Beside Baqee I stand wailing your grave I don't see
Told to move and stop our crying by the enemy
As you were silenced from mourning over the Nabi
They’d go complain about the disturbance to Ali
A daughter crushed
Whose mourning rushed
Muhammad's trust
Cries that were hushed

Oppression starts, your father barely six feet under
They claimed Fadak you had no right that land they’d plunder
How they'll face Allah on judgement day I do wonder
When the blessed daughter of Mohammed they did murder
A will ignored
Ahmed had warned
Anger toward
Zahra abhorred
Ya Fatima Mathlooma Ya Tahera Mahrooma
Wretched men approached your house setting alight your door
They slapped your holy face till you collapsed to the floor
From then Zainab had nightmares over the scenes she saw
Nail in the rib of the mother whom she did adore
Fidha she'd call
Mohsin did fall
Between the wall
Won't see his crawl

The extent of your pain and wounds you hid from Ali
As he came forward to perform your ghusl he'd see
Weeping as he felt shattered ribs and each injury
How heartless to attack that pure woman must you be?
Patience uphold
Ali was told
What will unfold
To his household

Secretly buried under the sky of a dark night
The angels brightened up the path with heavenly light
Her graves location hidden from those who stole her right
They'd never be able to lay their eyes on that site

يا فاطمة مظلومة يا طاهرة محرومة
اقف بجانب البقيع و انحب لاني لم ارى قبرك
و الاعداء ينحوننا جانبا و يمنعوننا من البكاء
كما منعوك ان تنوحي على رسول الله
ذهبوا الى علي و اشتكوا من الازعاج
بنت عصرت
و استعجل بعزائها
أمانت محمد
بكاء قد اسكت
يا فاطمة مظلومة يا طاهرة محرومة
ظلمك بدء و ابوك حتى لم يدفن ستة اقدام
ادعوا انه لا حق لك بفدك و تلك الارض نهبوها
اتساءل كيف سيواجهون الله يوم القيامة
عندما قتلوا بنت محمد المباركة
وصية اهملت
احمد قد انذر
غضب وجه الى
الزهراء غضبت

رجال تعساء هجموا على بيتك و اشعلوا النار ببابك

مسمار بضلع والدتها العزيزة

بين الحائط
و لم تراه يحبو

اخفيتي درجة المك و جراحك عن علي
عندما قام بتغسيلك رأه
بكى عندما لمس كل ضلع مكسور و كل جرح
كم من الممكن ان تكون قاسي القلب كي تهاجم امرأة نقية
تمسك بالصبر

لاهل بيته

On the trail of blood and tears this lady stands
She raises her hands recalling Abbas’s hands
Shrouded by the wings of Abbas on these lands
The night prayer begins to obey Zainab’s commands
She does takbir, she does takbir
Among the ash, among the blood

With a bent back stands in worship to her Lord

The sun sets, dry is the air
Rivers cease, utter despair
No water, heat, cannot bare
All the angels are in despair
Mum and son, the final embrace
Earth mourns seeing his resting place
Soft, delicate and so small
My joy when you tried to crawl
Tiny palms clenched my finger
Your scent on me would linger
When you'd smile I was entertained
You were a mirror of Hussain
My son, you have stole my heart
Death can not do us apart
Your small cradle was my home
Your footsteps is where I roam
One day you'd grow and I would see
How handsome my Asghar would be
I’d sing you a lullaby
But this time, you don’t reply
You’re thirsty, but you don't cry
For your mother, open your eyes
Against the law of God, a crime
A great crime that will transcend time
Hussain digs a shallow grave
In there my heart too was laid
It’s the time for you to sleep
And by your grave I would weep
I see Hussain walk back and forth
In distress over Asghar’s loss
I know you're in the best care
Angels besides you, and my prayer
Every night they’ll soothe your cries
Give you food and wipe your eyes
No more heat, pain and thirst
By Allah's angels you'll be nursed
