[1:13]one of very important teachings of islam it is about the youth

[1:21]and youngs and how to raise the kids so today probably we

[1:27]will speak about these issues a little bit there is some concern

[1:33]there is some conceptions there is some points which is it is

[1:40]very important to the parents to the kids to understand some people

[2:30]they thought parents the responsibilities it is just to offer shelter home

[2:39]so food dressing dress for the their kids so clothing these things

[2:49]but actually the responsibility more than that more than that we believe

[2:56]that islamically the kids children they need to feed their soul before

[3:05]feeding their stomachs so feeding the soul it's more important to feeding

[3:13]the stomachs they can find food everywhere but the clean understanding and

[3:22]the clean knowledge this is the most difficult issues today especially at

[3:31]this time when everyone could access the internet and tv and these

[3:38]medias so open to everything one of the very important teachings of

[3:47]islam this is the very important issues that's to live worshiping allah

[4:23]not worshiping the desires not worshiping the money not worshiping shaitan and

[4:30]others so today unfortunately allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned these people in

[4:36]the quran some people allah said shaitan i told you don't worship

[4:51]shaitan worshiping shaitan it means listening to shaitan it means obey shaitan

[4:59]when someone listen to the shaitan it means he's worshiping the shaitan

[5:05]this first second allah said at the quran there is some people

[5:22]they worship but desires their desires unfortunately the dalik the saying of

[5:31]rasulullah the tradition said following the hawa it means desires it means

[5:46]you worship your desire and you don't care about anything in this

[5:51]life the important issue to fulfill your desire and to be satisfied

[6:00]with your desire this is the most dangerous issues so some people

[6:08]they follow shaitan some people they follow their desires some people they

[6:13]worship money they work from the beginning of their life the morning

[6:20]until night just for money and making money this is their aim

[6:26]in this life this is their target so this is what they

[6:30]want just to do and to make money this is also a

[6:35]type of worshiping and allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said this is wrong

[6:42]so we have to teach our kids to live and worship allah

[6:47]subhanahu wa ta'ala not these issues i remember when when september 11

[6:58]happened at that time a lady she came to the center and

[7:02]she said i would like to ask you a few things she

[7:05]was not from our community and she said i told her what

[7:12]do you worship do you believe in god she said no i

[7:17]worship myself i worship myself so i wanted to satisfy with everything

[7:25]i looking for enjoyment in every day every in everything i am

[7:31]looking for the enjoyment this is the difference between islamic thinking and

[7:40]someone he's just looking for the enjoyment allah subhanahu wa ta'ala we

[7:50]know in the quran we live in the circle within the rules

[7:55]of islam because rules of islam it tell you you have to

[8:00]live in the safe environment sometimes if you look just for your

[8:05]enjoyment you will harm other people you will harm the society look

[8:11]at these people who's drinking and drinking and drinking they harm everything

[8:17]around of them they harm their family the one who using drugs

[8:22]the one these people they look for enjoyment but unfortunately they destroyed

[8:30]the families people around of them the safety of the country the

[8:35]safety of public outside so islamically we have to follow allah subhanahu

[8:43]wa ta'ala and live within the rules of islam because rules of

[8:49]islam it is guarantee to everyone how to live with dignity so

[8:57]this is the difference between someone who's worshiping himself and his desire

[9:04]and with someone who's following allah subhanahu wa ta'ala one of the

[9:14]important issues we have to understand my dear brothers and sisters and

[9:22]teachings to the youngs don't live in hypocrisy in the state of

[9:29]hypocrisy we want our kids to understand there is no duplicate of

[9:39]way of dealing with people there is just one way that's way

[9:45]the way of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala unfortunately sometimes some people they

[9:52]live in hypocrisy how they deal with us here in the masjid

[9:58]in front of people like someone has a beard and he's a

[10:03]muslim reciting quran but in his home he's different in the outside

[10:10]different in the market different so see allah subhanahu wa ta'ala allah

[10:19]required that the one who's following the rules of allah to be

[10:24]straight with allah and with the human all people with muslim and

[10:30]non muslim people with your family if someone he's not your family

[10:35]friends outside allah wants you to be with them straight not to

[10:42]deal with them with them in the hypocrisy let me give you

[10:47]some examples this is from our life one of the hypocrisy which

[11:59]is people lived i know this story happened here in the united

[12:03]states a lady she go and ask for the hand of the

[12:11]girls four times for her son which is the mental problem he

[12:18]has a mental problems and she going and looking for the best

[12:24]girl at the society she said to people to people around of

[12:28]her i am looking for the best girl to my son so

[12:34]if she knows her son he's crazy he's bad he's not following

[12:41]the rules why is she looking a best girl for him this

[12:47]is nifaq this is haram because you have to deal with others

[12:54]like your kids how about if that girl she was your daughter

[13:00]do you accept that do you give her to someone he doesn't

[13:05]want some people unfortunately they are believers they are mummah but they

[13:13]do these things unfortunately this is the rules in islam we have

[13:25]to teach our teenagers boys girls we have to teach them from

[13:31]the beginning always love to people what you love to to yourself

[14:40]i know some peoples they are they don't pray but if sometimes

[14:51]his wife she turned and she someone saw her face he got

[14:58]angry with her and he make problem with her and he said

[15:02]keep your face and wear your hijab and i don't want anyone

[15:06]to see you some people they feel the that feeling of the

[15:15]hijab so this is always also islamically wrong because islam said you

[15:24]have to practice islam in old ways and everything just in one

[15:31]way to become a man to protect your family your kids your

[15:37]daughters and in other hand you don't pray to allah and you

[15:42]don't care criticizing here and there they criticizing everyone complaining about everyone

[16:20]but when himself in that place he do same mistakes this is

[16:27]hypocrisy we have to teach our youngs don't live in this type

[16:32]of thinking be straight with allah we ask you to guide us

[16:45]to the very straight way straight with your family with allah with

[16:49]the society with everyone this is how allah loves the believers and

[16:57]the moment the third example my dear brothers and sisters sometimes people

[17:04]do something not normal they said he's he's crazy he's for example

[17:59]some people they thought mentally people mental people they are mijnun amir

[18:04]mumin said they they they are not mijnun these people they are

[18:08]mubtala someone allah testing him with a type of disease but the

[18:15]real majnoon the real majnoon the one who the one who's in

[18:22]the month of ramadan at the night of ramadan sitting and spending

[18:27]his hours on the tv that's when he's majinun the one who

[18:33]doesn't know how to spend his time in the month of ramadan

[18:38]the one who criticizing others and if he was in their place

[18:44]he used to do same wrongs the one who taking the money

[18:48]off yateem and eating and doing the haram that one he's the

[18:52]majnoon amir al muminin said the real majnoon the one who's just

[19:00]have the fun at this life and forgetting the other lives just

[19:09]the enjoyment and the love here in america sometimes they said to

[19:14]the people have fun in islam we don't have fun in islam

[19:21]we live in a state of the exam of allah subhanahu wa

[19:25]ta'ala inshaallah the fun in the paradise fun in front of us

[19:31]now we are in the exam we are allah testing us to

[19:35]see what we do this life it's not just for fun yes

[19:41]sometimes it's good to have fun something if it's not haram if

[19:45]it's not haram it's good sometimes to spend sometimes but this life

[19:51]it's not just for enjoyment we have to teach our kids allah

[19:57]watching us angels of allah watching us to see what we do

[20:50]the real majinun the real crazy one the one who allah gave

[20:56]him the opportunities and he leave the opportunities i know some people

[21:01]here in america many people they go to universities and study someone

[21:06]he leave the study he doesn't want to study this is majinu

[21:12]the one who allah gave him that much opportunities and he doesn't

[21:18]care amir al mumineen peace be upon him in nahj al balagha

[21:22]he said al for us al for us amir al mumineen said

[21:32]take advantage of the opportunities because it is it is a cross

[21:38]like a cloud and it will go and will never come back

[21:43]there is a few things it goes and never come back when

[21:48]the word you saying that you're talking now if you talk anything

[21:54]that's it this word will never come back allah will judge you

[22:02]according to what you said so this is something it goes it

[22:07]never come back second the life the life our age hadith it

[22:35]said at the tradition it said every day calling you calling us

[22:41]and telling us i am i am a new day for you

[22:45]do good things and you will never see me so this is

[22:51]the last day today was thursday and that's it that's thursday it's

[22:57]end we will see this thursday at the day of judgment when

[23:02]allah open our books we will see what we did at that

[23:07]day so the world it will never come back the age the

[23:15]life it will never come back and also the opportunity it will

[23:21]never come back and the fourth thing is the trust if someone

[23:28]trusts you and you broke that trust no one that trust you

[23:36]can't fix it anymore because that trust if it's gone so it

[23:43]will never come back we have to teach our kids these four

[23:49]things will never come back my dear brothers and sisters we have

[23:56]to teach our kids how to live this is how allah wants

[24:03]us so please we have to give them some examples of the

[24:11]life of ahlul bayt peace be upon them rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa'alehi

[24:18]and the imams so there is other things also we have to

[24:30]teach our kids life like a supermarket whatever you pick up in

[24:42]the supermarket there is a checkpoint in front of you you have

[24:47]to pay whatever in the supermarket free whatever you want you can

[24:55]go and pick up in the supermarket free so you can pick

[25:01]up everything but you have to understand there is a point you

[25:07]have to pay whatever you pick up life same this life whatever

[25:16]you do here there is one day you have to pay the

[25:21]price whether you did good or if you did bad things whatever

[25:29]you do it has two prices one price for this life and

[25:34]one price in the after at the day of judgment so whatever

[25:41]you do so check yourself amir al mu'mineen said this is what

[25:49]ali ibn abi talib said life it's like a market some people

[26:03]they win some people they lose so see yourself whatever you pick

[26:10]up in the supermarket you have in front of you a checkpoint

[26:15]you have to pay the price so we have to teach our

[26:19]kids whatever they do if they spend their life in playing spending

[26:27]wasting their time they have to pay the price if they if

[26:33]they go to university study if they recite quran if they do

[26:39]whatever good for them also they have to give the price and

[26:43]allah will give them the price they will see the results so

[26:49]this is the life allah said at the day of judgment we

[27:16]will show you your book and that day we will tell you

[27:20]read your book and you are you are the judge you said

[27:25]what you do you be the judge the judge at the day

[27:31]of judgment and you will decide what you did at this life

[27:38]so you read in al quran firaun always disobey allah subhanahu subhanahu

[29:47]wa wa whatever he wants he did whatever his desire told him

[29:56]he followed but at the end at the last moment in his

[30:04]life saddam lived like firaun at the at the last moment of

[30:45]his life he said allah told firaun did same things firaun when

[30:57]the punishment of allah comes to him at that moment he said

[31:01]i believe in the allah of bani israel the lord of bani

[31:10]israel allah told him now you're saying this no unfortunately now allah

[31:19]not accepting so the regret doesn't benefit him anymore we have to

[31:28]teach our kids my dear brothers and sisters before the day of

[31:33]regret before the day of regret because allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said

[31:40]about the day of judgment the day of judgment the day of

[31:47]regret everyone regrets in the tradition it said someone asked the prophet

[31:54]said you rasulullah you said everyone regret even the messengers of allah

[32:00]rasulullah said yes even the messengers of allah they will regret at

[32:04]the day of judgment he said how come he said even the

[32:08]messengers they will see some messengers above of them on the day

[32:13]of judgment they will regret why they couldn't do more and more

[32:18]and became like the others' messengers even the messengers of allah even

[32:26]the believers at the day of judgment they will regret my dear

[32:38]brothers and sisters allah gave us favor allah gave us kids we

[32:45]have to understand the favor of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and we

[32:50]have to understand how to raise them how to live with them

[32:57]and how to teach them the other things i would like the

[33:08]kids to hear me and we have to teach them hadith it

[33:13]said this is the hadith a tradition of the rasulullah and ahlul

[33:17]bayt it said when someone he's anger don't talk when someone when

[33:25]you are angry angry don't speak shut your mouth why because islamically

[33:35]this is believe me the tradition it said it said because you're

[33:40]going to do some mistakes when you are angry because you are

[33:44]not controlling your nerve and yourself and you will do some mistakes

[33:51]so when you are angry don't speak we have to teach our

[33:58]kids this is one of the rules of the islamic way second

[34:08]never never advise someone in the public because you're harming him if

[34:16]someone did mistake anyone if anyone did a mistake don't come in

[34:23]front of people telling him you know you did a mistake don't

[34:29]teach him in front of people these things why because you're embarrassing

[34:34]him you're embarrassing him in front of people you're telling him you

[34:39]did wrong things so if he wants to do good don't embarrass

[34:44]anyone go hide somewhere private personal tell him tell him you did

[34:53]wrong things so this is another things we have to deal with

[35:00]the kids in front of others don't embarrass the kids and don't

[35:05]embarrass anyone anyone not just kids anyone this is how ahlul bayt

[35:13]teaching us this is few issues which is the imam mentioned in

[35:26]his tradition and the last things my dear brothers and sisters your

[35:33]relationship with your parents something will be copy your kids will be

[35:40]with you like what you did with your parents this is a

[35:46]story you write this story but your kids they will read it

[35:53]for you do you understand what i said story you write the

[35:59]story but you your kids one day they will read it for

[36:03]you so whatever you did with your parents your kids one day

[36:09]they do same things with you i have many stories wallah from

[36:16]our life i have many stories of these things someone disrespect his

[36:23]parents allah gave him kids they disrespect him same things same things

[36:34]so see yourself what you did with your parents my dear brothers

[38:36]and sisters this is the life and we have to follow the

[38:41]rules of ahlul bayt the school of ahlul bayt peace be upon

[38:46]them and we have to encourage them my dear brothers and sisters

[38:51]today probably these speeches you didn't find these speeches in the universities

[38:58]or in the tvs these things you find it in the masjid

[39:03]in quran in the dua of imam zain al abideen and ahlul

[39:08]bayt that's why we have to bring our kids to the masjid

[39:16]to the salah to learn these things a man he was in

[39:30]the day of arafat he said always i dislike kids i used

[39:37]to say i don't like kids i am tired of kids but

[39:42]on the day of arafat i was in the hajj suddenly i

[39:46]look next to me i saw a young man raising his hand

[39:54]and crying and he said allah forgive my fathers my mothers so

[40:06]he said when i saw him i said i wish i wish

[40:10]i have like this person i wish i have a son like

[40:15]this to remember me after the death who will remember me so

[40:21]he said i changed my mind i said i wish i have

[40:25]like this person to remember me after my death to recite quran

[40:31]for me recite fatiha for me or give some charity sadhatah for

[40:37]me so allah now gave us this opportunity my dear brothers and

[40:43]sisters and we have to ask allah insha'allah to guide us to

[40:51]raise our kids in the way of ahlul bayt one of the

[40:59]youth one of the youngs in the day of karbala was al

[41:05]qasim the son of imam hassan peace be upon him oh my

[41:15]son how do you feel about the killing about the war about

[41:21]the about this battle he said yeah i'm oh my ankle in

[41:31]your way fighting in your way it's sweeter than the honey so

[41:39]i am willing to do that and don't worry don't worry about

[41:44]me my ankle imam hussein hug him and they start crying and

[42:12]crying and they fall so the kids the others ladies his mom

[42:19]they come and to say bye to him at the last moment
