[4:15]on the twenty fifth of muharram it is the day the martyrdom

[4:21]of the imam the fourth imam al imam ali ibn al hussain

[4:27]zain al abideen alaihi salam imam zain al abideen you know was

[4:35]born in the city of medina on the year of '38 of

[4:42]the immigration of rasulullah and by that some of the scholars because

[4:54]we believe that he was born two years before the martyrdom of

[5:01]amir al mumineen alaihis salam so it means amir al mumineen alaihis

[5:12]salam and there is a hadith that hadith it's mentioned by the

[5:19]sunni school of thought also and shia both they said one day

[5:24]attend in the majlis that hadith narrated by jabir ibn abdullahi ansari

[5:36]and he said rasulullah saw imam hussain alaihi salaam and rasulullah said

[5:43]to the people imam hussein will have a son his name ali

[5:50]and he will come in the day of judgment in the crowd

[5:55]of the day of judgment and they will call him among of

[6:02]the people they will call imam zain al abideen from the people

[6:07]and they will said who's the who's the zain al abideen by

[6:15]this title so we believe that even the sunnis brother they believe

[6:21]the title of was given by to imam ali ibn al hussein

[6:31]and at the day of judgment allah the angels they will call

[6:37]imam zain al abideen and will by this name zain al abideen

[6:44]and he will stand and he will go to the heaven in

[6:49]that day this is mentioned by the sunni and shia that's why

[6:55]we believe all muslims even the sunni scholars all they do respect

[7:02]to imam zain al abideen when they mention his name they used

[7:09]to say there is no one was knowledgeable than him in that

[7:15]time and no one was better than him in his time they

[7:22]mentioned that so we would like to speak little bit about the

[8:11]history of the that great imam without focusing on the tragedy of

[8:21]ashura and the sorrow and sadness on that day so let me

[8:28]little bit speak about his history the scholars they said there is

[8:35]probably four important point in his life peace be upon him the

[8:42]first point how imam zain al abideen can survive after that tragedy

[8:52]and how he could keep the family of ahlul bayt and his

[8:59]sisters and the kids saved from the from the regime from yazid

[9:06]and and not just that he also made him and the shia

[9:15]on that time the supporter of ahlul bayt saved and he returned

[9:23]to medina without other problems because when you read the history my

[9:32]dear brothers and sisters you will find there is many revolutions happened

[9:38]in the time of bani umayyah but unfortunately all these revolutions was

[9:43]ended was ended or the government the regime was was end that

[9:53]revolution without any problem the only things the and the regime cannot

[10:03]cannot stand that's the name of ali and imam hassan and imam

[10:09]hussein and fatima tizarah and was remained between the people imam zain

[12:20]al abideen he was able to return to medina and keeping his

[12:26]dignity and respect among of the muslims after the tragedy of ashura

[12:34]so this is it was not able to other people who who

[12:41]did the revolution against the bani umayyah this is the first point

[12:47]so scholars mention that in the history of imam my dear brothers

[12:55]and sisters the second point it is very very important you know

[13:03]imam hassan imam hussain so they have the power in their hand

[13:08]and they fight with many time imam hassan and imam hussain but

[13:14]imam zain al abideen because the power was not in his hand

[13:19]he doesn't have that much power so he start different technique against

[13:27]the regime of bani ummayah he start and established a new school

[13:34]of thought against they call that school school of the dua school

[13:43]of worshiping allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so this is it is was

[13:50]very important in that time he could keep away of him and

[13:58]they cannot do anything with him because he's just doing dua and

[14:02]praying allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and now we will mention inshallah in

[14:09]the next point how imam left that very rich legacy after him

[14:18]the book of and he he put in that book all the

[14:29]teaching of like how we believe in allah subhanahu wa ta'ala how

[14:37]we believe in the prophet peace be upon him how we believe

[14:40]in the day of judgment imam include all these meaning and put

[14:46]it in that book of and imam had many many of the

[15:06]student of the dua even in the sunni school of thought they

[15:11]learn from imam and they do respect to imam so imam was

[17:15]able to narrate these duas and prayer prayers from rasulullah and amir

[17:25]al mumineen this is what's very important in that time my dear

[17:31]brothers and sisters if you read the history of islam you will

[17:35]see after them the tragedy of karbala people they were lost many

[17:42]many people even the lovers of ahlul bayt they were lost in

[17:48]medina in yemen in basra in different city they were lost after

[17:53]imam hussein alaihi salam so imam zain al abideen he was able

[17:59]to return and bring these people again to the school of ahlul

[18:04]bayt by the school of dua so anything was any topic it

[18:13]was doubt about that topic between sunni and shia at that time

[18:19]between bani ummayah and al al bay imam he used with eloquent

[18:27]words he used in these meaning put these meaning in the duas

[18:35]that's why my dear brothers and sisters now after fourteen hundred years

[18:42]still the book of it's a live book among of the people

[21:24]the person who narrated this little story he said i was walking

[21:38]between medina and mecca going to hajj you know at that time

[21:44]passed people they don't have that much money some people the rich

[21:49]people they have camels so the poor people they go walking walking

[21:54]between mecca and medina also it was about twenty days probably and

[21:59]by the camel was ten days between medina and mecca so a

[22:08]man he said i was walking in the desert at the middle

[22:13]of desert i saw a young boy walking alone alone no one

[22:19]with his no one with him so i came to him i

[22:26]told him the man he asked him where is your camel where

[23:17]is your ride where is your stuffed food nothing with you and

[23:23]where are you going said my camel my ride my feet these

[23:29]feet and my food my piety the fear of allah that my

[23:38]food and where i'm going i'm going to maulai to mecca he

[23:46]said when i hear this word of him i realize he's not

[23:51]a ordinary person he's not someone like other people no he's probably

[24:00]the son of messenger of allah he's from he said i am

[24:36]from quresh from bani hashem and i am from the children of

[24:42]ali he said then he left me and he goes to mecca

[25:29]he said after a few days i saw him in mecca in

[25:34]the masjid he's giving lecture to the people people around of him

[25:39]i came to some people they said who's this guy they told

[25:43]me this is ali hussein he said the person who narrated this

[27:04]story he said i heard him he's doing tawaf around of the

[27:10]kaaba and he reciting these beautiful poets the poet poems and he's

[27:20]speaking with allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and he said elihi the this

[27:28]is the meaning of what he said he said elihi you asked

[27:31]me to do the dua now i am asking you i know

[27:34]your door it's open to face off these the sinners and now

[27:41]i ask i ask you and i ask you by the name

[27:46]of haram and the kaaba to accept my prayers he said i

[28:51]saw the imam at the time of noon at the noon time

[29:00]where it is very hot at the summertime i saw him doing

[29:06]sujood on the stone on the very hot stones and thousand time

[29:14]he said 1,000 time in the noon time on the summertime imam

[29:37]zain al abideen repeating that's why people called him muhammad al bakr

[29:54]he narrated he said my father when he was young every year

[30:01]once he used to cut the skin here became on his forehead

[30:08]because he do sujood and the skin here became very tough you

[30:13]know and rough here he said imam used to bring a scissor

[30:18]with the scissor he used to cut that skin here once a

[30:22]once a year he said in the end of his life he

[30:27]used to do do that twice twice a year he used to

[30:33]cut the skin here on his forehead one of the sunni scholar

[32:15]his name he said one of the years in medina was drought

[32:22]and people they call to go to do the the prayer special

[32:30]prayer for the rain to ask allah the rain comes he said

[32:34]i was among thousand of people of medina i came out to

[32:39]do the prayer he said among of people i saw a slave

[32:46]a black one he was doing sujood and during his sujood he

[32:53]said i heard him he said elihi you know that i never

[32:58]commit a sin i never did a sin elihi i ask you

[33:03]by the name of muhammad and ali muhammad to send the rain

[33:09]said ibn al musayab he said before ending his prayer we saw

[33:15]the cloud which comes in the sky and suddenly the rain start

[33:20]coming said ibn al masayib he said i said i have to

[33:27]know who's this guy so no one knows a black one he's

[33:34]in medina no one knows him he said i start following him

[33:39]going behind him walking behind him until i saw him he entered

[33:45]the door of imam zain al abideen alaihi salam said ibn al

[35:47]musaib said the second day i came to imam zain al abideen

[35:51]i said you have many slaves in your home i i ask

[35:56]you to give me one of them imam said yes okay see

[36:00]who you like take him said he said i looked to the

[36:06]face of these slaves i didn't find that person who i saw

[36:11]him i told imam he's not between these people imam he said

[36:21]we have one slaves he taking care of the camels and the

[36:26]the donkeys around of the home there because they have to ride

[36:31]they we have someone old and he's not benefiting you he cannot

[36:35]do anything for you he's old he said i don't want him

[36:42]to serve me i want to serve her i want that imam

[36:48]said why then i told the imam i heard him on the

[36:54]prayer he said elihi i never commit a sin imam called him

[37:00]he came and when asked imam to take him he start crying

[37:07]and he said give me three days give me three days here

[37:11]in the home of imam zain abedin and then i will come

[37:14]with you said he said next day i went to wait for

[38:10]three days next day morning imam sent someone to tell me that's

[38:16]your friend that guy he died come and do the prayer on

[38:21]him and said he said i was very very sad that i

[38:26]caused him because i asked him to come with me and he

[38:30]said ask for three days and he asked allah just to die

[38:36]and this is it shows how imam zain al abideen used to

[38:41]bring these people in his home teaching them raise them with knowledge

[38:48]with piety with fear of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and send him

[38:55]send them to the society imam zain al abideen one day in

[43:01]the market of medina in the souq bazaar of medina he stand

[43:10]on the one of the markets of the butchers and he asked

[43:16]him he saw him he prepare prepare sheep to to sacrifice to

[43:29]kill that sheep imam asked him did you give him a water

[43:35]did you let him to drink water he said we are muslims

[43:42]we learn from your your grandfather before killing any animals to give

[43:50]them drink to give them a water he said suddenly i saw

[43:55]imam put his head on the wall and he start crying he

[43:59]said i asked him why you cry he said but these muslims

[44:06]they imam said anytime when i saw my sisters when i saw

[45:58]my aunts i remember the day of when they were running between

[46:05]the tents each tent when they got fired they came and they

[46:12]all gather in the tent of imam
