[12:14]of the eighth Imam one of the foundations of our faith faith
[12:32]and our beliefs is to establish justice and to stand against oppression
[12:39]you see that this is a theme in the Quran this is
[12:45]a theme in the life in the lives of the prophets Allah
[12:49]subhah waala says verily we sent our prophets and our Messengers 124,000
[13:06]prophets and Messengers and we brought down the books for one reason
[13:11]and that is for people to establish justice for people to do
[13:18]that which is right that which is the that which is correct
[13:21]and we see that a foundation in our faith is to stand
[13:28]against oppression to establish Justice and we believe that Allah subhanahu wa
[13:34]ta'ala does not oppress we the followers of theate one of the
[13:40]foundations one of the of the sh is to believe in meaning
[13:46]that God is just and that Justice is something sacred in our
[13:54]eyes we cannot oppress I cannot be an oppressor and still at
[13:57]the same time consider myself a Muslim and consider myself a Believer
[14:03]Allah subhana wa tala does not oppress Allah says in the Quran
[14:12]Allah subhanahu waala does not oppress anyone the oppression comes from people
[14:20]today Sometimes some people might see some things maybe for example there's
[14:26]a natural disaster maybe there's a hurricane Maybe there's a tsunami maybe
[14:29]there's a flood like the one that just took place in Libya
[14:35]where they're estimating over 20,000 people are probably going to lose their
[14:41]life or have lost their life some people when they see this
[14:44]right away they say look this is God this is Injustice coming
[14:47]from God however if we think it through if we think of
[14:54]it thoroughly we will see that the Injustice is not from God
[14:59]go and read the report report s go and read the news
[15:01]you see that a lot of the suffering a lot of the
[15:05]pain it could have been avoidable but it is because of the
[15:08]corruption and because of the mismanagement of individuals and communities and societies
[15:15]and governments that you find thousands of people they lose their life
[15:21]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has a natural system and when there's corruption
[15:26]then there's going to be suffering so it is the duty of
[15:29]the Muslims it is the duty of the Believers one of the
[15:33]obligations of every believer is to establish justice Allah says in the
[15:41]Quran by time indeed the human being is at loss except for
[15:52]several categories except those who have believed do good deeds and establish
[16:02]justice stand for the truth this is an obligation upon every single
[16:07]one of us and to be patient now my dear brothers and
[16:15]sisters oppression and a lot of us when we think of Oppression
[16:18]what is oppression what is according to Hadith from and from they
[16:26]Define oppression as in three types of categories there's three types of
[16:31]Oppression one thei from he says the the oppression is three times
[16:41]three types there's one oppression that Allah subhana tala will never forgive
[16:52]and then there's one one oppression that Allah will not hold you
[16:56]accountable for you are forgiven for and there's a third oppression and
[17:06]that is an oppression that will stay connected with a person until
[17:11]a person finds the solution for so what is the what is
[17:14]the oppression that Allah subhah wa tala will never forgive that is
[17:20]Allah says in the Quran Allah subhana tal there's one sin in
[17:37]the book that Allah subhana wa tala does not forgive and that
[17:41]is associating a partner with Allah subhah wa ta'ala meaning you're worshiping
[17:46]other than God instead of worshiping Allah you're worshiping someone or something
[17:52]else and this in itself is one of the greatest acts of
[17:56]Oppression why is it an act of Oppression imagine your mother cared
[18:02]for you your mother carried you for 9 months in her womb
[18:04]she loved you she raised you and then you go and you
[18:08]find another lady another person and you start treating the other person
[18:11]as your mother and you disregard your mother isn't thisum isn't this
[18:17]oppression that is oppression now multiply that by hundredfold a millionfold Allah
[18:25]subhah wa ta'ala we have received blessings and benefit and sustenance from
[18:29]Allah that is much more than what a mother could give but
[18:31]you find some people they do not worship God and they go
[18:36]and they worship something else this is this is oppression to God
[18:40]and this is an oppression that Allah does not forgive why because
[18:44]the person has cut off the chain of forgiveness because if I
[18:48]believe in God then anything I do wrong I turn to Allah
[18:53]and Allah will forgive me for that but if a person is
[18:54]worshiping someone or something else how are they going to be forgiven
[18:59]they've disconnected their line of Toba so this is the one one
[19:06]type of that Allah does not forgive there's another and that is
[19:10]the one that Allah will forgive and this is when we oppress
[19:13]ourselves by sinning when we oppress ourselves by doing Haram whatever sin
[19:20]it is do not give up hope in the mercy of Allah
[19:29]because Allah forgives all of the sins with the exception of sh
[19:33]of course never forgive me the Imam tells him what's wrong with
[19:36]you why are you saying this he says I was from those
[19:40]who participated in the murder of your father Hussein now Imam he
[19:46]tells him the crime and the sin of saying and assuming that
[19:53]God will not forgive is greater than the murder of IM Hussein
[19:55]he doesn't tell him God will forgive you because someone who their
[19:58]soul carries them to participate in the murder of IM Hussein probably
[20:05]their soul is so contaminated that it will be difficult for them
[20:08]to actually turn to God but from God's side Allah forgives Allah
[20:12]subhah wa ta'ala the doors of Mercy are open and then the
[20:21]third type this is the of each other when we have oppressed
[20:24]one another when we have hurt one another when we have abused
[20:29]one another when we steal when we backbite when we make fun
[20:33]of other people sometimes oppression some people have the idea that oppression
[20:38]is only something that a dictator or a king or a tyrant
[20:41]someone who's in position of power that they commit that type of
[20:45]Oppression no sometimes oppression is between a husband and wife sometimes oppression
[20:51]is Between Brothers sometimes oppression is between family members this could be
[20:57]this is a highly likely possibility of Oppression and we have to
[21:01]be very careful some sometimes when we oppress we are committing an
[21:08]act of unjust Injustice an act that is wrong maybe for example
[21:13]you might see someone who is one who is a little bit
[21:18]younger than you who probably has less money than you someone who
[21:21]is unable to defend themselves keep in mind that if you see
[21:26]someone they're unable to defend themselves know that Allah is this person's
[21:31]Defender IM he says my father he says he says when my
[21:43]father IM Hussein was about to be killed when im Hussein the
[21:49]last thing he did when he was saying farewell to his son
[21:53]IM Z he says IM husin he hugged IM he says and
[22:08]then he says what is it he says he says be very
[22:22]careful of oppressing someone that there is no one that will help
[22:26]this person other than God you might find someone you see this
[22:30]person is weak you see this person has no way of Defending
[22:35]themselves know that this person has Allah subhana tala be very careful
[22:39]of that person be very careful of oppressing that person these are
[22:45]the words of IM Hussein minutes and probably hours before he was
[22:53]killed who is the IM that was oppressed the most he has
[23:00]a beautiful statement he says he says I would rather be M
[23:10]I would rather be oppressed that is better for me than being
[23:14]from amongst the oppressors this is why sometimes some people they come
[23:17]and they say why didn't just take power he could have fought
[23:23]them he could have killed them he could have done something and
[23:26]he could have played some tricks just like the others play tricks
[23:29]and he would have been definitely in power but they would come
[23:35]and they would tell him that he says I'm not going to
[23:43]ruin myself to fix you to fix your matters if you want
[23:47]me to be your Imam if you want me to be a
[23:48]rightful leader then I'm going to do what Allah subhana tala has
[23:54]commanded me to do whoever wants to join will join but I'm
[23:56]not going to ruin myself so that I could fix you and
[24:01]that I could be your IM no and this is a very
[24:06]beautiful philosophy on life that teaches us Sometimes some of us because
[24:10]of other people because of relationships because of work because of um
[24:15]some type of things we have commitments we have in life we
[24:19]compromise our relationship with God for these temporal for these temporary relationships
[24:26]and this is wrong mentality on life teaches us be a better
[24:34]than being a and in his last words to his sons IM
[24:40]Hassan and IM Hussein and those who were listening to his he
[24:44]tells them he tells them always keep this a philosophy in life
[24:53]be an enemy be a an arrow in the face of aim
[24:59]of an oppressor and always be a supporter of the of those
[25:04]who are oppressed and you see the sh identity has always revolved
[25:08]around that you see our IMS was Iman was mum IM Hussein
[25:17]was mlum and all of the imams of the they were oppressed
[25:20]and they teach us it's okay to be M but do not
[25:25]be from the do not be from the oppressors and disassociate yourself
[25:32]with any Act of Oppression disassociate yourself with any act any individual
[25:38]whether it's a person whether it's a government whatever it is if
[25:43]they're hurting other people refrain from that he teaches us that you
[25:52]should not even oppress an ant not even an ant one day
[25:54]during hisa a man I M was the head of government and
[26:00]he was the judge as well so one day a man comes
[26:04]and he brings him a type of sweet a dish he knocks
[26:06]on the door he mentions this in he says and I am
[26:11]surprised at this at this knocker who comes and knocks on the
[26:14]door and he brings a suite a dish and tells him what
[26:21]is this this is or Z because that is Haram upon us
[26:24]then the man he tells him no this is a had this
[26:29]is a gift tells him you've come you've used the gift to
[26:36]come and try to fool me you've used the gift to come
[26:41]and bring away from the [Applause] truth he says if I were
[27:00]to be given this whole dun and the Seven layers and levels
[27:03]of this dun and all that it has to take a grain
[27:08]a piece of grain from an ant wrongfully I would not do
[27:13]that and then he says he says this of yours look at
[27:19]he was the top student of this is why did not buy
[27:27]this D and did not care for this Dunya he did not
[27:29]treat it he did he treated it as if it was nothing
[27:34]he says W he says this dun of yours that people are
[27:46]fighting for fighting for power fighting for money oppressing one of one
[27:50]each each other this is worth less worth less than a piece
[27:56]of grass in the mouth of a grass Hopper that is chewing
[28:00]on how much value does that have says this is worth less
[28:06]than that for me and then he says he says what does
[28:15]Ali have with a a blessing that comes to an end find
[28:19]me the richest person find me the wealthiest person their comes to
[28:24]an end there's an expiration date on everything that you have the
[28:28]only thing that does not have an expiration date is your relationship
[28:31]with God is the Good Deeds that you do the that you
[28:37]built that does not have an expiration date because the is eternal
[28:41]Allah subhah wa tala says this D whatever it is it's going
[28:49]to come to an end and and the IMs of the they
[28:50]understood that so this is why my dear brothers and sisters we
[28:56]have to be very careful in this D not to oppress sometimes
[28:59]people oppress because of a bite to eat sometimes people oppress because
[29:04]of a few dollars sometimes people oppress because of some simple things
[29:10]in this Dunya those who are connected with God those who have
[29:15]the IM and the tawa they're very careful to make sure that
[29:18]they do not make their soul contaminated with the talk of this
[29:28]D there's an interesting beautiful story of a scholar who lived in
[29:36]the 10th Islamic Century this man he was young before he became
[29:41]a scholar this young man one day a young man is walking
[29:51]in perhaps in a city in Iran by the name of aril
[29:53]and he is walking there he sees a farm and he's walking
[30:00]by farms and he passes by a river of water a stream
[30:07]of water he's drinking from that water and he sees an apple
[30:11]he sees an apple it comes and it comes to him and
[30:17]without thinking he takes the apple and he eats it after he
[30:20]eats it he thinks to himself he says whose Apple was this
[30:25]I did not buy this apple this apple did not belong to
[30:28]me whose apple is this so he asks him he begins to
[30:34]ask himself why did I eat from this apple it's not even
[30:36]mine I just took it I found it and I took it
[30:40]and I I thought of it as it's being mine and I
[30:43]ate it right away so he said no this might be this
[30:45]might belong to someone even something as simple as an Apple so
[30:51]he said I want to go and find who's the owner of
[30:53]this Farm where did this apple come from he goes back and
[30:57]he starts walking walking and walking he starts tracing where this apple
[31:02]might have fallen from and he sees that there's a farm that
[31:05]has an apple tree and this Apple has fallen into that stream
[31:11]he goes and he knocks on the door and he tells the
[31:14]person I probably I ate from your Apple and I want to
[31:20]ask you for forgiveness make it Halal upon me make it Halal
[31:24]upon me because I don't want to be judged as someone who
[31:28]has stolen or taken something that does not belong to me that
[31:32]man he tells him yes this is my apple he tells him
[31:37]okay do you forgive me or do you make it Halal upon
[31:41]me he tells him no unfortunately I don't he tells him why
[31:45]what do I have to do he tells him if you want
[31:49]this apple to be Halal upon you you have to do certain
[31:51]things for me tells him what is it what do I have
[31:55]to do for this apple to be halal he tells him you
[32:01]have to marry my daughter he says marry your daughter he says
[32:07]yes but there's one catch my daughter she's blind and she is
[32:15]mute she cannot speak and she's deff she can't hear you have
[32:21]to marry her this is the only way this apple becomes Halal
[32:27]upon you this man he thinks for a while and this is
[32:33]a very tough decision in life so after a while he contemplates
[32:36]and he says I will accept to marry your daughter so I
[32:48]mean getting married to a normal beautiful everything is hard as it
[32:55]is now imagine with all these conditions so here this young man
[32:59]he goes and the father he does theab he does the marriage
[33:05]and this young man he goes and he sees the bride he
[33:07]sees she's the most beautiful and she could see and she could
[33:13]hear and there's nothing wrong with her there's nothing absolutely nothing wrong
[33:17]with her so then he goes back to the man he says
[33:22]I think you gave me the wrong person the man tells him
[33:26]where could I where could I have found someone who wants to
[33:30]make sure that the the food that they're eating is halal I've
[33:36]been praying my whole life to make sure that someone comes who
[33:38]is looking for Halal who does not want to oppress who does
[33:41]not want to do wrong and when you came and you knocked
[33:45]on the door I realized that I found the perfect person the
[33:50]F perfect match for my daughter because my daughter she is blind
[33:54]from looking at the Haram she has never seen the Haram and
[33:57]and she is blind from or she is mute from speaking the
[34:02]Haram she's never said any she's never done anything Haram and she
[34:05]does not listen to the Haram this was how what he meant
[34:10]when he was saying that they get married and this marriage this
[34:14]is what is mentioned in the history this marriage The Offspring and
[34:21]the child that they have becomes one of the holiest and the
[34:24]most sacred of the scholars that is known amongst the Shia a
[34:28]scholar by the name ofed who is known as they call him
[34:38]Al he is a saint because of how he lived his life
[34:44]why because of his parents because his mother and his father made
[34:48]sure that they do not oppress made sure that they do not
[34:51]steal even as something as simple as an apple they make sure
[34:55]the father makes sure that he does not take take that wrongfully
[34:58]and you have that kind of halal food and that type of
[35:06]Halal income then your Offspring will be pure so my dear brothers
[35:11]and sisters we see that there's an insistence from the IMs of
[35:16]the that they made sure to be very careful they they they
[35:24]tell and instruct their sh and their followers to be very careful
[35:28]from committing any Act of Oppression from committing anything wrong and the
[35:34]Quran says this the Quran says maybe sometimes you yourself you're not
[35:40]committing the you're not doing anything wrong but maybe you're supporting someone
[35:45]who is committing the wrong meaning supporting the and you will be
[35:52]held accountable for supporting the the they're enjoying the D they're enjoying
[35:56]the Haram you're just supporting this person but you will have to
[35:59]pay for it on the day of judgment and Allah says in
[36:02]the Quran be very careful do not associate yourself with oppressors and
[36:14]tyrants because the fire that burns them will also catch on to
[36:17]you the fire that is they are going to burn in will
[36:22]also burn you and the IMs of the here is how we
[36:24]get to IM the IM of the they were very careful in
[36:30]instructing their sh and their followers to disassociate with all types of
[36:35]Oppression look at IM look at the IMs of the all of
[36:44]Ben um stay away from them because Ben umya were all contaminated
[36:48]with the oppression that was committed maybe one person maybe it was
[36:55]yazid maybe it was muawiya but the whole clan because of eating
[36:58]Haram because of getting themselves in a toxic environment and atmosphere they
[37:04]will they were all contaminated with the Haram and this is why
[37:08]the imams of the they would instruct all their followers to stay
[37:12]away from oppression one of the companions of IM by the name
[37:17]of Subhan Allah this man he was one of the companions of
[37:25]IM sad then he turned against IM and he was from the
[37:27]leader of the where he did not follow IM and he he
[37:32]suffered but Subhan Allah ironically this is a story where he brings
[37:36]someone to he ends up losing himself that's a different story but
[37:42]here he says I saw a man in kufa who comes to
[37:47]me and he tells me I want to be forgiven I want
[37:50]Allah to forgive me and this man used to work for Ben
[37:55]umya he was he used to do some work for Bena collect
[37:58]money carry out certain acts for B so he says I took
[38:02]him by the hand I took him to IM IM sad saw
[38:07]him and the man he tells the IM I want Allah to
[38:12]forgive me the Imam tells him you want Allah to forgive you
[38:15]but you are so contaminated with you have committed so much by
[38:24]supporting bani and then the IM tells him if bani because they
[38:26]had people like you that support them and that do the donkey
[38:30]work for them our H and our rights was taken away from
[38:35]us so then the Imam tells him the Imam tells him you
[38:40]want God to forgive you I will give you away for God
[38:45]to forgive you and I will guarantee you Paradise but you have
[38:47]to guarantee me that you do certain things he tells him I
[38:53]want you to disassociate yourself from all of the Haram money that
[38:58]you have all of the Haram money the man he tells the
[39:03]Imam all of my money is Haram all of my money is
[39:05]Haram the Imam tells him you disassociate yourself with the Haram money
[39:10]and I will guarantee you Paradise the man puts his head down
[39:18]for a while and he says I will do it Al Hamza
[39:20]says we went back to kufa and this man the Imam tells
[39:24]him you either people who you've taken money from the unjustly you
[39:27]give it back to them and if you don't know whose it
[39:31]is you go and you do s on their behalf this is
[39:34]called so the the man he says he started giving giving giving
[39:39]giving and he started giving away everything until he had nothing even
[39:43]the clothes that he was wearing he gave it away Alam he
[39:47]says we went and we bought him some clothes because he had
[39:50]nothing and he goes and he stays in his home he says
[39:55]I came to check up on him a while later I saw
[39:59]that this man has become sick he's become frail and he has
[40:03]nothing he's given up everything because all of his money was Haram
[40:06]and then he says we kept checking up on him until the
[40:11]man was dying the man was dying he says we visited him
[40:14]while he was on his deathbed as he is dying he tells
[40:23]me the the your IM the IM s he kept his promise
[40:28]the man he saw during those moments he saw Paradise he says
[40:35]you're the Imam IM has kept his promise he said the man
[40:39]died and we buried him then he says I went to Medina
[40:45]and I saw Imad he says as soon as I entered on
[40:48]Imad now IM sad is in Medina this man is in kufa
[40:51]he says as soon as I entered IM sad before before I
[40:55]even walked in he he tells me oh we have kept our
[41:07]promise to your to your friend meaning the Imam knew that this
[41:10]man had died and he knew exactly what had happened to him
[41:14]but the man purified himself by distancing himself from the Haram and
[41:22]another Hadith from IM M there's a companion of IM by the
[41:31]name of you know the Z of that you recited a few
[41:34]days ago who was the narrator of this Zara safan safan he
[41:40]was a camelier he has camels and at that time they used
[41:43]to rent out camels this man safan he would travel with IM
[41:49]he would travel with IM tobala and he would hear the Zara
[41:52]and he records the Zara and he gave us the Zara this
[41:56]is why also and there's another man by the name of Al
[42:00]on the day of we read du these people they would travel
[42:05]with the IM he sees him he tells him oh safan everything
[42:11]in you is perfect except one thing tells him what is it
[42:17]he says you rent out your camels to harun Haron is the
[42:21]Khalifa and you're renting out your camels so safan he tells him
[42:29]but my master harun he goes to Hajj with these camels he
[42:32]takes a caravan hundreds of camels and he goes to with him
[42:37]with them he tells him still this is wrong this is you're
[42:40]supporting the he tells him don't you want to get paid he
[42:45]says yes I want to get paid he says that means you
[42:46]want him to stay alive that means you want him to remain
[42:50]so then this man safan Jamal he says I went and I
[42:57]sold the whole whole Fleet of camels the whole all the camels
[43:00]that he had he goes and he sells them because he doesn't
[43:04]want to have Haram income he doesn't want to be supporting theim
[43:06]he says I went and I sold them and harun summoned me
[43:11]harun called me he tells me I know you sold them because
[43:17]M ja told you I know you sold them because M ja
[43:19]told you if not for you being a close friend to us
[43:24]and you after an old age you've always been with us and
[43:29]and and been with us and we know you I would have
[43:31]killed you right away safan tells him I became old and these
[43:36]and the workers they're not working enough so I decided to sell
[43:40]them but the reality is he sold them because he did not
[43:43]want harun to benefit from them Subhan Allah look how Imam tells
[43:49]safan to go and sell his camels but there was another man
[43:55]who was one of the Great greatest Companions of Imam and he
[43:59]became The Treasure of harun's government IM kadam is in prison and
[44:05]this man he's the treasur of the government of Haron he writes
[44:10]a letter to the IM he tells him please allow me to
[44:14]leave this position I don't want to be in the government of
[44:17]Haron the Imam tells him you have to remain in the government
[44:25]of har however have tawa in Allah here's Scholars they say what's
[44:28]the this man he has to go and sell all of his
[44:32]camels he cannot be in the government of Haron he cannot rent
[44:34]out camels for harun and this man he's in the government and
[44:39]the IM tells him to stay what's the difference between the two
[44:42]they say the difference is one of them has only personal gain
[44:46]personal gain he's benefiting he's renting out his camels he receives personal
[44:50]gain the other one Al he's in the government but he's taking
[44:56]orders from the IM and he's protecting the Shia he's defending the
[44:59]Shia this is why the Imam kept him so this sometimes people
[45:04]they ask this question what if for example I'm voting or I'm
[45:08]getting involved in a government that may be oppressive here's the rule
[45:12]if you are using this position to help other people then it
[45:17]might be okay but if it's just for personal gain personal pleasure
[45:23]personal satisfaction then it becomes Haram now here IM Al his father
[45:29]Haron his his father Imam was killed and poisoned by Haron M
[45:36]comes to power and he forces IM to join the Abbasi government
[45:43]IM became the Crown Prince of course IM did not want to
[45:50]IM was in Medina for most of his imama his imama was
[45:52]about 20 years most of it he was in Medina mmon writes
[45:57]him a letter he tells him I want you to come and
[46:00]be the Crown Prince the Imam tells him no I don't want
[46:02]to be the Crown Prince he says you have to mmon he
[46:04]wanted to make his image look better in front of other people
[46:09]and he's bringing IM and it was a plan but IM he
[46:15]tells him if I come then I will not be involved in
[46:16]any politics I would not be involved in any decision-making any hiring
[46:23]any appointing any removing people and the im.
[46:25]was for to go toan this is why is buried in mashad
[46:32]right now because that was the capital of the Abbasi government during
[46:36]the time of mm some of the Shia they came and they
[46:40]told the Imam or some of the people that did not believe
[46:44]in the IM they come and they say how can you be
[46:47]in the government of these oppressors these tyrants how can you help
[46:51]them and support them and be the Crown Prince in their government
[46:54]a a man from the he hit a knife he hit a
[47:00]knife in his pocket and he says I'm going to kill him
[47:02]if he does not give me a good answer he comes to
[47:06]the Imam and he tells him why is it that you joined
[47:12]the government of mm and he's angry with the Imam the Imam
[47:14]the the knife is hidden the Imam tells him remove your knife
[47:19]and I will answer you and this shows that Allah subhana tala
[47:22]has given some type of knowledge for the imams Tells remove your
[47:28]knife and I will answer you and then he tells him YF
[47:32]Prophet YF he goes and he asks the Pharaoh the he goes
[47:38]and he asks the the government that does not even believe in
[47:40]God he tells them let me be in your government and he
[47:45]is the one who goes to a non-believer he tells him let
[47:48]me be in your government he says first of all mmon is
[47:50]a believer in God and he has forced me I did not
[47:54]choose to do this he has forced me to to be involved
[47:58]in this and he gives them several examples and the man was
[48:00]convinced the man was convinced but of course IM he joined the
[48:06]government not for personal gain he used his power and he used
[48:10]his time and authority and in power to spread the message of
[48:16]Islam to spread the teachings of the bit and to teach people
[48:20]to stand against oppression and against these were the teachings of IM
[48:27]on his way toan he passed by an area by the name
[48:33]ofur and there they say 100,000 scribes meaning 100,000 Scholars they have
[48:42]their pens and their papers in their hands and they were waiting
[48:44]for the IM to pass because this is the son of they
[48:48]a lot of these people have never seen any sahabi they've never
[48:52]seen anyone who resembles the only people that they saw were people
[48:57]who were fighting for power so now they wait they say that
[49:02]when the Imam passed some of these people they fainted when they
[49:05]saw the IM when they saw IM and they tell him tell
[49:10]us aith and the IM was passing he was riding a carriage
[49:15]and he's passing so he removed the cover from the carriage and
[49:18]he tells them I heard from my father M who heard from
[49:22]his father ja who heard from his father from his father from
[49:25]his father from what is the Hadith he says I heard saying
[49:43]will enter you into the sanctuary of God and if you enter
[49:49]into the sanctuary then you are safe from the of Allah and
[49:52]this is what it means when you say this differentiates between the
[49:55]Muslim and the cfir it's one statement but it makes you a
[50:00]Muslim when you become a Muslim then you will receive the mercy
[50:05]of Allah but then the IM he brings his head out once
[50:07]again and he says has conditions it has conditions you have to
[50:18]believe in certain things you have to accept certain things and one
[50:20]of them is believing in me meaning believing in the IMs of
[50:27]the this is why that man who took the who took the
[50:32]man to do and when im when im passed away he died
[50:41]in the prison Alam was the W of the IM meaning he
[50:44]was the one who people would come and they would give their
[50:46]hes they would come and they would give the money that is
[50:49]supposed to go to IM they give it to Al when im
[50:54]passed away Hamza he did not want to hand over the money
[51:01]to Im so what did he say he said IM is in
[51:04]he's an occultation and they began him and several others they began
[51:09]the sect of the meaning they stopped at IM IM many years
[51:15]later he tell he's sitting with his people with his friends with
[51:18]his companions he tells them today Ali Hamza died and he was
[51:27]they washed his body and they did the and they buried him
[51:30]and when they buried him the Angels came down to interrogate him
[51:33]in his grave and they began to ask him he answered what
[51:38]is your he answered who is your prophet he answered who is
[51:44]your first IM he said who's your second IM he said alassan
[51:47]then he said Hussein then he said Z then he said then
[51:52]he said then he said and then they asked him who is
[51:54]your who is the next IM he has no answer he has
[52:00]no answer so IM said the Angels they whipped him in his
[52:06]grave that the whole grave lit on fire this is a Hadith
[52:08]from IM because he did not he refused to accept the imams
[52:13]of his time this is why we have to know the names
[52:17]of the imams and we have to believe in the imams IM
[52:20]he taught people that even if you earn power you have to
[52:25]live a simple life you should not oppress and you should not
[52:31]abuse and The Poets and the scholars they would come and they
[52:35]would visit him and they would learn from the Imam one of
[52:42]the poets Abu noas Abu noas was a famous poet of the
[52:46]time he came to visit the IM and M he would put
[52:51]up a show apparently he would show that he respects the IM
[52:56]M he tells he tells tells Abu all of these poets they
[52:58]came and they gave poetry in Praise of IM but you have
[53:03]not why have you not praised so right away he began to
[53:24]say he says they tell me why have you you are the
[53:41]best of The Poets why have you not praised Al he says
[53:45]how can I got how can I praise Al when jbra was
[53:51]the servant of his grandfather how can I praise someone who is
[53:55]that that great so this is Abu and another poet that comes
[54:03]to visit IM was a poet that many of you have heard
[54:09]of he says for 40 years I I was carrying the wood
[54:16]of the wood of um crucification on my neck a metaphor to
[54:23]mean that for 40 years I have been chased by the governments
[54:26]because I've been praising the bit because he would go around and
[54:29]praising the bit and the government and the authorities would chase him
[54:36]has a famous poem he comes to and the IM he tells
[54:42]him I want you to recite your poetry that you have recited
[54:45]for us so he begins to praise the and then he begins
[54:54]to talk about the graves of the the have graves in KU
[55:04]and there are graves in in was one of the battles where
[55:15]the descendants of Allah A man also by the name of Hussein
[55:17]he was killed from the descendants of talking about the Shah of
[55:30]z z Shah the son of IM Z and from the descendants
[55:34]of and then he says and there is one grave in Bagdad
[55:47]for a pure NS that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has taken him
[55:54]to the highest levels referring to IM then IM who's the son
[56:02]of IM he tells him can I add also a line to
[56:07]your poem he tells him yes it would be my honor then
[56:11]the IM he says he says and there's one grave in this
[56:38]is such a m this is such a Calamity and we wait
[56:40]for the day that Allah will send the Imam who will seek
[56:45]Vengeance for all of the martyred imams he tells I don't know
[56:54]anyone of the who's he points to himself and he says referring
[57:11]to his own grave referring to the grave of IM he says
[57:18]my grave will be in I will be buried there and then
[57:20]the IM he tells his he tells them whoever visits me in
[57:36]my loneliness whoever visits me inan I will visit this person in
[57:43]their lonely time he begins to remind the IM of IM Hussein
[57:54]he begins talking and saying poetry in the tragedy of imin oh
[58:13]fa if you were to see Hussein in the land ofal you
[58:22]would slap your face and you would cry for him and IM
[58:25]continues to cry for IM husin IM was poisoned by m he
[58:34]was buried everyone came out to bury the Imam a huge fun
[58:40]funeral procession for the Imam but this reminds us ofin all of
[58:48]the imams when they died people came out to respect their body
[58:56]to bury them but 's body was left on the sand ofala
