It’s permissible to authorize another person to use our license to purchase something (e.g. to buy a car from a dealer) and charge a fee for that as long as both parties reach an agreement.

When it comes to seeking Islamic education, we are described as having faqaha. There are two levels of faqaha (religious understanding): 1- Everyone is required to learn the basics of religion. The primary reason why people are ignorant of religious knowledge is not lack of access, but negligence. People pay so much attention when it comes to worldly affairs. For example, someone who wants to go on vacation does a lot of research to find out the best destination, hotels, restaurants, cheapest fares, etc. Some people take weeks to do all that research! Hence people spend time when they want something, but when it comes to religion, they don’t want to spend the time. This is negligence! For us to worship God properly at the bare minimum (the wajibats), the average person just needs 30-50 hours to learn.
