I am here Hussain
Hussain Aba Abdillah

With armour big and bruised young feet
The battles harshness Qasim did meet
With great pain a last him you’ll greet
Soon in your arms Qasim will bleed

There he stood paying his each due
And whilst at him arrows they threw
His last glance tore your heart in two
Gods service is all you both knew

We aim like Qasim from young age
To fight your enemies centre stage

I am here Hussain
Hussain Aba Abdillah

One by one your men would all fall
Alone you stood hearing their last call
Then one voice echoed oh so loud
A voice that promised to make you proud

Al Abbas was standing so brave
And To their bribes he refused to cave
He promised even in his grave
That your flag he will forever wave

So let them take our left and right
Like al Abbas, we’ll fight for your plight

I am here Hussain

What’s more dear to parents than kin
In them you see your own heart and skin
So what if that skin was ripped apart
And in them you find no beating heart?

Oh Hussain your hardest goodbyes
Seeing life fade from your children’s eyes
Paying the ultimate sacrifice
Asghar and Akbar faced their demise

That day you cried blood anguished cries
So today as your children we rise

I am here Hussain

And as you lay upon those hot plains
You hear in the background muffled chains
All surrounds are the body remains
Lone horses with no soldiers on reins

And on your neck a blunt knife gnaws
Gripped by your beard on your clenched jaws
Louder you hear enemy applause
The time must be to face your lord

That day you died alone and estranged
But we live to avenge you Hussain
