[2:05]name of the almighty God the compassionate the merciful the one who

[2:14]has created everything in utmost Perfection and May the peace and blessings

[2:19]of the almighty God be upon his pure and beloved messenger the

[2:25]peak of his creation the symbol of humanity the holy prophet Muhammed

[2:38]s and his Immaculate progeny of the B peace be upon them

[2:45]especially the leader of our time the awaited Savior may Allah hasten

[2:53]his reappearance and make us all amongst the sincere and dedicated servants

[2:59]respected brothers and sister [Music] sisters Allah subhah wa ta'ala states in

[3:07]the Holy Quran in verse 96 if the people of the cities

[3:26]and The Villages would believe and show piety be conscious of Allah

[3:34]what would have happened if people would have accepted the guidance from

[3:39]Allah and followed the instructions of the messenger of Allah what would

[3:43]have happened we would have opened on them the door of blessings

[3:53]from the heavens and the Earth lady f c this verse when

[4:03]she visited the woman of the ansar in Medina the ansar were

[4:08]the residents of Medina who supported the prophet sallallah alai Al who

[4:15]invited him to come to their City lady faam was extremely Disturbed

[4:21]when she realized that they had abandoned so she took it upon

[4:32]herself to go to their homes one by one to rebuke them

[4:35]why have you abandoned the IM whom God assigned for you she

[4:42]gave a beautiful powerful sermon in that sermon she said if you

[4:47]would have let AB Rule and show you the path of guidance

[4:50]Allah would have drowned you with blessings there is no leader better

[4:57]than why are your husbands betraying him and not supporting him then

[5:04]she quotes this verse in if you believe Allah subhah wa tala

[5:17]would make this world an oasis of peace tonight as we have

[5:24]gathered to commemorate the legacy of we wonder how the world would

[5:30]have looked like had he ruled Allah subhana tala could have imposed

[5:35]the rulership of Imam Ali on people but Allah wants to try

[5:41]us Allah has given us the intellect Allah wanted this umah willingly

[5:46]to accept this leader but because of this Dunya because of materialism

[5:53]because of jealousy people did not follow the leader whom Allah subhana

[6:00]wa tala appointed for for them and Allah basically told Humanity okay

[6:05]that's fine you want to kill alali you reject alali let's see

[6:09]what's going to happen to your um for 14 centuries but we

[6:17]do wonder if im would have ruled in this area how would

[6:21]things be different than we are seeing today now I am in

[6:28]no position to speak on behalf of or to impose my opinion

[6:33]of how his government would look like if he were to rule

[6:37]in this Century but based on my understanding of his legacy and

[6:42]when I examine his governance we can see a rough picture of

[6:47]how the world would look like under his leadership and in order

[6:54]for us to visualize that we first have to see what's wrong

[6:57]with our world today cuz the there are some people out there

[7:03]who really don't know what's wrong with this world that's because as

[7:05]long as I have my job as long as I have my

[7:11]house my family the economy is doing well I have a nice

[7:15]couch at night I can recline on when I'm watching my favorite

[7:18]Netflix series I don't care about the world I don't think there's

[7:23]a problem in the world some people do not feel the seriousness

[7:26]of the calamities and tragedies that are befalling the this world so

[7:32]how would the world be different under the leadership of today when

[7:39]we examine our political system one of the biggest flaws and problems

[7:44]that we find in our political system is the modern form of

[7:50]bribery under the guise of campaign donations and contributions today there are

[8:01]many politicians in our country who know the H they know the

[8:04]truth they know who's suffering and who's not suffering they're not ignorant

[8:09]they're pretty educated and no they do have Humanity they can see

[8:13]human suffering they're not robots without emotions but the reason why they

[8:17]consistently side with the oppressor and they betray the oppressed and they

[8:24]fuel the fire of Injustice is because of the powerful lobbies that

[8:30]we have in our country and how do our lobbies impose their

[8:36]agenda on the politicians through money through bribery I know under us

[8:43]law bribery is banned it's illegal to bribe someone but there is

[8:48]another type of bribery that's perfectly legal it's perfectly legitimate according to

[8:55]the law but in reality it's the same bribery it gets the

[8:58]same thing done it's called campaign aign contributions go and contribute to

[9:03]these campaigns and you'll enslave those politicians you'll buy them today the

[9:09]highest offices in America can be bought with money those powerful lobbies

[9:14]who have the money they can buy them that's the reality that

[9:17]we are seeing in America today and in nearly every single country

[9:20]on Earth today I will share with you one example to demonstrate

[9:26]to you how the lobbies dictate to our politicians what they should

[9:32]do and how they should act for instance we find that many

[9:37]senators and Congress people today supporting Israel's war on Gaza and they

[9:46]blindly are defending Israel do you know why you think because they're

[9:52]blind to Injustice they don't know they don't see the images of

[9:56]children and women being massacred in Gaza oh they see it very

[9:59]well so what's their problem what's the matter with them I'll tell

[10:04]you what the problem is with them in the last elections those

[10:08]politicians who are now blindly defending Israel on average they received $125,000

[10:17]from the Israeli Lobby how much on average $125,000 now those politicians

[10:25]who are now supportive of the Palestinian cause they are defending those

[10:32]women and children who are being massacred in Gaza they have empathy

[10:38]towards the suffering of Palestinians those politicians received in the last elections

[10:45]from the Israeli Lobby they received $18,000 you see the difference on

[10:53]the one hand you have $125,000 on the other hand you have

[10:56]an average of $18,000 what is the effect of these numbers the

[11:00]consequences of that is that those who received $125,000 right now they're

[11:08]blindly supporting Israel and those who didn't they are opposing the Injustice

[11:13]of Israel you see what money does money buys your conscience and

[11:15]your heart and your mind and your dean and your religion that's

[11:20]what money does and therefore today my dear brothers and sisters one

[11:25]of the biggest challenges that we have in our country in our

[11:28]society is the plague and the disease of campaign contributions and that's

[11:35]why you'll find most congressmen and congresswomen look at most Senators most

[11:41]senators are millionaires some of them have hundreds of millions of dollars

[11:46]isn't that strange aren't people in Congress supposed to represent their people

[11:51]in their constituents is the average Joe today A Millionaire who are

[11:55]these Senators representing really when most of them are millionaires who are

[11:59]they representing they're not representing the average Joe because the average Joe

[12:05]is not a millionaire this is one of the ills of our

[12:09]modern political system now come to and the political structure of you

[12:16]think there were no attempts during the time of IM aliam to

[12:21]bribe him even in the name of gifts campaign contributions you name

[12:24]it there were many attempts to bribe Alam there were many powerful

[12:34]lobbies who tried their best but no political ruler in history resisted

[12:39]bribery under any label like the IM himself States this in in

[12:47]one of those powerful sermons The IM begins to make it very

[12:54]clear that will never commit Injustice no matter what and then he

[12:58]States very beautifully Allah what a powerful statement from the Imam the

[13:11]Imam says I would rather sleep on the Thorns of the desert

[13:17]imagine sleeping on the Thorns of the desert who can handle that

[13:23]the Imam says I would prefer that or chain me up and

[13:32]drag me with those chains I prefer all of that I would

[13:42]rather go through that pain and suffering than to meet Allah and

[13:46]the messenger of Allah on the day of judgment while I have

[13:49]oppressed some people or for me to embezzle confiscate steal some of

[13:57]the of this D some of the worthless objects of this dun

[14:03]I would never allow that to happen and then the Imam gives

[14:07]us his reasoning the Imam says don't think I'm being illogical I'm

[14:10]being perfectly logical is it worth it for me the Imam is

[14:23]asking you all a question a serious genuine question the Imam is

[14:31]asking is it really worth it for me to oppress and commit

[14:34]Injustice for a nefs that's going to be stuck in the grave

[14:40]for a long time for a body that's going to in disintegrate

[14:43]in the grave is it worth it the IM is asking me

[14:48]and you a question is it worth it for us to oppress

[14:53]when the fate of this body is going to be the grave

[14:55]then the Imam gives us an example of a bribery attempt that

[16:53]was made and baked with the saliva of a snake that's if

[16:57]you bring him the finest sweets but if you're trying to bribe

[17:03]him sway him put the pressure of Allah Beyond him the Imam

[17:07]says it's disgusting for me I feel like this is made from

[17:11]the saliva of a snake and then the Imam confronts him the

[17:14]IM tells him what is this is this zakat that you're giving

[17:20]me is this don't you know this is for us the to

[17:25]take what are you giving me he tells him no no this

[17:34]is not any it's just my pure money it's a it's a

[17:39]gift the IM rebukes him he tells him are you crazy are

[17:45]you out of your mind you're trying to deceive me you're trying

[17:52]to steal my religion by bribing me then the Imam made his

[17:59]powerful statement that rever Ates in our ears throughout history I swear

[18:14]by Allah if you give me the galaxies and the Seven heavens

[18:19]and everything that they contain for me to disobey Allah in an

[18:24]ant not by killing it no by taking its food from its

[18:29]mouth even this small minuscule level of Injustice I am not willing

[18:34]to do I swear I would not do that what's the point

[18:42]why would Ali go towards something that's so temporal something that's so

[18:46]temporary in this world never this is the solution that IM would

[18:52]bring to the world today no bribery no campaign contributions work for

[18:57]Allah and for your Society work for people that Average Joe in

[19:02]the community work for them advocate for their cause bring them Justice

[19:05]you have donations you've got a lot of money donate to the

[19:07]poor donate to Charities don't come and donate to the politicians and

[19:14]their campaigns and that's what Americans do Unfortunately they make the politicians

[19:17]richer and richer when some families are getting poorer and poorer look

[19:23]at the system how they've been deceived and fooled when Trump was

[19:28]President my dear brother brothers and sisters do you know how much

[19:32]Americans from their tax money hard-earned tax money you know how much

[19:37]they spent on him so he can go golfing just his golf

[19:43]trips do you know how much Americans spent do you have an

[19:46]idea can you guess it's far more than you can imagine Americans

[19:53]spent on their president so he can enjoy his golfing during his

[19:58]pres presidency $ 141 million do just on one weekend in 2018

[20:08]he went to Scotland for golfing the government spent on him $900,000

[20:13]almost a million dollar two days that's the world that we're living

[20:18]in today and then come to one day a man seeks an

[20:26]appointment from him I need to see you the IM gives him

[20:27]the time let me see what do you want so when he

[20:32]sits it was evening it was dark now there was a candle

[20:39]next to Amir the IM asks this man can I ask you

[21:41]matter we cannot use the candle that's that's what the world needs

[21:48]today honestly go to the 200 countries of the world today have

[21:50]you ever seen a government running like that all governments know how

[21:55]to do is squander the resources of their people millions of dollars

[22:00]on their entourages and their High living standards and the best Services

[22:04]they'll go a weekend to a hotel in those pet houses and

[22:09]spend millions and hundreds of millions of dollars today the world needs

[22:14]a leader like Ali who restores the humanity who rejects the financial

[22:21]Corruption of most politicians around the world that's one thing that the

[22:29]world needs today my dear brothers and sisters and this problem is

[22:33]not only amongst the political Elites today if you come to some

[22:37]religious groups and I'm not here to judge anyone my dear brothers

[22:42]and sisters but look let's look at the reality of America today

[22:46]today you will find many influential evangelicals today if Christian evangelicals are

[22:52]very influential in modern politics they play a role in who's going

[22:56]to be elected as president and you have some of these Evangel

[22:59]they're the most supportive of Israel and anything that Israel does even

[23:04]if they Massacre a billion people they don't care that's their philosophy

[23:06]that's their agenda support the Jewish state so that Jesus comes they

[23:13]blindly believe in this Ideology Now when you look at some of

[23:17]these Evangelical leaders and again I'm not here to judge anyone or

[23:22]to put any religion down we have many Christians who are decent

[23:26]who are truly our brothers in humanity but look at some of

[23:32]the Evangelical Christian leaders today they are the furthest away from the

[23:37]teachings of prophet Isa when you see them you see everything but

[23:42]Jesus in their life their life is full of materialism and greed

[23:46]and money and power and richness and wealth nothing in their life

[23:52]points you to the character of Jesus or the humbleness of Jesus

[23:57]one of those pastor ERS was raising funds to buy a private

[24:03]jet you know some of them did that they pulled it off

[24:05]they raised $54 million to buy a private jet one of them

[24:12]was asked how do you justify that how would Jesus accept this

[24:15]you know what one of them said one very very influential Evangelical

[24:21]Pastor in the United States Kenneth Co planned you know what he

[24:29]said he said yes I need a private jet because I don't

[24:31]want to go in that long tube with a bunch of demons

[24:36]meaning the airplane long tube there are people who don't believe in

[24:40]Jesus on the airplane I don't want to fly with devils and

[24:46]demons who don't believe in the Lord so I need my private

[24:48]jet can you believe that and there are millions of Americans who

[24:55]buy into that they donated $54 million so that some of these

[24:58]Evangelical leaders can have their private jets that's the world that we're

[25:02]living in today another pastor had even a more interesting justification as

[25:09]to why he needed a private jet he said when the plane

[25:13]is taking off I need to stand in prayer but these lousy

[25:20]commercial airlines don't let you stand because you have to fasten your

[25:23]seat belt so I need a private jet so that when the

[25:28]plane is taking off I can stand and pray can you imagine

[25:31]that's the world that we're living in today the world of today

[25:38]needs a leader like Jesus and a leader like that's what the

[25:45]world is missing today this is how they live and now come

[25:48]to the era of IM Ali I want to give you a

[25:55]glimpse of an incident that happened in kufa I want you to

[25:58]never forget this incident my dear brothers and sisters because on this

[26:02]night you're commemorating your Imam one day a bin who was traveling

[26:08]he went to the city of kufa he was hungry after a

[26:14]long journey so his first stop was Masjid kufa in the Masjid

[26:17]you meet all types of people maybe somebody can help you out

[26:20]he meets an elderly man in the Masjid of kufa a middle-aged

[26:26]old man and he tells him I'm hungry can you give me

[26:29]some food to eat pleasee he says that old man took out

[26:35]some very humble frugal food and he gave it to me and

[26:41]he told me I apologize this is the only food that I

[26:44]have to give you I don't have any other food in fact

[26:49]this is my food but I'm giving it to you eat it

[26:50]he took it he said I tried to eat that food I

[26:56]was unable to eat the food was so hard and dry coarse

[27:04]I couldn't eat it but I felt embarrassed to give it back

[27:07]to him so I just kept it with me I held it

[27:11]in my sleeve he says I left the Masjid but I'm still

[27:14]hungry I can't eat that food so I asked around is there

[27:19]any generous family here that gives food to those who are travelers

[27:22]to those who are strangers I was told yes there is a

[27:26]house in kufa that is very G if you're ever hungry go

[27:32]to that house I asked whose house is that they told me

[27:34]that is the house of Hassan and Hussein go to their house

[27:41]they'll feed you the man says I went to the house of

[27:43]Imam Hassan and Hussein and I told them I'm hungry I need

[27:47]some food they gave me the best most delicious food he loved

[27:53]the food it was full of Baraka simple food nothing fancy out

[27:59]of the ordinary but it was good food when the man was

[28:04]about to leave he tried to take away with him some more

[28:08]food IM alassan noticed that this man is taking some more food

[28:17]with him the Imam asked him oh man I noticed that you're

[28:20]carrying more food with you can you tell me why did you

[28:24]not get full if you're still hungry we'll feed you do you

[28:26]have some family members we'll send them them food but can you

[28:31]just tell me why you're carrying this extra food the man kind

[28:34]of felt embarrassed because he's sneaking out more food he told him

[28:37]oh Hassan this food is not for me I'm full you gave

[28:43]me the best food but I'm taking this food to an old

[28:49]man that I met in M kufa I asked him for food

[28:53]he donated to me his own food but I couldn't eat his

[28:56]food because it was so low quality coarse dry bread that I

[28:59]couldn't eat now when I saw the good food that you have

[29:05]I want to take this food to that man Imam Hassan asks

[29:12]him did you recognize who that man was he said no I

[29:17]didn't recognize him first time I come to kufa I don't know

[29:19]who he is IM alassan told him that man is our father

[29:25]Al Theif of the Muslims that's the world today needs a leader

[29:41]like to restore the world to humanity to human values to humbleness

[29:49]now some people might think this is Extreme why don't you eat

[29:53]just normal bread the Imam was at another level the IM was

[29:57]a leader at this time he was a political leader the Khalifa

[29:59]The IM wanted to make it very clear to the world that

[30:04]if there is any poor person in my government who eats dry

[30:06]bread I will eat like that person because that's how you know

[30:10]this is a true leader fake leaders they come to power they've

[30:14]got nothing they be they leave as millionaires the Imam is telling

[30:19]us these politicians will destroy your life and society and world that's

[30:23]why the Imam went to this extreme to send a powerful message

[30:30]and he knows that we can't do that the IM States I

[30:33]know that you're not able to live like me help me out

[30:39]10% you can be like Ali be 10% Like Him 20% 30%

[30:44]try at least is the world today trying that's the legacy of

[30:50]so we find that the Imam in his rejection of briberies in

[30:56]his rejection of the use of government funds he would live in

[31:04]our era today and guide the world to Bliss and prosperity by

[31:09]saving the resources of the people for the people that's one thing

[31:15]that that would be different that would we see in the government

[31:19]of another beautiful feature and dimension of the government of the Imam

[31:24]that we would see today which unfortunately does not exist in most

[31:27]most Muslim countries is the freedom of expression that the Imam gave

[31:36]to his people even to his enemies today in many parts of

[31:39]the Muslim world if you say the slightest word against the Khalifa

[31:46]The Sultan the ruler you name it the king you're dead meat

[31:48]you're in trouble you're imprisoned there are people in some Muslim countries

[31:53]today one single tweet one single tweet criticizing the policy of the

[31:59]ruler or the son of the ruler they're dead it's gone their

[32:04]career is over they're in jail today 2024 that's the reality of

[32:08]many of these Muslim countries come to the era of and see

[32:13]how he gave people in his Society the freedom to express themselves

[32:18]even though they were his enemies one day the Imam was praying

[32:25]the morning prayer Jama in the Masjid in kufa was one of

[32:29]the he was a hypocrite who hated he was praying behind the

[32:37]IM not for the Baraka of the prayer but to be disruptive

[32:39]you know what he did as the Imam started his Salah this

[32:49]evil man he started to recite this verse very loudly he basically

[33:02]read out loud in the middle of Salah imagine you're praying Jama

[33:06]in the Masjid and the Imam is reciting and then one of

[33:09]the people in the Salah he starts yelling with this verse basically

[33:13]saying to the Imam that if you commit sh Allah will destroy

[33:18]your deeds and you'll be a loser that's the verse in the

[33:22]Holy Quran about the pagans he was trying to apply this to

[33:26]IM Ali now Imam Ali Alam when he realized this man is

[33:29]reading this verse out of respect for the Quran the Imam kept

[33:31]quiet he did not continue his recitation when stopped the Imam resumed

[33:38]again he read the verse for the second time loudly he did

[33:44]that three times after the third time the Imam responded to him

[33:48]by reciting the following verse in the Quran because when you're in

[33:52]your Salah by the way anytime you can recite a verse from

[33:54]the Quran that does not invalidate your prayer so the Imam responded

[33:57]to him and the IM kept him quiet by saying this [Music]

[34:08]verse be patient the promise of Allah is true and don't let

[34:13]those who have no em and no certainty and no faith to

[34:18]take you lightly and to weaken your faith and that's how the

[34:23]Imam quieted him now imagine if today one of these rulers kings

[34:26]in the Muslim world is leading Jama and somebody does that from

[34:30]behind that's the last day of their lives in that country but

[34:35]the IM after the Salah he took no action he did not

[34:38]punish him he did not imprison him he didn't do anything that's

[34:42]the tolerance of that's something that the Muslim world needs today another

[34:48]striking example of the freedom of expression and the tolerance of is

[34:54]that one day the IM mobilized his companions to go from kufa

[35:00]to Mad Mad is in Iraq that's where Salman al- muhammadi is

[35:03]buried and where he was the governor for some time there was

[35:09]a group of Hypocrites and seven of his friends these eight men

[35:16]they're like let's not go with Ali we don't want to go

[35:19]with Ali let's go later so it was on a Wednesday that

[35:26]they decided they will travel slowly to mad just because they did

[35:29]not want to be with the Caravan of Subhan Allah today we

[35:35]wish we wish we could touch the dust that Imam Ali would

[35:38]walk on and there were evil Hypocrites like that who would try

[35:45]to avoid seeing Ali because the Quran says they hate the truth

[35:49]and IM is the symbol of Truth one of the good Companions

[35:58]of IM Ali he narrated this incident so he says these eight

[36:01]guys these eight Hypocrites in the middle of the desert they're like

[36:04]let's go a couple of days late it's a Wednesday let's get

[36:09]there on Friday in the middle of the desert they get hungry

[36:12]so have you seen like in documentaries those big desert lizards they

[36:18]hunted one of them and they started to eat it of course

[36:24]in the school of that's not a Halal animal but do eat

[36:27]that in any case they hunted the lizard they cooked the lizard

[36:35]and then he took his hands and he held the hand of

[36:38]the dead lizard and he said I now pledge you Allegiance you're

[36:44]my IM he was trying to make fun of who that IM

[36:49]Ali is not my IM the lizard is my IM now and

[36:54]his friends cracked up they're laughing on Friday at noon at the

[37:03]time of they enter M IMI is on the pulpit and they

[37:05]would make fun of Imam Ali Ali he thinks he knows everything

[37:09]he has he thinks he has the knowledge of the Unseen as

[37:12]soon as they enter the mid the narrator of this incident he

[37:27]he said the prophet Sall has opened for me 1,000 doors of

[37:32]knowledge meaning you try to doubt my knowledge of the Unseen my

[37:38]knowledge is from the prophet sallallahu alai then the IM recited this

[37:43]verse on the day of judgment we'll call every group of people

[37:48]with their IM whom they followed and I see there are eight

[37:50]people in our gathering today and if I want I could name

[37:56]them by name and expose them these eight people on the day

[37:59]of judgment Allah will resurrect them with a lizard because he's their

[38:06]Imam says I looked at he lowered his head he wished that

[38:12]the ground would split open and conceal him when he saw the

[38:18]Imam saying that to him the Imam asked again do you want

[38:22]me to expose your names but he didn't because that's now imagine

[38:28]if someone does this in one of these Muslim countries he goes

[38:30]and he's stands by a lizard and he says you're my king

[38:34]from now on and he puts that on Tik talk you think

[38:39]they could survive like that was the symbol of Tolerance even his

[38:44]enemies who would treat him that way the IM was very tolerant

[38:49]but you know what was the secret of how did the IM

[38:54]Reach This stage yes he's infallible yes he's chosen by Allah but

[40:01]Le would you lose sleep over it the Imam says this whole

[42:05]want one too we've become extremely materialistic it's okay to spend my

[42:09]dear brothers and sisters Allah has given you wealth enjoy it but

[42:12]don't become materialistic such that this wealth captivates your heart today our

[42:18]economy is based on the trend to go and buy and seek

[42:23]happiness from buying that's what the economy has done these big corporations

[42:29]all they want you is to spend you know one of the

[42:34]very ironic principles and phenomena that we have in our time is

[42:37]what is that when you're bored you go to the mall have

[42:42]you ever thought about that your ancestors if they could see you

[42:46]from 200 years ago they would not know whether to cry or

[42:51]laugh you're going shopping because you're bored no people in history before

[42:57]our era none of your ancestors ever went shopping because they were

[43:03]bored you'd go shopping because you need something today in our AR

[44:01]attics to your drawers whatever you wherever you st you store your

[44:06]stuff and declutter your room I guarantee you you will have a

[48:43]take your hearts to the house of on the final night of

[48:49]his [Music] life the Imam on such a night he's in pain

[53:18]of the orphans you're breathing your final words and you think of

[53:24]the orphans what a Compassionate Heart do you have Allah Allah this

[53:38]make sure that you Muslims are the first to implement the Quran

[53:41]make sure others don't implement the Quran before you do be mindful

[53:52]of Allah with your neighbors because they are the will of your

[53:56]Prophet take care of your neighbors Allah be mindful of Allah with

[54:09]your Salah it's the pillar of your faith these are the final

[54:15]words of as the IM continued he said oh Muslims oh Believers

[54:24]take care of my family treat Hassan and Hussein good treat Z

[54:28]well I know in those final moments your heart was with Z

[54:34]because you knew what would be happening to Zab yes oh Believers

[54:39]we're getting closer to the tragedy now the IM is losing more

[54:45]and more energy Zab is sitting by his side she notices that

[54:51]the Imam is sweating on the two sides of his forehead she

[59:49]and veins we are the sh of the love of the Prophet
