[0:00]all food colorings Halal well food colorings or food additives are natural

[0:05]in other words from vegetable or non-animal sources or artificial chemical dyes

[0:11]or pigments that are used to preserve food and drinks or to

[0:16]give them a certain color they are permissible for consumption in most

[0:19]cases however even prior to it being added to food or beverage

[0:26]some food coloring contains very small quantities of alcohol ethanol that dissolves

[0:31]in the food such that that the alcohol is diluted to a

[0:35]level that is so minute that it can no longer intoxicate if

[0:40]the alcohol content in this food coloring is less than three percent

[0:44]approximately it dissolves and it does not cause intoxication therefore there will

[0:50]be no problem with consuming it however if the amount of alcohol

[0:53]in the final food product exceeds the previous dementia percentage to three

[0:58]percent then it is prohibited to consume
