عَلِيٌّ أَمِيرِي وَنِعْمَ الأَمِيرْ نَصِيرُ النَّبِيِّ وَخَيْرُ النَّصِيرْ أَبُو الحَسَنَيْنِ وَزَوْجُ البَتُولْ وَوَارِثُ طَهَ وَأَعْلَى وَزِيرْ عَلِيٌّ أَمِيرِي بِأَمْرِ الإِلَه العَظِيمِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ سِوَاهْ لَقَدْ هَامَ قَلْبِي بِعِطْرِ شَذَاهْ فَأَحْيَا فُؤَادِيَ ذَاكَ العَبِيرْ ْعَلِيٌّ عَلِيٌّ عَلِيٌّ عَلِيّ ْظُهُورٌ خَفِيٌّ خَفَاءٌ جَلِيّ ْوَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِحَقٍّ وَلِيّ وَلِلْحَقِّ قُطْبٌ رَحَاهُ يُدِيرْ عَلِيٌّ سَمِيُّ الإِلَهِ العَلِيمْ وَوَارِثُ عِلْمَ النَّبِيِّ الكَرِيمْ وَعِدْلُ الكِتَابِ بِنَهْجٍ قَوِيمْ بِهِ الفَوْزُ وَالخَيْرُ لِلْمُسْتَنِيرْ عَلِيٌّ خُلَاصَةُ نُورِ الرَّسُولْ وَنُورُ الهُدَى لَا يَلِيهِ أُفُولْ بِذَاتِهِ صَارَتْ تَحِيرُ العُقُولْ فَحَقَّ لَهَا فِيهِ لَمَّا تَحِيرْ عَلِيٌّ بِبَيْتِ الإِلَهِ ابْتَدَا مَسِيرَتَهُ مُذْ هَوَى سَاجِدَا أَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ شَاهِدَا بِتَوْحِيدِ خَالِقِهِ إِذْ يُشِيرْ عَلِيٌّ بَدَا وَسْطَ بَيْتِ الحَرَامْ وَفِي مَسْجِدٍ نَالَ حُسْنَ الخِتَامْ وَلِلْحَقِّ كَانَ اللِّوَاءَ وَالحُسَامْ بِأَمْرِ الإِلَهِ اللَّطِيفِ الخَبِيرْ عَلِيٌّ وَمَنْ حَازَ تَاجَ العُلَا سِوَاكَ وَمَنْ لِلْحَسُودِ ابْتَلَا وَمَنْ فِيكَ وَثَّقَ عَقْدَ الوَلَا بِحُبِّكَ قَدْ نَالَ نَفْسَ المَصِيرْ عَلِيٌّ بِجَاهِ النَّبِيِّ الأَمِينْ وَبِضْعَتُهِ وَالحَسَنِ وَالحُسَيْنْ بِشِبْلِكَ عَجِّلْ بِفَتْحٍ مُبِينْ وَيَسِّرْ لَنَا كُلَّ أَمْرٍ عَسِيرْ ْعَلِيٌّ عَلِيٌّ عَلِيٌّ عَلِيّ ْعَلِيٌّ عَلِيٌّ عَلِيٌّ عَلِيّ ْعَلِيٌّ عَلِيٌّ عَلِيٌّ عَلِيّ

At times, a young person comes to me in the yard of the Imam’s shrine and asks, “What should I do for Imam Reza (as) to look at me?” What does this mean to say, “What should I do for the Imam…”?! If he hadn’t looked at you, you wouldn’t have been in the shrine, my dear.
A person asks, “How should I visit the Imam for my pilgrimage to be accepted?” I swear I don’t know either. If you don’t know, tell this to Imam Reza (as). Say, “O Imam, I don’t know how to visit you for my pilgrimage to be accepted.” Don’t say, “I just want the Imam to glance at me.” This is bad and impolite. Why should I want him to just glance at me? I want Imam Reza (as) to welcome me very much. Let everyone who has come to the shrine feel regretful that Imam Reza (as) has shown mercy to a person who was behind everyone else.
O Imam, show your mercy and kindness. Do a miracle and take my hand. Those who are already good are good themselves! Show your power and help me get ahead. You are able to do so. When beseeching God or the Household of the Prophet, some people act as if they have gone to a shop across the street. Such a person thinks, “If I want to borrow some money from the shop keeper, he’ll give one million tomans at the most. He won’t give one billion! I’ll ask for one hundred so it won’t be hard for him.” Yes, the shop across the street is like this.
But Imam Reza (as) isn’t like this. He can give great amounts! When giving, they pay attention to our hope in them. Is there anyone tonight who says he or she wants to get ahead of everyone? “I want you to welcome me more than everyone else.” Did anyone say this?! You didn’t say this! Then on the Day of Judgment, they’ll tell you that you didn’t ask for this. You’ll see one of his pilgrims has a better position. “What did he do?” “He asked for it.” “I wish I had asked for this too.” “You could have.” O Imam Reza (as), welcome me very much. Let everyone who has come to the shrine feel regretful that Imam Reza (as) has shown mercy to a person who was behind everyone else. Do a miracle and take my hand.
