During the past few years, social media has further exposed the struggles that African Americans face as a result of the discrimination and racism in the United States. This conversation became more important in the public eye especially after the killing of George Floyd earlier this year. Amidst this conversation, the African American Shia community is generally overlooked and underrepresented in both American, Muslims, and even Shia society. ⁣المسلسل هو نقد للوضع الاجتماعي في الثمانينات ويروي جو المجتمع الإيراني خلال فترة حكومة البهلوي الديكتاتورية عام 1960 الميلادي عندما بدأ الشعب الإيراني بالمقاومة ضد الثقافة الغربية وبمكافحة الحكومة وإبداء اعتراضاتهم بطرق مختلفة وذلك عبر قصص شاب يدعى ( كمال ) والذي يواجه قضايا اجتماعية وأزمات في عصره.
ويشارك في تمثيل المسلسل النجوم محمود باك نيت، شهرة لرستاني ،کاظم هجیر آزاد، مهرداد ضیایي، سعید بیردوست، میرطاهر مظلومي، شهین تسلیمی ،حمید لولایي، رضا شفیعی‌جم، مریم سعادت، سولماز غنی، یوسف صیادی، نكار عابدی، امیر نوري، ومحمد شیري .
