[0:00]can we shake the hands of an elderly non-mahram woman in the

[0:06]Holy Quran Ayah 60 of chapter 24 Surah Allah speaks about a

[0:11]group of women who have reached an age whereby then no longer

[0:17]expected to get married they are referred to asmina Nisa there is

[0:20]a discussion amongst the jurists regarding the relaxation of some hijab rules

[0:26]for them however if they are not to maharam then shaking their

[0:29]hands it's still not permissible since touching the skin of a non-mahram

[0:33]lady is forbidden regardless of her age some ask at what age

[0:40]does a lady become one of the kawad this differs between cultures

[0:43]and Norms since no specific age is stipulated and the main criteria

[0:47]is that they reach an age whereby they are not expected to

[0:53]get married
