[0:10]respected brothers and sisters in the Holy Quran Bismillah foreign foreign in

[0:47]this blessed verse of the Holy Quran the almighty God states God

[0:54]has promised the believing men and the believing woman Heavens Gardens beneath

[1:00]which rivers flow they will dwell there for eternity and God will

[1:09]give them homes of tranquility and peace but the satisfaction of God

[1:17]is the greatest of them all that is indeed the true Victory

[1:23]and the true success illuminates your hearts and Minds with a very

[1:30]loud in our discussion this evening we will be examining our final

[1:42]final Final Destination we live in this world we go through this

[1:47]worldly trial many people go through suffering and we know God is

[1:54]merciful with us in this world but what awaits Us in the

[1:56]afterlife what is that Final Destination that God has promised for the

[2:04]good doers for the good ones those who suffer where will God

[2:07]compensate them it's very important for us to know this Final Destination

[2:15]when you go on a vacation for a week to some nice

[2:17]tropical island let's say if you go to Barbados or Hawaii or

[2:23]the Caribbean or somewhere else you do a lot of research examining

[2:26]this place I know some people when they want to go on

[2:31]a vacation they'll do research for three months which island should I

[2:36]choose which Resort which hotel which airline which restaurant should I visit

[2:41]there and then some people will spend endless hours reading these hotel

[2:45]reviews just to make sure they landed the right place during that

[2:49]vacation for one for a one week vacation we spend all that

[2:53]time right researching it knowing what to expect don't we want to

[2:56]know where that final Eternal vacation is how does it look like

[3:02]that's why you find that the Holy Quran is filled with descriptions

[3:09]about Paradise in heaven out of the scriptures that we have today

[3:12]I could probably say that the Quran demonstrates and gives time the

[3:19]most to describing what heaven is because this is our final destination

[3:23]it's important for us to know what to expect and so the

[3:30]almighty God has given us brief glimpses of what heaven looks like

[3:34]knowing that is productive it's beneficial it motivates us to do more

[3:40]so the almighty God has not created us for this world this

[3:45]world is just a Transit Hall that takes us to that final

[3:47]Abode that beautiful place in the presence in the spiritual presence of

[3:54]the almighty God that's why the religion of Islam teaches us not

[4:00]to sell our souls for this cheap materialistic world that's not worth

[4:08]it there are some people who are willing to give up that

[4:12]afterlife that heaven for a few days of evil Pleasures going to

[4:19]war with other nations just because of my personal agendas and desires

[4:25]I wreck that heaven that afterlife for a few days your nephs

[4:32]is so valuable there is no price tag on your soul the

[4:38]only thing that's worth it for you to give your soul for

[4:40]is for heaven anything else if you sell your soul for you've

[4:47]committed an act of Injustice against your own soul so it's very

[4:50]important for us to stay focused in this life yes our intent

[4:55]is to set up satisfy the almighty God to be good for

[5:00]the sake of goodness for the sake of humanity but we know

[5:02]that God will give us a grand reward now in Arabic in

[5:09]the Quran Allah calls Heaven Jenna what is the meaning of Jannah

[5:17]the meaning of Jannah in Arabic comes from the root word genen

[5:20]you find that the meaning of this root word in Arabic means

[5:28]hidden anything that comes from this root word it has the meaning

[5:33]of being hidden the almighty God calls The Gardens of Eden The

[5:38]Gardens of paradise hidden because there is so much Lush vegetation the

[5:42]trees actually hide the Palaces if you were to look from outside

[5:48]you would see trees you know today if you go to some

[5:50]fancy neighborhoods you know there's fences trees that hide those luxurious Mansions

[5:56]that's kind of the idea behind the meaning of Jannah these beautiful

[6:01]gardens that are thick and Lush with vegetation other words in Arabic

[6:08]that have this root word also embed the meaning of being hidden

[6:12]for instance the fetus in Arabic is called what Janine why because

[6:18]the fetus is hidden you cannot see the fetus another example of

[6:23]that is what does majinun in Arabic mean the one who's insane

[6:29]why is the one who is insane called majnoon in Arabic because

[6:35]it's symbolically saying that the intellect is hidden like this person's intelligence

[6:39]and brain is hidden that's why they're insane also we have the

[6:45]word Janan the word genan with the fatah in Arabic means heart

[6:50]why is the heart and why does the heart embed that meaning

[6:55]of being hidden because you cannot see what's in people's hearts symbolically

[6:59]speaking right so you find that the Arabic language is truly complex

[7:04]and rich in how these words are related to one another now

[7:08]Heaven has many names the Quran tells us about ferdaus about alien

[7:15]about Adam the guardian of Eden these are all different ranks of

[7:18]paradise but the word that the Quran commonly uses to refer to

[7:25]Heaven is the word Jannah now the belief in heaven is that

[7:28]an Islamic belief only or do other religions also believe in heaven

[7:34]you find that the abrahamic faiths especially today Christianity they do believe

[7:38]in heaven Christians believe in heaven and hell just as we believe

[7:42]in heaven and hell yes we might have a different understanding of

[7:45]what heaven and hell are however we both agree that there's an

[7:49]afterlife and God will compensate the good doers in heaven and God

[7:56]will seek revenge from the evil ones who did not repent in

[8:02]hell so the abrahamic religions all advocated for the idea of paradise

[8:06]for the idea of having this beautiful heaven in the afterlife now

[8:11]there's one very important discussion here is heaven spiritual or physical as

[8:19]well different theologians and Scholars and philosophers have given different answers throughout

[8:25]history there are some who say heaven is strictly spiritual you don't

[8:30]find any physical Pleasures in Paradise it's all spiritual some have advocated

[8:37]for that I know some Christian theologians for instance they have advocated

[8:41]for having being purely spiritual and sometimes you know different people have

[8:47]their own personal um visualizations of what heaven looks like and sometimes

[8:53]these people are turned off by these visuals of Heaven once I

[8:57]you know read on a forum uh you know Christians were discussing

[9:03]heaven Daryl you're going to enjoy this one one of them said

[9:06]you know what I'm not really looking forward to heaven so the

[9:10]other guy said why he said because I Envision having as being

[9:17]this huge Church where I'm going to sit in Mass 24 7.

[9:19]just spiritually receiving some blessings there um I don't know if I

[9:26]you know uh I'm looking forward to something like that or some

[9:29]people think that heaven means you're going to turn into some angel

[9:35]on a cloud playing the harp and honestly that's not something that

[9:38]I look forward to doing for the rest of Eternity some have

[9:41]suggested that heaven is purely spiritual but the Quran is very clear

[9:45]and the Hadith are also very clear that heaven just as it

[9:51]is spiritual and that's the main part of course but it's also

[9:54]physical the Quran gives us physical descriptions of paradise yes that physical

[10:01]Dimension has different rules it's not like our world today it has

[10:07]different dimensions different experiences but there is a physical component to Heaven

[10:15]that we cannot deny when we examine the Holy Quran now before

[10:19]we give you a quick tour of how Paradise looks like in

[10:25]the Holy Quran and Hadith there are two very important points to

[10:29]consider here number one is the descriptions that the Quran gives us

[10:33]some people today we'll read the scriptures they will read the Quran

[10:38]and they will examine how the Quran describes to us heaven and

[10:43]some people say honestly that's not really interesting for the Arab person

[10:48]who was living in the deserts of Arabia you know you could

[10:50]entice him with visions like that there's a beautiful garden a mansion

[10:55]Rivers flowing hey you know if I live in a place where

[11:01]we get abundant rainfall I see it every day Rivers flowing around

[11:03]in my city that's not something that really entices me right I

[11:09]can go to Hawaii and I can see better images than what

[11:11]the Quran describes some people say one of my father's friends he

[11:16]had gone to Hawaii for the first time so when he came

[11:17]back he said to my father say it you know why God

[11:22]created Hawaii he told him why he's like so those who don't

[11:25]make it to Heaven they get a little taste of it here

[11:29]in this Dunya in this world so some people are like you

[11:33]know I've seen better images than what the Quran describes or the

[11:37]food that period you know the Quran describes in Paradise or the

[11:40]drinks for instance one of the drinks of paradise is a ginger

[11:43]drink Zen jabil another drink is what kafur camphor today you don't

[11:52]even consider these juices or drinks that you would even want to

[11:55]try it's nothing there's nothing exotic about it today so one very

[11:59]important note to consider when the Quran describes to you the Quran

[12:03]is describing something to you that's indescribable because you don't have the

[12:10]capacity to know what heaven looks like so the Quran used the

[12:13]language that people at the time could relate to because of the

[12:17]Quran describes the reality of Heaven no one will understand it people

[12:23]will think the Quran is speaking nonsense at the end of the

[12:26]day God wanted to motivate those people so don't take these descriptions

[12:29]literally if you don't like ginger drink it doesn't mean God is

[12:34]going to force feed you Ginger drink and Paradise when you don't

[12:38]like it the reason why the Quran mentions it is because the

[12:41]Arabs considered it an exotic drink so the Quran is telling you

[12:46]look anything exotic you'll find over there here's an example it's just

[12:51]an example it's very important to understand that when you're examining the

[12:55]details of Heaven in the Holy Quran because people have this objection

[12:58]right today you know if you go to a fancy restaurant and

[13:04]you see what's on there menu you know it looks more appealing

[13:06]than the food that the Quran would describe to you these are

[13:10]just simple examples because when you have not experienced something you cannot

[13:15]really describe it to someone else when you experience something yourself you

[13:22]understand what it means but you cannot describe it to someone else

[13:26]I'll give you an example imagine if you were to go back

[13:31]in time a thousand years ago and you wanted to explain to

[13:37]someone there what an iPhone is would you be able to you

[13:40]would not be able to explain it you tell them look there

[13:47]is this rectangular shape thing object that looks black you hold it

[13:52]in your hands you can call someone with it you can check

[13:56]the weather with it you can prepare for your lectures with it

[14:02]you could read books on it you can even make money off

[14:04]of it you go on a platform you buy cryptocurrency and then

[14:10]in two minutes you'll make a thousand dollars and then you have

[14:14]this you know calculator that does mathematical equations for you if you

[14:18]say this to someone who lived a thousand years they're going to

[14:20]look at you they think you're insane they'll take you to the

[14:22]nearest doctor or Hospital there's something wrong with your head because they

[14:27]don't have the capacity to understand what this little device does or

[14:31]try explaining Wi-Fi to someone you know who lived a thousand years

[14:37]ago you're not able to do it because they don't have the

[14:40]capacity to get what you are experiencing imagine this limited world you're

[14:45]not able to explain what you experience to others imagine heaven and

[14:51]that dimension of Heaven and the infinite mercy of God in heaven

[14:55]it's indescribable that's why the Quran tells you Allah no soul the

[15:08]Quran says no soul can imagine what God has prepared for them

[15:12]in heaven it's Beyond Your Capacity it's beyond your imagination no I

[15:23]has seen what's in heaven no ears has seen has heard what's

[15:30]in Paradise no human being has been able to conceptualize what's in

[15:38]heaven so it's beyond your imagination when you read these descriptions just

[15:42]keep that in mind don't take them literally God is just giving

[15:47]you a glimpse to motivate you to tell you look this is

[15:49]the best place for you that's the first observation the second observation

[15:53]before we give you that quick tour of paradise there are some

[15:58]people who bring forth this objection I've seen some atheists make an

[16:02]objection they're like look as good as this Heaven is I'm not

[16:05]interested in going there because if you want to put me somewhere

[16:08]for eternity for trillions and trillions of years and it doesn't end

[16:13]eventually I'll get bored live in any nice place for trillions of

[16:17]years fine take me to Barbados or Hawaii you know I'll see

[16:21]it for a few years for a few days and that's it

[16:24]I don't want to sit there for eternity so honestly Heaven's not

[16:27]appealing I don't want to go there for eternity so this is

[16:32]something that's boring how do we respond to that there are several

[16:35]quick responses that we can give number one we get bored here

[16:41]in this world because you get used to the same thing in

[16:45]heaven every single day God invents a new blessing for you to

[16:54]keep you busy with and God's power is infinite there is no

[16:57]limitation on the power of God he's omnipotent imagine every day you

[17:01]wake up in heaven there's something new there is a new dimension

[17:07]here in the world we live in a 3D World okay some

[17:09]say 40.

[17:10]imagine if every day in heaven there's a new layer a new

[17:15]dimension and with every new dimension a new experience will come to

[17:20]you for eternity the almighty God will create a new pleasure for

[17:23]you think about that you would not get bored when this is

[17:29]the case that's number one number two the spiritual pleasure of paradise

[17:32]is what keeps people going I'll give you an example that's mentioned

[17:36]in our Hadith there are some moments in your life when you'll

[17:44]never get bored of Even If you experience them a million times

[17:46]and that's when you have a severe need and your need is

[17:53]fulfilled imagine if you're fasting and it's summer it's hot out there

[17:56]and you come back it's 9 30 p.m you want to break

[18:01]your fast let's say you're even on your school team you've had

[18:06]a very important game you're literally dying from thirst and then you

[18:11]take that cold cup of water to quench your thirst just visualize

[18:15]it right now how does that feel how does that taste it

[18:21]tastes like life right it's so amazing you feel like you're tasting

[18:26]life that's because you have a need and you're fulfilling that need

[18:31]now if you were to get thirsty a million times and a

[18:34]million times you quench that thirst do you get bored of that

[18:39]feeling never because it's a need that you have it feels good

[18:42]every single time that you quench that thirst now imagine when the

[18:47]body has this need and you quench its thirst and its need

[18:50]it feels so good imagine the soul when it has a need

[18:57]and you quench The Thirst of your soul that feels even better

[19:01]and you know how God quenches The Thirst of your soul in

[19:04]heaven one narration States every Friday in heaven now we don't exactly

[19:07]know how the days work there maybe this is also symbolic once

[19:14]a week regularly on Fridays the almighty God invites all of the

[19:19]people of Heaven for an address God is now addressing them so

[19:23]everyone gathers to receive this you know direct communication from the almighty

[19:29]God God inspires everyone speaks to everyone in Heaven and reveals new

[19:34]knowledge for them on every Friday when you receive that new Knowledge

[19:42]from God spiritually it's so uplifting and fulfilling it quenches The Thirst

[19:48]of your soul you wait by the minute for the following week

[19:51]again to receive new Knowledge from the almighty God you'll never get

[19:55]bored of that for eternity that's another way to address the problem

[20:00]of boredom in Paradise so don't think that you'll get bored here

[20:06]in this Dunya we get bored but not in Paradise Allah lifts

[20:08]that so these are two important observations let's now get to the

[20:13]main tour this is The Grand Tour how does heaven look like

[20:18]based on the Quran in our hadiths so before we enter Heaven

[20:21]we got to go through a security point and that security checkpoint

[20:27]is the pool and the house of it's a pool by which

[20:34]the prophet Muhammad is standing and other prophets of God such as

[20:38]Abraham Moses Jesus are also there you have to drink from this

[20:45]pool in order for you to become immortal and for you to

[20:47]be qualified to enter Paradise so the Believers they will go to

[20:53]this pool and Imam Ali is the one who gives you that

[20:55]drink the prophet is at the pool he's the owner of the

[21:00]pool but Imam is the one who gives the drink to the

[21:02]Believers two things happen when you drink from the pool of number

[21:09]one all physical defects will be fixed will go away your body

[21:14]becomes beautiful and complete in every aspect that's the first physical Dimension

[21:22]the second dimension is spiritually God cleanses your soul when you take

[21:26]from that drink so all of the diseases of the heart diseases

[21:30]of the Soul are cured by this drink after drinking from the

[21:36]pool of kothar you no longer feel jealousy no arrogance no grudges

[21:41]no hatred you become the perfect Soul the clean soul that the

[21:46]almighty God had created so we drink from the pool of kothar

[21:51]and then the Believers will go to the gates of paradise one

[21:53]beautiful attribute of the gates of paradise is that when a Believer

[21:57]approaches them the door itself opens before you get there that's Heaven's

[22:06]way of greeting you giving you a personal greeting you don't have

[22:09]to open the door Heaven opens the door for you Allah mentions

[22:13]this and the pious ones the Believers will be driven to Heaven

[22:26]because they were Pious in groups they will be taken to Paradise

[22:34]when they arrive at Heaven its doors open the ones in charge

[22:48]of Heaven the Angels they will tell you peace be upon you

[22:53]you can now enter Heaven you're going to be in goodness indecency

[22:57]and you're going to stay in heaven for eternity so the doors

[23:03]of Heaven they will open how many doors does Paradise have anyone

[23:09]knows eight Hal has seven Gates but Paradise Jannah has eight Gates

[23:16]now each gate has its own feature there is one beautiful Hadith

[23:24]that tells you if you have these qualities you can enter from

[23:27]any gate that you wish if you have these three qualities God

[23:32]on the day of judgments will tell you you see these eight

[23:35]Gates enter from anyone the VIP one go and enter from it

[23:39]the one that you like most go and enter from it what

[23:40]are these three number one man has the one who has a

[23:49]proper attitude is well-mannered what do we mean by having good good

[23:54]means you're humble you don't have arrogance you don't see yourself being

[23:58]better than other people you're not selfish you care about other people

[24:03]that's good the one who has Allah says enter from any door

[24:10]that you want because that's the essence of Faith to be honest

[24:13]to be helpful to be humble the second one and the one

[24:23]who's mindful of God when in private and when in public see

[24:28]in public many of us behave when we step into the public

[24:35]Zone the public sphere believe me we all turn into professional actors

[24:40]I'm going to show you my true colors and my true self

[24:43]here when I'm sitting before you right because I have an image

[24:48]to protect we become professional actors you really can't tell someone who

[24:52]they are just by seeing them publicly you have to live with

[24:57]them you have to get close to them in order for you

[25:00]to really know who they are don't be deceived by the image

[25:03]of someone publicly I know these days people want to get married

[25:05]and they're impressed you know you see mashallah this person you know

[25:08]is really impressive for this character when we see him in public

[25:11]Gatherings yeah but this person may have another side you need to

[25:15]do a better job in investigating we are professional actors I personally

[25:20]know some people like that when they're in public Gatherings when they're

[25:24]outside of their homes believe me they're angelic they're Angels but inside

[25:30]their homes they're Hitlers they're abusive with their family with their spouse

[25:34]they have the worst of a clock in their homes but in

[25:38]front of people they put an act they have a diff they

[25:42]have another face the Hadith States the the Believers who can choose

[25:45]from any door they can enter Heaven they're not double-sided they're not

[25:49]double faced they're honest they're good with everyone they're mindful of God

[25:54]whether in their private life or in public even when they're in

[26:00]their private life they are still decent they still don't commit sins

[26:04]they still observe the laws of Allah that's the second one what's

[26:07]the third one and the one who avoids getting into arguments even

[26:16]if he's right one of the qualities of Believers is that they

[26:21]don't engage in excessive arguments sometimes we have the selfish urge to

[26:27]prove our point no I'm right even if you're right the prophet

[26:34]salallahu alaihi State stop drop it don't create animosity and tension with

[26:38]fellow human beings even if you're right some of us when we

[26:41]think we're right that said I have to prove my point say

[26:45]it once say it twice say it humbly with love with affection

[26:48]with compassion and that's it drop it you don't need to make

[26:52]a fight with other people many times this happens and marital disputes

[26:58]with spouses no I'm right she's wrong no I'm right he's wrong

[27:01]doesn't matter who's right and who's wrong fix the problem make sure

[27:06]it works you know today the very successful companies they have this

[27:11]policy they have this type of outlook on how you know employees

[27:17]should work they bring you to a team and they tell you

[27:21]you have to work as a team and make sure that your

[27:26]team is successful so they bring this person Joe you're the leader

[27:29]of this team I want you to make this work I don't

[27:32]care who's right and who's wrong in your team doesn't matter what

[27:37]I want to see is all of you achieving success together sometimes

[27:41]you might have to compromise compromise doesn't matter sometimes you have to

[27:46]compromise even if you think you're right my spouse is wrong it

[27:49]doesn't matter compromise meet them halfway Overlook their mistake it's okay some

[27:57]of us when it comes to our mistakes we have sharp memory

[28:02]we cannot forget we cannot let go let go don't get into

[28:09]such arguments if you develop this trait in you the Hadith States

[28:12]you can enter Heaven from any door that you like so the

[28:17]Believers enter through the doors of Heaven in our Hadith it's mentioned

[28:20]that on every gate of paradise these following three phrases are inscribed

[28:26]Allah has them engraved on the doors of paradise there is no

[28:34]God but Allah [Music] foreign these are the three are inscribed on

[28:47]the doors of paradise so the Believers enter Paradise now what do

[28:51]you see in Paradise there are several distinct features in Paradise number

[28:57]one is the trees the Holy Quran speaks about the Trees of

[29:00]paradise they are unique distinct trees trees that no one has seen

[29:07]like on planet Earth they cover those Gardens they give you this

[29:11]privacy in your neighborhood and you know one thing that's special about

[29:15]the Quran for instance some time describing to you the branches how

[29:22]they look like some people ask this is Trivial who cares how

[29:28]their branches look like why does the Quran describe trivial things the

[29:32]response to that is it's a very effective literary way to get

[29:37]your attention and to entice you I'll give you an example let's

[29:42]say you go to this out of out of the World experience

[29:44]and you see this mansion that you've never seen anything like nothing

[29:48]like on Earth so your friend is telling you can you describe

[29:52]you what the Mansion looked like you say look when I got

[29:55]there the doorknob was made from emeralds and diamonds that's it enough

[30:02]said you don't need to describe the Mansion anymore if the doorknob

[30:05]is so you know exotic can you imagine what's inside that's an

[30:11]effective way of getting the attention of The Listener so yeah even

[30:16]the Quran describes to you how these branches look like but that

[30:20]is one feature of paradise Now by far the most important Tree

[30:26]in Paradise is the tree of tuba the tree of goodness you

[30:28]know what this tree is what this tree does this tree the

[30:33]trunk of it grows in the house of prophet Muhammad Imam in

[30:40]paradise and it has branches extending into the house of every believer

[30:47]in Paradise and it sh and it Shades everyone in Heaven imagine

[30:52]how massive this tree is what an amazing Tree by the way

[30:56]in our Scriptures it has been mentioned that once Prophet Jesus peace

[30:59]be upon him ask God about this tree about the tree of

[31:04]tuba and God described to Jesus the special features of the tree

[31:08]of tuba now the branches extend into your homes in Paradise one

[31:14]of the features of these branches is that anything you desire the

[31:17]branch brings it to you don't even need to speak it in

[31:21]Paradise if you want a Lamborghini in Paradise you don't need to

[31:27]say God I want a Lamborghini you just will it in your

[31:30]heart the tree of tuba brings it to you anything that crosses

[31:35]your mind any food any activity any experience this tree has been

[31:40]created by God to make that available to you so indeed it

[31:46]is one of the landmarks of Paradise The Tree Of tuba next

[31:49]you have the rivers that the Holy Quran describes now the rivers

[31:53]of paradise are not like the rivers of this Dunya here in

[31:58]order for a river to flow it needs to carve the earth

[32:01]needs to have some depth right you have the riverbed it has

[32:06]some depth it flows the Hadith tells us that on the day

[32:11]of judgment in heaven the rivers of paradise don't have any depth

[32:15]to them they flow on ground level just try to conceptualize that

[32:21]like I said this is beyond our comprehension but they're different so

[32:25]they are actually flowing on the ground with no depth the Quran

[32:32]mentions some of these Rivers some of these rivers are pure water

[32:35]but that water is so sweet it's sweeter than honey and it's

[32:42]wider than gold and it's wider than milk it's really fascinating in

[32:46]how it looks another river that the Holy Quran speaks about is

[32:50]the river of honey you have the river of milk and the

[32:55]river of wine now some people say if wine is bad you

[32:58]should not get drunk in this world why does God want us

[33:01]to get drunk in heaven right no the Quran makes it very

[33:06]clear this wine is different it's made from grapes but it's not

[33:10]the type of wine that intoxicates you you drink it you enjoy

[33:14]its sweetness but it's not intoxicating there is no intoxication in that

[33:23]wine and the massive River in Paradise that flows in every house

[33:26]is the river of kothar that River starts from the you know

[33:31]underneath the Throne of Allah symbolically and it flows through the entire

[33:37]place of paradise the river of kothar which is the gift that

[33:44]Allah gave to Prophet Muhammad that is truly fascinating when you look

[33:48]at the rivers of paradise next you have the Mansions the homes

[33:54]of paradise you know how the Quran describes them the word Mexican

[33:59]in Arabic comes from the word sukun which means Tranquility here in

[34:03]this Dunya in this world my dear brothers and sisters not everyone

[34:08]has tranquility and peace even the rich ones you see some people

[34:11]living in mansions they're not happy they're depressed there's the spiritual void

[34:17]in their lives the Holy Quran describes these Heavenly Mansions as being

[34:25]masaken they give you peace and Tranquility In Heaven There is nothing

[34:29]that disturbs you that's the difference between heaven and this world it's

[34:33]Dar es Salaam it's the house of Peace here in this world

[34:35]even if you're sitting in the nicest Mansion overlooking the beach any

[34:42]minute something bad can happen any minute they call you your secretary

[34:45]calls you hey the stock market crashed you lost 10 trillion you

[34:48]lost 5 billion here you lost 30 million here your son got

[34:54]into an accident he's hospitalized any minute there is something in this

[34:58]world that spoils your fun but not on the day of judgment

[35:00]and the Hadith tells us that many of these homes they are

[35:07]see-through such that light penetrates through them and passes through them and

[35:12]psychologically this has been proven to be very effective to change your

[35:15]mood when you have that natural light coming into your house do

[35:19]you know now the size of these homes I will share with

[35:24]you a narration that will shock you and will show you how

[35:27]small and insignificant this world is the Hadith States for some Believers

[35:34]for the average believer on the day of judgment the almighty God

[35:40]gives you 40 million cities listen to this 40 million cities remember

[35:46]you're going to stay there for eternity right not a trillion years

[35:49]eternity 40 million cities each city has 40 million mansions and castles

[35:58]every Castle has 40 million rooms and each room has one thousand

[36:07]doors made of gold each room is bigger than planet Earth 40

[36:12]million times and then we fight over a few square meters in

[36:20]this world country invades another country just for some more land just

[36:26]for some more whatever resources and that's what Allah has for you

[36:30]is it really worth it we kill each other we fight one

[36:34]another we bring down each other just for a little bit of

[36:35]land in this world you don't know how many fights I've seen

[36:40]Between Brothers business partners over five meters 20 meters 30 meters and

[36:44]Allah is giving you that each room is bigger than planet Earth

[36:50]40 million times love this universe today scientists are telling you if

[36:55]you want to see the universe across and it's expanding rapidly it's

[37:00]90 billion light years across can you fathom what that means 90

[37:06]billion light years Heaven is created by the way we in the

[37:11]school of Elizabeth we believe that heaven has been created the imams

[37:13]were very clear it's created it exists and all that you see

[37:18]is just the first Heaven there's seven Heavens all that you see

[37:22]the 90 billion light years across as the first heaven can you

[37:26]imagine the size of Earth in this universe and we're fighting over

[37:30]a few meters of land over here now someone could say what

[37:34]am I going to do with all these palaces all these cities

[37:36]number one you're going to be there for eternity every Palace has

[37:40]distinct features that you want to explore every room has different specifications

[37:46]and features but secondly the most important Point that's really profound Believers

[37:53]on the day of judgment will have the honor to host everyone

[37:58]in Paradise imagine how many angels people Believers prophets imams are in

[38:05]Paradise God gives you the honor to host them just think about

[38:09]this is there an honor greater than you being the host and

[38:15]the rasulullah comes and he's your guest that day Imam Ali is

[38:20]your guest Prophet Jesus is your guest Allah gives you that Kingdom

[38:25]that honor that's how merciful he is and we fight for this

[38:28]Dunya we destroy that heaven because of sins in this world is

[38:32]it really worth it imagine how would you feel you know many

[38:34]of you you know this when you are generous and you bring

[38:40]guests you feel good you feel good imagine imagine if God on

[38:43]the day of judgment gives you that Kingdom and he says today

[38:46]everyone's invited to your village to your Mansion to your city everyone

[38:51]all prophets from Adam to the khatam they are your guests imagine

[38:58]the honor you're serving them that's the spiritual reward of paradise so

[39:03]truly these palaces of paradise are Indescribable the Quran just gives us

[39:10]a quick Glimpse the Hadith gives us a very brief glimpse now

[39:13]one of the pleasures of paradise is also you'll be surprised music

[39:19]yes I know in Islam we have restrictions on music but in

[39:22]Paradise one of the greatest Pleasures is music but you know what

[39:27]the music is I'll tell you what the music is music has

[39:30]two sources in Paradise number one is the Heavenly Creatures like they

[39:36]sing the praise of Allah they say subhanallah alhamdulillah all praises to

[39:42]do to God the way they thank God generates such Joy to

[39:48]the ears you've never heard anything like it before the second source

[39:52]of Music in heaven is that there is a tree that God

[39:58]has created it has Silver Bells then a breeze a Heavenly breathes

[40:03]moves these bells and you listen to these bells moving glorifying God

[40:08]the Hadith States if the people of this world were to hear

[40:11]that sound they would literally die from Joy but this is for

[40:19]the one who passed his test and the person who was able

[40:21]to say to heart no to Haram music in this world you

[40:25]know there is there there is an appropriate singing and music in

[40:28]this world we've examined the effects of inappropriate music and singing today

[40:32]look at the lyrics that we have out there in society 70

[40:37]of all lyrics they have negative references they're about violence drugs sex

[40:43]getting drunk seventy percent of all lyrics this is why it's affecting

[40:50]the mental health of our youth those who develop addiction to music

[40:53]the Hadith States the one who said no to this type of

[40:58]music and singing in Dunya Allah will bless him with that type

[41:01]of heavenly music on the day of judgment people have children in

[41:06]Paradise or no obviously the women are going to say look we're

[41:09]already miserable in this life through pregnancy you want us to go

[41:11]through that again no forget it we're not interested no the Hadith

[41:15]States in heaven there is no pregnancy however if you wish to

[41:22]have a child you just ask Allah that I desire to have

[41:25]a child Allah instantly creates a child for you and then you

[41:29]can have the joy of playing with that playing with that child

[41:32]so there is no pregnancy but Allah creates that child instantaneously the

[41:39]final point before we quickly conclude with the spiritual pleasure of paradise

[41:43]do animals go to paradise or no believe it or not this

[41:48]is a question that many people ask about today people really are

[41:53]interested do animals go my pet is it going to go to

[41:57]paradise or no we're worried about our pets more than we worry

[41:59]about ourselves in this agent era right generally speaking animals don't go

[42:05]to heaven God will show them Mercy but they will not go

[42:10]to heaven with human beings why here's the reason why Heaven is

[42:15]the graduation for believers imagine if you go to college after years

[42:21]and years of doing your studies and your PhD now you're graduating

[42:25]you go on your graduation day your University is honoring you and

[42:30]your way you're wearing your graduation Robin cap imagine if you're standing

[42:36]on stage graduating they put all these animals with you they put

[42:39]a monkey next to you and they make the monkey wear the

[42:41]graduation gown with you how are you gonna feel would you feel

[42:49]good you'll feel insulted what are you doing here you know I

[42:53]worked hard I'm graduating you're honoring me you're putting these animals with

[42:57]me and they're wearing the graduation cap come on that's insulting to

[43:00]me as a human being right that's the idea so the reason

[43:05]why animals in general don't go to heaven is because heaven is

[43:09]the place for human beings who use their intellect and struggled against

[43:13]their desires Allah honors you if all animals go there that is

[43:19]in a way insulting to the human being that's why only some

[43:22]animals will make it to Heaven any animal for instance that was

[43:27]used for pilgrimage that makes it to heaven the she camel of

[43:31]prophet Salah that goes to heaven the dog of us that goes

[43:36]to heaven certain animals that have a special story with prophets they

[43:39]end up going to Paradise for instance and yes if in heaven

[43:42]you desire to have your pet you can have your pet because

[43:47]the Quran and the Hadith are very clear you can ask for

[43:49]anything that you want anything if in heaven you're still concerned about

[43:53]your little kid Allah will give you your little kid don't worry

[43:57]about that the final Point Here My Dear brothers and sisters Allah

[44:02]in the Holy Quran when he talks about the rivers of paradise

[44:10]the pleasures of paradise Allah says the satisfaction of God is greater

[44:15]you know the prophets that imams they didn't worship God because they

[44:21]wanted to go to heaven that's you and I we're shallow in

[44:26]our mentality not you I say it to myself we need heaven

[44:33]to entice us look people are childish at their core the reason

[44:36]why we do things is either because of Rewards or punishments why

[44:40]do people behave in society why do people generally speaking don't break

[44:44]the laws because they're scared of punishment if tomorrow Nova Scotia says

[44:49]we're pulling the police force from the streets we trust you guys

[44:53]are all good citizens nobody is going to speed nobody's going to

[44:55]pass the red light what do you think is going to happen

[44:59]I'm not stepping outside tomorrow if that were to happen is there

[45:01]going to be chaos in the streets and freeways right people behave

[45:04]because you either need to threat them with a fine or you

[45:09]entice them with a reward just like children do this I'll give

[45:12]you a cookie if you do this I'll ground you that's how

[45:15]we are at our core and that's why the Quran knows our

[45:17]psychology and Allah speaks of that but there are people who are

[45:22]higher than that there are people who do good not to get

[45:26]praised by the people not to benefit because they truly love Humanity

[45:32]because they truly love Allah that's why Imam Ali says I have

[45:36]worshiped God not because I'm scared of hell that's the worship of

[45:42]slaves they obey their masters because they're scared of punishment not because

[45:46]I'm going to go to heaven that's the worship of merchants I

[45:51]have worshiped God because I have found him worthy of being worshiped

[45:56]because I see the beauty in worshiping the almighty God Allah says

[46:02]in heaven the greatest pleasure for the people of Heaven is the

[46:07]satisfaction of Allah I'll give you an example that I'll mention to

[46:11]you the Hadith that further elaborates on that in this world there

[46:15]are things that are more valuable to you than any amount of

[46:20]money any Castle any car there is someone that you love let's

[46:27]say you're a child your little daughter your son comes up to

[46:32]you hugs you kisses you and tells you baba I love you

[46:35]how would you feel if you've come back from work believe me

[46:40]if you've had a stressful day just your child does that to

[46:43]you you feel distressed you feel in heaven when your child does

[46:48]that sometimes your spouse a fellow believer thanks you from the bottom

[46:53]of their heart and it's sincere and the person says I love

[46:56]you or your loved one if you're in love with someone and

[46:58]that person says I love you there's nothing more pleasing to your

[47:02]ears and soul than hearing I love you from your loved one

[47:08]it's the most precious thing in the universe imagine if in this

[47:12]world this is the case on the day of judgment there is

[47:17]nothing more pleasurable than for the people of paradise than their lord

[47:22]telling them I love you and I'm satisfied with you that's the

[47:27]true Paradise and hence the Hadith states on the day of judgment

[47:30]the people of Heaven are enjoying themselves with all these different joys

[47:36]when the almighty God commands them God generates a voice to speak

[47:41]to him because God is not a physical entity even on the

[47:43]day of judgment we don't literally see God because God is above

[47:48]space and time the almighty God tells them are you enjoying yourselves

[47:53]all people of Heaven they say yes Ya Allah we thank you

[47:59]for all these Joys God will tell them but there is something

[48:02]greater than what you're experiencing they say to him oh God what

[48:08]could be greater than all these Joys that we're experiencing what could

[48:12]possibly be greater cannot get any better the almighty God tells them

[48:19]no I'll show you something that's greater than the joys that you're

[48:23]in they tell him oh God what is that Joy they tell

[48:29]him Allah tells them I the king of the Universe I am

[48:31]pleased with you on this day and I expressed to you that

[48:37]I love all of you the inhabitants of Heaven that's the real

[48:41]gift in Paradise so the people of paradise will say to God

[48:44]according to the scriptures they will say to God God you are

[48:50]truthful the fact that you are satisfied with us you're pleased with

[48:53]us the fact that now you truly love us God does love

[48:58]us but you've allowed us to love you back and you love

[49:01]us and you express that love to us this is the greatest

[49:05]joy in Paradise let that be your motivator my dear brothers and

[49:08]sisters next time you're about to sin wrong someone do something evil

[49:12]don't be scared because there's hell that's going to scare me just

[49:20]see the beauty of God this God that loves me so much

[49:22]why should I sin against his laws let the love of Allah

[49:28]subhanahu ta'ala always guide you let the love of Allah Shine from

[49:32]your heart Allah the Quran states God is the light of the

[49:36]heavens and the Earth and that light shines from your heart but

[49:42]we through jealousy through arrogance through sins through violations we dim that

[49:49]light every sin puts a dusting on this light have you seen

[49:51]a lamp when the dust collects on it when the dust is

[49:55]so thick and heavy you can't see the light anymore that's what

[49:58]we do to this heart in this beautiful month of Ramadan we

[50:02]have the most amazing opportunity to polish the heart with forgiveness with

[50:07]acts of goodness with generosity with repentance once you do that you

[50:14]will feel the light of Allah in your hearts we ask Allah

[50:17]to open our hearts in this blessed month of Ramadan to his

[50:21]words to his guidance we ask Allah to forgive us our sins

[50:28]all those who are ill o Allah we ask you to grant

[50:29]them a speedy recovery although suffering around the world we ask we

[50:37]ask you to give them a speedy relief foreign [Music]
