[0:05]Alhamdulillah.
[0:28]Respected scholars, brothers and sisters, It seems that there's a fortune game
[1:03]tonight because the crowd is a little thin.
[1:05]Unless there's not, which is which is even worse.
[1:10]I'd like to uh begin our discussion tonight first by offering my
[1:16]congratulations to all of you uh on the birth anniversary of say
[1:25]who truly embodies the concept of dignity in Islam and victory in
[1:35]the face of adversity to anchor our discussion tonight.
[1:43]I want to begin by reflecting on this verse from where Allah
[1:51]subhana wa ta'ala he makes a promise.
[2:01]Allah subhana wa ta'ala in this ayah he says and god has
[2:08]written and this is for emphasis you know when something is written
[2:12]it conveys an idea of being official means that Allah has proclaimed
[2:24]for those of you who are familiar with the Arabic language there
[2:29]is double emphasis in this word the lamb of emphasis.
[2:33]And Allah has written that without a shadow of doubt, Allah says,
[2:42]"Me and my messengers will be victorious." You see, when you look
[2:53]at the Quran, one of the most revolutionary concepts is the idea
[2:58]that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is You know this this ayah, alhamdulillah,
[3:05]we take it for granted.
[3:07]But the reality is that this verse, the idea of Allah being
[3:17]the nurturer of the heavens and the earth was revolutionary because the
[3:24]Arabs in the pre-Islamic era, the mushri, they believe that Allah was
[3:31]the creator.
[3:30]They accepted him as the creator.
[3:41]If you were to ask these idol worshippers who created the heavens
[3:50]and the earth, they would say surely Allah.
[3:51]So they believed in what we can call they believe that the
[3:58]creator of the heavens and the earth is just one.
[4:02]So then the question is why do they worship idols?
[4:03]because they had this idea that God is too lofty to be
[4:11]concerned with the affairs of human beings that Allah is so transcendent
[4:16]that he is aloof from his creation.
[4:19]He can't be bothered with you know your livelihood, your sickness, your
[4:27]troubles and hence they return to these idols, these lesser gods for
[4:34]their daily needs.
[4:35]And then comes the prophet and he says alhamdulillah that Allah is
[4:44]not just your creator.
[4:47]He didn't just create you and abandon you.
[4:47]He didn't create you and feel that you are too lowly for
[4:54]him to have a relationship with you.
[4:56]The idea of is that Allah says, "I created you and I'm
[5:01]going to be with you every step of the way." That I
[5:06]communicate with you, I speak to you, I guide you, I nurture
[5:10]you, I am actively involved in every step of your life.
[5:18]So that means that Allah subhana wa ta'ala speaks to us.
[5:22]He communicates to us and one of the things that he has
[5:25]done in the Quran is that he has made certain promises to
[5:33]us.
[5:32]There are many verses in the Quran where Allah makes promises to
[5:39]his servants.
[5:37]Inah Bakar verse 102 Allah makes a promise.
[5:44]of remember me and I will remember you.
[5:50]It's not that Allah remembers in the sense that he forgets and
[5:55]then you come to mind.
[5:55]No, remember me and I will give you special consideration.
[6:00]I will treat you with special regard.
[6:03]Remember me among human beings and I will remember you in the
[6:10]highest assembly of angels.
[6:11]That's a promise.
[6:14]Allah subhana wa ta'ala also promises something else.
[6:22]Allah says if you are grateful I will increase you in blessings.
[6:31]That's a promise.
[6:30]If you're grateful there is a reaction and that is Allah will
[6:36]give you more.
[6:39]Another promise Whoever is conscious of God and this what's amazing is
[6:53]that this ayah is in you know because in the context of
[6:57]divorce people don't think about God they think about I need to
[7:03]find the best lawyer right so Allah subhana wa ta says what
[7:10]he makes a promise if you make the obedience of God your
[7:14]highest priority, Allah will help you find a way out.
[7:21]But if you think that you're smart, Allah will leave you to
[7:27]your own device.
[7:27]And then Allah says, "If you have tawa, if you don't try
[7:35]to cut corners, if you are a person of integrity, Allah says,
[7:40]I will help you find a way out and I will provide
[7:42]for for you from unexpected sources." That's a promise.
[7:50]And among the most important promises that Allah makes in the Quran
[7:56]is that indeed me and my messengers we will prevail.
[8:07]We will be victorious.
[8:10]But when you look at the long history of prophets, it doesn't
[8:16]seem like a story of victory because the overwhelming majority of prophets
[8:23]were killed.
[8:25]If you look at our imams killed by the sword or killed
[8:31]by poison, where is the victory?
[8:34]You see, to understand what constitutes victory from an Islamic perspective, you
[8:42]have to understand the purpose of life.
[8:46]How can you understand what victory is if you haven't fully comprehended
[8:53]the purpose of life?
[8:53]What is the purpose of life?
[8:55]I don't want to get into a deep philosophical discussion but if
[9:00]we want to put it very simply the purpose of life is
[9:06]to live authentically and to live authentically means that you have to
[9:12]align your values and your life with the absolute truth and one
[9:18]of the names of Allah is al you know we have this
[9:24]expression the truth will set you free.
[9:26]Many of us, we've experienced this at various junctures in our lives.
[9:32]There is something very liberating about discovering the truth, speaking the truth,
[9:38]and supporting the truth.
[9:40]And Allah subhanana wa ta'ala in the Quran, he calls us to
[9:50]be promoters of truth, upholders of truth.
[9:52]And the prophets, they are the official communicators of truth.
[9:58]They are the official preservers of truth.
[10:01]They are the warriors of truth.
[10:05]And therefore, victory is to simply participate in the perpetual struggle between
[10:16]truth and falsehood.
[10:17]So when you look at this ayah, Allah says, that me and
[10:27]my messengers will be victorious.
[10:28]What does that mean?
[10:29]Does that mean that every prophet is going to crush his enemies
[10:33]in the battlefield?
[10:33]We know that that's not the case.
[10:36]If you look at Ibraim and Num who was victorious you know
[10:45]at during the lifetime of Ibraim the answer to that question was
[10:52]not obvious.
[10:53]Who is the victor?
[10:56]The great Num or this youth this troublemaker called Ibraim.
[11:04]But now today, thousands of years later, we know who was victorious
[11:11]because no one in the world wants to associate themselves with Namud.
[11:19]But more more than half of the world takes pride in following
[11:22]the tradition of Ibraim.
[11:25]That is victory.
[11:27]The legacy of Ibraim continues.
[11:30]the legacy of Nimud's ashes.
[11:34]You know, this reminds me of a a narration that she mentions
[11:39]in his Amali.
[11:41]So, if let me share something with you that will be useful
[11:45]if you ever participate in Islamic jeopardy.
[11:48]The word amali literally means dictations.
[11:54]is a book where the great shehi who is the founder of
[11:59]the of he used to have you know what I would call
[12:04]sah with the boys except his boys were scholars right so he
[12:07]used to have these gatherings and what would they do they weren't
[12:12]smoking and cracking jokes I don't know maybe maybe he did smoke
[12:15]I'm not sure the point is that he would share a hadith
[12:20]with his students on various topics and every evening they would sit
[12:28]withhi and he would share five, six, seven a hadith and they
[12:30]would write those a hadith and over the years the book was
[12:38]compiled the dictations of shehikhi.
[12:39]One of the hadith that he mentions in the is the following
[12:47]hadith from He says Ali.
[13:05]When Imam Zam had returned from Kbalah after the massacre of Imam
[13:14]Hussein and his companions, there was a man who was associated with
[13:22]the Umayads.
[13:25]He saw Im Zin and the Imam had his head covered.
[13:30]He he had just returned from witnessing the worst massacre in the
[13:36]history of Islam.
[13:38]And you know these um they have this habit of really kicking
[13:43]people when they're down or as as far as their from their
[13:46]perspective.
[13:47]So he tries to taunt im what does he say to him?
[13:56]He says Hussein who won.
[14:02]He says to immedi folk, all of the men were slaughtered.
[14:10]So he's trying to taunt him.
[14:17]Who won?
[14:15]He was gloating.
[14:19]Who's victorious?
[14:20]Imam Zin.
[14:22]Even though physically he was tortured and he was probably completely depleted,
[14:30]he looks at him and he says, "If you want to know
[14:38]who was victorious, if you want to know whose legacy will live
[14:48]on and who was truly victorious, wait for the time of salah
[14:56]and recite the adan and the whose name still echo echoes in
[15:00]the lands.
[15:01]Is it the name of Yazid and his forefathers or is it
[15:07]the name of Muhammadbah?
[15:13]That is that is victory to participate in a struggle where you
[15:23]change the direction of history.
[15:25]Even if you don't see the fruits of your labor in your
[15:28]lifetime to merely be a participant in this holy struggle that in
[15:35]and of itself is victory.
[15:37]Among the promises that Allah subhana wa ta'ala makes in the Quran
[15:44]is in surah Muhammad surah 47 ayia number seven.
[15:48]Oh you who believe Oh you who believe if you help God
[16:01]will help you.
[16:04]Question why does God need help?
[16:09]Does Allah need help?
[16:10]I thought Allah is the all powerful.
[16:12]Why does Allah say if you help me I will help you.
[16:19]The mu of the Quran they say Allah is not asking you
[16:24]to help him helping him means to help his message to be
[16:29]at the service of truth that is helping God because Allah is
[16:35]al and to be at the service of the truth is to
[16:41]put yourself in God's camp if you help God will help you
[16:49]but the question is how does Allah help the believers?
[16:56]Because when you look at what's happened over the past year, some
[17:00]of us might look at Gaza, we might look at Lebanon and
[17:05]we might ask where is the help of God?
[17:11]And as the days and the weeks and the months pass, some
[17:16]of us might even fall into a state of despair, how does
[17:22]Allah subhana wa ta'ala help the believers?
[17:25]He does it in many ways and inshallah tomorrow night we'll speak
[17:28]in more detail.
[17:31]But very briefly if you look at the movement of the prophet
[17:38]Allah subh sometimes you have where the victory is very clear but
[17:49]sometimes you have and you have you have ups and you have
[17:59]downs in the battle of how did Allah Subhana wa ta'ala help
[18:03]the believers.
[18:05]Allah subhana wa ta'ala he says infal you know you can imagine
[18:09]the Muslim army this is the first battle and they're outnumbered 3
[18:15]to one and the they have the best weapons and any political
[18:23]pundit in the world would have looked at that and would have
[18:28]said the Muslims are finished.
[18:29]Allah subhana wa ta'ala what does he say?
[18:32]He says it's not just when you make dua.
[18:42]It's when you make dua from the depths of your heart because
[18:45]you feel that you have no other recourse.
[18:48]It's the most sincere.
[18:50]It's it's a dua out of desperation.
[18:52]It's a very sincere dua.
[18:57]Allah responded.
[18:58]And you know why Allah responds?
[19:00]Allah responds to sincere duas.
[19:02]The problem is most of the time when we make dua, life
[19:06]is too comfortable for us to actually be sincere.
[19:08]We need to be hit with calamities for us to really accept
[19:14]our vulnerability and truly turn to him in a state of how
[19:19]does Allah help the Muslims in bed.
[19:29]Allah says, "You called upon me and I responded." And Allah says,
[19:38]"Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand angels coming in ranks."
[19:45]In Bed, the narrations say that some of the companions, they saw
[19:53]things that they couldn't explain.
[19:56]They could feel the presence of angels.
[19:59]They could feel an unseen force aiding them in their fight against
[20:08]the mushri.
[20:08]Sometimes Allah helps with legions of angels.
[20:16]But then Allah says what in the next verse ayah 10 of
[20:20][Applause] Allah allowed you to see to peak into the world of
[20:27]the unseen as a glad tiding.
[20:28]So you never think that you're weak.
[20:31]You might have a small human army, but you have a massive
[20:39]angelic army behind you because it's their first battle.
[20:46]Because Islam is still in its infancy, they needed that boost.
[20:49]Allah says, I wanted to bring tranquility to your hearts.
[20:54]And then Allah reminds them of something that's very important.
[21:00]But remember, it's not the angels that won the battle for you.
[21:07]It's Allah.
[21:09]It wasn't.
[21:07]It wasn't me.
[21:11]Behind these unseen forces is the ultimate force and that is Allah
[21:16]subhana wa ta'ala.
[21:18]So sometimes help comes in the form of unseen forces.
[21:24]In the ayah inahu, one of the ways in which Allah helps
[21:37]those who serve his cause is that he firmly establishes their feet.
[21:44]Meaning that he gives them steadfastness.
[21:49]The best indicator of who is going to win a war, it's
[21:54]not weapons, it's morale.
[21:56]Morale is always going to win.
[22:01]And Allah subhana wa ta says what?
[22:03]That if you help me, I will help you.
[22:05]And one of the ways that I will help you is that
[22:10]I will gift you with unwavering resilience.
[22:14]You'll be unshakable.
[22:16]And I don't know about you brothers and sisters, when I see
[22:20]our our brothers and sisters in Yemen in I see the fulfillment
[22:27]of this promise that you're going to be steadfast and this ayah,
[22:37]you know, if if we fast forward the history of Islam to
[22:42]because what happened over the past couple of months is our community
[22:49]going through a experience.
[22:50]What do I mean by that?
[22:53]You see, in the struggle against injustice, in our pursuit of liberation,
[23:01]we are inevitably going to lose great leaders.
[23:07]We are going to lose inspiring people, people who we see as
[23:15]our backbone.
[23:15]You know, just to give you a little bit of context, if
[23:19]you look at the battle of of something happened in that battle
[23:25]that taught the Muslims a very valuable lesson.
[23:29]You see, in that battle, Abu Sufyan and his cronies, they wanted
[23:36]to get back at the Muslims.
[23:41]They wanted to avenge their dead in bed.
[23:43]So they gathered this massive army.
[23:45]I don't want to go into all of the details, but the
[23:48]battle was so heated that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasall and by
[23:56]the way unlike other leaders whose sons are at in Miami, our
[24:02]leaders were always in the trenches.
[24:05]The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasall in he was in the middle of
[24:14]the battlefield and he was injured.
[24:16]The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasall just the man who led people in
[24:25]prayer.
[24:22]He also led them into battle.
[24:26]And he was so injured the narrations say that his front teeth
[24:31]were broke.
[24:33]They broke his front teeth in the battle.
[24:36]His face was covered in blood.
[24:37]He was surrounded.
[24:40]So much so that the Muslim army thought that the prophet had
[24:46]been killed.
[24:45]You have the likes of, you know, rallying around the prophet.
[24:52]Ali is there, Abu Dari.
[24:53]They're all rallying around the prophet.
[24:56]But you know when there's a battle in the deserts, the dust
[24:59]rises.
[25:00]It's difficult to hear the clamoring of the swords.
[25:06]Someone yells out.
[25:06]The prophet gets hit in the face.
[25:07]He falls into a ditch in Muhammad has been killed.
[25:17]Musb is martyed and there's a moment in that battle where the
[25:26]moraleum So in that in the heat of the moment you have
[25:45]Muslims wondering should we stop because the prophet the prophet was killed.
[25:51]Some of the Muslims are thinking to themselves, should we retreat because
[25:56]if Muhammad has been killed, what's the point of fighting?
[25:59]And some are thinking, should we abandon Islam because the prophet is
[26:05]gone?
[26:07]Some of the companions they stood, for example, he says, "Oh people,
[26:22]Oh people, wake up.
[26:25]If Muhammad has been killed, know that the Lord of Muhammad has
[26:31]not been killed.
[26:36]Fight.
[26:37]Continue fighting for what he was fighting for and die.
[26:44]and die for the same things that he was willing to lay
[26:48]his life down for.
[26:48]Do you know what Allah does in that moment of confusion?
[26:52]He reveals I verse 144 [Music] Allah says Muhammad is nothing but
[27:10]a messenger.
[27:11]The messengers before him had perished.
[27:14]Ibraim is gone.
[27:17]MS is gone.
[27:20]There were messengers before who left this world.
[27:24]If he dies or if he is killed, are you going to
[27:29]turn back on your heels?
[27:30]What is Allah trying to convey?
[27:33]Allah is trying to convey to the believers that the faith of
[27:42]Islam is not linked to a single individual.
[27:44]Allah is rebuking those who think that if the prophet dies, Islam
[27:53]also dies.
[27:52]You can kill the messenger, but you can't kill the message.
[27:57]And we have to remember this in our modern context.
[28:03]Now I want to mention Ali because you can't you can't mention
[28:09]without paying tribute to the most resilient of God's warriors.
[28:16]There's a narration from Imat where he says Bak he says in
[28:36]the battle of he sustained 61 wounds to nurse Ali's wounds.
[28:51]So they come to the prophet, they spend some time with Ali
[28:56]covering up the wounds and they say to the prophet Allah, every
[29:01]time we close a wound, another one opens up and we are
[29:10]afraid for his life.
[29:12]I want you to listen very very carefully to this so we
[29:16]understand who our leaders are and what kind of tradition we come
[29:19]from.
[29:21]They say that we are afraid for Ali's life.
[29:26]The prophet and the companions, they say, "Okay, let's go see him."
[29:34]He was in this tent, a sort of makeshift hospital.
[29:37]The prophet, he enters.
[29:41]The narrations say that when they saw Ali laying in that bed,
[29:46]they say, "We looked at his body.
[29:49]It's as if his entire body was one wound.
[29:54]He was bleeding profusely.
[29:58]Every spot on his body had a cut.
[30:01]So the prophet, the hadith says the prophet, he starts to wipe
[30:12]on the wounds of Ali.
[30:14]And as he's wiping those 61 wounds, the prophet, he says something.
[30:23]He says, the prophet says, "A man who encounters this for the
[30:37]sake of God, they have truly done their best and they have
[30:41]fulfilled their duty.
[30:45]As the prophet is wiping his wounds, the wounds through the touch
[30:51]of Allah, the suspective it wasn't a victory.
[30:54]Ali saw it as a victory.
[30:57]What does he say?
[31:00]He says to the prophet, he says, "Alhamdulillah." Ali says, "Alhamdulillah.
[31:13]I never retreated and I never gave them my back.
[31:20]That is victory.
[31:23]That is the only people who are fighting a genocide in the
[31:33]trenches.
[31:34]The overwhelming majority of them either subscribe to the Islam that was
[31:38]taught by this man or they were influenced by the Islam that
[31:45]was taught by this man.
[31:49]Do I have your permission to continue?
[31:51]Yeah.
[31:52]I'm always waiting for the brave guy to be like just end
[31:57]it.
[32:05]You know, when I look at what's happening in in Lebanon, there's
[32:15]one battle and it's the battle of Kandak, the battle of Aab
[32:23]because it has more than one name.
[32:25]It's called the battle of Kandak in reference to the the trench
[32:28]that was built around mission of forces to fight the prophet.
[32:35]Now what happens here is interesting and it's it resembles what is
[32:45]happening today.
[32:46]Abu Sufyan assembles an army of over 10,000 and he colludes the
[32:55]tribes of Beni is the Bedwin Arabs they all get together and
[33:03]they march towards Medina here after the Hijra Abu Sufyan has had
[33:08]it because this Muhammad and his followers they keep on intercepting our
[33:14]trade caravan.
[33:17]pants, right?
[33:19]So, very very similar to what the Houthies are doing in the
[33:23]in the Red Sea.
[33:23]We've had it with these people.
[33:24]They're disrupting our economy and now we have to crush them.
[33:31]Okay.
[33:32]So, what do they do?
[33:32]10,000.
[33:33]How many fighters does the prophet have?
[33:37]He has about 2,000 coming in and no one is coming out.
[33:41]Some of us may not realize that the battle of lasted for
[33:48]a month.
[33:48]A month the Muslims dug a trench a narrow trench around Medina
[33:57]that was actually believe in their message they are with the people
[34:01]in the trenches and you know you know what I'm I don't
[34:06]need to be explicit you know the references.
[34:08]So the prophet is there.
[34:11]He's digging.
[34:10]And by the way, when you have 10,000 soldiers at the border
[34:17]of your city, no one, they have to sleep in shifts because
[34:21]if you doze off, an enemy is going to breach the trench.
[34:25]Food is the prophet sallallahu alaihi towards the end of the month,
[34:34]he was so malnourished that the narration say You know when have
[34:43]you seen those commercials of those kids when they're malnourished their bellies
[34:48]become bloated right?
[34:48]So they can get bloated from overeating but they can get bloated
[34:50]from being malnourished.
[34:52]One of the things that they used to do in the past
[34:54]is they used to place heavy stones to reduce that bloating.
[35:00]That's how malnourished the prophet was.
[35:03]And now you have in your own backyard, you have one of
[35:10]the Jewish tribes who are conspiring with the enemies.
[35:13]So you have spies in your backyard.
[35:18]You have an army that's 10,000 strong at your border.
[35:21]Your people are being starved.
[35:22]And then what happens?
[35:27]Allah subhana wa ta'ala in Alan ay 173, what does he say?
[35:30]He mentions the messaging of the say, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, guys.
[35:48]We're outnumbered.
[35:50]It's 10,000 versus 2,000.
[35:53]The entire world has gathered against us.
[35:56]Look at their weapons.
[35:58]Look at their artillery.
[36:00]We don't stand the chance.
[36:05]Be afraid of them.
[36:04]Yield.
[36:06]Bow your head.
[36:08]What does Allah say?
[36:14]The only thing that that did was it in it increased their
[36:20]faith because they understood what?
[36:32]They were not intimidated because what is the message?
[36:37]What does Allah say to the believers when they're in difficult situations?
[36:48]Don't feel weak.
[36:52]Do not grieve because you have the upper hand.
[36:55]If you have and one final point, I promise this is the
[37:04]final point.
[37:05]If we want Allah subhana wa ta'ala to help us, we have
[37:11]to stop bickering with each other.
[37:12]We have to stop fighting with each other.
[37:17]Allah subhana wa ta'ala inah surah 8 verse 46 obey Allah and
[37:26]obey his messenger oh Muslims we do not have a system of
[37:30]anarchy there is a chain of command that has to be respected
[37:37]we are not a leaderless People don't fight with each other.
[37:50]Don't dispute.
[37:50]You will lose your strength.
[37:55]Means literally means wind.
[37:55]You will lose your wind because wind is a powerful force.
[37:58]Wind can move things.
[38:01]Wind can create tsunami.
[38:02]If you want to be people of impact, stop fighting each other.
[38:08]be united.
[38:10]And Allah subhana wa ta'ala he says Allah loves those who fight
[38:24]in his way side by side as if they are one united
[38:27]structure.
[38:28]We ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala to bless us and watchings of
[38:37]Muhammadu.
[38:36]Alhamdulillah leader say the Zam we do so we're here with heavy
[38:48]hearts because as you know over there in the Middle East so
[38:50]it's very hard to be joyous.
[38:51]It's very hard to sit here and celebrate.
[38:53]What do mads usually look like?
[38:54]You usually have a reciter here celebrating.
[38:56]You're clapping.
[38:58]Everyone's in a joyful mood giving out sweets.
[39:01]But right now because of what's happening to time than now to
[39:05]connect with a titan of a figure like a Zabam because through
[39:09]the Zabam we learn exactly what it's like to stay steadfast to
[39:18]faith and to hold on to faith even when times are bleak.
[39:26]over the past year, the videos that have been coming out of
[39:30]Palestine, now Lebanon, you've seen the parallels of tents burning, of children
[39:36]killed, and it was in moments like this that remembered Allahh.
[39:41]They say one of the most fascinating stories I always hear is
[39:45]that say Zab never missed and even she the night after imagine
[39:54]among the tents among the massacred bodies she still prayed she still
[40:00]had faith in Allahh as of course as as we know when
[40:04]they asked her what did you see remember this great legend say
[40:07]the Zam and take from her her faith inshallah hope she can
[40:11]instill some of that faith in us with with what we see
[40:13]in Lebanon and Palestine and rocked and swayed by and she was
[40:24]fed not milk but the dust of Kabala Zanab's crib was rocked
[40:33]and swayed by and she was nursed not milk but the dust
[40:36]of carbala her bones were grown to be bones of resilience Much
[40:42]like the skeleton, or be it the Yemen cloak of Casar, even
[40:48]the tents of the markets would yearn to veil her when she
[40:54]would captive in Syria's bazar.
[40:56]Even the tents of the markets would yearn to veil her when
[41:01]she'd walk as a captive in Syria's bazar.
[41:05]She set a descended upon her like revelation.
[41:08]Carbalah descended upon her like revelation.
[41:11]When mountains would crumble, it would not crumble her for revelation to
[41:19]Zab after Hussein.
[41:20]As if there beneath her veil stood and it is far from
[41:24]far-fetched when she is the daughter of the one who the planets
[41:33]themselves rotate for Zah prostrate to a skull.
[41:34]Her shadow was guided by the one whose very birth left upon
[41:41]the Kaa that we prostrate to a scar the veil of and
[41:47]prevented idols from being placed there by kufur.
[41:51]For the blood of her father flows through her veins.
[41:55]The blood of the certainty of only one Allah.
[41:58]Generosity raised her.
[42:00]Perhaps they would meet Ali, while men would see Zah when they'd
[42:07]see her from afar.
[42:08]Up close, women who'd meet her from afar.
[42:16]It may be that she witnessed the door of her house break.
[42:21]But the hand that broke it, he left the same door a
[42:23]jar, and from it she emerged a light that cannot be.
[42:29]Wherever they are, the hand that hurt her mother, broken, left in
[42:35]ruin.
[42:36]While she rises like a phoenix from the smoke of Medina, she
[42:39]set the standard of patience.
[42:40]A standard bell.
[42:44]Her brother, it's as if they were twins.
[42:47]Abbas and Zan.
[42:51]It's as if they were twins.
[42:56]Abu father and Z in a shrine with tattooed arms.
[42:57]And after visiting Hussein, to her would flock lovers.
[43:01]And at night the eyes would be torn between and earth.
[43:07]For around the dome of her shrine, we would see circle fallen
[43:10]stars.
[43:11]But she was not buried there.
[43:12]She was buried in sham.
[43:14]And how much we yearn for?
[43:18]What are our own hardships when compared to hers?
[43:21]What are our own hardships when compared to hers?
[43:24]And yet her motherly care put sits the hearts of Ali Shia.
[43:36]And when we die and we have sins sitting upon our chests
[43:39]and we who mourn Hussein have no other helperity shall be for
[43:50]us poor souls our interceder and savior inshallah.
[43:54]Z bint Ali the queen of calamity shall be for us poor
[43:58]souls our interceded
