[4:03]as the days ofid we think of the blessings from Allah subhanahu

[4:09]tala Upon Our Lives and one of the greatest blessings that Allah

[4:15]subhanahu wa ta'ala has granted us and given every single person every

[4:20]single one of us Muslim or non-muslim believer or non-believer is the

[4:28]gift of Life the gift of of this is a gift that

[4:36]is priceless this is a gift that we pay whatever it takes

[4:40]to keep if someone right now comes and tells you I want

[4:46]to give you $100 million will you accept that you say yes

[4:48]I will accept it but if they come and they tell you

[4:52]I'm going to give you $100 million but you're not going to

[4:57]wake up tomorrow would you accept it you say of course no

[5:00]I would not accept it no matter what no matter what it

[5:05]is no matter how high it is no sane person would accept

[5:09]that what does this mean this means that your life is worth

[5:17]more than anything that there is this means that your life is

[5:20]priceless and if something is that high of a value if something

[5:27]is that much is worth that much then it needs to be

[5:30]valued then it needs to be honored then it needs to be

[5:35]preserved and it needs to be cherished every single moment and every

[5:40]single second and every single hour of your life has a value

[5:46]that means every single day is Val a valuable day for you

[5:49]that means every single hour and every single minute and every single

[5:52]second means something sometimes we sit and we think my life I'm

[5:59]not happy with my life and with the way things are going

[6:02]but know that this is a gift from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[6:06]that you would give whatever it takes just to keep so that

[6:13]means this is a very valuable time so now how do I

[6:15]give value to my life how do I cherish every single moment

[6:22]and every single second and every hour of my life how do

[6:25]I attain happiness this is a question that many people ask and

[6:33]there are many theories regarding happiness different groups of people different ideologies

[6:39]they have different theories towards how we can achieve and attain happiness

[6:46]for example there is a theory of Hedonism meaning you indulge you

[6:52]go after your give your NPS exactly what it wants exactly what

[6:56]it desires and this is the way to attain happiness The NPS

[7:04]is constantly telling me I want this and I want that and

[7:10]in order to attain happiness I have to feed my NFS and

[7:13]give it whatever it asks for there's another theory for happiness a

[7:18]consumerism theory meaning I will buy my happiness even if I'm not

[7:25]happy even if I have a miserable life even if I'm not

[7:27]comfortable but I'm going to spend I'm going to buy this car

[7:31]and I'm going to buy this house and I'm going to upgrade

[7:33]this and I'm going to upgrade that this is how we tell

[7:40]ourselves that we are happy there's another theory towards happiness is through

[7:47]attaining certain goals in life maybe I want to be president maybe

[7:51]I want to be the leader maybe I want to attain a

[7:56]purpose I want to get into a particular school I want to

[7:58]get into a particular job and I will do whatever it takes

[8:04]to attain that goal at whatever cost there is even if the

[8:08]cost is hurting myself hurting my family hurting my my faith my

[8:11]religion my this is one one group of people they say this

[8:17]is how we attain happiness now Allah subhah wa ta'ala also gives

[8:21]us a theory Allah subhana just like there are many theories of

[8:25]Happiness many ideologies you have communism and so socialism and capitalism and

[8:31]all these systems out there Allah subhana T also tells us I

[8:34]have a system I created you I know what's best for you

[8:39]I know what you need so Allah subhah wa ta'ala gives us

[8:45]how we can live a good life how do I live a

[8:49]good life everyone wants that this is something that everyone seeks but

[8:53]sometimes we don't know how to reach it everyone wants success everyone

[8:58]wants happiness but they confuse in the path of reaching that success

[9:03]and that happiness in life Allah subhah wa tala says in the

[9:11]B verse 97 Allah says in the Quran whoever does a good

[9:21]deed you do a good deed acts of righteousness from male or

[9:30]female and the person has to be a a a believer in

[9:38]Allah subhana what will happen we will give you a we will

[9:47]give you a good life if you do these things and they

[9:58]will receive the reward and the best way possible so here Allah

[10:02]subhana wa tala tells us how we can attain that how we

[10:09]can attain that righteous and comfortable and happy life through what one

[10:15]through faith we need faith if anyone comes and tells you I

[10:20]can attain happiness without faith they're fooling themselves because everything in this

[10:26]life is temporary every pleasure me every Power every type of satisfaction

[10:33]in this life has a time limit to it the only way

[10:38]where you can make the pleasures last longer and be Everlasting is

[10:42]through faith in Allah subhah wa tala because what does faith do

[10:48]Faith opens you the path to the Hereafter which is forever which

[10:52]is eternal that means everything that you enjoy in this life you

[10:56]will be able to enjoy it later but without faith I know

[11:00]no matter how rich no matter how powerful no matter how much

[11:03]Pleasures I have in this dya I will know that they're temporary

[11:07]that's it there's going to be an end but with faith you

[11:11]have that bridge that will give you access to the to the

[11:20]afterlife so faith is a solution to happiness and Allah subhana wa

[11:23]ta'ala wants our Good Deeds to stem from Faith any good deed

[11:27]that you do it has to stem from Faith the intention it

[11:32]has to be done for a purpose and Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[11:38]says in the the first the first way to have this life

[11:46]not be a life of loss is that you have to have

[11:50]faith in Allah subhana wa tala and anything you do it needs

[11:55]to be done for the sake of Allah subhana wa tala so

[11:59]Allah subh says there are some people they do good deeds but

[12:08]they don't have faith in God those good deeds they will not

[12:15]go without any reward Allah subhana wa taala is Allah is just

[12:19]but Allah subhah wa ta'ala tells the one that is not doing

[12:22]a good deed for the sake of Allah Allah will tell that

[12:26]person you will see your reward in this dun so you did

[12:30]it for the f Fame you will get the fame you did

[12:31]it for recognition you will get the recognition but if you do

[12:35]it for God maybe you might not get the fame and the

[12:37]recognition and the power and the prestige that people look for but

[12:44]you get the satisfaction of Allah subhah wa ta'ala and that is

[12:49]the definition of faith so Allah says so you have to have

[12:59]IM and second you need to H you need to have good

[13:01]deeds in order to live a happy life I need to have

[13:06]faith and I need to have good deeds in my life and

[13:10]good deeds and Faith they go hand inand with one another you

[13:13]can't find a person who claims to be a believer that does

[13:19]that believes without having good deeds and at the same time a

[13:23]person who does Good Deeds without faith also their action is not

[13:27]going to be rewarded in the way that they wish for it

[13:31]to be rewarded and your Deeds they're reflection of your faith if

[13:36]you have true sincere faith in Allah subhana wa ta'ala that will

[13:42]be reflected in your actions this is like a husband telling his

[13:45]wife or his wife tells him I want you to show me

[13:49]love and he says I love you but it's in my heart

[13:53]she says yes but you have to show it to me he

[13:54]says but it's in my heart if he keeps doing that he's

[13:58]going to get a slipper thrown at him so you have to

[14:01]show it you have to prove it you have to show that

[14:03]if you don't show it then it's going to be a problem

[14:08]and same with Allah subhana wa ta'ala same with our actions uh

[14:14]our actions they're a mirror image a reflection of our faith and

[14:20]then Allah subhana wa tala also says that the these faith and

[14:23]Good Deeds they're for everyone meaning everyone can attain happiness in life

[14:29]Allah subhana wa tala created the male and the female gender and

[14:32]Allah says in the Quran because there are some ideologies they come

[14:40]and they say no happiness and heaven and comfort is only for

[14:45]men for example or this is only for wom no Allah subhana

[14:47]wa tala says there are equal opportunities for everyone to attain happiness

[14:52]the pursuit of happiness and there's an equal opportunity for everyone Allah

[15:01]subhah wa tala does not differentiate between male and female Allah subhana

[15:06]tala says everyone has an opportunity to reach Allah subhana wa tala

[15:11]and attain that happiness now this Allah subhana says this good life

[15:26]is it meant to be in the in the afterlife or in

[15:29]this life here different some people they say no this is only

[15:36]the in the afterlife that's where you're going to live a good

[15:41]life some people they say in this life but the answer is

[15:43]that Allah subhah wa ta'ala is more generous to just give only

[15:46]the Allah subhah wa taala for the M for the believer Allah

[15:52]subhanahu wa taala will give them this life and the afterlife now

[15:55]someone might come and say but how do we reconcile between between

[15:59]those people who are living difficult lives between those people who are

[16:04]tested in their life are they living a good life maybe they're

[16:09]Believers but their life is being tested what do you say about

[16:11]that how can they be living a good life and the answer

[16:16]is that Allah subhanahu wa taala for the M will give them

[16:23]in this life and in the afterlife the believer will receive the

[16:28]and this life and this life will be a small sample of

[16:35]what the is going to have if it's about trials and tests

[16:38]in life then everyone is tested the m and the non-m is

[16:44]tested in fact the philosophy and the reason of Allah subhah wa

[16:47]ta'ala creating us is so that he tests us otherwise how is

[16:53]Allah subhah wa ta'ala going to know who is the mmin and

[16:55]who is the non-m through these tests through these trials in life

[16:59]subhanahu waala tests us everyone is tested this apply this is a

[17:07]rule a general rule that applies to everyone so just because you're

[17:12]a m and you're being tested this does not mean that Allah

[17:14]subhana tal is not giving you a good life because Allah is

[17:21]testing everyone in different ways however the believer when they are tested

[17:25]they have the power of faith that will support them they have

[17:29]the power of IM that will help them in times of difficulty

[17:35]and this is one of the manifestations of when you have that

[17:38]faith when you have God in your life then you're going to

[17:43]be able to deal with challenges and crisis and difficulties and tests

[17:47]and life much easier than someone who does not have faith in

[17:51]Allah subhah wa taala right now look at the people of Gazza

[17:57]for example look at the martyrs in Lebanon look at the sh

[17:59]you see they're giving sh and they're proud of the sh that

[18:05]they're giving they're not hiding their numbers they're coming in they're announcing

[18:09]they're sh and they're proud and they're this is something that they

[18:12]feel it's a great honor that Allah subhana wa tala has given

[18:15]them this is the difference between a M and non-m you see

[18:22]pictures of mus people they're praying their mid is destroyed the Mina

[18:25]of the Masjid has fallen down and thousands of people in the

[18:28]street they praying grain Sun whatever it is they're praying what does

[18:31]that mean that means that we have the strength and we have

[18:37]the power above anyone and anything else and Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[18:40]has given that to the m Allah says in the Quran talking

[18:45]about the non-believers about the Jews in the Quran in if you

[18:59]claim that you are better than everyone if you claim that you

[19:04]are God's chosen people then why don't you wish death why don't

[19:07]you why don't you Embrace death death is something that happens to

[19:10]everyone why do you run away from it and then Allah says

[19:17]in the Quran but they never wish death because of their ways

[19:28]because of their their actions they know that when they go up

[19:33]to Allah Allah will hold them accountable but a m they have

[19:35]nothing to lose they have faith in Allah subhanahu wa taala so

[19:42]this is to answer and reconcile between Allah subhah tala will give

[19:50]a positive life a good life even to the and the non

[19:53]the because both the Believers and the non-believers they're both being tested

[19:57]so just because I'm being being tested as a believer that does

[20:00]not mean that God is against me in fact when you have

[20:04]the faith that faith will help you deal with difficulties and challenges

[20:07]in life and if it's about pleasures and enjoyment in life some

[20:11]people they come and they say look at these non-believers look at

[20:15]how much Pleasures they have in this life look at the wealth

[20:17]look at the power why is it that we Muslims we do

[20:21]not have that here my dear brothers and sisters pleasures and life

[20:26]they're all subjective for different groups of different people they have different

[20:30]things that are pleasureful for them maybe for one person pleasure is

[20:36]one thing for another person pleasure is something else so the non-believer

[20:42]their main focus is on worldly pleasures their main focus is on

[20:45]the pleasures of this duny this temporary Pleasures that come to an

[20:49]end however the believer the mmin they don't only focus and invest

[20:55]on the pleasures of this Dunya even though it's not Haram to

[20:59]have Pleasures in this D however the believer focuses on the pleasures

[21:03]of the the believer focuses on God's satisfaction and being near to

[21:09]Allah subhah wa tala and that is what brings comfort and satisfaction

[21:15]so sometimes we just have to change our perspective and change our

[21:19]perception Prophet is I've mentioned the story before Prophet Isa he passes

[21:26]by a man who is paralyzed he's blind and he has a

[21:32]skin disease no one comes near this man and Prophet Isa he

[21:35]tells this man how are you doing today with his disciples and

[21:38]this old man he says I'm in my best state possible tells

[21:46]him how are you in your best state possible you're blind you

[21:51]have leprosy and you're paralyzed he tells him because I have something

[21:58]that other people don't have and that is my tongue is constantly

[22:04]remembering Allah subhana wa tala and when you're remembering God you have

[22:08]the source of pleasure and the source of happiness and satisfaction in

[22:13]your life and Allah subhana taala says on the other hand the

[22:27]one who Rejects the of Allah subhah waala this person will have

[22:33]a horrible life in this life and on the day of judgment

[22:43]this person will be resurrected as a blind person now when you

[22:47]look at someone apparently they look like they're very happy and they're

[22:50]comfortable and they're enjoying their life and they have their cars and

[22:54]their houses and their travel and all of that but my dear

[22:56]brothers and sisters happiness is not defined by things that we buy

[23:02]happiness is a state of feeling that's in the heart Allah subhana

[23:04]wa tala can give it to a m and Allah subhanahu wa

[23:10]ta'ala can take it away from a person who does not believe

[23:12]so here Allah subhana wa ta'ala has promised pleasures of this duny

[23:17]happiness Allah subhah wa ta'ala has promised wealth and everything that is

[23:24]sufficient for a Believer Allah says in the Quran [Applause] the one

[23:35]who has real faith in God Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will create

[23:43]a solution out of every problem every problem and the r and

[23:51]the sustenance will come from ways that you have not imagined so

[23:54]yes the The Good Life Allah subh waala will give it to

[24:02]the believer in this life and in the afterlife let me say

[24:04]the story from the life of IM Hassan and we will end

[24:09]this first speech imass one day he comes out of his home

[24:12]and he's dressed comfortably and his clothes look nice and he's riding

[24:21]a horse and he has people look at him and they're looking

[24:23]at him he looks comfortable apparently now of course the IMs of

[26:59]is going to be much better and much greater and much vaster

[27:03]and for you you look at your life it's miserable compared to

[27:09]the this life that's miserable is going to be heaven for you

[27:12]because that life is going to be much worse all you had

[27:15]to do is believe in Allah subhana tala all you had to

[27:19]do was do some good deeds and Allah subhah wa ta'ala would

[27:23]have given you the and the pleasures in the afterlife so my

[27:27]dear brother and sisters this is Allah subhana says you do good

[27:39]deeds and you have faith in Allah and this applies to men

[27:42]and women Allah subhana wa tala will give you a good life

[27:48]and this applies in this life and in the alhamdulillah muham I

[29:28]Ali husin muhamad Ali Muhammad Muhammed Ali my dear brothers and sisters

[29:56]two days ago the Muslim World celebrated the day of and Eid

[30:00]of completing the holy month of Ramadan and while the day of

[30:07]Eid is supposed to be a day of happiness and pleasure and

[30:10]joy unfortunately this year our Eid was a Bittersweet Eid just like

[30:15]every day has been for the past 6 months because of the

[30:23]ongoing genocide and suffering that's going on in Palestine and it's been

[30:30]over 6 months now since October 7th it's been over 6 months

[30:34]that this genocide and constant daily bombing has been taking place now

[30:41]while this has been only going on for 6 months the suffering

[30:45]we know of the Palestinians has been going on for over 75

[30:49]years and what is angering to Muslims and the community and anyone

[30:56]who is against war and against suffering and anyone who's for Humanity

[31:02]and democracy is The Stance of the American foreign policy which is

[31:07]not changing despite despite all that we have seen despite thousands being

[31:12]killed we still see that the American foreign policy has not changed

[31:18]and the president of America is still continuing until this day giving

[31:23]the green light to Israel to carry out the oppression and carrying

[31:31]out the killing and the genocide that is going place and we

[31:36]see that this green light is only making matters worse now we're

[31:39]talking about a regional War breaking out in the area with other

[31:46]countries getting involved and this is only getting worse so even to

[31:51]America if you truly consider Israel to be your friend you are

[31:55]not doing them service by giving them all of this green light

[31:59]to do whatever they want because this is only going to make

[32:03]matters worse but my dear brothers and sisters our job continues to

[32:08]be the same our role continues to be the same we have

[32:12]to continue speaking out against the oppression we should not get tired

[32:15]of speaking out we should not get tired of protesting and we

[32:22]should not get tired of calling congressmen Senators whatever it is trying

[32:26]to make a positive influence because on the day of judgment Allah

[32:30]subhana wa tala is going to ask us what did you do

[32:34]what was your role when all of this suffering what's going on

[32:37]so the boycott movement it is making a difference the speaking out

[32:42]the protest the uncommitted movement these are all working in fact I

[32:47]saw a post today it says that 58 members of Congress including

[32:52]Nancy Pelosi they have urged Biden to uh to Halt the offensive

[32:57]armstr transfer to Israel this was something that we did not see

[33:04]6 months ago or 4 months ago or 3 months ago so

[33:06]pressure is working even though it's very slow but it is working

[33:12]and that means that we have to continue to do what we

[33:14]are doing and that is speaking out against the oppression that is

[33:19]taking place last week my dear brothers and sisters Dearborn made it

[33:26]on national news and this is unfortunately because there are some groups

[33:30]that they try to look for the bad apples they try to

[33:33]find something bad to come and give a blanket statement and blanket

[33:40]judgment against a whole community and you see that this is an

[33:42]attempt that is constantly taking place the Muslim Community in Wayne County

[33:48]and Dearborn and around deborn area they're targeted because it's a powerful

[33:53]Community here a community that will and inshallah can make a change

[34:00]come election and can can have a positive influence however while we

[34:05]support we see that it made it made news through saying Dearborn

[34:10]is calling death to America and while while we encourage people to

[34:16]protest and while we encourage people to come out for day this

[34:21]is something that is harmful to the community this is something that

[34:25]does a disservice and this is something that will not bring any

[34:29]good light to the community here by making these chants and even

[34:34]though this chant was not made by the community they come and

[34:37]they try to make it as if it was made by the

[34:40]community it was one or two people who are not very much

[34:43]associated with the community they were uh making this chant but regardless

[34:50]we have to make our position clear that while we speak against

[34:55]the foreign policy of Biden and foreign policy of America and while

[34:59]we encourage people to protest this chant is not helpful saying death

[35:03]to America this is not something that is going to be helpful

[35:07]and it does a disservice to the whole community and all of

[35:10]the good that is done it will be erased as a result

[35:14]of that so it does a disservice to our cause and we

[35:19]have to be strategic we have to think of how we can

[35:22]bring positive change in a way that does not damage our image

[35:27]and our reputation because the community has done so much so we

[35:31]have to be very careful with that while we are um speaking

[35:34]out against the Injustice that is taking place my dear brothers and

[35:38]sisters we ask Allah subhah wa ta'ala to bless you all we

[35:44]ask Allah subhana wa taala to accept from everyone and may Allah

[35:48]subhana wa ta'ala end the suffering and the oppression that is taking

[35:53]place against the people of Palestine and Lebanon and we ask that

[35:56]this we ask Allah to make this end so that it doesn't

[36:01]spill over and cause more suffering across the world because War does

[36:07]not bring happiness War only brings more and more suffering my dear

[36:39]brothers and sisters on the day of we announced and we have

[36:43]the pictures outside of the rendering of the new place that inshallah

[36:46]the plan is to get ourselves ready to eventually be able to

[36:50]break ground on but there's a there's a campaign and an effort

[36:56]to try to get 500 people to donate $5,000 to sponsor the

[37:01]prayer Hall and this will be um this is going to be

[37:09]a Sak that is continuous anyone who prays for 50 100 years

[37:12]however much longer you will receive the Tha or the ones who

[37:18]you've done it in the name of your this is this is

[37:19]one of the best things we could do for ourselves a lifelong

[37:25]investment and even continues in the so and and by donating we

[37:29]will be able to reach our goal we will be able to

[37:33]do what we can what we are intending on doing so we

[37:38]ask you to contribute in your name in the name of your

[37:40]family and also speak to other people so that we can reach

[37:47]that goal we ask Allah subh to bless you all by the

[37:58]way they're saying that this even if you donate or pledge $5,000

[38:02]it could be done in payments and installments so that's around $418

[38:06]a month within a year you would be able to do that

[38:11]so this is to make it easier inshallah Al
