[0:04][Music] um it was narrated in the days that prophet musa wandered

[0:22]with bani israel in the desert an intense drought befell them together

[0:26]they raised their hands towards the heavens praying for the blessed rain

[0:29]to come then to the astonishment of prophet musa and all those

[0:35]watching the scattered clouds vanished the heat poured down and the drought

[0:40]intensified it was revealed to prophet musa that there was a sinner

[0:43]amongst the people of bani israel he had disobeyed allah for more

[0:48]than 40 years of his life let him separate himself from the

[0:53]crowd allah told prophet musa only then shall i shower you all

[0:56]with rain prophet musa then called out to everyone there is a

[1:00]person amongst us who has disobeyed allah for 40 years let him

[1:04]separate himself from among us and then we will be rescued from

[1:08]the drought that man waited looking left and right hoping that someone

[1:14]else would step forward but no one did sweat poured from his

[1:18]brown he knew that he was the one the man knew that

[1:22]if he stayed amongst the people all of them would die of

[1:24]thirst but if he stepped forward he would be humiliated for all

[1:31]of eternity he raised his hands with a sincerity he had never

[1:35]known before with a humility he had never tasted and as tears

[1:38]poured down both of his cheeks he said o allah have mercy

[1:44]on me o allah hide my sins o allah forgive me as

[1:49]prophet musa and the people of bani israel waited for the sinner

[1:52]to step forward the clouds filled the sky and the rain poured

[1:57]down prophet musa told allah o allah you blessed us with rain

[2:03]even though the sinner did not come forward and allah replied o

[2:08]it is for the forgiveness of that very person that i bless

[2:12]the people of bani israel with water prophet musa wanting to know

[2:17]who this blessed man was asked show him to me o allah

[2:22]allah replied o musa i hid his sins for 40 years do

[2:27]you think after his forgiveness i shall expose him how can i

[2:34]backbite when i command you to refrain from backbiting tell all the

[2:38]people to seek forgiveness in order that i shall answer their prayers

[2:44]allah has so much mercy on his people it is only expected

[2:50]of us to resemble those manners however on the 10th of muharram

[2:56]imam al-hussein alaihissalam was not treated with those same manners it is

[3:00]no wonder allah struck them with the curse of ignorance allah's mercy

[3:04]be with you o imam conceal our sins and allow us to

[3:15]be with you o imam o imam al-hussein the tenth day was

[3:24]extremely tough on the heart of imam hussein the enemy did not

[3:30]differentiate between big or small all who were on the path of

[3:35]imam hussain were to get slaughtered that day one of the wives

[3:39]of imam hussein rabb accompanied the women to karbala with her newborn

[3:45]son abdullah they would not give any exceptions nor would their hearts

[3:51]ease over such a small soul imam hussain looked around the desert

[3:55]on the tenth of muharram and all that was around him were

[3:59]the bodies of his dead sons nephews and companions he turned to

[4:04]the left and to the right and tried calling out for someone

[4:09]to come help him on these lonely lands o allah my companions

[4:15]is there anyone left to help us are there any lovers of

[4:20]imam ali that are willing to sacrifice their lives for his will

[4:23]as soon as the women heard his call they knew that this

[4:28]was it they had sensed that this is imam hussain's call to

[4:33]martyrdom he came into the women's tent and asked sayida zainab to

[4:36]hand him his newborn son so that he may bid farewell to

[4:41]him my dear hussain abdullah has had no water for milk in

[4:46]three days he has no more energy to cry he is completely

[4:54]dry imam hussain alaihis salaam took his son from sayida zainab's arms

[4:59]and began to examine his face he saw how his baby's lips

[5:05]were cracking from how dry they were and the baby had fainted

[5:11]from dehydration and the need for water [Music] as imam hussain was

[5:15]holding his baby and bidding farewell to him omar ibn assad ordered

[5:20]the men to strike an arrow and kill the baby in an

[5:24]instant the heat of the arrow in his chest woke the baby

[5:28]into consciousness and he began to reach his hands out as a

[5:32]dead bird would be pleading for some water or air anything to

[5:38]keep him alive imam hussain began to gather the blood in his

[5:44]hands and throw it in the air as he called out my

[5:45]heart is at ease for all that i've gone through only because

[5:49]it is in the sight of allah imam hussain approached the women's

[5:54]tent and he noticed that all the women were standing at its

[5:59]doors waiting for any news from him imam hussain did not want

[6:02]to witness the women finding out about the tragedy that befell the

[6:07]newborn baby so he walked towards the back of the tent and

[6:12]called sayada zainab oh zainab please come take this baby from me

[6:18]my dear sister this baby has broken my heart oh allah please

[6:22]accept this baby for this is all we have left before our

[6:28]dear imam hussain how shall i tell your mother about your departure

[6:33]oh abdullah your years were very few we did not even get

[6:37]to see you grow in your years say the zainab decided to

[6:41]hide him under her abaya and thought of a way to break

[6:47]the news to the newborn baby's mother may allah's peace be upon

[6:56]you imam hussain's companions all have been martyred or abbab may allah's

[7:01]peace and blessings be upon you too my lady zainab yes they

[7:05]have it is with a very heavy heart that we say they

[7:10]have been martyred ozana aurabob [Music] ali akbar has been killed yes

[7:18]o zainab i have received the news this battle was very dear

[7:23]to my heart aurabob al-qasim is god allah abbas the moon of

[7:33]this tribe they have all been killed under their evil hands yes

[7:38]then say the zainab uncovered the newborn from under her abaya and

[7:44]revealed him to his mother saying may allah reward you your son

[7:54]abdullah has been killed under the hands of the enemy rabbab she

[8:00]began to kiss his face and call out his name she hugged

[8:05]him and smelled him and began to cry out for her son

[8:09]oh my son is it true that i will no longer see

[8:13]you or hold you may allah accept this gift from us and

[8:16]take revenge for us o my son abdullah i have no water

[8:22]to put over your grave but my tears shall be enough to

[8:26]wet your grave in one angle of the desert was a mother

[8:29]taking in what remained of her dead baby and in another angle

[8:35]was a family that was desperate to keep their father near close

[8:39]and alive a family of daughters mothers sisters and martyred sons the

[8:46]truth was as close to their hearts as their father was that's

[8:50]why they were able to let him go in karbala because so

[8:55]long as the truth was there so was their father it was

[9:01]like he never left
