[2:03]for [Music] [Music] [Music] over the past almost two weeks we have

[2:52]been discussing some quranic attributes about those who have the intellect and

[3:01]we discussed how many attributes 21 good job masallah well done and

[3:10]what was the acronym that we combined these 21 attributes mashallah rare

[3:20]at Perfection grade now let's see how many of you know what

[3:25]the acronym actually stands for so rare at Perfection grade what does

[3:32]the r stand for reminded mashallah girls you know mashallah they're boys

[3:38]you know they're getting ahead of you reminded that's the r what's

[3:46]the A stand for Allah is always remembered they always remember Allah

[3:53]subhanahu wa taala that first one they are reminded comes from many

[3:58]ayat one of them is the one we just recited only those

[4:06]who have the intellect are reminded they benefit from the reminder they

[4:13]benefit from this reminder and then Allah is always remembered that one

[4:18]comes from which Surah do you remember what Surah did we discuss

[4:21]that had several attributes of those who are before before you're right

[4:29]that came later okay good you saved them a little bit now

[4:36]you got some points here okay towards the end where Allah subhah

[4:41]wa taala says indeed in the creation of the heavens and the

[4:58]earth and the change of the night and the day are signs

[5:03]for who those who have the intellect so Allah and then what

[5:09]is the first attribute those who remember Allah standing sitting down and

[5:21]and on when they're lying down so Allah is always remembered okay

[5:27]now the ayat continue when the they do all this what do

[5:32]they do what is the r reflect they reflect they're constantly thinking

[5:42]they're constantly reflecting okay so that's the r and then then what

[5:52]do they do what is the E ethos is Dua their ethos

[5:57]is Dua their attribute their action the characteristic is Dua because in

[6:03]these ay of how many times do they say our Lord who

[6:09]remembers five five times good now we got another Point here masallah

[6:13]it's like you know almost like 10 to alhamdulillah you know you

[6:19]know so five times they say they reflect about the creation of

[6:28]the heavens and the Earth Earth and then when they reflect they

[6:33]come to the conclusion they say our Lord you did not create

[6:42]all this in vanity glorified be you so save us from the

[6:47]Hellfire Allah there is a purpose why you created all this creation

[6:55]Allah did not do all this creation and all this magnificence of

[6:58]Allah subhanahu wa tala just because God forbid he was bored for

[7:03]example he had nothing to do no Allah says in another Ayah

[7:10]in the Quran do they think we created them in vanity with

[7:14]no purpose there is a purpose there is a reason why we

[7:19]created you although in our series we did not discuss about the

[7:23]reasons of the creation but one of the reasons for the creation

[7:28]is I didn't create the the human and the Jin and the

[7:36]ins the human but to worship me one purpose of our existence

[7:40]is so these guys who have who have reflection they come to

[7:47]this conclusion and that's they turn to Allah in Dua the E

[7:50]for ethos in Dua so brothers and sisters it's important to realize

[7:56]and understand these Concepts here that we are reviewing there is a

[8:01]purpose why Allah created us one of them is another one I

[8:04]told you Allah says the pleasure of Allah is even greater than

[8:14]J itself attaining J if you remember when we discussed this so

[8:18]we have to always ask ourselves whatever I am doing right now

[8:24]is it in the pleasure of Allah or not if it's yes

[8:27]great let me do it if not let me stop the way

[8:34]I dress the morning before I leave home in the morning or

[8:37]whenever I leave home am I dressed the way that when my

[8:43]Imam looks at me he's pleased with me when Allah sees me

[8:45]he's pleased with me my hijab my attribute my attire my pants

[8:53]my trousers etc etc what am I doing here the way I

[8:58]talk is it the way that Allah's pleased with or should I

[9:00]change my way of talking my attitude etc etc so the E

[9:09]is ethos for Dua now once they did the five times inah

[9:16]there comes an Ayah which gives us the a so that's rare

[9:22]r a r e rare is the ethos okay and now a

[9:28]is what what's the a answer answered prayer Allah answered indeed when

[9:36]you constantly turn to Allah subhanahu waala Allah will answer you inshallah

[9:43]okay so that's the a then then from here onward we switch

[9:47]to another Surah and that is has lots of attributes as well

[9:53]of and we started with the T which is what train to

[10:01]gain train to gain what sorry this is not my apologies I

[10:07]take that back that's from Surah y indeed this is the last

[10:19]Ayah ofah Yu in their stories are lessons for who they train

[10:24]themselves to gain to gain from this and we'll come to this

[10:28]inshallah shortly okay so train to gain they train themselves to gain

[10:35]from what they listen to from what they observe that's a wise

[10:38]man that's an intellectual person who observes and learns lessons so that

[10:46]he does not repeat the same mistakes that his predecessors made or

[10:51]the mistakes that he himself made okay train to gain now we

[10:55]are rare at from Perfection yes now we go to Surah Perfection

[11:01]and the two letters of G and R of grade so the

[11:08]p and Perfection is what promises they fulfill the promise of Allah

[11:16]the E Perfection what is it they're essential to their Covenant they

[11:27]give they G made a Covenant so they're essential to their Covenant

[11:31]and they hold on to it they stick to it they abide

[11:37]by their Covenant good and if you remember we said this Ayah

[11:40]generally speaking it means that when you make a promise you got

[11:46]to fulfill your promise generally speaking whenever you make a promise to

[11:49]someone make sure you fulfill the promise this also applies to the

[11:53]parents by the way when your child comes to you and asks

[11:55]you for something and you tell him inshallah I will get it

[12:00]for for you or I will take you there or I'll do

[12:04]this for you make sure to the best of your ability you

[12:07]mean it otherwise what's going to happen he's going to come at

[12:10]you a week later or a few days later and say baba

[12:15]mama what happened you promised me say no inshallah inshallah he will

[12:20]learn that you do not fulfill your promise and then he will

[12:28]develop this habit he will sub consciously develop this habit that's why

[12:35]of our ability we fulfill and if we some circumstances arise we

[12:41]explain to them you know I wanted to do this but it

[12:43]didn't happen because of this this this otherwise we really wanted to

[12:47]do this so then they understand you really want we're genuine in

[12:51]their in your promise so that's generally speaking promise but what was

[12:55]the hidden meaning of the promise and the Covenant here brothers and

[12:58]sisters do you remember what are the am what are the trusts

[14:12]the Quran but in a hidden way all right so so that

[14:16]is now the a reaching out to the kin then we come

[14:21]to the F in Perfection what does the f stand for fear

[14:25]they fear their lord and then e what is e Excel or

[14:33]Excellence at worship they excel at worshiping Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala all those

[14:44]who have fear Allah subhanahu waala so then indeed they fear Allah

[14:49]they have okay so that's the Excel what does the C stand

[14:56]for Friends caution caution they fear they're cautious about having bad judgment

[15:06]bad judgment their deeds are bad so Allah will judge them but

[15:10]because they're they say well how could they have bad Deeds they're

[15:16]not worried sometimes about their bad Deeds one time they are worried

[15:19]that whatever Deeds they're afraid that whatever Deeds I have done they're

[15:23]all bad so they're worried they're worried my Deeds are bad although

[15:26]they're they have but they're worried how do I know my Salat

[15:33]will be accepted how do I know my fast will be accept

[15:35]they're they're cautious they're worried about the judgment and they're worried about

[15:40]the details in the Judgment they open up the books and they

[15:47]say let's go you became or on so and so date at

[15:52]this from this date let's go day by day mashallah every single

[15:57]day imagine imagine how many days have you lived since you were

[16:02]or for example you live till the age of 70 and you

[16:06]became at the age of for example 15 between 170 and 15

[16:11]how many years don't scare me guys 55 years yeah yeah alhamdulillah

[16:19]that's good 55 years imagine each year has 365 days multiply 365

[16:28]by 55 oo every single day they say let's go over day

[16:34]by day imagine the Judgment it will take so long that's why

[16:39]there is an Ayah there is an Ayah one day is equivalent

[16:42]to 50,000 years one day is equivalent to how many years 50,000

[16:52]years according to a there are 50 checkpoints in the m in

[16:59]the day of judgment 50 checkpoints at each checkpoint let's do the

[17:04]math 50,000 years 50 checkpoints so how many years at every checkpoint

[17:10]don't scare me boys 1,000 1,000 years at every checkpoint 50 checkpoint

[17:18]50,000 years now these are the years of the not necessarily years

[17:22]of dun for example just to give you perspective one year on

[17:28]Earth is not the same as one year on Mars Mars has

[17:34]a different Year from us one year on Mars is different from

[17:37]a year on Jupiter for example the years are different a year

[17:40]in Earth is different from a light year that's different so in

[17:47]the the years are also different Allah God knows how many is

[17:51]a year in the well find out when we get there okay

[17:55]so they're cautious because imagine if they go over every that's why

[18:01]brothers and sisters I tell you constantly do and let's make sure

[18:06]we're always in The Obedience of Allah subh waala because it's not

[18:10]worth it okay I don't wear hijab in D for a few

[19:05]100 years and then what face the consequence is it worth it

[19:09]so let's be wise intellectual okay cautious T what's the T stand

[19:18]for in Perfection trained in patience mallah they have they have patience

[19:26]indeed they're patient okay then what's the I stand for they initiate

[19:31]prayers they establish Sal good and what does the o stand for

[19:39]they're open to spendings and they spend of what we have given

[19:44]them so far so good guys all right what does the n

[19:53]stand for they negate evil with what good deeds they gate the

[20:00]bad Deeds with good deeds they keep away the bad Deeds because

[20:03]they constantly do good or if they commit a sin then the

[20:10]good deeds will delete erase those bad Deeds all right and what

[20:14]does the G stand for they gain Paradise gain Paradise Allah subhah

[20:19]wa ta'ala says those people will go to Jenna they go J

[20:24]masallah and there's also glad tidings as well Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[20:29]says give good news to my servants who are my servants what

[20:37]attributes Allah gives those who listen to the talk and they follow

[20:49]the best of it those are the ones whom Allah has guided

[20:53]and those are the intellectual ones those who have an intellect so

[20:56]Allah says good news Bash give good news to my servants all

[21:03]right so they gain paradise and what's the AR regards from the

[21:06]Angels Mal they enter to them from all the gates of J

[21:11]and what do they say brothers and sisters this is listen to

[21:16]this if the angel sayum I get surprised sometimes when some of

[21:22]the kids they come say hello what hello you know we are

[21:27]angels say say and then when he says what's the answer what's

[21:33]the reply this is how we go about it sometimes some students

[21:40]some children they go home they after school they come they walk

[21:43]in and then mallah they go to their bedroom and half an

[21:47]hour later the mother or the father come oh you're here yeah

[21:51]I've been here for half an hour say say say something what

[21:59]what is this so if the Angel say in imagine how important

[22:03]is this Salam in J it's used so we need to do

[22:09]it inshallah all this comes from and the attributes in this Perfection

[22:14]and the G and the r of grade now that leaves us

[22:19]with the last three attributes that we discussed yesterday the a what

[22:24]does it stand for act with perfection upon listening to the best

[22:29]of the talk talk they listen and they follow the best of

[22:35]the talk be wise when you listen to people talking don't just

[22:39]follow the trends oh okay let's you know do this and everyone

[22:42]just follows the trend use your does this work for me or

[22:47]not you know sometimes brothers and sisters I read books about how

[22:51]to be successful or how to make good money or sometimes there

[22:55]are these videos what are the for example five main characteristics of

[22:59]successful people okay I I read them sometimes you know just for

[23:07]information and for example one of them says it's important to wake

[23:09]up at like you know for example early in the morning you

[23:12]know I wake up early in the morning at like 6:00 or

[23:15]5:00 I say okay mallah I drink a glass of water I

[23:20]meditate I whatever I say this guy probably does not have a

[23:23]child a baby who's screaming the whole night you know screaming the

[23:27]whole night and hence he he wakes up at 5:00 yeah because

[23:31]he's got no responsibilities in that sense so if you have a

[23:35]baby for example in the house you have a newborn and a

[23:40]newborn is crying crying and you say well I can't wake up

[23:42]at 5:00 in the morning because I woke up like 10 times

[23:45]at night I I I need to wake up at like you

[23:49]know 9:00 in the morning so I'm not going to be successful

[23:52]no whatever he's doing applies to him it works for him you

[23:59]know what the S the the proper title was this is what

[24:01]made so and so successful these characteristic these habits made him because

[24:07]it worked for him for us for me maybe something completely different

[24:15]his body may only need 6 hours of sleep some people need

[24:17]9 hours of sleep so that they have the full energy so

[24:50]because your children are different give your child what he needs so

[24:57]that he can become successful yes everyone can become successful masallah now

[25:03]as a principle we see this some students mallah they are not

[25:09]good in math or science they're not made for Math and Science

[25:12]but give them a paint brush and Subhan Allah they'll make you

[25:17]amazing paintings give a scientist such a paintbrush he would not even

[25:24]to be able to do anything with it he Allah has given

[25:26]him different kind of intelligence he has the intelligence to use a

[25:29]paintbrush does that mean God forbid he's stupid he's not intelligent no

[25:37]his intelligence is in a different way it's in the Arts some

[25:41]people mashallah they have a great ability to write books when you

[25:45]tell them write me a book write me a story mashallah they

[25:51]can write you a novel and it's a nice novel within one

[25:53]week they present you you come to somebody he's like how did

[25:58]you do this I I I don't have that ability Allah has

[26:00]given us different abilities some people are excellent in business mashallah they

[26:04]can fall from their bed and they can make a business transaction

[26:07]and sell others don't have that ability some are Mah very good

[26:13]in math and in science they can sit down and read mashallah

[26:16]Math and Science and they can advance we have different abilities so

[26:21]let's not compare okay so listen to what works for you as

[26:26]a family as an individual but brothers and sisters having said this

[26:31]listen to your parents because your parents know you and they can

[26:35]help you they give you genuine advice so listen to them all

[26:43]right that's the a now D what does the D stand for

[26:45]directed by Allah subhana tala those are the ones whom Allah has

[26:51]guided they are directed by Allah through hiah guidance okay and the

[26:58]a my friend they engage with the message Allah says we have

[27:04]revealed to you a messenger of Allah the messenger of Allah has

[27:13]come to the people of the intellect they engage with the message

[27:18]of good so this is rare at Perfection grade are we all

[27:25]good now fantastic mashallah mashallah this is all good now throughout the

[27:31]nights five of these nights that we had I used some acronyms

[27:34]let's see if you guys remember some of those acronyms on the

[27:39]third night which one please oh mashallah that's good well that's good

[28:10]does the L stand for lawful ask for something that is halal

[28:16]or maybe lawful your food is halal whatever you eat is halal

[28:21]your money is halal that could be either three what does the

[28:24]E the the E stands for in please oh now I got

[28:28]you now I deserve the candy inshallah I'll deserve the other engage

[28:33]with relatives engage with when you have good Allah will answer your

[28:39]duas inshallah that's three what does the a what no but you're

[29:36]person so he wants me to be the middleman I know this

[29:41]but I shouldn't tell him you're giving me the box of chocolate

[29:44]I know why you're giving it to me because you want me

[29:48]to talk to so and so don't although I know this is

[31:45]out of the 24 hours in the day 23 hours they're talking

[31:49]even in their sleep you know so be a good listener when

[31:55]you're a good listener you'll gain okay what else do they do

[31:58]when they listen do they just listen and filter no and just

[32:04]let pass no they what they attain knowledge correct they attain knowledge

[32:08]they mashallah absorb get put as much knowledge as you can into

[32:18]your chest okay once you do this now what have you become

[32:20]this is the eye intellectual wisdom they have wisdom this is the

[32:25]Ayah we recited at the beginning of our talk tonight Ayah number

[32:30]269 of Allah gives wisdom to whomever he wills and whomever attains

[32:50]wisdom has attained Abundant Blessings the says and then Allah says and

[32:55]only those who have the intellect are reminded they are the ones

[33:01]who remind are benefit from this they're the ones who use their

[33:03]wisdom and the r says what is wisdom The Obedience of Allah

[33:10]how do I know someone is wise when I see him a

[33:17]good obedient servant of Allah a god this is wise man and

[33:22]he knows the IM of his time so he keeps him in

[33:23]his mind he thinks about him okay so that is the a

[33:28]and the I and the N needs needs a wise person knows

[33:38]his needs they know exactly what do I need and therefore they

[33:44]know their abilities may Allah have mercy on the person who knows

[33:54]his limits he knows his abilities I don't go beyond my abilities

[33:58]I know how to do this I will do it I don't

[34:01]I will say I don't know half of knowledge is to say

[34:10]I don't know not every we're not created to know everything so

[34:13]do not be embarrassed to say I don't know so this is

[34:18]important that's the N Night six that was night four gain night

[35:21]there our IMS humble our Prophet the says people used to come

[35:28]in the Masjid he used to sit with the people such that

[35:30]strangers did not identify him when the strangers come into the Masjid

[35:41]they say who who is of you you so he's sitting with

[35:44]the people no expectation don't have expectations from people okay that's the

[35:49]E what is the E the a asking asking asking has two

[35:57]branches asking don't ask a a lot of things from people every

[35:59]day I ask for something can you give me this can you

[36:02]give me people get tired unfortunately that's a reality people get tired

[36:07]although although people who ask us for help it's a blessing for

[36:11]us it's a blessing for us the says when someone asks you

[36:18]for help he's bringing you a a mercy if you help him

[36:20]this Mercy is given to you if you don't it will go

[36:25]to someone else on the day of judgment you you will see

[36:42]them so when someone ask you for it's a mercy but people

[36:54]don't be nosy people don't like someone who's nosy you know how

[36:57]do you make your money what do you do how much do

[37:00]you make every day what what what is this how did you

[37:03]meet your wife how many children do you have what do you

[37:05]teach your none of your business mind your own business go go

[37:09]do something some people are so nosy they just want to know

[37:12]everything about mind your own business okay people don't like someone who's

[37:17]nosy okay so that's that like they say curiosity killed what the

[37:25]cat so be careful huh okay and what is the T turning

[37:29]a blind eye turning a blind eye this is we have about

[38:41]ruin their whole family they come home they're so upset and move

[38:50]don't make other people ruin your day you choose how to make

[38:53]your day good or bad okay it's your attitude towards what happen
