor is taking

[14:46]care of his neighbor what kind of neighbor he's been so harmful

[14:48]towards his neighbor that his luggage and everything his furniture is outside

[14:52]so much so that that neighbor realized the harm that he was

[14:55]doing towards his neighbor and he came to him asking for forgiveness

[14:59]forgive me forgive me take all your luggage back I've had enough

[15:04]of people complaining and cursing and saying upon me bring them back

[15:12]doing now when it comes to care and consideration towards our neighbor

[15:38]self-sacrifice a sense of thinking of others prioritizing others before before ourselves

[15:55]it comes to the rights and responsibilities and duties towards the neighbor

[16:02]the Imam says be best in your care and consideration and kinship

[16:10]and kindness towards your neighbors for example for example they state that

[16:17]we shouldn't trespass into their property without their permission Islamic teachings over

[16:23]a thousand four hundred years ago would give us the importance of

[16:27]taking care of the neighbors nowadays we see certain rules and regulations

[16:33]neighborhood watch and certain importance that even when you Islam taught us

[16:38]years ago that when you build your home make sure it's in

[16:42]a way that you're not overseeing the private property of your neighbor

[16:47]nowadays when you want to build a house or build an apartment

[16:49]you have to get a council permission you have to get the

[16:51]permission from the local Authority Islam taught this many years ago that

[16:57]you need the permission the rights of your neighbors take care of

[17:02]the consideration of your neighbors Islam States for example when it comes

[17:05]to noise when it comes to noise making noise sometimes even people

[17:10]think that just because it's Islamic we can do whatever we want

[17:14]till midnight 2 A.M we'll blast the Quran Will Blast because it's

[17:22]Halal it's fine no you have neighbors take care of them consider

[17:25]their rights they have children they have young children they have times

[17:29]that they are sleeping they are asleep you have to show respect

[17:32]and adapt towards one another when it comes to kindness sometimes someone's

[17:40]enable of another he says masha'allah they're cooking some lovely food I

[17:45]can smell the baklava I can smell no sometimes we should also

[17:48]knock on the door and offer them and provide for them and

[17:53]think of them say alhamdulillah today we have prepared for the month

[17:56]of Ramadan this is a an offering especially when it comes to

[18:02]the days of Celebration the days of Joy the days of remembrance

[18:06]of the Milad of in itself is a reflection of the teachings

[18:10]of Islam that here I am providing for you all remembering of

[18:13]your I would like you to share with us in this celebration

[18:18]I would like to share this joyful occasion with you all or

[18:21]the Hadith says when they are in difficulty assist them when they

[18:29]are in need help them when they come and ask for your

[18:33]assistance go towards their home when they are sick visit them when

[18:37]they pass away even when they have passed away go to their

[18:44]janaza ceremony go to their funeral ceremony whether they're Muslim or non-muslim

[18:48]Islam teaches us about the rights of the neighbor the responsibilities and

[18:56]duties we have towards our neighbor the respect that we should show

[19:00]towards our neighbor how many times has it been that we've received

[19:03]complaints from our neighbors not necessary Neighbors at home neighbors of the

[19:10]mosque neighbors of the husania neighbors of the Islamic Center that there

[19:15]was no care there was no consideration there was no thought about

[19:18]your neighbors no we should show up the true teachings of Islam

[19:26]the true teachings of the Muhammad Allah who showed love and care

[19:38]and consideration towards their neighbor and that's why we should highlight the

[19:41]importance of having good neighbors in this world and having good neighbors

[19:47]in this world is a blessing and if we have those neighbors

[19:51]who are difficult who are Troublesome think of it as a trial

[19:56]as an IM tehan in this world bear patience towards them and

[20:03]tolerate them and you be awesome you be better you be good

[20:06]towards them even though they may be difficult towards you we wish

[20:12]to have good neighbors in this world correct we should have the

[20:15]best of Neighbors in our residence in our home where we're moving

[20:18]towards from one place to another in fact not only we want

[20:23]to have good neighbors in this world when we wish to go

[20:27]into our club and to our cup everyone's going to go into

[20:29]the camp we also want to have good neighbors towards my left

[20:35]towards my right that's why many of us we wish that we

[20:38]are buried where by the one who is titled meaning some of

[20:50]the meaning here know another title [Music] is the one who takes

[21:00]great consideration and protection of his neighbors many more many in in

[21:10]Arabia many more meaning around the world in fact they say when

[21:15]I pass away carry and raise my janaza and take it on

[21:23]the journey for me to be buried beside where and why this

[21:28]Salam I wish to be ajar of amiral in my but I

[21:33]want to be buried besides someone who'll give me Baraka besides someone

[21:37]who'll give me the utmost blessings in this world and you find

[21:41]this more meaning wish to be buried beside other meaning and one

[21:47]of the duties and what the rights of a Muslim is to

[21:50]be buried in a Muslim Cemetery beside Muslims and of course you

[21:54]find that sign would be written on our Tombstone rest in peace

[21:59]how beautiful it is sometimes you find husbands and wives you got

[22:11]found their peace now in and the kabur they're now buried right

[22:14]next to each other reminds me of one of the one of

[22:19]the speakers said that one day his wife passed away and they

[23:19]with their parents in the same same vicinity and many wish to

[23:23]be buried in that jar in that area who they are beside

[28:15]stage in Jannah where in Jannah and they shall be the jar

[29:56]feed someone he would take care of someone and that elderly lady

[30:00]would raise her hands into US Towards the Sky that man came

[30:05]back the butcher came back Prophet Musa asked him oh man who

[30:12]was that lady he said that's my mother my elderly mother I

[30:17]take care of her I feed her I provide for her he

[30:21]said oh man what did she say in her Dua when she

[30:25]raised her hands Towards the Sky he said every day when I

[30:29]take care of my mother my mom my mother raises her hands

[30:31]towards the sky and says Ya Allah allow my son for his

[30:38]son for his goodness towards me to be the neighbor of prophet

[30:41]Musa and Jannah he said tell your mother the Dua of the

[30:49]mother is Mr job the Dua of the mothers accepted tell her

[30:54]that her Dua has truly been accepted Allah has informed me that

[30:59]me and you and you and I shall be neighbors of prophet

[31:04]Musa we shall be you're going to be the neighbor of prophet

[31:07]Musa I Prophet Musa in Jannah we ask Allah to grant us

[31:13]the best of neighbors and to take care of our neighbors and

[31:18]to be the best of Neighbors in this Dunya in the kabra

[31:21]may Allah forgive us all and take the best of consideration and

[31:28]care towards all our dear wardens us foreign
