[23:00]I would like to congratulate all of you and con congratulate um
[23:04]our living IM Al IM Al Mahi for the birth of his
[23:09]um grandfather Al IM Muhammad jaad Muhammad bakam and we ask Allah
[23:18]to um again accept all your Deeds inshallah um today before we
[23:25]uh continue with our program with Sam say we uh have a
[23:28]group of the youth Who U Were uh with us uh in
[23:32]that Zara and we're going to spend a few minutes uh they
[23:36]would like to come over here and share their experience and maybe
[23:40]their feedback um so uh whoever from the youth that would like
[23:48]to come over uh I think Mah and Mahi abui as well
[23:50]and uh the others who also joined us and even for those
[23:55]who did not join if you want to also come over and
[23:56]probably uh um share your experience and what you would like to
[24:02]say Ahmed you can come over too if you want I know
[24:06]you're uh by the way Ahmed loved the Dasha and since then
[24:08]he didn't take it off yet okay so anyam alayum everyone how
[24:20]are you guys my name is ABD and as some of you
[24:25]all know I was recently blessed to on this amazing and Z
[24:29]Trip with amazing people and it was really fun alhamdulillah I was
[24:35]with some very great people new people that I met and it
[24:38]was just amazing to me and my favorite part uh of whole
[24:43]of this whole trip was the part um of the what is
[24:47]it called the omra part that was my favorite trip uh thing
[24:50]part of it that was my favorite part of it um as
[24:55]soon as I saw the Kaa I just felt all these emotions
[24:56]around me and like I felt spiritually connected to myself W I
[25:00]forgot everything behind me it's something beautiful and the Zar was nice
[25:04]alhamdulillah we went and we saw all of the imams we visited
[25:09]them alhamdulillah we did all our Dua we did all the it
[25:13]was really nice alhamdulillah and I met a lot of new people
[25:17]it was really nice shout out say and everybody uh thank you
[25:26]alhamdulillah Salam alaykum everybody how are you so this was a very
[25:36]beautiful trip of the omon zata trip it was me my dad
[25:40]and some of my folks from Mecca it was very very beautiful
[25:43]the places that we travel to is Saudi Arabia Iraq and Iran
[25:49]very very beautiful I think my favorite part was visiting the Caba
[25:52]um it was a very beautiful site you know I got to
[25:56]touch the cabba I had to do tawa around the Caba AB
[25:58]I got to pray in front of the Caba um I think
[26:02]my uh most favorite part about the trip was visiting the shrine
[26:05]of Imam Hussein um they say if you stand underneath the Dome
[26:10]and you make your wishes um Allah will make them happen so
[26:12]I prayed for everyone here um I'm usually not really a big
[26:18]traveler but this trip changed my mind um I do encourage uh
[26:21]some of you kid some of you kids over here that are
[26:25]my age and younger to go on this trip it was very
[26:27]very beautiful you know I'm not really like I said I'm not
[26:31]really a big traveler but alhamdulillah it was very very beautiful um
[26:35]when I first walked into the shrine of IMA it was like
[26:40]a kingdom and then when I saw all the Shia muslims praying
[26:42]it was it was very wonderful it was very heartwarming touching all
[26:46]the graves and praying and you know I've never thought I'll be
[26:51]able to go to the Middle East the last time I went
[26:52]to the Middle East was in Lebanon when I was 3 years
[26:55]old but I don't even remember it so now I could tell
[26:57]everybody I went to the Middle East now I can tell everybody
[27:00]I touched the Caba now I can tell everybody I visited the
[27:02]imams alhamdulillah it was a it was a very beautiful trip and
[27:08]I encourage everybody to go alhamdulillah alaykum everyone so as you guys
[27:22]heard alhamdulillah we were blessed to go on the and z and
[27:26]alhamdulillah I've been before on both the and Z but this time
[27:29]felt more special because I got to go with people I know
[27:34]and I had already had bonds with them but this strengthened the
[27:37]bonds and it created like a sense of Brotherhood so it was
[27:42]really nice and my favorite part was also the Kaa because you
[27:46]go and there's so many people walking around the Kaa and it
[27:52]never stops and and when you pray in front of the Kaa
[27:54]it's so nice because everyone from the whole world is praying towards
[27:57]the and you get to go and stand in front of it
[28:01]so it feels much greater so alhamdulillah so that's itam so I
[28:12]guess they left the best for last so alikum everyone for anyone
[28:17]who doesn't know me my name is m ham I was also
[28:18]on the trip I was lucky to go on all three parts
[28:22]of the trip and I've never done any the AO before so
[28:25]it was like surprise after surprise after surprise after surprise a lot
[28:31]more surprises and the trip was like was a very big roller
[28:34]coaster cuz like I got sick like the second day on the
[28:39]trip and I stayed sick the entire time and there was like
[28:41]I think in nef in NE like there was this like 10minute
[28:47]period where my hotel room was like a hospital room but everything
[28:51]got better and I think the best part of the Z was
[28:57]um going each maam each m at like 2: a.m.
[29:00]3:00 a.m.
[28:59]4:00 a.m.
[29:00]and like everything's empty and you just get to go up you
[29:04]can touch whatever you want you can do whatever Dua like no
[29:07]one's no one's telling you y ya and yeah you just get
[29:11]to relax and see the view and everything and it was really
[29:13]amazing to go with all the mecca people cuz like you know
[29:17]them really well and you got to know them even more well
[29:19]you know you're eating lunch breakfast dinner even your midnight snacks together
[29:24]so yeah I think it was it was an amazing trip Sol
[29:28]a lot anyone else Ali yeah Ali just for the record uh
[29:40]a lot of these guys when I ask him the same question
[29:43]uh will behind the camera they said the best part was the
[29:47]food so they Hade a lot of Lamp Shop especially in Iran
[29:55]alaykum um as brother M said I I really enjoyed the Zara
[30:00]trip you know I was able to go to all three alhamdulillah
[30:02]uh being with everybody is a different experience you know most of
[30:06]us have probably those who have been to Zara you might have
[30:11]gone from a from Lebanon Pakistan like some random H where you
[30:15]don't know the people but being on a flight together going there
[30:17]and then standing in front of the Caba looking to your left
[30:21]and right and seeing people that you know anud is a very
[30:23]like blessing experience um I wouldn't trade it for anything in the
[30:26]world you know most of us say where would I want to
[30:29]go on vacation if somebody asked me most people would say Cancun
[30:33]somewhere warm I'd probably say I'd do a whole another zot trip
[30:35]again um my favorite part was being with all the shab with
[30:41]the S was there as well seeing all the faces there and
[30:43]we got to do the Dua together visit the makam together uh
[30:47]it's a once- in a-lifetime experience if you you know you're able
[30:50]to go once I say do itum anyone else maybe the sisters
[31:01]no okay I know you had fun so I can speak for
[31:08]you zah okay okay right okay well overall it was really really
[31:17]a nice experience and we we uh oh Miriam yeah yeah of
[31:24]course Miriam come on Miriam come on I know you have something
[31:26]to say yeah wam alaykum everybody my name is maram s um
[31:43]that's my mom over there this was an amazing trip it really
[31:46]was this was my first international trip besides Canada and Cancun um
[31:53]but the best part was I got to do it with my
[31:54]parents I think was the best part I got to do it
[31:57]with my mom and dad and not only that is I got
[32:00]to do it with everybody here everybody here became my family all
[32:03]these Mecca boys became my little brothers it was a lot of
[32:09]fun um it was a big family thing I smiling at me
[32:13]uh double trouble back there Haj Hassan Haj Khaled my my new
[32:20]my new second father's over there um I think they covered most
[32:26]of it good job guys and that's it yeah thank you oh
[32:29]you too that's all I got okay thank you maram and uh
[32:37]U inah we'll get to do it again and anyone else uh
[32:40]would like to say anything okay um well that being said I
[32:45]think we'll continue with our program and I'm honored to welcome afteri
[32:56]Muhammad ald how do I stop this from figure it out how
[33:31]to stop it from moving so alhamdulillah um first of all it
[33:51]is great to be back after being gone for three weeks and
[33:56]as we heard the brothers and sister maram speaking about the experience
[34:01]alhamdulillah it was truly a a blessed experience to be able to
[34:07]visit the perform the visit and all the the graves of all
[34:16]of the that have deceased and of course we went and we
[34:19]went to Sam as well to the home of IM Al so
[34:25]it was truly a blessed experience um every day was memorable probably
[34:32]the most memorable part for me was when I almost got arrested
[34:36]for um reciting Z of that's a story of its own and
[34:46]um alhamdulillah we came out and uh we would do it all
[34:49]over again for the and for brothers uh and sisters we we
[35:00]are beginning the holy month of rajab inshallah probably Saturday will be
[35:08]the first day of this holy month of rajab we have four
[35:12]sacred months four referred to as the Haram months and one of
[35:20]those four is the holy month of rajab and in fact rajab
[35:26]is the beginning of these season of spirituality a lot of people
[35:31]you ask them which season which month is the month of spirituality
[35:34]they'll tell you Shahar Ramadan but in reality Shahar Ramadan is the
[35:40]end of the season Shahar Ramadan is the time that you're supposed
[35:46]to reap the crops but when do you plant the seed when
[35:48]do you get your soul ready when do you get your body
[35:53]physically ready to fast your soul uh spiritually ready to perform Dua
[35:58]you do that during rajab and Shan there's two months that come
[36:04]before the month of Ramadan in rajab you plant the seed in
[36:07]shaan you water that seed in Ramadan you reap the crops you
[36:12]reap the reward a lot of people the month of Ramadan comes
[36:15]and they're not ready they don't know how to have that spirituality
[36:18]with Allah subhah wa ta'ala the answer is because we did not
[36:24]start earlier you start now you develop the habit of of Dua
[36:27]you develop the habit of fasting you develop the habit of having
[36:34]a conversation with Allah subhanahu wa tala inshallah tomorrow during Friday prayer
[36:38]we will talk about the merits of rajab and the reward of
[36:43]fasting in rajab and the reward of the and the duas that
[36:44]are to be recited during the month of rajab another great feature
[36:50]of the month of rajab is that it is a month of
[36:52]connection with the so you connect with God spirit spirituality but you
[37:00]also during the month of Raj there's a lot of reward in
[37:03]the Z of the there's a lot of Islamic dates important Islamic
[37:10]dates the birth of is on the 13th of the of the
[37:17]day the prophet was commissioned to deliver the message of Islam is
[37:22]on the 27th of rajab and then you also have the birth
[37:27]of IM the birth of and several of the IMs of the
[37:33]important days for them are during the month of rajab the first
[37:40]of rajab is the birth of Imam Muhammad Al the fifth IM
[37:44]of so inshallah tonight we will dedicate tonight to learning more about
[37:50]the fifth IM of unfortunately many of us we don't know much
[37:55]about our imams we know about IM Ali we know about IM
[37:58]Hussein we know about but you ask them about IM IM jaad
[38:05]many people don't have much to know this is why we take
[38:12]this opportunity to learn more about the lives of our imams IM
[38:18]Muhammad bakam is known as The Scholar of Al Muhammad now of
[38:21]course all of the imams were Scholars all of the imams were
[38:28]but IM he had he and his son IM ja they had
[38:32]the opportunity to spread the knowledge to disseminate the knowledge we know
[38:38]the imams of the they live through difficult circumstances IM Hussein was
[38:44]killed IM Z he did not have the freedom to go and
[38:50]speak publicly so he started teaching people through Dua through then you
[38:55]have a brief time period where the imams of theit had some
[38:59]relative Freedom not total freedom some relative freedom and this began with
[39:09]IM Muhammad this is why we the followers of the we take
[39:13]90% or 95% of ouram our laws our rulings we take them
[39:21]from these two imams IM Muhammad alak and his son IM ja
[39:24]this is why the in terms of Juris Prudence they call the
[39:31]sh they call them Jai why because it goes to IM ja
[39:39]but before IM jaad it was his father IM who began to
[39:45]disseminate the knowledge and this was a name that gave him means
[39:51]the one who disseminates the one who spreads the knowledge named him
[39:57]he tells one of the companions of he the story of the
[40:06]of IM Hussein we mentioned the story of jabir he was the
[40:08]first visitor of IM Hussein tells jab he tells him oh jab
[40:15]he was seeing IM Hussein as a child he tells him you
[40:18]love him he says yes of course I love him he tells
[40:23]him you're going to see his son Ali who is named named
[40:27]him the adornment of the worshippers and then he tells him and
[40:31]you will also see his grandson Muhammad Bak his name is my
[40:37]name and his title is albak when you see him give him
[40:43]my Salam this is whydah he becomes an old man he used
[40:49]to walk around and saying people thought this man had gone mad
[40:52]he's walking around Medina saying yak yak tell him what's wrong wrong
[40:58]with you why do you keep saying that he says told me
[41:00]that I'm going to see the grandson of Al Hussein he goes
[41:05]to the house of IM Zin and he sees a child he
[41:07]tells him walk in front of me what's your name and then
[41:11]he finds out his Muhammad he tells him your grandfather sent Salam
[41:15]to you so IM replied he said and peace be upon my
[41:23]grandfather and peace be upon you oh Jab imak during his life
[41:29]he had the opportunity to sit in the Masjid of the prophet
[41:35]and educate people and he began to teach people all types of
[41:39]knowledge people from all over the Muslim World they would travel to
[41:43]sit in front of IM and at that time right now for
[41:50]example if you think of Oxford you think of Harvard you think
[41:53]of the top universities people from all over the world they come
[41:57]to these universities to study in these Universities at that time this
[42:02]was the beginning of the Muslim Golden Era where people from all
[42:05]over the world they would travel to the Muslim part of the
[42:08]world to seek knowledge you know the first surgeries the first hospitals
[42:18]the first um Sciences algebra and chemistry and these sciences that today
[42:23]we are so proud of and we benefit and the whole world
[42:26]benefits from they all started during the Muslim Golden Era and the
[42:33]IMs of the IM and IM they had a huge impact on
[42:35]that Muslim Golden Era that Muslim Renaissance of in intellectual Renaissance that
[42:42]was going on and you had not only sh followers of coming
[42:49]and listening to imak No you had all Muslims Sunni people who
[42:52]believed in them as imams or people who didn't and you had
[42:55]others they would come one of the narrators he he says he
[43:11]says I never saw the the scholars they look so small in
[43:18]front of IM when they sit in front of IM these giant
[43:21]Scholars they would be they would feel so small because of the
[43:29]great intellectual power and strength and knowledge of IM he says he
[43:42]says I saw one of this big Scholars his name is he
[43:47]says this man is so he's respected everywhere but he sits like
[43:52]a young child like a student in front of IM this was
[43:56]the knowledge of IM Al bakam and he would sit and educate
[44:04]his companions and educate people one of the companions one of the
[44:09]companions Muhammad Muslim he narrates 30,000 Hadith from IM another companion he
[44:17]narrates 70,000 Hadith from IM alak now the question is what type
[44:25]of knowledge did the IM teach the IM am would teach all
[44:29]types of knowledge some people when they think of a Islamic scholar
[44:31]they say all he talks about is Quran and Hadith and and
[44:38]things pertaining to Islam the imams of the no they were knowledgeable
[44:44]in all aspects he has a book on medicine the golden treaties
[44:52]on medicine IM used to teach geology and Anatomy and physics and
[44:59]these Sciences one of the narrators he says that the Khalifa came
[45:05]all the way from Damascus ald Malik he comes and the governor
[45:14]of Medina ABD was giving him a tour of the mjid of
[45:19]Al the Masjid of the Prophet had gone through an expansion and
[45:22]this was financed by Al ABD Malik so he's coming he's seeing
[45:30]the building and the governor ABD is giving him a tour he
[45:33]says they entered into the mid and they see a class is
[45:37]in session in the Masjid and this is how a Masjid should
[45:39]be some people that have the idea that a Masjid is just
[45:43]a place of prayer yes prayer you pray the five five daily
[45:46]prayers but a Masjid should be a place of knowledge the Masjid
[45:50]should be a place of learning it should be a hub for
[45:52]the community and this is how the imams of the treated it
[45:57]the IM would sit and he had students butd Malik he didn't
[46:01]hear the Quran orith he heard some type of science some type
[46:06]of knowledge that he had never heard of before so he says
[46:12]he asks he tells him what is this that he's teaching so
[46:18]theak he paused they asked him they told him what are you
[46:20]teaching he says he's teaching about geology and the skies and the
[46:38]Sun and theum and the Stars astronomy these are the this is
[46:42]the knowledge of the imams of the another question people ask is
[46:49]where do the imams of the get their knowledge from did the
[46:52]imams of the go and attend a university attend a class like
[46:58]you and I do no we believe that the imams of the
[47:00]they have the knowledge that is divine it is given to them
[47:07]by Allah subhana tala the same way God gave and the prophets
[47:12]who's the one who taught God and Allah subhana wa tala there
[47:18]are certain individuals that Allah taught them Allah educated them in we
[47:24]read there's two types of knowledge there's meaning this is a knowledge
[47:41]from God God places that knowledge in someone's heart and then there's
[47:45]the type of knowledge that we all normal people we go to
[47:48]school we go to university we sit and we learn the prophet
[47:51]and the prophets of Allah they have that knowledge directly from God
[47:55]and the IMs of the they get they get that Knowledge from
[48:01]God through he educated IM Ali he educated him he would whisper
[48:09]in his ears while the Muslims were sleeping would sit for hours
[48:17]private sessions with and would teach him and this is why said
[48:24]about I am the city of knowledge and Ali is the gate
[48:29]to that City this knowledge was passed on to the IMs of
[48:33]the and this is the reason why we follow the imams today
[48:38]some people they say why are you you sh why are you
[48:42]you have to follow these individuals why can't you just follow everyone
[48:45]else like all the other Muslims we tell we follow them because
[48:49]they have the knowledge if someone else had the knowledge we would
[48:54]follow the other person as well you follow the one who has
[48:57]the knowledge and they are the ones who had the knowledge during
[49:03]the time of was there someone after was there someone more knowledgeable
[49:08]than alali from the sah there was no one they all know
[49:10]that they all acknowledge that he didn't say about the other they
[49:17]are the Gate of knowledge he said about and they themselves the
[49:23]sahab they acknowledged that IM Ali was the more knowledgeable he has
[49:28]several statements several times he says if it was not for would
[49:34]have perished they would always go and learn and seek knowledge from
[49:38]they would admit the day Abu Bakr came and the first day
[49:43]he came and he sat on the member he says I am
[49:47]leading you but I am not the best from you he admitted
[49:48]he said I don't have the knowledge the imams of the they
[49:54]during their time they were the most knowledgeable this is why he
[49:58]stood on the m and he said ask me before you lose
[50:04]me because by God I know the paths in the heavens better
[50:07]than the roads on Earth these were the imams of the bit
[50:13]so we believe that the imams of the they had Divine knowledge
[50:18]and IM he has that knowledge and this is what makes them
[50:23]perfect and it was not just knowledge the of the they had
[50:29]all they were great in everything there's an interesting story IM he
[50:33]narrates the story he says I was with my father imak we
[50:40]were performing ta around the Kaa it was during the Hajj season
[50:44]and he said I started doing a Dua and people heard and
[50:48]the governments at that time they had spies that would listen to
[50:54]the Imam and monitor the Imam IM sad he says in his
[50:56]Dua he says all praise is due to God that he made
[51:03]the prophet from us and the imams and the leaders from us
[51:09]at that time the khif Washam ABD Malik hasham IB Abdul Malik
[51:13]the son of Abdul Malik the son of Maran these people they
[51:19]became the leaders of the umah a man like Marwan and his
[51:21]children they became the leaders of the umah hasham ABD his spies
[51:27]they told him that this is what the Imad is saying he
[51:32]orders for Imad and his father IM to go all the way
[51:34]to Damascus so that they could meet the Khalifa and the Khalifa
[51:42]wants to humiliate the Imam so IM IM sad he says I
[51:45]was with my father we went he says we were about to
[51:50]enter on Damascus where the where the Khalifa is in his Palace
[51:53]he said the Khalifa he made us wait out outside he made
[51:57]us wait for hours and trying to humiliate the Imam IM sad
[52:03]he said I looked at the face of my father IM Bak
[52:05]became red he became angry at the way he's being treated by
[52:11]the Khalifa and then he says we entered on the Khalifa and
[52:14]the Khalifa he was sitting with his generals and his heads of
[52:20]the military and they were they were doing archery they were shooting
[52:25]arrows at the at the uh Target he says they were sitting
[52:29]there and they were shooting he says Theif hasham he wanted to
[52:37]humiliate my father and me IM sad he said he tells imak
[52:38]he tells him you shoot arrows as well I have all my
[52:44]generals they're shooting arrows I want you to shoot arrows as well
[52:48]imak he tells him I've become an old man this is not
[52:53]something that I do anymore excuse me from it he tells him
[52:56]no you have to shoot tells him this is not something that
[53:01]I do now excuse me from it he says no you have
[53:06]to do it he says he forced my father he says my
[53:08]father took the took the um the arrow and he placed it
[53:14]in the bow and he shot and it went right on the
[53:17]Target and then he says do another one he says my father
[53:23]took the arrow and he shot it and it went right on
[53:29]the target again a third one a fourth one a fifth one
[53:32]nine times nine times he keeps hitting it right on the target
[53:36]the khif he looks at him he tells him you told me
[53:40]you got old and you don't do this anymore what happened tells
[53:45]him this this Perfection this is passed down in US Allah subhana
[53:50]tala has perfected us can you make someone who God has perfected
[53:54]can you remove remove the Perfection from this person and then he
[54:00]tells him what about your son ja can he do it he
[54:03]says yes my son jaur is also chosen by Allah and he
[54:05]could do it he says IM ja he also did the same
[54:09]thing then he tells him how do you do this the Imam
[54:14]was explaining to him you're trying to humiliate us you're trying to
[54:18]bring us and compare us with others God has chosen us he
[54:23]says how could God chose how could God have chosen you when
[54:26]when the last prophet was imak he tells him yes the last
[54:30]prophet was rol but the knowledge of the Prophet was passed to
[54:36]his and that was alali and then from alali it was passed
[54:39]to IM Hassan to IM Hussein to IM to IM and these
[54:45]are the 12 IMS that spoke about told the Muslims the the
[54:53]calebs after me they are 12 and they are all from qu
[55:00]so IM he proved his knowledge and he would educate people he
[55:09]would spread the knowledge but there was also another feature in the
[55:13]lives of the imams that often times you don't find it with
[55:15]people that have knowledge a lot of times you Fe you see
[55:21]people they have knowledge they end up losing the the manners they
[55:24]end up losing their kindness and compassion to other people and this
[55:29]is what happens when people become knowledgeable they think that other people
[55:33]need them and they start looking down at other people the imams
[55:36]of theit were not like that the imams of the were the
[55:41]true of the um the true knowledgeable people and a true knowledgeable
[55:45]person is someone that does not have pride someone that does not
[55:49]have a ego because when you have pride and when you have
[55:54]ego that goes against the knowledge that you have have today look
[55:59]at the world some countries universities democracies they have some money they
[56:06]have some power and they come and they think they are better
[56:08]than other people right now why is what's going on in Palestine
[56:14]the genocide that's going on why are certain countries treated as second
[56:18]and third tier countries because you have the powerful countries those that
[56:23]have the universities the knowledgeable people The Scholar they look down at
[56:28]other people but that's not real knowledge the imams of the teach
[56:31]us that when you have the knowledge you don't become arrogant you
[56:34]don't become full of Pride and this is how IM through his
[56:41]through their manners IM through his through his even though he was
[56:50]the most knowledgeable most sought after person in the society because everyone
[56:53]wants to seek knowledge they the Imam would spend time sitting with
[56:59]the poor people he would go and work he would go in
[57:01]physical labor work in the field this is something that the Imam
[57:05]teaches us having strong work ethic you go to some countries some
[57:13]of the countries that we just go to there's no work ethic
[57:15]you see five people they're standing and one of them is working
[57:18]and four of them are just watching there's no work ethic they
[57:23]don't want to work IM and the IMs of the all of
[57:31]them they would work he used to dig Wells used to plant
[57:35]trees IM he sits and he works in the field and there's
[57:39]an interesting Hadith this man by the name of mamed he was
[57:47]from the Sufi the sufis they admired IM Z Hussein the father
[57:55]of imak he says when I saw IM IM excuse me IM
[58:01]I never thought that anyone would come and fill the role of
[58:04]imin because of how much he admired IM Z the knowledge and
[58:10]the tawa and the piety and the he says until I saw
[58:15]his son Muhammad alak once I saw Muhammad Al Bak then I
[58:17]realized that he comes and he FS the position of the father
[58:23]but he says one day I saw IM Bak working in the
[58:27]field he has the the um what is it called the shovel
[58:33]and the axe and and he and he is working and he
[58:36]is sweating sweating sweating and it was a very hot day he
[58:39]said I thought to myself I'm going to go and give him
[58:43]advice he is a say from qur he's a leader from qur
[58:48]why is he working running after the dun is this is it
[58:51]appropriate to go and run after the dun right now and work
[58:56]he said I'm going to go and give him advice he says
[58:59]I go to him and I tell him he tells him you
[59:08]are a from you're working exhausting yourself what if you die right
[59:12]now what are you going to say to God you're running after
[59:15]Dunya you're you're working you're exhausting yourself and and and what if
[59:20]you die in this state he says the IM he says he
[59:32]says if I die while I'm working in the field I die
[59:38]while I'm worshiping God the Imam teaches us that you have to
[59:40]have strong work ethic that sometimes there's no shame in working and
[59:48]then he tells him he says I was afraid he says I'm
[59:50]afraid to die while I'm asking other people for money or I'm
[59:55]going to to you or other people or I'm doing something Haram
[59:57]for the sake of money that is that is how I'm afraid
[60:02]to die but dying while working there's nothing wrong with that the
[60:06]man he tells the IM he tells him he says you I
[60:15]wanted to give you advice but you gave me advice look at
[60:18]the Imam this is how the imams of the Alit were when
[60:23]we talk about Islam a lot of people they say oh this
[60:28]is theoretical Islam you can't really practice it you can't really Implement
[60:31]these teachings but the they teach us that no you could Implement
[60:34]Islam in the way that it is through their through their manners
[60:40]there was a man from now B when you read when you
[60:48]read what do we say all of are cursed but there was
[60:56]a good man from Ben his name was they call him he
[60:59]was a companion of the imams one day he comes and he's
[61:05]crying in front of imak he's crying he tells him I'm from
[61:11]this family this cursed family this family that brought so much Injustice
[61:15]to the B how can I be saved and if I'm from
[61:21]this family the IM he tells him you are safe through your
[61:23]actions you fall follow God and you follow the prophet and the
[61:29]and God will save you and then he recited the verse from
[61:34]the Quran whoever follows me ibraim tells his people whoever follows me
[61:39]then this person is from me IM he writes a letter to
[61:45]this man and I will conclude with this he tells him I
[61:53]give you advice my advice for you is to have tawa in
[61:58]Allah what's tawa tawa is to have God on the on your
[62:04]mind at all times whatever you want to do you're happy you're
[62:08]angry you're sad you're getting emotional you're want to make money whatever
[62:13]it is put God ahead of every decision that you make and
[62:16]then he says because it will protect you from harm and it
[62:30]will save you from falling and falling in this dun having going
[62:38]going through a disaster in this duny he says God will protect
[62:48]you through ta what your mind cannot protect you in doing a
[62:51]lot of us we think that through my intellect I could live
[62:55]a perfect life sometimes we miss certain things why because we don't
[62:59]have God Consciousness you have to have the no one's saying don't
[63:03]use your no have the but in addition to the you need
[63:07]to have tawa you need to have fear of God because some
[63:09]people they think through through intellect I could become a billionaire I'll
[63:13]take money from this person steal kill abuse and then through my
[63:17]intellect I'll become the richest person but then you're still not protecting
[63:21]yourself from harm you need that tawa you need that fear of
[63:26]God so he says and Allah will make clear through tawa what
[63:44]your eyes cannot see there are certain things our eyes cannot see
[63:49]we are blinded of certain things but when you have that God
[63:51]Consciousness then you'll be able to see better then you'll be able
[63:55]to make better s more sound decisions in life and then he
[64:03]says through prophet new and the people who were with him in
[64:10]the ark they were saved through tawa not because they were smart
[64:12]and witty because there were other people that were smart but they
[64:19]ended up drowning but it was the tawa that saved and the
[64:22]people that were with him and then he says and prophet and
[64:31]they were th those who were with him they were saved because
[64:35]of tawa not because of how smart or how much money they
[64:38]had tawa was the one that saved them and and through ta
[64:44]the patient ones are those who are successful my dear brothers and
[64:49]sisters we ask Allah to help us prepare for the month of
[64:56]rajab which will be beginning on Saturday inshallah and it is highly
[65:01]highly highly recommended to fast during the month of rajab and shaan
[65:05]and preferably the first day if you couldn't the first day second
[65:08]day the third day at least one or two days or three
[65:12]days if you could do more during the month of rajab and
[65:18]shaan to fast it is highly rewarding and we will talk about
[65:22]the merits of fasting and the tomorrow during the Friday prayer m
