Who says you should go to Karbala whenever you are in the mood?!

What if after the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (‘a.j.), they say, “Whoever went on the Arbaeen walk, was effective in preparing for the reappearance.” If your grandchild or child asks you, “Dad, did you go on the Arbaeen walk,” what will you answer?
Making a pilgrimage is something serious. You may go to the shrine when you are in the mood. That’s nice. You liked to go. When you go to Karbala you should say, “I am ready to help you.” Suddenly, everything becomes serious!
At least you should be able to say, “If I couldn’t go myself, I sent one person and paid his way. He was young and able to go to the shrine of Aba Abdillah al-Husayn (‘a) so it wouldn’t be empty.” “I am ready to help you.” This phrase is a part of the Arbaeen supplication. I have come to help you.
If you can’t go yourself, send your child, neighbour, or colleague. Go yourself too. Say, “Imam I have come to show and announce my presence, lest my name not be recorded here.” Imam Husayn (‘a) is holding a eulogy ceremony himself for Arbaeen.
Shall I give you some strange news? A person may wonder at this until the end of time! Some religious groups hold gatherings during the year, but they don’t do anything for Arbaeen. Isn’t that interesting? They spend and work hard for their eulogy ceremonies. But, about the eulogy that Imam Husayn (‘a) holds himself, they say, “There are others who will go.” What about you?
Imam Sadiq (‘a) saw one of his friends. The Imam (‘a) said, “I have heard that there are some people who love us and follow us, who haven’t been to Karbala for four years.” The man replied, “Many people are like this!” Imam Sadiq (‘a) said, “What will these people tell the Prophet of God?” The man said, “How often should a person go on this pilgrimage?” The Imam said, “Poor people, once a year. Rich people, twice a year.”
Should one go to Karbala based on his mood and when he wants to? Where have they said this? In which tradition has this been written? A soldier should go show and announce his presence.
Because we act like this and look at it in this way, the reappearance still hasn’t happened yet. What if after the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (‘a.j.), they say, “Whoever went on the Arbaeen walk, was effective in preparing for the reappearance.” If your grandchild or child asks you, “Dad, did you go on the Arbaeen walk,” what will you answer? A soldier should go show and announce his presence.
We have advanced in spiritual matters, Itikaf, and making pilgrimages. Praise God, see how many people come to Imam Reza’s (‘a) shrine or to the Jamkaran Mosque. But friends, we still haven’t reached the needed growth. Only two million people go on Arbaeen from Iran? How do you justify this? Didn’t Imam Hasan Askari (‘a) say this is a sign of being our follower? Don’t you feel responsible? Where will you be on Arbaeen?!

السؤال 1: في بعض الصلوات اشك في خروج الريح فلا اعلم ان كان قد خرج بالفعل ام لا فهل تجب اعادة الصلاة علما بان ذلك يتكرر في كثير من الصلوات ؟

السؤال 2: ما حكم الشك بين الركعتين الثانية والرابعة في صلاة العشاء؟

السؤال 3: هل ان مطلق الشك في صلاة المغرب او الفجر يبطل الصلاة ام انه يقتصر علي الشك في الاركان فقط؟

السؤال 4: ما حكم من شك في فعل أفعال الصلاة وقد دخل في غيره؟

السؤال 5: لو حصل عندي شك بين الثلاث والاربع في حال القيام ثم أيقنت اني لم اسجد السجدة الثانية في الركعة السابقة فما هو الحكم؟

السؤال 6: اذا كان المصلي في السجود وهو يعلم انه في السجدة الاولي او الثانية ولكنه شك في عدد الركعات، فهل يجوز له ان يرفع راسه من السجود ولو بنية القربة المطلقة ثم يتأمل ويفكر في عدد الركعات او ينظر الي العلامة التي كان قد استعملها لضبط عدد الركعات السبحة او الحصاة أم يجب عليه البقاء في فترة التأمل ساجداً الي ان يستقر فكره علي حالة معينة ثم يرفع راسه؟

السؤال 7: مَن كان حكمه الصلاة من جلوس، اذا شك بين الثلاث والاربع واستقر شكه، ثم بني علي الاربع واتم صلاته، فهل عليه ان يصلي ركعة واحدة من جلوس، ام ركعتين من جلوس؟

السؤال 8: ما حكم من شك في صلاته ثم انقلب شكه الي الظن قبل أن يتم صلاته؟

السؤال 9: ما حكم من يشك في عدد السجدات عند الجلوس تقريباً في جميع الصلوات اليومية؟

السؤال 10: إذا شككت أثناء الصلاة التي أصليها أنها صلاة الظهر أو العصر، أم المغرب أو العشاء ، وبعد التفكير برهةً من الزمن تيقنت أنني أصلي العشاء، فما حكم صلاتي؟

السؤال 11: ما حكم الشكّ في الاتيان بالتشهّد؟

السؤال 12: بعد الأنتهاء من صلاة المغرب تذكّرت أنني قد صلّيتها أربع ركعات فما هو الحكم؟

السؤال 13: هل يعتبر الاطمئنان كاليقين في عدد السجدات كاليقين به؟

١٤السؤال: بعد اتمام صلاتي المغرب والعشاء تبين لي أنني قد صليت صلاة المغرب أربع ركعات فهل تجب اعادة صلاة المغرب فقط؟

السؤال 15: ما حكم من صلّى الفجر وبعد شروق الشمس او بعد الصلاة شك في كونه على جنابة؟

السؤال 16: ما حكم من شك في الطهارة وهو في الفرض الاول؟

السؤال 17: أشك في نية الصلاة قبل الدخول في الصلاة فهل يجب عليّ أن أكبّر واصلّي ولا أهتم بهذا الشك؟

السؤال 18: هل يجوز اعادة فريضة العشاء (مثلاً) من جديد مع الشك في عدد الركعات كما لو كان في الركعة الثانية شك في أنه في الركعة الثالثة؟ واذا تمت اعادتها فما الحكم؟

السؤال 19: ما حكم الشك في صلاة الفجر بين الركعتين الأولى والثانية ؟

السؤال 20: كثير الشك إذا ظن بعدم فعل السجود مثلاً فهل يجري عليه حكم كثير الشك ؟

السؤال 21: ما حكم الشك في عدد الركعات عامة؟

السؤال 22: ما حكم الشك في الصلاة الرباعية بين الركعتين الثانية والثالثة قبل ان يتشهد التشهد الاوسط ظناً منه انها الركعة الثالثة؟

السؤال 23: شخص شك اثناء الصلاة (كما لو شك بين الاثنتين والثلاث بعد السجدة الثانية فعمل بما يلزم اي بني علي الثالثة وجاء بالرابعة واثناء التشهد تيقن ان الشك لم يكن صحيحاً بل كانت الركعة هي الثانية وكان عليه الاتيان بالتشهد، فما العمل؟

السؤال 24: شخص شك اثناء الصلاة وعمل بما يلزم وبعد السلام نسي ان ياتي بركعة الاحتياط ـ فما هو حكمه اذا:
أ ـ إذا جاء بسجدة الشكر ولم يات بمنافٍ للصلاة ثم تذكر ان عليه ان ياتي بصلاة الاحتياط؟
ب ـ جاء بسجدة الشكر وسبح تسبيحة الزهراء (سلام الله عليها) ولم يات بمناف ثم تذكر صلاة الاحتياط؟

السؤال 25: هل يجوز للمصلي ان يبطل صلاته عمداً اذا كان قد شك في صحتها؟

السؤال 26: مَن يشك في الصلوات الخمسة يوميا في مواضع مختلفة إما في عدد السجود أو الركعات هل اعمل بوظائف الشاك أو أتجاهل حتى تزول الشكوك ؟

السؤال 27: اذا استقر شك المصلي بين الثلاث والأربع فبنى على الأربع وسلّم وقبل دخوله في صلاة الاحتياط ظن بالثالتة. فهل يبني على الظن أم يأتي بصلاة الاحتياط؟

Why was I created?

Is any other goal besides this worth living for?

Everyone, everyone from any culture, asks this question as he matures, “Why was I created? I want to choose a goal.” They make the youth busy with false excitements, distractions and games. What is our goal in life? Meeting God. This is the natural goal of our life. God repeats this about 70 times in the Qur’an, “To Him we shall return.” [2:156] and “To Him all things return.” [64:3]
Young people ask me, “After living for example one billion years in Heaven, won’t we become bored sir?! How much do we want to dive into rivers, be with lovely mates and all that?!” Yes, they’re right. They haven’t realized that they’re preparing the introduction to receiving the most mystical answers. Why has God created you? Is it for anything besides Himself? Is this what your wisdom tells you? Are other goals worth pursuing?!
A young person asked me, “What should we do if we’re bored in Heaven?” I answered, “You’re right. One may get bored in Heaven. If they take you to a resort or a hotel, will you get bored there? You’ll get bored. A hotel is a place to rest, even if it’s a luxury hotel. Meeting your beloved, whether on a pilgrimage or even on your Honeymoon is what makes being in a hotel sweet for you. Heaven is like a hotel for meeting God. That’s what causes one not to become bored of the lovely mates, rivers etc.” He said, “Aha!”
We are able to determine the level of this meeting. We are able to increase the quality of this meeting. We can meet Him in the best situation. We can become eager for this meeting! «مَن ذَکَرَ اللّه َ وَ لَمْ یَشْتَقْ إلى لِقائهِ فَقدِ اسْتَهْزأ بنَفْسِهِ» Imam Reza (as) said, “Whoever remembers God but doesn’t yearn to meet Him has made fun of himself.” If I want to talk in a familiar way with such a person, I’ll say, “You clown! Don’t fool yourself with your prayer!” With friends, one can talk comfortably. When speaking in public we can’t talk like that!
If you think about it, you’ll come to this goal. If you think about it, you’ll love this goal! If you keep remembering this goal, you’ll become eager about it! Then I told this young man, “You probably don’t want to ask, ‘What if we become bored of God.’ If this comes to your mind, laugh at yourself.” Does God finish? If you know God a little, there’s nothing else new about Him?? After billions of years, when you go to meet him again, you’ll say, “I hadn’t seen God till now! I didn’t know Him!” This is after billions of years of being in Heaven, and this will continue forever.
This is the meaning of God being unlimited. God being unlimited doesn’t just mean His unlimited greatness. It also means He’s unlimitedly enjoyable. He has unlimited new things for a person. Unlimited fondness, unlimited love and unlimited affection. It can’t be anything besides this! If it is anything other than this, I won’t be satisfied! I won’t be satisfied with such a God! “I don’t love those who fade away!” [Qur’an 6:76] This is what Prophet Ibrahim (as) has taught me. He said, “Say the same thing, ‘I don’t love those who fade away.’” Choose a goal that does not fade away. Why has God created you? Is it for anything besides Himself? Is this what your wisdom tells you? Are other goals worth pursuing?!
