‎اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَشْكُو إِلَيْكَ
O Allah, we complain to You

‎فَقْدَ نَبِيِّنَا صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
about the departure of our Prophet, Your blessings be on him and on his Household,

‎وَغَيْبَةَ وَلِيِّنَا
*the absence of our leader (Imam Mahdi [a])*

‎وَكَثْرَةَ عَدُوِّنَا
the big numbers of our enemies,

‎وَقِلَّةَ عَدَدِنَا
the few number of us,

‎وَشِدَّةَ ٱلْفِتَنِ بِنَا
widespread disorder,

‎وَتَظَاهُرَ ٱلزَّمَانِ عَلَيْنَا
and vicissitudes of time against us.

‎فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ
So, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household

‎وَأَعِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ بِفَتْحٍ مِنْكَ تُعَجِّلُهُ
and help us overcome all that through victory from You that You expedite

(Dua Iftetah)

في الخصال:

عن علي بن الحسين عليهما السلام: علامات المؤمن خمس، قلت: وما هن يا ابن رسول الله؟ قال:
1. الورع في الخلوة
2. والصدقة في القلة،
3. والصبر عند المصيبة،
4. والحلم عند الغضب،
5. والصدق عند الخوف.

Imam Ali b. Hussein said, “the signs of a believer are five:

1. Piety when alone
2. Charity when in need
3. Patience in affliction
4. Forbearance when angered
5. Truthful when afraid
