اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا تَوْفِيقَ الطَّاعَةِ وَ بُعْدَ الْمَعْصِيَةِ ، وَ صِدْقَ النِّيَّةِ وَ عِرْفَانَ الْحُرْمَةِ ، وَ أَكْرِمْنَا بِاْلهُدَى وَ الاِسْتِقَامَةِ
O Allah, bestow upon us the success of obedience, the avoidance of disobedience, sincerity and knowledge of the forbidden; and confer upon us guidance and straightness. (Al-Misbah, by al-Kaf`amy P.281)

Ahmad b. Muhammad Ardabeli is popularly known as Muqaddas Ardabeli was proverbial for his piety and austerity. He is also well known for his extensive research in Shia Fiqh. He lived in Najaf, during the Safavid rule in Iran.

Muqaddas Ardabili was one of the greatest Shiite Muslim scholars of the tenth century AH. As a prominent jurist and especially due to possessing a high level of morality and spirituality, he was admired and praised by scholars.

In this video, Sheikh Shabbar Mahdi outlines the piety of this great individual, explaining the importance of adhering to the rights of others and if a person is given position in society and power over people he has an Amanah (Trust) that he has to take care of the rights of those people who are within the community (of the person who has the special position in society).
