This video introduces the long vowels. They sound the same as short vowels except their duration is doubled.
There are three long vowels: alif, waw, and ya.
In this video, you will learn the long vowel alif.
If you double the duration of fathah, the result is a long vowel alif.

In this video, you will learn the letters ha (ه), waw (و), and ya (ي).

Hā is pronounced from the lowest part of the throat known as the glottis. As
simple as exhaling and breathing out air through your mouth.

Wāw is pronounced by rounding the lips and bringing them closer together
and making the ‘w’ sound simultaneously.

Yā is pronounced by bringing the middle of the tongue closer to the hard
palate and allowing air out from that narrow passage.
