ومسلسل غاندو مسلسل ذو مضمون أمني وتقوم قصته على أساس وثائق و وقائع تاريخية حقيقية، ويشارك فيه مجموعة من ألمع نجوم الفن الإيراني ومنهم: وداريوش فرهنك، ووحيد رهباني، وبيام دهكردي، وليلا أوتادي، وسارا خوئيني ها، ومحمدجواد طاهري، وجمشيد جهانزاده، ومحمدرضا شريفي نيا، وكمند أميرسليماني وفرهاد قائميان.
ويشارك نجوم جدد الى جانب هؤلاء في الجزء الثاني من المسلسل و هم شهرام قائدي ومحمد مختاري وأميريل أرجمند وشهرزاد كمال زادة وسارا منجزي بور ومهدي عبادتي وحسن أسدي ورضا هاشمي وبيام دهكردي وآخرين.
