[0:03][Music] ah [Music] [Music] my brothers and my sisters after the events
[1:05]of sacrifice and throughout the times to come we find the tactic
[1:12]of the alienation of the banu hashem in order to strip away
[1:16]their moral and material weapons against the ruling party so they were
[1:23]alienated we see this in several different ways the first way it
[1:28]was through threats they were prepared to use force we saw how
[1:31]prepared they were to use force against zad ibn abaddha in the
[1:37]sacrifice meeting when he was beaten and we see what happened on
[1:41]that fateful night outside the house of said fatima alayhi salaam when
[1:44]her house was threatened with being burnt down and it was barged
[1:50]into so force was a tactic they would use if necessary we
[1:53]see in the times to come afterwards the banu hashim would always
[1:59]be sidelined in the ruling government there was no position for anyone
[2:04]from banu hashem even though the banu umayya had many positions no
[2:08]one from the banu hashem did even later on you see in
[2:12]the reign of umar when ibn abbas was going to be the
[2:15]ruler of hans he was sidelined because there was a fear that
[2:22]he would give the banu hashim a face of an uprising the
[2:26]threat of the uprising remained even for decades later we see even
[2:32]when it came to khalid ibn saeed ibn al-ass who was someone
[2:36]who after the sakrifa had happened he came out and he questioned
[2:40]why are we giving bayha to abu bakr when we gave the
[2:44]baya to ali already he sided with the banu hashim and him
[2:47]ali alayhi salaam after sacrifice because of that he remained in the
[2:52]minds of the ruling party that's why later on when he was
[2:56]going to be a leader in an army to go and conquer
[3:01]sham he was disposed of by abu bakr umar reminded him remember
[3:04]this is someone who at the time of the khilafah dispute he
[3:08]sided with ali so he was someone they couldn't trust you see
[3:13]there were several different forms of these tactics even when um was
[3:18]to pass away and he wanted to leave the issue of the
[3:22]khilafah in ashura in a council he selected six people from that
[3:28]council he selected those six people and he said whoever is voted
[3:32]into being the leader of these six people will become the khalifah
[3:35]in these six people was along with people like zubair people like
[3:43]uthman people like talhah who at the time zubair was thinking of
[3:46]this that ali is the rightful leader now he's in a council
[3:51]he can be leader notice how they were normalizing this concept of
[3:55]imam ali al-istanam being the rightful leader it was normalized that this
[3:58]was not the case they were trying to get rid of that
[4:01]concept so there is no more moral right against them against the
[4:05]ruling party this remained for decades now we come back to the
[4:12]chronological story now it is monday the prophet had passed away in
[4:18]the morning sakifa happened in the morning the dispute between the quraysh
[4:22]the muhajireen and the ansar occurs abu bakr takes they begin to
[4:29]fill the streets slowly everyone starts to give up they walk through
[4:33]the streets omar is speaking he brings the people give him the
[4:36]bay'a we have a new khalifa it's done abu bakr starts taking
[4:41]the baya then he goes now it's the night time it's monday
[4:43]night abu bakr goes into the masjid and he starts to take
[4:49]the bay'a from the people he sits on the mamba of rasulallah
[4:52]and the people start coming in and everything is happening very quickly
[4:56]and people are giving the baya next door is his house he
[5:03]hears what's happening he remains in his house he was not at
[5:05]the sapha he was at the burial of the prophet he buried
[5:10]the prophet everyone who was at sacrifice was not at the burial
[5:13]of the prophet and everyone at the burial was not at sacrifice
[5:17]so here imam ali is grieving he is still in mourning it's
[5:24]monday night he is still grieving for the loss of the prophet
[5:25]meanwhile the people are giving baha too in the masjid the night
[5:31]passes and now it is tuesday morning now imam ali is inside
[5:38]masjid and nebui he's sitting with zubair with mikdad with ammar and
[5:42]they're speaking about what's going on over there there's also another group
[5:45]the bani umayya are sitting down of man and his clan are
[5:49]speaking several different groups are sitting in a masjid and abu bakr
[5:54]and umar walk in and so um looks around and says what
[5:59]are you all doing still sitting down stand up and give baya
[6:03]to the khalifa people were looking around he already had garnered so
[6:07]much support from the quraish and from the alliance to tribes the
[6:13]banu umayya stood up and went to him and began to give
[6:16]him the baya here ali stood up and walked away walked to
[6:22]his house no response now here's something that i want to mention
[6:27]remember one of the honors given to ali ibn abi talib is
[6:30]the fact that his house was the only house that had a
[6:34]door connected to the masjid the prophet muhammad had ordered during his
[6:38]lifetime to close all the doors except the door of ali and
[6:41]people were a bit upset by this but the prophet said this
[6:44]is not my order the order's from the heavens the door of
[6:47]yama ali al-islam was connected to the masjid that was baaba ali
[6:50]so ali goes home through his book he goes opens the door
[6:55]and goes home omar gives a speech to the people about the
[6:59]new khalifa the new movement the new uprising now of the muslim
[7:04]ummah it's not going to be a weak ummah this ummah is
[7:07]a strong ummah he's giving them motivation inspiration he gives a speech
[7:13]and then he turns to abu bakr and he tells abu bakr
[7:18]call for ali as long as ali isn't giving the bayer this
[7:24]will not be seen as legitimate they need the stamp of ali
[7:29]and he could not hold out for too long it's already been
[7:34]24 hours if he holds out for any longer then people might
[7:37]start to take their bayaha back go back on their word they
[7:42]realize ali might revolt they did not want ali to revolt they
[7:45]gave him a whole day he still did not give the baya
[7:48]umar said it's time abu bakr you have to call him if
[7:51]you don't we will not get over this fitna so abu bakr
[7:56]tells him go and get the bay'ah from him he sends omar
[8:03]umar gathers his friends companions warriors khalid bin waleed they all come
[8:12]with him and he goes to the house he goes outside and
[8:14]he stands outside the house now it's towards the night time it's
[8:17]been a day and a half and imam ali salam has still
[8:21]not come out given the bay'a now here's what i want you
[8:25]to imagine take yourself there and notice these points this is the
[8:28]house of ali this is the masjid is here in the masjid
[8:32]on the member he can hear what's happening the house of ali
[8:36]is here the house of ali has a door connected to the
[8:40]masjid as i mentioned that's baba ali when the prophet muhammad sallallahu
[8:43]alaihi would go to visit his daughter and his grandsons he would
[8:48]go and knock on narrations on reports it says bab fatima he
[8:53]would go around outside and knock on the door he would seek
[8:58]permission to come in she said albert baitok this is your house
[9:01]albeit baitok this is your house my father ya rasulullah he would
[9:07]come in through the door of fatima bab fatima that door was
[9:14]bab ali siddhl close the doors except his door the door of
[9:18]ali so it had two doors there was the back door connected
[9:21]to the masjid and the front door connect to the outside which
[9:24]is the door of allah to come from he never used to
[9:27]come from the back door that one was imali would go to
[9:30]pray salat and come back so here imam ali is in the
[9:36]house umar and the warriors and his companions are outside the house
[9:40]inside the house with imam ali salam are his trusted companions they
[9:48]were inside the house now we know that when there's a group
[9:52]of men in the islamic tradition they do not mix with a
[9:56]group of women or a woman imam ali salaam is sitting down
[9:59]on the other side of the house next to his door with
[10:02]his companions say it's not sitting with them she's on her side
[10:06]of the house even if it was a small house they are
[10:07]split however much you want to say they were split you want
[10:11]to say as soon as the house is they're not all sitting
[10:14]together is next to her door they are next to ali's door
[10:19]omar calls out come out of the house and give baya no
[10:24]response come out of the house and give bayer and if you
[10:31]don't we will burn your house down that was a threat and
[10:34]this threat is found in sunni narrations as well as generations of
[10:39]course the generation speak in more detail about what was happening afterwards
[10:42]and the sunni narrations even explains that someone called out when he
[10:48]threatened to burn the house someone called out the daughter of rasulullah
[10:52]is inside the house and here um responded wherein and if she
[11:02]is now here is when it cuts off in the sunni narrations
[11:05]and the shia narrations it explains what happens inside say the father
[11:11]calls out she says you want to threaten to burn our house
[11:17]down how can you be doing this when you left us with
[11:18]the prophet when he was still unburied and you took our right
[11:21]may allah be the judge between us omar called out if you
[11:28]don't come out and give the bay'a will burn the house imam
[11:31]ali did not come out so um that he had no choice
[11:39]and he rampaged to the door and he broke the door down
[11:42]with seda fatima alaya salaam on the other side the door opened
[11:50]violently with her behind it it slammed onto her and she was
[11:57]squeezed behind the door her ribs were wounded and she fell to
[11:59]the ground at this moment and imagine this is happening in mere
[12:03]seconds omar comes in his warriors behind him ali stands he sees
[12:06]his wife just dropped to the ground he runs to uma and
[12:10]grabs him the people walk in the companions of imam ali comes
[12:12]obey takes his sword out but they smash the sword of the
[12:16]bait out of his hand at that moment looks around he sees
[12:21]the swords are out his companions are threatened with death his wife
[12:25]is on the ground and ali stands and he's surrounded and he
[12:29]has a choice to make fight and die and if anyone wants
[12:36]to say ali would have taken them all out please look at
[12:41]reality is not going to kill 1 000 people and better he
[12:45]killed 35 and that was one of the greatest performances in his
[12:50]life if not the greatest he looked around if only i had
[12:55]40 men he said that's what he said beforehand and afterwards 40
[13:00]men but he had none only five came to assist him the
[13:06]imam looked around and he had no choice he held his ground
[13:11]he could not sacrifice his and everyone else's life at that moment
[13:17]when islam was still a child that he had to nurture it's
[13:19]not for ali scared for his own life it's khali's love for
[13:25]islam god forbid even if he took his sword out father would
[13:27]have said yeah ali what are you doing my father told you
[13:32]if you have no support how can you fight them the aim
[13:36]of this night the priority was for ali to get through this
[13:41]night alive because they wanted to kill him and i will bring
[13:45]the proof of why because they dragged him outside of the house
[13:48]as they dragged ali outside of the house said the fatima stood
[13:52]up even though she was wounded she tried to stand up to
[13:56]say leave my cousin but imali told salman not fatima come so
[14:00]salman went and told fatima your husband has told you not to
[14:04]come stay here so she said i trust him i will obey
[14:08]i'll stay and she sat in the house to heal her wound
[14:13]by herself and her children were there they dragged imam ali salam
[14:18]to the masjid where becky was waiting they brought him in forward
[14:23]to abu bakr and islam stood and saw and watched on abbas
[14:27]my man his uncle heard about what was happening and russia masjid
[14:30]and told him don't kill my nephew because the swords were out
[14:34]umar saw they had threatened him now the swords were out and
[14:39]they told him and his hands stayed clenched he kept a fist
[14:45]he would not give it and so um told him give the
[14:51]bayah if you don't give the bay'a you will be killed here
[14:55]the imam said what if i don't give the bay'a they said
[15:00]you will be killed.
[15:02]and he said you will kill the servant of allah and the
[15:06]brother of rasulullah they said you're the servant of allah but you're
[15:09]not the brother of rasulallah they already denied him the brotherhood that
[15:12]he had that everyone knew about they denied him this he looked
[15:16]around and he said i am more worthy of this than you
[15:21]you have taken our right you came forward and you told the
[15:25]ansar that you are closer to the prophet you put that argument
[15:28]forward so now i'm putting the same argument forward to you am
[15:34]i not the closest to rasulullah they ignored him ahmad once again
[15:40]said give the bayah so ali looked at umar and told him
[15:44]milk the other o omar until it gives you what you want
[15:50]tomorrow squeeze onto it today so it gives you what you want
[15:56]tomorrow when he said this abu ubaidah said ya ali we're not
[15:59]here to argue about your position with rasulullah but you are young
[16:04]is our elder ali looked at him and then looked back abu
[16:07]bakr and said you took our right and abu bakr said yes
[16:11]but i did it because of fitna sedition i didn't want it
[16:16]to be corruption and fitna at that moment they grabbed his hand
[16:21]and they took it his fist and they put it onto the
[16:27]hand of abu bakr and they began to shout hassan but hassan
[16:32]has given baya ali has given baya they began to say he
[16:35]looked around what could he do was he going to fight a
[16:41]losing battle the quraysh were ready with their swords out one little
[16:45]mistake they were waiting for for one of their aggressive loons to
[16:49]make a move with a sword one mistake ali had to be
[16:54]so careful not to allow them to have an excuse where they
[16:59]could say he's now moving against the law he's a rebel he's
[17:04]revolting he could not have that 560 years the quraysh ruled the
[17:09]empire of islam 560 years from this day you think they were
[17:16]willing to compromise on 560 years there was no compromise everyone was
[17:20]on edge everyone was ready for battle everyone had this sword drawn
[17:25]the companions were then forced to give the baya salman looked at
[17:32]them and said you did and you did not as in you
[17:37]chose a khalifa but you did not follow the order of rasulullah
[17:42]now people want to speak about the claim that islam gave his
[17:48]oath of allegiance to voluntarily and sometimes they try to bring you
[17:53]different sources from different books to prove so whereas you have to
[17:57]look at the context of everything and you have to look in
[17:59]history we find as i mentioned in the history of prophet muhammad
[18:05]series there are always conflicting narrations throughout the lives of the prophet
[18:08]and the albeit and you have to bring those narrations forward and
[18:11]you have to weigh them out based on evidence and i mentioned
[18:15]this in the previous series for anyone who is willing to watch
[18:18]here we also want to look at the context in which these
[18:21]hadith were expressing what occurred on this day we have hadith and
[18:30]sunni a hadith so we see in these shia sources where he
[18:36]speaks about companions twelve of them of the muhajrin and ansar come
[18:41]to the house of ali afterwards and they tell him how could
[18:45]you let your right go are you going to resist aren't you
[18:49]going to fight back they wanted to fight these 12 men and
[18:51]ali tells them let me explain to you it's not that i
[18:56]want to give up my right i was forced and you are
[19:01]an insignificant number if you go to resist right now you will
[19:05]be killed he told them and this faith is only 20 years
[19:09]old he has to nourish it and nurture it after the prophet
[19:14]has just left it and left it in his hands in his
[19:18]ammanna what's he going to do he's telling them you're going to
[19:22]be killed we see in a book that some people use against
[19:25]us and say that look in this book a source we see
[19:32]that the author says ali gave the bear under what context on
[19:34]the context that i just explained in the same book the context
[19:38]is that he is shackled he is threatened he is dragged outside
[19:41]the house sword on the neck and then he is told to
[19:43]give the bay'a habibi what bai is he giving what legitimacy do
[19:47]you take from that people want to say ali is not one
[19:52]to be forced ali is not being forced here to save his
[19:56]own life he does it since when does haley do things for
[20:01]his own self when does he act on his own behalf he's
[20:04]doing this for islam it's not about being forced or not being
[20:07]stubborn or not we see it even in sunni narrations they speak
[20:10]about what occurred not to the same extent but they speak about
[20:14]what occurred in the farid and in they speak about the coercion
[20:18]they speak about the force that was applied onto imam ali al-islam
[20:23]al-baladuri even says that he felt sorry for the imam for what
[20:27]was happening to him in the book in akbar farid it is
[20:31]said that rebecca sends umar and he said that if he fights
[20:37]if ali and zubair fight against you then if they resist fight
[20:41]them fight back against them so this this rhetoric was available in
[20:44]different sources and here my brothers and sisters it's not about bravery
[20:50]it's not about courage courage is courage in the right place again
[20:54]islam says it perfectly and i say it again and again justice
[20:58]is to put each thing in its rightful place courage is courage
[21:01]in its rightful place but when courage is done in a place
[21:05]when courage is exacted at a time that it's not needed it
[21:11]becomes recklessness recklessness not courage and the imam was never reckless the
[21:16]albeit were brave but not reckless was imam ali salaam the brave
[21:24]courageous warrior was he reckless in mecca in the early years of
[21:28]islam when the prophet was told by il that he would be
[21:30]assassinated in the night time and that's why he had to go
[21:31]on hijrah and he told imam ali sleep in my bed when
[21:35]he told him they were coming to kill me did they imam
[21:37]say where are they rasulullah show me where they are let me
[21:40]go and fight them no because you're in mecca and you're a
[21:44]few muslims and there are thousands from quraish you will be killed
[21:49]they're not reckless the imam slept in the prophet's bed that night
[21:52]that if he was to die he was to die but now
[21:55]there is no prophet now the prophet has passed ali is the
[22:00]one now to lead islam before if ali was going to leave
[22:05]this world the prophet was there he wasn't islam was on safe
[22:08]hands now rasulullah is gone in the second day you want ali
[22:11]to leave as well who is left of the essence of islam
[22:14]what is left after rasool and ali so the imam doesn't fight
[22:23]and for good reason and anyone who thinks otherwise and says ali
[22:27]would never accept this to happen to for example his wife my
[22:31]happens in a few seconds if someone's wife is there and something
[22:34]happens to her does that mean that he is weak he wasn't
[22:38]there a few meters away he ran he grabbed umar the people
[22:42]stood around him and this threat was imposed upon him whichever way
[22:49]you look at it the imam was threatened even with death and
[22:54]he says this and he says a very impactful verse from the
[23:00]quran at this moment when he's in the masjid and it's the
[23:05]verse that nabi haroon uses nabiharun he uses this verse when nabi
[23:10]musa alayhi salam moses leaves his people haroon is now the one
[23:15]a prophet of god who stays behind and is supposed to guide
[23:20]the people here the people slowly began to go and worship the
[23:27]cough they went into only 40 days and moses left 40 days
[23:30]and moses brought the miracle of the miracle he split the sea
[23:33]he turned a stick into a snake what miracle is greater than
[23:38]this in terms of the way that you see it with your
[23:40]eyes your physical eyes it's right in front of you how could
[23:42]the people doubt moses yet 40 days and they strayed from his
[23:46]path why is it so difficult for you to believe that people
[23:49]stray from the part of rasulullah right afterwards this is why i
[23:52]don't understand about some very intelligent people that they say that i
[23:57]cannot believe in the narrative of events that the shia i speak
[24:02]about because it's just so unlikely how is this unlikely it happened
[24:06]in the quran 40 days and they left his path and they're
[24:09]worshiping the kaf and here nabi musa returns and when he sees
[24:17]this he says yaharoun what happened to my ummah and haroon says
[24:21]my brother my brother the people they took me they forced me
[24:29]and they were going to kill me imam ali al-islam says those
[24:35]same words as haroon said my brother i thought that if they
[24:38]were going to kill me you would return you'd find me dead
[24:41]and your ummah has dispersed and they've left each other this was
[24:45]all i could do to keep them together subhanallah the imam narrates
[24:49]the same verse again for good reason and we find in islamic
[24:57]law how coercion invalidates any transaction you cannot do something in a
[25:02]forced manner a divorce if it is forced is not legitimized a
[25:06]marriage if it is forced is not legitimized so how can ebay
[25:11]when it is forced be legitimized not only that but even if
[25:18]the imam was refused the baya it's not imam and his right
[25:21]to give imam away or to give khilafah away the same way
[25:24]the prophethood connect cannot create another prophet he always said to ali
[25:28]ya ali you are to me as haroon is to musa but
[25:33]there is no prophet after me if the prophet cannot make another
[25:39]person a prophet how can imam ali make another person an imam
[25:43]or validate that for them he cannot it's not even in his
[25:46]right to do that in fact imam ali salam's refusal to give
[25:52]homage was so well known that muawiyah himself was writing about it
[25:57]to him in a letter and the imam responds and you can
[26:00]find his response in nigel balaga where he tells muhammad you want
[26:03]to bring up the time when i was dragged from my house
[26:07]like a camel with a rope around my neck and every humiliation
[26:10]and cruelty was leveled against me he mentions it therefore the people
[26:16]had now regarded that imam ali had given the bayaha to abu
[26:23]bakr even though it was forced this sad night came to an
[26:30]end the imam was left alone he came out of the masjid
[26:33]and he went back home and you can imagine the scenes how
[26:39]would it have felt as he came back into the home to
[26:43]see the zahara salaam sitting tending to her wounds with alhassan with
[26:50]hussain by her side the imam you can only imagine him sitting
[26:55]down with them as her tears strolled and their tears strolled down
[27:01]their cheeks it's only normal for the imam to have a heart
[27:04]full of pain a heavy heavy heart on this night they had
[27:08]just lost the profit the day before this is the masala of
[27:17]afterwards the 12 companions come and knock on the door of him
[27:21]ali as i mentioned they told him or you're not going to
[27:24]resist he tells them my brothers there is nothing that you can
[27:31]do if you go to fight him if you go to fight
[27:32]them you will all be killed they still harbor envy and hatred
[27:36]towards me from days gone by the people around in quraish if
[27:42]you're going to do something do it without force if you want
[27:45]to advise him advise him but use no force so they went
[27:48]to the masjid and they said yeah abu bakr are you going
[27:52]to continue on this path that you have taken you've taken the
[27:57]right of it here ahmad turned them down gave another and he
[28:03]won if anyone wants to do this again then they were going
[28:07]to have to face a severe punishment people could not speak up
[28:09]anymore this was now law so imam ali had no choice now
[28:16]he could not fight with the sword he didn't have enough supporters
[28:21]he couldn't stand up against them he had forced the bay'ah the
[28:24]only choice the imam had left was to protect islam in whatever
[28:31]way he could so he went towards damage limitation here he tries
[28:36]to protect islam through warning through advice through helping in whatever way
[28:41]that he could whilst not giving legitimacy in terms of his bailout
[28:47]of course so you see how with all sincerity throughout the reigns
[28:51]of abu bakr and umar when times were tough even though imam
[28:56]ali al-islam became very reserved when times were tough he would be
[29:02]the person to go to imam ali islam feared so much for
[29:06]islam he loved islam the way the prophet loved islam he could
[29:09]see that the different jewish tribes at the time bani nadir and
[29:15]bani koreda they were there on the outskirts watching what's happening if
[29:18]right now the muslims were to get into a civil war 20
[29:22]years after islam basically began and a day after the prophet passes
[29:27]away the muslims would be easy pickings you had the christians the
[29:31]tribes of najiran you had the byzantine empire they were all watching
[29:35]on they could easily take advantage of the situation the imam did
[29:38]not want islam to be at risk so he put his own
[29:44]self aside as difficult as that pill is to swallow and i
[29:47]don't know how a human being like him is able to live
[29:51]with swallowing such a pill such a difficult pill and he does
[29:56]for islam and for allah so much so that even during the
[30:00]reign of umar during one of the wars and the conquests um
[30:03]was going to the battle and he told him don't go if
[30:07]you go there's a risk in this battle you will be killed
[30:09]and the leader of the muslims cannot be killed so here he
[30:14]sincerely gave him advice to save his life so much so that
[30:20]ahmad himself says whether not for ali would have perished of course
[30:25]we see in the years to go by the two decades to
[30:28]follow this is what occurred imam ali he could not speak to
[30:33]them about the hadith that everyone knew the testimonies he could not
[30:40]come with a testimony if they were prepared to call prophet muhammad
[30:45]himself delirious on his deathbed then they were ready to deny any
[30:50]narration that imam ali came up with if the imam came and
[30:55]said what about hadith when the when the prophet said i was
[30:59]the khalifa after him when i was 16 years old what about
[31:01]the brotherhood they already denied him the brotherhood when they said that
[31:04]you are not his brother all of these different hadith that we
[31:08]know about imam ali al-islam could have been denied if the imam
[31:12]started bringing them up because here now the people were conspiring against
[31:17]him he could see that if the people in medina that were
[31:19]conspiring against him all got together and bore witness against these hadith
[31:24]then the imam now is making them become weak in front of
[31:29]people outside of medina you see the ansar themselves he could not
[31:34]appeal to the ansar because the ansar had already given baya on
[31:38]that day if he told the ansari ansar i'm your imam remember
[31:42]you gave bay'a to me in the ansar would be contradicting themselves
[31:48]on the same exact day so they couldn't retract it and the
[31:53]imam could not allow these hadith to lose their value outside of
[31:56]madina he had to preserve them because if they were denied right
[32:01]now by the mohajjiri and ansar if they were to be denied
[32:04]how could the ansar say yes you're right and still give back
[32:07]if he were to deny them there the people outside madina the
[32:11]muslims outside of medina would lose value to these if they were
[32:15]denied if they were focused on and then made to look like
[32:18]they were not true so the imam did not want the ruling
[32:22]party to give attention to this hadith right now in order to
[32:26]ruin it for the muslims to come be sure had the imam
[32:30]used these hadith at that time they may not have come to
[32:34]us because they were able to reach the khilafah without them there
[32:38]was no probability we say there was not going to be any
[32:43]effect if the imam used these hadith except the downfall of these
[32:46]traditions the traditions would have disappeared or at least made it look
[32:51]like they were fabricated who focused on this idea wow we are
[32:54]focused on this idea he realized this that's why you find so
[32:59]many fabricated hadith in a time of but he couldn't fabricate all
[33:03]of them and he couldn't erase them he didn't have the power
[33:06]that abu bakr and umar have at the end of the day
[33:09]they were original muhajireen they had great power and popularity they could
[33:13]have done away with that so the imam did not want to
[33:17]he did not want to fight such a battle and if he
[33:22]did have people from the ansar and his companions who bore witness
[33:25]to his truth of these hadith then they will be singled out
[33:29]as people who are rebelling and revolting and this would have led
[33:32]to a conflict and let her bloodshed which is exactly what the
[33:34]imam was trying to avoid so there was no way that he
[33:38]could go which way does he go and this is why after
[33:43]the sativa happened and one of the companions said how come we
[33:46]are giving baya to abu bakr didn't we give it to ali
[33:51]already and then the response came from the quraish they said no
[33:53]the prophethood and the imam cannot join in one household and the
[33:58]imam heard this and said who came up with this hadith they
[34:01]said the prophet and he said do you have proof of this
[34:03]and they all got in and said yes we believe this happened
[34:06]and they were lying so the imam stood and realized how far
[34:09]they were going to go that's why in the surah of umar
[34:14]the council of umar imam ali says that i knew they were
[34:16]not going to choose me i knew it was set up in
[34:18]such a way that it was going to be a man who
[34:20]was going to be the khalifa and ibn abbas asked him afterwards
[34:24]then why did you join the surah if you knew that it
[34:27]was no there was no point to it if you knew that
[34:30]it was going to be on uthman anyway why did you do
[34:36]that he said i did this to prove that omar contradicted himself
[34:39]because if imam and prophethood that they said cannot join together 20
[34:43]years ago they said they cannot join together under one household how
[34:46]come i'm in the council why am i part of the council
[34:49]so then they can join otherwise you've put me here for no
[34:55]reason so he wanted to show the contradiction and hypocrisy there at
[34:59]the end of the day we saw how far they were willing
[35:01]to go when they called the prophet delirious the imam saw her
[35:05]father willing to go he saw her father willing to go when
[35:08]they used force and violence he did not want the traditions of
[35:14]islam of his position and his position with rasulullah and in islam
[35:17]as the imam to be done away with and seem like it's
[35:21]fabricated for for the people outside of madina at the time and
[35:23]for us afterwards who are going to inherit this knowledge so he
[35:27]stayed silent and did not use his he postponed it until a
[35:32]later time when he was able to speak about these things especially
[35:35]when he was the khalifa and this led to a culture of
[35:41]burning a hadith doing away with a hadith and even in some
[35:47]narrations in the sunni sources the idea that we should not take
[35:49]a hadith and so i wanted to read some of these hadith
[35:53]to you now here during the time of the prophet we have
[36:04]abdullah the son of ahmadine he says i used to write whatever
[36:09]i heard from the messenger of allah until the quraysh prohibited me
[36:13]and said to me do you write anything you hear from the
[36:15]prophet whilst he's also a human who has rage and pleasure so
[36:20]i stopped he said i stopped writing hadith until i informed the
[36:25]prophet about what the quraysh had said to me here the prophet
[36:28]was alive so the prophet pointed to his mouth with his finger
[36:31]and he said right by the one my life in his mighty
[36:35]hand none other than truth has come out of this mouth right
[36:41]that's a hadith in the time of the prophet another hadith during
[36:47]the reign of abu bakr here the habit narrates after the demise
[36:52]of the prophet abu bakr called people and said you have been
[36:56]narrating many a hadith from the prophet yet you dispute among yourselves
[37:02]about them people who come after you will dispute even more about
[37:06]them so from now do not narrate any more hadith from the
[37:13]prophet whoever asked you anything tell them between us and you is
[37:17]the book of allah and accept halal is halal and haram is
[37:20]also narrates from aisha the daughter of abu bakr she says my
[37:26]father compiled 500 hadith from the prophet one night during his khilafah
[37:32]he was uneasy and he didn't sleep the whole night in the
[37:34]morning he called me and he said my daughter bring me those
[37:37]hadith that i have with you so i brought them to him
[37:40]and he burnt them all he then said i worry that i
[37:46]die and there has been any hadith that i have narrated from
[37:47]the prophet through a person that i assumed to be honest and
[37:51]trustworthy where he was not i do not wish to carry responsibility
[37:54]of the wrong narration on my neck so he burnt the hadith
[38:00]whatever the reason was he burnt it we see it during the
[38:03]reign of omar another one ibn saad narrates from ottawa that umar
[38:07]decided to write down the hadith of the prophet he sought the
[38:11]opinion of the companions about the matter to which they positively consented
[38:15]nonetheless so amar thought about it for a month and then announced
[38:18]i had in mind to write down the hadith of the prophet
[38:22]yet i remembered nations before you those who wrote their books and
[38:25]abandoned the book of allah by allah i will never mix the
[38:30]book of allah with anything else even sad continues in this hadith
[38:35]he says umar took an oath from people to bring all the
[38:37]books of hadith they had compiled and when they all brought the
[38:39]books together he burnt them and set them all on fire during
[38:43]the reign of uthman we see the companion abudhar refused to accept
[38:50]a total ban on narrating the hadith and in response he said
[38:53]by allah if they threaten me by a sword to stop narrating
[38:57]the hadith of rasulullah i would rather die than stop narrating his
[39:02]hadith and it is the belief that this is why he was
[39:03]exiled and why he died on his own during the reign of
[39:10]muawiyah muhammad wrote an official letter with the content to all his
[39:15]delegates announcing that whoever narrates anything about the virtue of ali ibn
[39:19]abi talib or his family is not under the protection of the
[39:21]government it's another bound hadith here we have so many ideas about
[39:28]the banning of hadith themselves that we find fabricated and ironic hadith
[39:32]because they are hadith themselves and they're talking about banning hadiths so
[39:36]here we find them and they are definitely fabricated here imam ahmad
[39:41]ibn humble here narrates that the prophet said do not quote me
[39:47]in other than the quran so whoever has written anything from me
[39:51]other than the quran erase it number two ahmad also narrates the
[39:58]messenger of allah prohibited us from writing anything from him and he
[40:05]erased them narration number three and finally narrates from abu hurairah he
[40:10]says we were sitting writing what we were what we heard from
[40:13]the prophet when the prophet arrived he asked what we were writing
[40:18]we said what we have heard from you rasool allah so he
[40:22]said are you compiling a book besides the book of allah we
[40:25]said we're writing what we hear from you so he said the
[40:28]prophet now says write the book of allah write only the book
[40:34]of allah are you writing other than the book of allah write
[40:37]only the book of allah so abu hurairah said we followed the
[40:42]instruction of the prophet and we collected our writings and burnt them
[40:46]in a fire which is quite remarkable itself because no one has
[40:51]narrated more from the prophet than abu hurairah himself but that's another
[40:53]story for another day so you see this idea of the narrations
[40:59]being done away with was very prevalent and imam al-islam could not
[41:03]risk the plethora of ahadith this great treasure that we had about
[41:08]him and his position in islam and so he did not bring
[41:13]up the hadith and bring up his position with the prophet anymore
[41:18]we now come to the issue of vadak the ruling party feared
[41:22]that fedex would be used to lure people away from their cause
[41:29]because vadak came with great wealth especially when it came to the
[41:32]bani umayya now what is fadak you hear that name a lot
[41:37]what is it fedex is a land that belonged to sadafati malaya
[41:41]salaam it was given to her as a gift by rasulullah it
[41:45]was personally one of rasulullah's belongings it belonged to him it was
[41:50]given to him as a gift by the people of it was
[41:53]not attained through war that land which is attained through war belongs
[41:57]to all the muslims but that land which is given as a
[41:59]gift to the prophet is his this was a gift to the
[42:03]prophet and jubilee told rasulullah give it to fatima and so rasulullah
[42:07]gave this land to zara this belonged to her and this was
[42:11]a vast land a great village she had workers there it had
[42:15]great produce the prophet used to make a lot of wealth from
[42:18]this land and he would spread that amongst the muslims if he
[42:20]wanted to with his money he gave the land to fatima islam
[42:24]became hers it was confiscated from her abu bakr took it from
[42:32]her now at the time he needed the money for the muslims
[42:35]he needed enough money because he gave so much of the money
[42:38]that was in baitul mal to abu sufyan and the umayya to
[42:42]bring them on side he didn't have enough left he started spreading
[42:45]money around to different muslims to give them gifts in order to
[42:49]right now he's sweetening everyone up in the beginning of his rule
[42:53]and this is proven by a narration which states that a woman
[42:58]when she's given the gift she says are you trying to bribe
[43:01]me with my dean you're trying to take my dean away from
[43:03]me by giving me money i won't accept it and she refused
[43:07]the gift this is just a lay person that refused it at
[43:13]one point abu bakr was going to return it to says islam
[43:16]but umar told him wait how are you going to spend on
[43:20]the muslims with what money we need fedex this shows just how
[43:23]much wealth that fedex had that it could spend it could be
[43:28]used to spend so much on thousands of muslims when this all
[43:34]happened she wrote to abu bakr and sent a messenger telling him
[43:38]to give me my land if you are the khalifa give me
[43:41]my land and give me the homs and give me what i
[43:42]uh what is rightfully mine and he responded that prophets do not
[43:48]leave inheritance and she said no i inherited this from my father
[43:54]he gave me this as a gift and he said no the
[43:58]prophets do not leave inheritance this is what i heard the prophet
[44:02]say and so one of them was lying one of them said
[44:06]no it's inheritance the other said no the prophet isn't leave inheritance
[44:09]say the fatima salam asked for it back and he wouldn't give
[44:14]it back and she became angry with him this is interesting because
[44:18]we need to ask how come the widows of the prophet were
[44:22]able to keep their houses did they inherit those houses how come
[44:26]they were all given very special gifts especially the daughter of abu
[44:32]bakr how come before abu bakr passed away he asked aisha for
[44:35]permission to be buried in her house if he asks her permission
[44:40]that means he regards as her house so i have to ask
[44:42]who gave ayesha that house did she inherit it from her deceased
[44:47]husband rasulullah if she did is that not inheritance from the prophet
[44:53]spartimal islam became angry with him and ayasha herself narrates that she
[44:58]was angry with my father and she never spoke to him again
[45:01]this is in sahih bukhari that aisha was angry with abu bakr
[45:07]and later on in other hadith it said she died angry with
[45:12]him right now imam ali alayhi salaam had no more weapons he
[45:17]had no sword that he could use for conflict because this was
[45:21]not a choice for the betterment of islam and he could not
[45:24]even use the narrations and traditions said so often by rasulullah he
[45:31]had one weapon left fatima the revolution now was in fatima's hands
[45:37]and this was because firstly she would evoke the emotions of the
[45:46]muslims because she was the remaining person that symbol of her father
[45:50]the remnant of rasulullah she evoked the emotions of the people that
[45:55]was the first advantage the second advantage was no matter what fatima
[45:58]islam says now when she goes there's not going to be a
[46:01]battle with swords and bloodshed she now spoke on behalf of ali
[46:07]ibn abi talib she became the one to hold his cause and
[46:12]she used fedex as the way to do this of course would
[46:16]not care about a land however extravagant it was and the proof
[46:19]of this is easily in a court of law an islamic court
[46:24]of law one of her witnesses was if they wanted to they
[46:28]can get a second witness from any of the companions that everyone
[46:30]knew were just like salman and ahmad everyone knew they were just
[46:35]companions any one of them would have been a second witness to
[46:37]this but she didn't do that islam stood with her because fedex
[46:43]is hers but she used fedak in a different way instead of
[46:45]taking it to court she used it as a slogan to show
[46:49]the hypocrisy of the ruling party to use it as a main
[46:53]weapon against them and try to wake the people up by showing
[46:56]them look at how he is treating the daughter of your prophet
[46:58]look what he's taken from me so ten days after sacrifice happened
[47:04]ten days after the death of the prophet fatima salaam had still
[47:07]not received what's rightfully hers so she tied a cloth around her
[47:11]head she gathered the woman of the banu hashim and she went
[47:15]to the masjid and she gathered here the sahaba came the muhajireen
[47:19]and the ansar and omar stood before her and she stood and
[47:24]she gave an eloquent khutbah a very famous speech where she began
[47:28]to accuse the ruling party very directly of what they have done
[47:33]that there was a conspiracy she does this publicly in front of
[47:39]everyone and she does this in a distressed voice and she makes
[47:40]some of the ansar and muhajeri they begin to cry as they
[47:44]look at her as she begins to speak and then she starts
[47:50]to say the wound had still not healed and the prophet was
[47:54]still not buried and you go and you claim sedition you claim
[47:58]fitna you did this to save islam from fitna allah sakatu they
[48:06]have already tumbled down into fitness she quotes the words of allah
[48:10]in the quran how you've already fallen into fitna and how eternal
[48:14]are these words how powerful are these words that shook them under
[48:20]their feet took the ground they were standing on she's saying you
[48:24]claimed to be saving islam but you created this fitna you already
[48:28]fell into this fitna and we have to ask if you feared
[48:33]fitness so much then why not ask rasulullah before he passes who
[48:37]should be the khalifa after you rasulallah when you're asking about how
[48:43]to do the hustle on him and how to perform the funeral
[48:46]and the prayer and everything else you don't ask him about the
[48:54]khilafah or do you fear for islam more than the prophet phase
[48:56]that's why you go and you make someone a leader straight away
[48:58]whilst the prophet is still not buried rasulullah warned them he said
[49:03]there is a rebellion sparking off a fitna is coming amongst you
[49:08]like dark pieces of the night he says something is coming and
[49:13]subhanallah before he passes he stands in bahr he speaks to the
[49:18]graves and he says he cries and he says how lucky are
[49:21]the people here how lucky are you all to not be alive
[49:25]right now because what is to come is a great sedition a
[49:28]great fitness about to ensue and he was not speaking about the
[49:32]problems that were going to happen 30 years from then with the
[49:35]battle of jamal for example if someone wants to say that or
[49:38]even the apostate battles which were to happen soon after because here
[49:44]he's speaking to marty's people abroad in bakiyam marty's he doesn't fear
[49:48]for them to apostasize from islam he is speaking about this edition
[49:55]that was to come at this moment that says referring to she
[50:02]looks around and she starts to accuse them and then she says
[50:06]for everything there is a wasilla and the wasilla to allah is
[50:15]us then she says you can inherit from your father but i
[50:19]cannot inherit from mine didn't there would give inheritance to sulaiman she
[50:27]looked at the muhajareen and the ansar who looked embarrassed in front
[50:31]of her she said how can you watch me how can you
[50:33]see him taking my right before your very eyes and none of
[50:38]you come to my aid she said i await the day when
[50:43]allah is the judge and muhammad is the leader and the day
[50:49]is a very intelligent strategy she was using proofs from the islamic
[50:58]text in the quran because it was going to show if abu
[51:03]bakr was to retreat and give her the land of fedex it
[51:05]would show that from the clearest laws of islam of inheritance he
[51:11]didn't even know them so how could he be fit to be
[51:13]the khalifa of islam if he was going to go against them
[51:16]and he didn't know them if that was the claim and if
[51:19]he refused what she was speaking right now and her proofs then
[51:22]he would be refusing the quran and someone who refuses the quran
[51:25]should not be sitting in the place of rasulallah this shook abu
[51:29]bakr so much that he actually was writing up a document to
[51:33]return vedak but um stopped him as i mentioned and said how
[51:36]are you going to spend on the muslims so he didn't accept
[51:39]for abu bakr to give it back to her say the fatima
[51:42]alaya salaam tried her best with all that she could to fight
[51:49]this fight in the middle of the night she used to go
[51:51]with imam ali alayhi salaam and they would even take al-hasan hussain
[51:55]they would go to the houses of the chiefs they would go
[51:59]to the houses of people of badr they'd go to the people
[52:03]of the ansar and to speak to them he would take fatima
[52:07]and his sons reminding them these are the symbols of your prophet
[52:13]the remnants remember remember what happened remember you gave bayahat to me
[52:16]he was trying his best so no one could ever say that
[52:18]the imam did not try everything he tried everything this was peaceful
[52:23]resistance now and they said to say she would speak and she
[52:27]would speak on behalf of ali not because ali couldn't yamali was
[52:32]the peak of eloquence because she was the daughter of the prophet
[52:34]she had something no one else had and people were affected but
[52:40]they would say oh daughter of rasulullah we pledged allegiance to uber
[52:45]right now i mean what are we supposed to do if imam
[52:47]ali was there we would have pledged allegiance to him if he
[52:51]was present and then imam he says what would you have me
[52:55]do you wanted me to come and argue about the khilafah whilst
[52:59]the prophet still unburied i mean just imagine it imagine the imam
[53:02]leaves the prophet and goes and says no no i'm the imam
[53:05]what are you doing he wouldn't do that do you want me
[53:09]to leave the prophet unburied and for me to go and argue
[53:10]about the khilafah so says what he was supposed to do it
[53:19]is they who will be judged upon what they did began to
[53:22]fall ill her wounds became great her fever became greater she started
[53:29]to struggle a group of women went to visit her when she
[53:34]was becoming sick and as they sat amongst her she reminded them
[53:38]she said i now detest your world and your men and the
[53:46]woman had their heads down because they knew that men had betrayed
[53:49]the rightful imam and she said that the people were still jealous
[53:55]of imam ali and held a grudge against him for the days
[53:58]gone by the days of jahiliyyah for he had killed many of
[54:03]their relatives when they were enemies of islam as the days went
[54:08]by and the issue was settled and said grew more and more
[54:14]sick abu bakr and umar decided to go and seek forgiveness from
[54:21]saying they wanted to apologize so they went to knock on her
[54:24]house on her door they wanted to come in and she refused
[54:27]she would not let them then they asked immanuel islam to intercede
[54:32]so the imam asked say this and so says accepted from the
[54:38]imam so they came inside as they came they said salaam alaikum
[54:41]and she did not respond their salam and she turned her face
[54:45]from them as they stood there trying to apologize to her she
[54:49]turned and she said did you hear about what rasulullah used to
[54:54]say about me they said yes and she said did you hear
[54:58]when he said what pleases fatima pleases me he said yes and
[55:04]did you hear when he said whatever displeases fatima this pleases me
[55:09]they said yes he said i bear witness to allah that you
[55:13]both have hurt me and i do not forgive you and i
[55:17]will complain to my father about you and what you did to
[55:23]me these words once again made their grounds beneath their feet shake
[55:27]sarah became more and more sick as time went by it's reported
[55:33]three to six months after the death of the prophet were her
[55:39]last days when it came to the day when she knew she
[55:45]would leave this world she struggled to stand up and she wanted
[55:49]to make food on this day asma her helper came to help
[55:53]her said no i want to make this food she made the
[55:57]food and she bathed al-hasan with her saying her children and then
[56:00]she dressed them and she fed them and she tried her best
[56:04]to act as normal as she could as if she had no
[56:05]fever and no wound to tend to here the hearts of her
[56:11]sons were heavy they felt something was off but she was trying
[56:14]her best to smile in their faces and then she sent them
[56:18]to the masjid and then she laid imagine islam came to her
[56:22]and she said yeah ali you know why i did that he
[56:24]stood he held her hand she said they've been going through so
[56:29]much they've suffered so much i wanted to make them happy i
[56:31]wanted to see them happy but we both know what's coming i'm
[56:38]about to leave this world the ali i'm sad because i'm going
[56:42]to be leaving you i'm happy that i will see my father
[56:49]but i am sad to depart from you your mission carries on
[56:52]you must promise me that your days will not be days of
[56:58]bitterness when you remember me i don't want you to always feel
[57:05]hurt i want you to stand strong in the times to come
[57:07]do you promise me and the imam looked at her as tears
[57:12]strolled down his eyes he said i promise and she said ya
[57:17]ali hussain is very sensitive give him special attention be a mother
[57:24]to him as well and the imam's tears were scrolling down and
[57:28]dropping onto their hands she told him don't cry ali don't cry
[57:32]you always have such a tough exterior but i know your heart
[57:36]is so tender she said yeah ali bury me in the night
[57:43]don't let any of them come to my funeral that is my
[57:49]final will farewell my beloved my imam farewell my husband farewell here
[57:58]ali please let me have my moments with allah so the imam
[58:03]kissed her and moved away and he went to the masjid to
[58:10]pray here she asked asma to help her lay down towards the
[58:17]qibla and she began to recite words of the quran until her
[58:23]last breath asma began to cry at the loss of the lady
[58:29]of the heavens hussain returned to the house when they came in
[58:36]they saw smack crying and sarah did not greet them at the
[58:40]door they said where is our mother and she told him yeah
[58:44]hussein your mother has left this world and they were shocked and
[58:51]then they ran to the room to see say the zahara laying
[58:53]down lifeless and they began to hug her husband said mother speak
[58:58]to me i am hassan speak to me before my heart bursts
[59:03]and hussain's grabbing her on the other side my mother speak to
[59:05]me you've left us orphans asmr told them go and call your
[59:11]father and tell him what's happened so they ran outside the house
[59:13]and they ran to the masjid as they're running the people are
[59:16]gathering the muslims thought that the sons of rasulallah are coming in
[59:20]this way the way they are running to the masjid that something
[59:24]good has happened but they saw their faces and their tears they
[59:27]said what had happened and they said our mother has left this
[59:30]world they called their father father mother has left this world imali
[59:35]stood and it was like his heart dropped and he choked on
[59:42]his breath and then he walked with his sons to the house
[59:45]people came to the house the imam told salman yes salman tell
[59:50]the people that the funeral was postponed to the night time salman
[59:53]told everyone to leave they left the imam came inside he sat
[59:57]by the body of he waited till the night had passed then
[60:01]he got up and he began to perform the hustle on her
[60:05]as matt was helping him to perform the russo but then smith
[60:08]sees him at one point he goes into the corner he sits
[60:13]down and his head is between his knees and says yeah ali
[60:14]you are the hero of khaibar you are the hero of badr
[60:18]you are the one who lifted the gates why are you crying
[60:22]so much he's crying like a child and he says as i
[60:28]was doing the russo my hands went over the cracked ribs the
[60:32]ribs she would never complain about never complained to me about her
[60:38]pain he stood up as much as he could he tried to
[60:40]gather his strength he wrapped her in her shroud in the middle
[60:44]of the night they waited until late in the night only a
[60:49]few trusted companions he had with him his main followers the same
[60:53]ones he brought hassan and hussein and they carried her and they
[60:57]went out into a secret place no one knows where and here
[61:02]he told that hassan hussain he narrates when i felt like it
[61:08]was the final goodbye i told hassan hussein say goodbye to your
[61:12]mother and they jumped on her and they hugged her and embraced
[61:15]her and said mother send our salams to our grandfather and now
[61:19]we are orphaned like him like he was then he sends everyone
[61:27]back the imam was crying so much the children were crying so
[61:31]much that imam ali islam says that one of the angels he
[61:32]heard a voice of the angels tell him ya ali remove hussain
[61:37]from the chest of zahara because we cannot bear to see the
[61:42]way he is crying the way he is mourning and we have
[61:46]to ask them how were you able to see shimmer sitting on
[61:53]the chest of hussein on the day of karbala the young hussein
[61:58]the young hassan were taken away islam says to everyone now everyone
[62:03]leaves now the imam he knots the shroud of zara and then
[62:07]he places her blessed body into the grape and he begins to
[62:12]put the dirt over the grave and then he sits by the
[62:17]grave until the morning and he cries looks into the stars my
[62:23]beloved zahara you have left this world and he speaks to rasulullah
[62:27]yeah rasulullah i have now lost you and i have lost fatima
[62:38]what was given has now been taken back and the amana is
[62:46]returned ask her in detail what happened let her tell you what
[62:49]occurred with us when you left this world as for me my
[62:57]days will now be in agony grief and pain but i carry
[63:03]on with the mission that you bestowed upon me and he stays
[63:07]under the moonlight until he stands to go back home tired heartbroken
[63:15]he opens the door to his home and sees al-hasam al-hussein still
[63:21]awake crying only a few months prior he came home from the
[63:26]masjid and saw hasan hussain and zahara crying but now there was
[63:32]no mozara and abu-turab is now also abul he is the father
[63:40]of the orphans now and this of course leaves him with a
[63:43]heavy heart imam ali had a soft spot for orphans but now
[63:48]he looked at hasan hussain not often from any lady but often
[63:52]from the lady of light fatima and there is a beautiful poem
[64:01]attributed to imali that he wrote in those days and some even
[64:04]say on that night where he speaks to say the fatima and
[64:07]i wanted to read it and end the session with this poem
[64:12]the imam asks is there a way in which the duration of
[64:19]life could be prolonged and by which this death will not change
[64:22]things and cause separation and even though i surely believe in death
[64:32]as a truth i remain hopeful of our meeting i see the
[64:37]problems of life surround me a great deal and even after death
[64:42]these problems remain but i surely miss the one i truly love
[64:51]is there a path i could take to reach my dear one
[64:56]for every meeting between two loved ones there is separation and everything
[65:02]apart from separation is trivial and certainly all my yearning for fatima
[65:09]after ahmad is proof that no beloved will ever last forever if
[65:16]at a moment life ends indeed the cries of the mourners is
[65:24]little that is why now when i sleep on my side in
[65:30]solitude and i do not feel loneliness because the fire within my
[65:37]heart due to the separation of my beloved boys
