Reciter: Hajj #Abo_Ayman | With English Subtitle
ْبسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهِ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household,
وَبَلِّغْ بِإِيمَانِي أَكْمَلَ الإِيمَانِ
cause my faith to reach the most perfect faith,
وَاجْعَلْ يَقِينِي أَفْضَلَ الْيَقِينِ
make my certainty the most excellent certainty,
وَانتَهِ بِنِيَّتِي إِلَى أَحْسَنِ النِّيَّاتِ، وَبِعَمَلِي إِلَى أَحْسَنِ الأَعْمَاِل
and take my intention to the best of intentions, and my works to the best of works!
اللَّهُمَّ
O Allah,
وَفِّرْ بِلُطْفِكَ نِيَّتِي
complete my intention through Your gentleness,
وَصَحِّحْ بِمَا عِندَكَ يَقِينِي
rectify my certainty through what is with You,
وَاسْتَصْلِحْ بِقُدْرَتِكَ مَا فَسَدَ مِنِّي
And set right what is corrupt in me through Your power!
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهِ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household,
وَاكْفِنِي مَا يَشْغَلُنِي الإِهْتِمَامُ بِهِ
spare me the concerns which distract me,
وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِي بِمَا تَسْألُنِي غَداً عَنْهُ
employ me in that about which You will ask me tomorrow,
وَاسْتَفْرِغْ أَيَّامِي فِيمَا خَلَقْتَنِي لَهُ
And let me pass my days in that for which You hast created me!
وَاغْنِنِي وَأَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ فِي رِزْقِكَ
Free me from need, and expand Your provision toward me,
وَلا تَفْتِنِّي بِالنَّظَرِ
And tempt me not with ingratitude!
وَأَعِزَّنِي وَلا تَبْتَلِيَنِّي بِالْكِبْرِ
Exalt me and afflict me not with pride!

أَللَّهُمَّ يَا مَنْ لا يَصِفُهُ نَعْتُ الْوَاصِفِينَ ،
God, O He whom the depiction of the describers fails to describe!
وَيَا مَنْ لاَ يُجَاوِزُهُ رَجَاءُ الرَّاجِينَ ،
He beyond whom passes not the hope of the hopers!
وَيَا مَنْ لاَ يَضِيعُ لَدَيْهِ أَجْرُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ،
He with whom is not lost the wage of the good-doers!
وَيَا مَنْ هُوَ مُنْتَهَى خَوْفِ الْعَابِدِيْنَ،
He who is the ultimate object of the fear of the worshipers!
وَيَا مَنْ هُوَ غَايَةُ خَشْيَةِ الْمُتَّقِينَ.
He who is the utmost limit of the dread of the godfearing!
هَذا مَقَامُ مَنْ تَدَاوَلَتْهُ أَيْدِي الذُّنُوبِ ،
This is the station of him whom sins have passed from hand to hand.
وَقَادَتْهُ أَزِمَّةُ الْخَطَايَا ،
Offenses' reins have led him on,
وَاسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيْهِ الشَّيْطَانُ،
and Satan has gained mastery over him.
فَقَصَّرَ عَمَّا أَمَرْتَ بِهِ تَفْرِيطَاً،
He fell short of what You hast commanded through neglect
وَتَعَاطى مَا نَهَيْتَ عَنْهُ تَغْرِيراً،
and he pursued what You hast prohibited in delusion,
كَالْجاهِلِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَيْهِ،
like one ignorant of Your power over him
أَوْ كَالْمُنْكِرِ فَضْلَ إحْسَانِكَ إلَيْهِ،
or one who denies the bounty of Your beneficence toward him,
حَتَّى إذَا انْفَتَحَ لَهُ بَصَرُ الْهُدَى،
until, when the eye of guidance was opened for him
وَتَقَشَّعَتْ عَنْهُ سَحَائِبُ الْعَمَى أَحْصَى مَا ظَلَمَ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ،
and the clouds of blindness were dispelled, he reckoned that through which he had wronged himself
وَفَكَّرَ فِيمَا خَالَفَ بِهِ رَبَّهُ،
and reflected upon that in which he had opposed his Lord.
فَرَأى كَبِيْرَ عِصْيَانِهِ كَبِيْراً، وَجَلِيل مُخالفَتِهِ جَلِيْلاً،
He saw his vast disobedience as vast and his great opposition as great.
فَأَقْبَلَ نَحْوَكَ مُؤَمِّلاً لَكَ، مُسْتَحْيِيَاً مِنْكَ،
So turned to You, hoping in You and ashamed before You,
وَوَجَّهَ رَغْبَتَهُ إلَيْكَ ثِقَةً بِكَ،
and he directed his beseeching toward You, having trust in You
