[0:02][Music] [Music] ald [Music] [Music] muhamad [Music] my respected Elders brothers sisters
[1:19]we are still celebrating the holy birth of our 12th IM IM
[1:28]muhamed last night we discussed misconceptions pertaining to the life birth long
[1:46]age the reappearance of the Imam we discussed important matters that perhaps
[1:56]face some ambiguity tonight my dear brothers and sisters we will address
[2:04]a topic very relevant to the concept of IMI and it's a
[2:13]sort of mentality that many sh have that many sh believe in
[2:17]many sh suffer from Shia Muslims and humans in general and that
[2:25]is the idea of victimhood mindset when a person has the idea
[2:33]of a victimhood victimhood mindset what do we mean by this victim
[2:38]of mindset is a habitual way of thinking where certain individuals constantly
[2:49]see themselves as victims victims of other people victims of other people's
[2:56]actions circumstances they are always on the receiving end of hatred negative
[3:06]behavior they are always victims although this not might be true yes
[3:14]sometimes a person can become a victim you can become a victim
[3:19]we can become a victim but to claim that throughout your life
[3:23]ever since you're a child until you become an old person you
[3:29]have always been a victim of others your siblings your parents your
[3:33]cousins your teacher your professor your co-workers even when you're driving when
[3:40]you're in an accident you're the victim the other person's the oppressor
[3:45]doesn't work that way you can't always be the victim sometimes you're
[3:51]a victim sometimes someone else is your victim this is how it
[3:57]works but for some people they have this victim Ood mentality victimhood
[4:02]mindset that they are always the victims and this is a very
[4:11]dangerous sort of mentality why because it means they have no control
[4:15]over their lives they have absolutely no control over their lives their
[4:20]lives are controlled by others or they are predestined to be victims
[4:26]and they have no say about this from the day that they
[4:28]were born allaha has destined for them to be victims of others
[4:35]and they have absolutely no control over their lives of course for
[4:43]these individuals playing the victim sometimes helps them it helps them feel
[4:49]good why because they can attribute all of their failures to being
[4:56]a victim why did my marriage fail because I was a victim
[5:00]of my wife or a wife says I was a victim of
[5:05]my husband I I was a victim of my children why did
[5:07]your business Veil because I was a victim I was mistreated why
[5:13]were you fired I was a victim I was doing perfectly fine
[5:19]but I was a victim of my boss or the company that
[5:21]I work for you see it allows them to justify their failures
[5:29]their mishaps everything that happens wrong in their life it's because they're
[5:34]victims they bear no responsibility it's of no fault of their own
[5:38]they've always done things right but it is Misfortune on their side
[5:45]that has caused them failure you see this is why some people
[5:53]result to always having the victimhood sort of mindset and mentality you
[5:58]see my dear friends we have individuals maybe you know some I
[6:05]know some maybe we have such individuals in our families and our
[6:09]communities maybe my friend your friend they always blame their problems on
[6:15]others always their business failed it's because no one gave them a
[6:23]loan no one gave them an opportunity maybe because they speak a
[6:28]different language or they hold a different color and they were a
[6:37]victim of racial Injustice or racial and social bias their business failed
[6:43]not because of them but because of others their marriage failed not
[6:49]because of them God forbid they're they're infallible the marriage failed because
[6:54]of others because my mother-in-law got involved because my father-in-law got involved
[7:00]because of my wife because of my children because of the economy
[7:04]always finger blaming others you know they say that when you finger
[7:09]blame others when you point a finger at others there's three other
[7:15]fingers coming back at you three other fingers if you have one
[7:18]finger to point at others there's three fingers coming back at you
[7:22]but for some they refuse to accept failure responsibility for failure person
[7:30]Al responsibility I was responsible for my own failure impossible I played
[7:36]it by the book I did everything as I was supposed to
[7:42]it's not my fault it's not my fault if they fail as
[7:44]parents there are some parents that fail in their parenting skills but
[7:53]do they blame themselves no my kids had bad friends it was
[7:57]because of school it was because of the public school system it's
[8:01]because of social media it's because of TV what about myself do
[8:07]I have shortcomings as a father towards my children as a mother
[8:10]do I have shortcomings towards my children for some no they never
[8:15]have shortcomings their failure is always a result of other people's actions
[8:21]a consequence of other people's actions I don't accept responsibility for my
[8:30]own failure they are always victims of discrimination racial Injustice some always
[8:37]blame their failures on the evil eye I'm a victim of the
[8:44]evil eye Hass envy and jealousy why didn't I succeed here Envy
[8:47]why didn't I get a car accident why did I get in
[8:52]a car accident envy and jealous not because I'm a bad driver
[8:55]but because the of the evil eye all of my losses all
[9:02]of my failures I blame on the evil eye we have such
[9:05]individuals family members friends they refuse to accept responsibility for their failures
[9:13]and shortcomings it's the easy way out blame others be a victim
[9:17]victim of the evil eye my cousin I know he's jealous of
[9:23]me my cousin I know she has her evil eye on me
[9:27]it's the easy way it's a very easy way to deny responsibility
[9:33]for your failures and shortcomings and blame others right as Muslims unfortunately
[9:41]some of us play the victim the victim card we blame our
[9:49]failures as a Muslim Community sometimes we speak of an individual failure
[9:54]I fail as an individual sometimes we fail as a community as
[10:00]a Muslim Community we fail and politics we never win politicians don't
[10:06]cater to us do we have anyone in politics no do you
[10:12]want do do we have anyone in Congress in the parliament how
[10:14]many ministers do we have no one from other communities they have
[10:18]good representation but not from the Muslim Community why there's Injustice there's
[10:25]raal there there's racial Injustice when there is a right-wing government we
[10:30]blame the rightwing government when there's a leftwing government we blame the
[10:33]leftwing government but do we accept responsibility ever as a community no
[10:42]do we have shortcomings as a community no we're perfect it's always
[10:46]others who are setting us back who putting who are putting us
[10:51]behind we're the victims of racial inequality and racial Injustice yes of
[11:02]obviously some Muslims are victimized this is a fact some Muslims are
[11:07]persecuted there is some sort of racial Injustice I don't deny this
[11:14]in America in Canada in Europe Australia New Zealand there is there
[11:20]is racism obviously there is racism there's racial Injustice but we tend
[11:26]to exaggerate we multiply it by 10 and we use it as
[11:31]an excuse why get involved in politics we will never win we
[11:34]will never win we will never have a member of parliament how
[11:38]do you know you never win did you try did we ever
[11:43]have did we ever have a candidate that ran for presidency or
[11:50]an office or to become a minister or a member of Parliament
[11:53]and they lost so that we say we tried and we lost
[11:58]we never begin we've lost the battle before the the battle even
[12:00]started this is what the victimhood mindset means that you've lost from
[12:08]the beginning let me give you an example God forbid God forbid
[12:13]someone is diagnosed with cancer there's two types of individuals there's a
[12:18]type of individual that puts up a fight with cancer that says
[12:22]I will not give up to cancer I will put up a
[12:25]fight and you see some people they survive cancer and they're able
[12:33]to live a normal life or they hold a strong battle with
[12:37]cancer for a year two years 3 years they might be stage
[12:41]four cancer but they live for over a year why because they
[12:47]have resilience they have a sense of fighting for their life and
[12:51]you have some individuals they're told they will live for 6 months
[12:56]but they live for 6 weeks why it's not because cancer has
[13:03]taken over them doctors said this person will live for 6 months
[13:06]why did they die after 6 weeks because they lost the battle
[13:11]from the beginning because they did not even fight the battle they
[13:14]had lost as soon as they heard the Sea of cancer they
[13:17]lost the battle we Muslims are the same it's easier for us
[13:23]to blame blame others the West hates us the West has a
[13:30]bias against against us this is not fully true yes there is
[13:33]some bias but to say the entire West has a bias against
[13:40]us this is not true proof of that is that we are
[13:43]here today alhamdulillah We Gather freely independently without pressure we can celebrate
[13:52]the birthday of our 12th Imam freely no one tells us anything
[13:56]if we can do this why can't we do others but some
[14:02]have this mentality that we Muslims will never succeed in this Society
[14:06]the Israeli Lobby will not allow us the zionists will not allow
[14:12]us Israel will not allow us politicians don't care for us they
[14:15]only care for the Jewish Community why do they care for the
[14:18]Jewish Community why why don't they care for the Muslim Community is
[14:24]it just because we are always the victims is that the easier
[14:28]way or because we are lazy we are Idol we don't make
[14:37]an effort to work for our communities to establish something for us
[14:41]to build a future for us in this country and in Europe
[14:48]and in America we're lazy in Arabic there's a saying that says
[14:52]of course don't take it literally there's a saying that says if
[14:55]a person doesn't know how to dance they say the ground is
[15:00]crooked the sound is crooked they don't know how to dance of
[15:03]course you shouldn't dance but they say the ground is crooked that's
[15:08]why I can't dance some Muslims don't want to admit that they're
[15:13]lazy and Idol they say we're victims it doesn't matter what we
[15:17]do whatever we do at the end of the day we will
[15:21]lose and they say look look at look at what's happening biggest
[15:27]proof is is the oppression that is taking place in Gaza and
[15:32]in Lebanon and in some parts of the Muslim World they will
[15:36]hate us they will kill us no matter what this is the
[15:43]mentality of some Muslims we come to some Shia some Shia also
[15:49]have the victimhood card the victimhood mindset they say that we will
[15:55]always be persecuted we will always be killed look at Afghan I
[16:01]remember a while back in Afghanistan almost every Friday someone will come
[16:06]open fire on the Shia in a mosque or in Pakistan or
[16:12]in Iraq or in Lebanon they say look we will always be
[16:18]killed we will always be persecuted we will always be the victims
[16:22]whether we make an effort or we don't we've lost so let
[16:28]us just wait for for our im as I mentioned before as
[16:34]I mentioned last night some said we will wait for IM to
[16:36]come and fix all of our problems we just have to wait
[16:40]we have to wait they slap us on our right cheek we
[16:45]give them our left cheek they stamp on us they step they
[16:50]step on us that's fine because we will have an IM that
[16:53]will come at the end of time and take care of everything
[16:57]this is a problem this is a problem problem with this mindset
[17:00]some say look at the lives of the which one of the
[17:06]imams lived a normal life none of them they were either killed
[17:09]by the sword or they were [Music] poisoned it is evident from
[17:20]day one that the sh are meant to be killed are meant
[17:21]to be persecuted they're either slaughtered by the sword or they're poisoned
[17:27]and killed and this will remain forever Shia will the Shia will
[17:34]always remain persecuted and hence there Shia genocide in Afghanistan and in
[17:40]Pakistan and and Lebanon sh will continue to suffer we are the
[17:44]victims we will continue to be the victims this is a a
[17:49]problem my dear friends to have this sort of mindset and mentality
[17:53]and to give up from day one before the battle even starts
[17:58]to give up and say that we will always be victims this
[18:04]has dangerous consequences for our communities and that is why all the
[18:08]other communities are advancing they're advancing and we are behind we will
[18:17]continue to be behind have you seen some youth in school when
[18:21]they get bad grades you ask them why do you get bad
[18:26]grades my teachers they hate me how many teachers hate you well
[18:29]my math future hates me my chemistry future hates me my physics
[18:34]oh they all hate you is that why you have poor grades
[18:37]this is the simple explanation it's the easiest explanation instead of acknowledging
[18:43]that you didn't study that you were not prepared for your exams
[18:47]that you slacked off you didn't take your studies seriously you put
[18:52]the blame on the teachers on the principal on the school they
[18:57]hate me or there's prejudice against me because I'm Muslim because I'm
[19:01]sh because of my color because of my parents because we're IM
[19:05]immigrants this is a problem my dears this is a problem what
[19:10]are the characteristics of a victimhood mindset how can you discover a
[19:17]person who has a victimhood mindset number one always blaming others always
[19:25]blaming others my failure in all aspects of of Life are not
[19:31]a consequence of my actions but others they always have someone to
[19:37]blame a teacher a sibling a parent a friend a coworker it's
[19:42]always someone it's always someone but it varies from story to story
[19:48]but there's always someone who's out after them to get them this
[19:51]is one number two they never hold themselves accountable someone who always
[19:58]feels they're a victim you never hear them say I did this
[20:04]wrong I got this wrong I made a mistake never never they're
[20:07]Flawless they never make mistakes they never hold themselves accountable this is
[20:13]a sign of victimhood mentality victimhood mindset number three they the way
[20:20]they see the world they see the world as a hostile place
[20:24]the world is an unjust place there's always inequality life is unfair
[20:32]life is unjust with such individuals life is never fair for them
[20:36]not when they were studying not when they were working not when
[20:41]they were starting a business and not when they were starting a
[20:45]family life is never fair life is unjust number four they always
[20:54]seek validation sympathy and support why didn't you support me why didn't
[21:00]you stand by by my side why didn't you help me why
[21:02]didn't you defend me they're always blaming others they have high expectations
[21:06]of others to defend them to support them to so to show
[21:14]sympathy towards them they become very sensitive why don't you support me
[21:17]why don't you stand with me why don't you speak out for
[21:21]me and number five they resist Solutions you tell them there's a
[21:28]problem with your marriage let me give you help they say no
[21:30]no no no I don't need Solutions it's out of my control
[21:34]it's out of my control the problem is in my wife my
[21:40]family my children you tell them why don't you fix your business
[21:43]there's there are easy steps no no no it's it's no good
[21:49]no solution is good enough why because it's out of their control
[21:52]there's a higher being that wants them to fail there's a higher
[22:00]being that is out after them to get them to fail so
[22:02]they resist all solutions any sort of solution that you tell them
[22:07]to fix their marriage to fix their business to fix their home
[22:10]to fix any problem they have they resist Solutions why because the
[22:14]problem is not with them the problem is with [Music] others how
[22:26]can we fix this problem how can we shift from a victimhood
[22:32]mindset to a growth mindset is this possible absolutely it's possible is
[22:38]it possible for someone to break away from the shackles of their
[22:41]mind and their mentality and their preconceived notions of being a victim
[22:48]to break away from these shackles and to grow as an individual
[22:54]as a family and most importantly as a community is it possible
[22:59]absolutely it's posible number one we have to acknowledge the fact that
[23:04]there is no predestination to believe that Allah subhana T created you
[23:11]as a victim and you will always remain a victim this is
[23:14]a mistake who told you this who told you this Allah created
[23:22]us with a free human will Allah says that we've shown human
[23:29]beings two sides two paths it's up to them which path they'd
[23:34]like to to take the path of having faith of being grateful
[23:39]to Allah or the path of ungratefulness it's up to us it's
[23:45]up to you which sort of path to take to be a
[23:49]victim or to grow and be successful we have to acknowledge that
[23:54]our Destinies can change our Destinies are not set set and stone
[24:01]and fact there were some individuals who were victims one day and
[24:07]then they became oppressors they turned from to of course we do
[24:11]not want to become a we just want to grow and become
[24:15]successful we want to stop being victimized and stop playing the victim
[24:20]because that's the easy way out instead we want to take responsibility
[24:26]for our status and pro and improve our status as a community
[24:32]we can do this if we my dear friends we do not
[24:35]change our mindset and our mentality we do not we cannot expect
[24:43]any help from Allah Allah says you take one step towards me
[24:46]I will take 10 steps towards you you make an effort to
[24:51]change and I will help you I will take your hand and
[24:53]I'll help you change Allah says [Music] Allah will not change a
[25:05]people L they change themselves they have the desire to change or
[25:09]not if you have the desire to change believe me my dear
[25:15]friends there is no will that stands in the face of human
[25:18]will other than the will of Allah the will of Allah otherwise
[25:24]we human beings have the ability to change to make change to
[25:31]make a difference in our lives and in the lives of others
[25:35]also to say that we will always be victims why we are
[25:42]Allah subhana tala has promised Victory Allah says that it is the
[25:55]right of upon us that we will support them and stand by
[26:00]their side and guide them and take them to a better situation
[26:09]all you who believe if you support Allah Allah will support you
[26:13]Allah will support you we've seen so many examples of a group
[26:19]of people that had faith in Allah look at Southern Leon and
[26:25]this is an example that I time and time again mention because
[26:28]it's so tangible it's something that we saw a people who lost
[26:32]all that they have from their leaders to their villages to their
[26:38]homes but look at their Spirits look at their Spirits they didn't
[26:42]lose Spirit they didn't lose faith I mentioned this in another Magus
[26:46]in Manchester UK that in carala we have a large population we
[26:51]have alhamdulillah many of them went back to their homes in southern
[26:56]Lebanon we have a large we had a large population of Lebanese
[27:03]brothers and sisters that were displaced from their from their Villages they
[27:09]came to they came toal do you remember the pager incident the
[27:13]pager incident where many of them lost their hands their fingers their
[27:18]eyes some of them lost their lives I saw some of these
[27:23]victims in car I saw one of them in the shrine of
[27:29]ab he had lost several of his fingers he had lost his
[27:31]eyes his eyes were wrapped his hands were wrapped you would think
[27:38]that this person loses faith in Allah loses faith in life that
[27:42]gives up is there a victim More Than This victim is there
[27:48]a group that is more victimized than the did I saw this
[27:54]person with full faith with full confidence with full faith and Allah
[28:03]he was in the shrine of speaking to he said you gave
[28:06]your eyes and you gave your hands and here today we have
[28:13]given our eyes and our hands have we been able to repay
[28:16]you for some of the services that you've done for us and
[28:21]Islam have we been able to repay you for what you've done
[28:27]Subhan these people who've been victimized by but they haven't lost morale
[28:30]they haven't lost Spirit they haven't lost their faith in fact their
[28:35]faith has increased even more it has increased even more they are
[28:41]role models for us Allah supports the Believers and don't think that
[28:51]you will remain a victim forever and don't let an oppressor think
[28:56]that he will remain an oppressor forever a day will come when
[29:03]the oppressor becomes the oppressed and he will be crushed at the
[29:07]hands of those who he oppressed the day that the oppressed receive
[29:18]their right from the oppressor is greater than the day of the
[29:23]oppressor performing his oppression over the oppressed that day will come my
[29:28]dear brothers and sisters we have to learn from our mistakes as
[29:33]a community what mistakes did we have what shortcomings did we have
[29:38]here as a community in the Netherlands in the West in Europe
[29:42]we learn from our mistakes perhaps we had bad times we had
[29:47]difficult times we we Face challenges but we have to learn from
[29:53]these challenges we learn from these challenges anything that doesn't kill us
[29:56]only makes us stronger stronger as a community these failures and challenges
[30:03]that we face as a community they are blessings and disguise as
[30:07]I mentioned last night any challenges that we Face they only help
[30:12]us become grow to to grow to learn to become more mature
[30:20]to receive maturity they make us stronger it's just like any individual
[30:24]that fails in a business they try again and again and they
[30:27]learn from the the past they learn from the mistakes the mistakes
[30:32]that they performed in the first trial they will not perform in
[30:36]the second trial nor in the third trial they learn they say
[30:41]that mistakes are your greatest Capital as a human being as a
[30:46]parent as a spouse any mistake that you perform it is your
[30:52]greatest Capital because it will help you improve improve next time around
[30:59]we have to learn from our mistakes the importance of strategic thinking
[31:04]my dear friends we as a Muslim Community we have to think
[31:09]strategically any community that wishes to grow and expand and prosper we
[31:16]have to think strategically let me ask you a question here in
[31:19]the Netherlands here as a sh Muslim Community how many CEOs do
[31:22]we have how many millionaires do we have yes millionaires you're you
[31:29]heard me correctly how many billionaires do we have you might say
[31:33]say is this the right mentality for us to have Millionaires and
[31:38]billionaires in our community I tell you absolutely absolutely Islam doesn't tell
[31:44]you to become a beggar on the street and to live on
[31:48]welfare and to let the government donate to you and give you
[31:52]charity no Islam says Be Strong be strong physically be be strong
[31:59]poit ically be strong economically I tell youth wherever I go be
[32:06]financially independent strive start a business you might fail once twice but
[32:13]you will succeed like others succeeded a successful businessman was not born
[32:19]to be a successful businessman they failed time and time again but
[32:26]all it takes is once to achieve and to succeed so I
[32:28]asked how many successful CEOs and businessmen do we have here in
[32:31]the Netherlands this is a goal that we should achieve and the
[32:37]next couple of years to have successful CEOs and millionaires in our
[32:42]communities how many politicians do we have in our community how many
[32:45]do we have that are involved in politics and are running for
[32:49]office who wish to improve the status of our communities not to
[32:57]increase their wealth and to enhance their personal status no but to
[33:02]work for others just like the companion of IM who is a
[33:10]minister to harash to harash he would ask IM that can I
[33:17]be a minister to he would say yes Allah has given you
[33:26]a political position use it make use of it not for corruption
[33:33]not for personal gain and Glory but to help others help your
[33:36]community help your loved ones help your people help improve your country
[33:44]we have to plan my dear friends we as a we as
[33:49]a whole as a community as a community here in the Netherlands
[33:51]we have to have a vision and a mission planning is very
[33:55]important strategic planning and unfortunately when we plan we plan 5 months
[34:02]ahead as youth organizations whether here it's at n Association or our
[34:09]other youth organizations here in the Netherlands we plan five months ahead
[34:14]six months ahead what will we do in Ramadan what will we
[34:19]do for what will we do for is this enough absolutely not
[34:23]we have to plan 20 years ahead 30 years ahead Where is
[34:29]the this community headed towards in 20 years 30 years 50 years
[34:33]because others this is what they're doing all the other communities that
[34:37]succeeded in the west they planned ahead they had strategic thinking they
[34:44]were planning while we were busy we we're busy with mundane issues
[34:49]fighting one another over who speaks who's the reiter who's the speaker
[34:56]other communities they were planning 20 years ahead years ahead and that
[35:01]is why we're we're left behind and others are advancing there are
[35:07]some and I mentioned this yesterday in the in the Q&A and
[35:10]this is a message that I wish to deliver to every single
[35:15]community in the west we have some brothers and sisters here from
[35:19]Europe from America from Canada that wish to pack their bags and
[35:23]leave and go home my dear friends where is home this is
[35:29]home this is your home you are Dutch don't let anyone convince
[35:33]you otherwise you are Dutch Muslims you are you are Dutch a
[35:41]Afghans and Dutch Iraqis and Dutch Lebanese you are part of this
[35:44]Society you are part of the fabric of this Society don't tell
[35:50]don't allow anyone to convince you otherwise this is your home plan
[35:55]accordingly just because there's a fuss in the government or because of
[35:58]an issue or School curriculum you're afraid for your children do something
[36:04]about it packing your bags is not the solution packing your bags
[36:09]is taking a white flag and waving it that means you've surrendered
[36:13]you've lost the battle you're the victim and you've accepted to be
[36:20]a victim this is a mistake do something about it you have
[36:23]an issue with School curriculum be active stop being Idol and inactive
[36:30]stop being lazy stop expecting others to do the work I remember
[36:35]in 2013 and 14 when I came here in the Netherlands here
[36:40]in the Netherlands and I've said this story to others but it's
[36:44]the origin of the story is here I remember in 2013 or
[36:48]14 when I came there was a problem regarding halal food who
[36:52]remembers the government was about to ban the Halal food why because
[37:00]it's inhumane it's in you know it's uh not merciful for the
[37:05]animal to be slaughtered and hence they were about to ban food
[37:14]the food but who stood up in the face of this government
[37:18]policy and allowed the slaughtering of animals and a religious way who
[37:24]which Community je the Jewish Community the Muslims benefited from the activism
[37:29]of the Jewish Community think about that for doesn't this show how
[37:35]lazy we are we have to wait for the Jewish Community to
[37:38]rise and speak out and be active so that we eat they
[37:43]work but we eat Hal food we enjoy our hamburgers and [Music]
[37:49]our we work we have to stop allowing others to take initiative
[37:55]what if there were no Jews in the another what if there
[38:00]was no Jewish community in the Netherlands guess what you'd all be
[38:02]vegetarians you would all be vegetarians you see this is our home
[38:11]we are meant to stay here stop thinking about moving moving back
[38:15]home this is this is your home this is your home as
[38:21]long as you raise the banner of Islam and you are law
[38:27]abiding citizens and you practice your religion freely and you promote your
[38:31]school of thought and your religion this is your home don't think
[38:35]of going anywhere else but it requires planning we have a problem
[38:39]let's sit and talk about it whether it's on halal food or
[38:44]on the gender issue in schools or the lgbtq community and their
[38:51]agenda let's talk about it let's discuss it let's discuss how we
[38:55]can overcome this problem let's work together sometimes we have to work
[39:00]together with other communities I mentioned in one lecture that the issue
[39:04]of the whole lgbtq agenda and the gender issue it doesn't just
[39:08]affect Muslims it affects the Jewish community and the Christian Community do
[39:12]you see them packing their bags and leaving no one's leaving we're
[39:15]the ones that leaving we are the ones that are leaving why
[39:19]why isn't anyone else leaving because they haven't surrendered they don't see
[39:25]themselves as victims they're growing as a community we see our as
[39:29]victims we've surrendered we've raised that white flag that we give up
[39:33]take the Netherlands this is your country I'm leaving no this is
[39:40]your country you're not going anywhere you will stand here you will
[39:44]stay here and build a future for your families and your children
[39:48]and yourselves you will build a future for Islam in the Netherlands
[39:52]this is your job your responsibility Allah will hold you accountable Allah
[39:58]will say that I allowed you to come to the Netherlands what
[40:03]did you do for Islam what did you do for IM Hussein
[40:05]what did you do for the this is the cost of living
[40:09]a free life as opposed to our family members in Afghanistan in
[40:15]Kabal and Iraq and Bagdad who do not have the Privileges that
[40:17]we have Allah has given us these privileges but he wants something
[40:20]in return what have we done for the what have we done
[40:26]for Islam what have we done for Ali I will conclude with
[40:31]these two examples my dear friends the Jewish Community look at the
[40:36]Jewish Community read the history of the Jewish Community here in Europe
[40:40]we know what happened to them they were victims they were victims
[40:43]of hatred they were victims of persecution here in in Europe from
[40:49]Poland to the UK here in the Netherlands they were victimized before
[40:54]World War II and we all know what Hitler did to the
[40:59]did to the Jewish community did they give up and say that
[41:03]we will always become victims look at the Jewish Community today how
[41:07]strong they are wherever they are they are strong wherever they are
[41:11]they are rich they are powerful they don't say that we are
[41:15]victims forever we have to learn the Muslim Community has to learn
[41:21]how to be strong and stops being the victim look at the
[41:27]most powerful community in the the West is the Jewish community and
[41:31]they stood strong and they said we will never become victims again
[41:35]but when will we reach that stage to say that we will
[41:39]never become victims again this is the first example the second example
[41:43]is the lgbtq community 20 years ago 30 years ago this community
[41:50]was shunned away unaccepted whether in America or Canada or Europe they
[41:56]were shunned away they were labeled with bad names they were shunned
[42:01]away from jobs they were not given jobs they were not given
[42:04]positions look at them today one of the most powerful communities in
[42:10]the west they've infiltrated all parts of society and politics and Hollywood
[42:17]in journalism and the world's major newspapers the US Embassy across the
[42:22]world European embassies across the the the world and across the globe
[42:30]they promote their agenda they raise their flag they raise their flag
[42:35]they're in support of this community look at where they were look
[42:39]at where they are today except us we Muslims we've remained in
[42:43]the back and we will miss the train unless we wake up
[42:47]my dear friends unless we wake up and we smell the coffee
[42:49]because it will be too late our hope is in the youth
[42:56]our youth the young brothers and sisters you can break away from
[43:00]the victimhood mentality you can do it maybe the older generation cannot
[43:04]but you can our hope is in you and IM has hope
[43:10]in you as well when he returns he wants active members not
[43:17]it his hope is also in you the Imam wants soldiers leaders
[43:21]generals men and women those who he can count on when he
[43:27]comes in I've taken too much of your time I conclude with
[43:31]the Dua of for our IM mam
