[0:04][Music] um story today is about a religious scholar who was very

[0:20]humble and god-fearing he would be awake at night praying to allah

[0:23]while everyone else was asleep this scholar had a very special wish

[0:29]he hoped and prayed to meet imam al-mahdi one night while he

[0:32]was praying his nightly prayer he got very tired he wanted to

[0:37]sleep really bad but insisted on continuing his nightly worship routine he

[0:40]was not able to fight the urge to sleep that night and

[0:45]suddenly fell into a deep deep sleep as he was asleep he

[0:47]began to dream he dreamt of a very faithful man he has

[0:50]seen this man in many dreams before and every time he saw

[0:54]him he would give him glad tidings and good news this time

[0:56]he prepared something else for him this news was the most important

[1:00]news he had been given the man in his dream told him

[1:03]if you would like to see imam sahib zaman you must go

[1:44]moment he ran towards the imam and said his salam and he

[1:47]was still confused over one thing he asked imam al-mahdi o imam

[1:51]there are so many people that wish to see you so many

[1:55]people who visit shrines and go to hajj praying to see you

[1:58]and you choose this place why o imam why this place the

[2:02]imam replied with a smile on his face be patient and you

[2:06]will see why the religious scholars sat at the shop next to

[2:09]the imam and they began to converse suddenly an old lady approaches

[2:14]the shop holding a lock in her hand she comes towards the

[2:18]locksmith asking him to buy her lock for three coins because she

[2:21]needed the assistance the locksmith took the lock examined it and told

[2:25]the old lady this lock is perfectly fine it just needs a

[2:28]key i can make a key for you for half a coin

[2:32]is that okay she told her that she did not want the

[2:35]lock and she want to sell it because she needed three coins

[2:37]but that nobody in the market would buy it from her for

[2:39]more than two coins the locksmith told this old lady that he

[2:43]will not buy it from her for three coins that he would

[2:46]give her 10 coins for it because that's how much it deserved

[2:49]and that she should take what is rightfully hers the religious scholars

[2:52]smiled and knew why the imam had come to visit this man

[2:54]imam zaman told the scholar be like this locksmith in his honesty

[2:59]and trustworthiness and i will come to you forget fatigue and forget

[3:04]travel i will come right to you the imam of the time

[3:07]visited and sat with this locksmith for his honesty and trustworthiness muslim

[3:12]ibn aqil tonight will be in kufa but this time the people's

[3:17]dishonesty will cause the first blood to be shed in the journey

[3:18]of hussein o allah we ask you that you make us among

[3:24]those who are honest with their love and obedience to you and

[3:27]to our beloved imam imam hussain's caravan reached the holy city of

[3:39]mecca the imam was waiting for a few things to resolve before

[3:42]he took the next step for the time being he decided to

[3:46]stay in mecca at least until the month of durham and perform

[3:50]the duty of hajj the word spread quickly that the imam refused

[3:56]to give allegiance to yazid and left medina while in mecca he

[4:40]by the will of allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala come to you very soon

[4:45]if muslim ibn tells me that you are united in your goal

[4:48]by my life an imam is the one who acts upon the

[4:52]book of allah and follows the path of righteousness he dedicates himself

[4:56]to follow allah's commandments may allah's peace be upon you muslim ibn

[5:02]akhir's task was to ensure that the people of kufa were collected

[5:07]together under the goal of enjoining truth and forbidding falsehood with their

[5:14]imam upon his arrival he was successful in gathering large numbers of

[5:18]people at this time yazid and his army were told that the

[5:21]people of kufa are joining muslim in an effort to overthrow the

[5:27]umayyad rule they came to kufa and threatened the people to kill

[5:32]them and their women and children if they made such a decision

[5:35]people were bribed with money and fortune and women guilted their husbands

[5:43]from joining the caravan of hussein [Music] it was as if the

[5:48]twelve thousand letters never happened as if they disappeared in thin air

[5:53]the people of kufa left muslim all alone and he became trapped

[5:59]as yazid's army encircled him corner by corner his only way out

[6:07]was through the river they prayed the maghrib prayer in the masjid

[6:11]that night as muslim finished leading prayer he turned around to find

[6:16]no one behind him from the people that had originally claimed allegiance

[6:20]to imam hussein he was devastated his journey began alone and it

[6:27]ends alone as he fled through the city he knocked on the

[6:32]door of a lady named tawa whom he asked for a cup

[6:38]of water may allah serve you from the spring of kauthar o

[6:44]mother my pleasure o son now you are hydrated go on with

[6:47]your journey and seek your family they must be very worried about

[6:50]you i am a stranger in this city oh mother i have

[6:55]no home nor family here the very people of the city have

[6:59]called upon us for guidance as they have proven their disloyalty what

[7:04]is your name osan muslim may i be sacrificed for you you

[7:12]are the ambassador of the grandson of the holy prophet peace be

[7:15]upon him yes oh mother i have fled through the night as

[7:21]it is not safe for us in the public right now will

[7:22]you keep me in your home just until dawn so that i

[7:25]may rest and go on with my journey may allah help me

[7:30]my only fear is my son he befriended the evils of the

[7:34]people of kufa and will get us both killed if he found

[7:37]out that i safeguarded you for the night we must be very

[7:41]wary of him so that he doesn't find out i will keep

[7:45]you safe in my home god willing muslim abner spent his time

[7:50]at tawa's home praying through the dark hours of the night her

[7:56]son bilal had come home early that night and caught muslim ibn

[7:59]aqil in the far corner of their home he acted as if

[9:04]as he was about to take a drink of water blood began

[9:46]will bring us all closer to allah you have strayed the path

[9:50]by turning away from your master o muslim i swear by allah

[9:53]you are nothing but a liar if these people had even a

[9:58]slight thread of faith in their hearts they would realize that you

[10:03]are lying unfortunately this world has deceived people and took them astray

[10:07]benny hashem has come against the one who have stolen the right

[10:11]of the caliphate from the family of the prophet of allah you

[10:15]benihashem claim inheritance in your religion benny hashem have the right in

[10:22]caliphate these positions are not for the wretched individual such as yourself

[10:26]and yazid they are for righteous god worry worshipers like our beloved

[10:32]imam hussain guards what are you waiting for do you not see

[10:35]this man disrespect your master kill him throw him off the tallest

[10:38]building in kufa just like that between the love of fame and

[10:44]fortune of the people of kufa and the love of truth and

[10:48]humility of bani hashem imam hussain lost his first warrior muslim they

[10:54]threw him off of the roof of the castle of abed allah

[10:59]of niziyad muslim had left behind a family and a daughter named

[11:04]hamidah that loved him very much as imam hussain alaihis salaam wiped

[11:09]on her head she immediately knew that she had become an orphan

[11:13]at such a young age she had come to know that this

[11:17]is the beginning of a big tragedy the enemy did not understand

[11:22]that you do not need all that you have gathered from this

[11:25]world to be a king you just need a sense of truth

[11:30]and dignity kings live in eternity they don't die kings light the
