Ziyarat e Aal-e-Yasin is an important Ziyarat of Imam e Zaman A.S. It is actually a Hadith Qudsi (direct saying of Allah(swt)) as reported in Mafatih-al-Jinnan.  According to the traditions, "Aal-e-Yaseen" is equivalent to Ale-e-Muhammad" (family Of Prophet Muhammad A.S) and is the correct pronunciation (Qira'at) of verse 37:130 of the Holy Quran. Beside its superb beauty, one of the interesting points about this Dua after the Ziyarat is that, in it, we confess all the central beliefs one by one. It is also recommended to be recited to obtain relief from oppression. (source: duas.org)

Shaykh Sadooq (r) relates from an authentic source that Imam Raza (A.S.) related from his ancestors, who related it from Ameerul Momineen Ali bin Abi Talib (A.S.) that on the last friday of Shabaan, the Prophet of Allah delivered the sermon to them.

A reminder for all of us:
We as followers of Imam Mahdi (AJTF) will have to make decision in our own selves and give sincere replies on how sincere we are...
Are our acts and character satisfactory for the Imam? Are we sincere with his holy being? Are we not making the mistake of regarding ourselves on self-made rank of piety? Are other believers satisfied with me? Have we fulfilled the right of Imam (AS) and consumed lawful sustenance? Are we lamenting his health and well being? Do we illuminate every gathering with his mention? Indeed, we will have to take our account that how much we love our Imam. Can we fully dedicate ourselves to that infallible? We would have to evaluate our days and nights, that our worship is not devoid of his remembrance? Is there some pain of his separation in our hearts? Revenger of Karbala sheds tears of blood...how restless he is! Do we share this distress of his?!

Incident narrated by Ayatollah Sayyid Mohsin al-Hakeem

Intention is the pillar of worship and the essence and foundation of action. The most sacred acts are spoiled because of the mixed intentions behind them, while the simplest acts gain in value on account of the purely good intentions behind them. Anyone who strives in the way of God will also be guided by God toward His path:

وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا

“As for those who strive in Us, We shall surely guide them in Our ways.” (Surah al-Ankaboot, verse 69)
